pradeśabhedābhāvād dravyeṇ sahaikatvamavalambamānaṁ dravyasya svabhāv ev kathaṁ na bhavet . tattu dravyāntarāṇāmiv dravyaguṇaparyāyāṇāṁ na pratyekaṁ parisamāpyate, yato hi parasparasādhit- siddhiyuktatvātteṣāmastitvamekamev, kārtasvaravat .
yathā hi dravyeṇ vā kṣetreṇ vā kālen vā bhāven vā kārtasvarāt pr̥thaganupalabhyamānaiḥ kartr̥karaṇādhikaraṇarūpeṇ pītatādiguṇānāṁ kuṇḍalādiparyāyāṇāṁ ca svarūpamupādāy pravartamān- pravr̥ttiyuktasya kārtasvarāstitven niṣpāditaniṣpattiyuktaiḥ pītatādiguṇaiḥ kuṇḍalādiparyāyaiśca yadastitvaṁ kārtasvarasya sa svabhāvaḥ, tathā hi dravyeṇ vā kṣetreṇ vā kālen vā bhāven vā dravyātpr̥thaganupalabhyamānaiḥ kartr̥karaṇādhikaraṇarūpeṇ guṇānāṁ paryāyāṇāṁ ca svarūpamupādāy śeṣajīvānāṁ ca bhinnaṁ bhavati na ca tathā . kaiḥ sah . guṇehiṁ sagapajjaehiṁ kevalajñānādiguṇaiḥ kiñcidūnacaramaśarīrākārādisvakaparyāyaiśca sah . kathaṁbhūtaiḥ . cittehiṁ siddhagatitvamatīndriyatvamakāyatvam- yogatvamavedatvamityādibahubhedabhinnaiḥ . na kevalaṁ guṇaparyāyaiḥ sah bhinnaṁ na bhavati . uppādavvayadhuvattehiṁ śuddhātmaprāptirūpamokṣaparyāyasyotpādo rāgādivikalparahitaparamasamādhirūpamokṣamārgaparyāyasya vyayastathā mokṣamokṣamārgādhārabhūtānvayadravyatvalakṣaṇaṁ dhrauvyaṁ cetyuktalakṣaṇotpādavyayadhrauvyaiśca sah bhinnaṁ na bhavati . katham . savvakālaṁ sarvakālaparyantaṁ yathā bhavati . kasmāttaiḥ sah bhinnaṁ na bhavatīti cet. yataḥ kāraṇādguṇaparyāyāstitvenotpādavyayadhrauvyāstitven ca kartr̥bhūten śuddhātmadravyāstitvaṁ sādhyate, anekatva hone par bhī pradeśabhed na honese dravyake sāth ekatvako dhāraṇ karatā huā, dravyakā svabhāv hī kyoṁ na ho ? (avaśya ho .) vah astitva — jaise bhinna -bhinna dravyoṁmeṁ pratyekameṁ samāpta ho jātā hai usīprakār — dravya -guṇ -paryāyameṁ pratyekameṁ samāpta nahīṁ ho jātā, kyoṁki unakī siddhi paraspar hotī hai, isaliye (arthāt dravya -guṇ aur paryāy ek dūsarese paraspar siddha hote haiṁ isaliye — yadi ek na ho to dūsare do bhī siddha nahīṁ hote isaliye) unakā astitva ek hī hai; — suvarṇakī bhān̐ti .
jaise dravya, kṣetra, kāl yā bhāvase 1suvarṇase jo pr̥thak dikhāī nahīṁ dete; kartā -karaṇ- adhikaraṇarūpase pītatvādiguṇoṁke aur kuṇḍalādiparyāyoṁke svarūpako dhāraṇ karake pravartamān suvarṇake astitvase jinakī utpatti hotī hai, — aise pītatvādiguṇoṁ aur kuṇḍalādi paryāyoṁse jo suvarṇakā astitva hai, vah suvarṇakā svabhāv hai; usīprakār dravyase, kṣetrase, kālase yā bhāvase jo dravyase pr̥thak dikhāī nahīṁ dete, kartā -karaṇ-2adhikaraṇarūpase guṇoṁke aur paryāyoṁke
1. pītatvādi guṇ aur kuṇḍalādi paryāyeṁ .
2. dravya hī guṇ -paryāyoṁkā kartā (karanevālā), unakā karaṇ (sādhan) aur unakā adhikaraṇ (ādhār)
