sarvathaikatvaṁ na śaṁk nīyaṁ; tadbhāvo hyekatvasya lakṣaṇam . yattu na tadbhavadvibhāvyate tatkathamekaṁ syāt . api tu guṇaguṇirūpeṇānekamevetyarthaḥ ..106.. athātadbhāvamudāhr̥tya prathayati — saddavvaṁ sacca guṇo saccev ya pajjao tti vitthāro .
jo khalu tassa abhāvo so tadabhāvo atabbhāvo ..107.. sarvadravyāṇāṁ svakīyasvakīyasvarūpāstitvaguṇen sah jñātavyamityarthaḥ ..106.. athātadbhāvaṁ viśeṣeṇ vistārya kathayati — saddavvaṁ sacca guṇo saccev ya pajjao tti vitthāro saddravyaṁ saṁśca guṇaḥ saṁścaiv paryāy iti sattāguṇasya dravyaguṇaparyāyeṣu vistāraḥ . tathāhi — yathā muktāphalahāre sattāguṇ- ekatva hogā aisī śaṁkā nahīṁ karanī cāhiye; kyoṁki tadbhāv ekatvakā lakṣaṇ hai . jo usarūp jñāt nahīṁ hotā vah (sarvathā) ek kaise ho sakatā hai ? nahīṁ ho sakatā; parantu guṇ- guṇī -rūpase anek hī hai, aisā artha hai .
bhāvārtha : — bhinnapradeśatva vah pr̥thaktvakā lakṣaṇ hai, aur atadbhāv vah anyatvakā lakṣaṇ hai . dravyameṁ aur guṇameṁ pr̥thaktva nahīṁ hai phi ra bhī anyatva hai .
praśna : — jo apr̥thak hote haiṁ unameṁ anyatva kaise ho sakatā hai ?
uttar : — unameṁ vastra aur śubhratā (saphe dī) kī bhān̐ti anyatva ho sakatā hai . vastrake aur usakī śubhratāke pradeś bhinna nahīṁ haiṁ, isaliye unameṁ pr̥thaktva nahīṁ hai . aisā hone par bhī śubhratā to mātra ān̐khoṁse hī dikhāī detī hai, jībh, nāk ādi śeṣ cār indriyoṁse jñāt nahīṁ hotī . aur vastra pān̐coṁ indriyoṁse jñāt hotā hai . isaliye (kathaṁcit) vastra vah śubhratā nahīṁ hai aur śubhratā vah vastra nahīṁ hai . yadi aisā na ho to vastrakī bhān̐ti śubhratā bhī jībh, nāk ityādi sarva indriyoṁse jñāt honā cāhiye . kintu aisā nahīṁ hotā . isaliye vastra aur śubhratāmeṁ apr̥thaktva hone par bhī anyatva hai yah siddha hotā hai .
isīprakār dravyameṁ aur sattādi guṇoṁmeṁ apr̥thaktva hone par bhī anyatva hai; kyoṁki dravyake aur guṇake pradeś abhinna hone par bhī dravyameṁ aur guṇameṁ saṁjñā -saṁkhyā -lakṣaṇādi bhed honese (kathaṁcit) dravya guṇarūp nahīṁ hai aur guṇ vah dravyarūp nahīṁ hai ..106..
ab, atadbhāvako udāharaṇ dvārā spaṣṭarūpase batalāte haiṁ : — ‘sat dravya’, ‘sat paryāy,’ ‘sat guṇ’ — sattvano vistār che;
