vantaḥ praviśantyapi tiṣṭhantyapi gacchantyapi ca . asti cejjīvasya moharāgadveṣarūpo bhāvo badhyante‘pi ca . tato‘vadhāryate dravyabandhasya bhāvabandho hetuḥ ..178..
yato rāgapariṇat evābhinaven dravyakarmaṇā badhyate, na vairāgyapariṇataḥ; abhinaven lakṣaṇayogānusāreṇ yathāyogyam . na kevalaṁ praviśanti ciṭṭhaṁti hi praveśānantaraṁ svakīyasthitikālaparyantaṁ tiṣṭhanti hi sphu ṭam . na kevalaṁ tiṣṭhanti jaṁti svakīyodayakālaṁ prāpya phalaṁ datvā gacchanti, bajjhaṁti kevalajñānādyanantacatuṣṭayavyaktirūpamokṣapratipakṣabhūtabandhasya kāraṇaṁ rāgādikaṁ labdhvā punarapi dravyabandha- rūpeṇ badhyante ca . at etadāyātaṁ rāgādipariṇām ev dravyabandhakāraṇamiti . athavā dvitīy- vyākhyānam — praviśanti pradeśabandhāstiṣṭhanti sthitibandhāḥ phalaṁ datvā gacchantyanubhāgabandhā badhyante prakr̥ tibandhā iti ..178.. evaṁ trividhabandhamukhyatayā sūtradvayen tr̥tīyasthalaṁ gatam . ath dravya- bandhakāraṇatvānniścayen rāgādivikalparūpo bhāvabandha ev bandha iti prajñāpayati — ratto baṁdhadi kammaṁ rakto prakārase hotā hai, us prakārase karmapudgalake samūh svayamev parispandavāle hote hue praveś bhī karate haiṁ, rahate bhī haiṁ, aur jāte bhī haiṁ; aur yadi jīvake moh – rāg – dveṣarūp bhāv hoṁ to baṁdhate bhī haiṁ . isaliye niścit hotā hai ki dravyabaṁdhakā hetu bhāvabaṁdh hai ..178..
ab, aisā siddha karate haiṁ ki — rāg pariṇāmamātra jo bhāvabaṁdh hai so dravyabandhakā hetu honese vahī niścayabandha hai : —
anvayārtha : — [raktaḥ ] rāgī ātmā [karma badhnāti ] karma bān̐dhatā hai, [rāgarahitātmā ] rāgarahit ātmā [karmabhiḥ mucyate ] karmoṁse mukta hotā hai; — [eṣaḥ ] yah [jīvānāṁ ] jīvoṁke [baṁdhasamāsaḥ ] bandhakā saṁkṣep [niścayataḥ ] niścayase [jānīhi ] jāno ..179..
ṭīkā : — rāgapariṇat jīv hī navīn dravyakarmase ban̐dhatā hai, vairāgyapariṇat nahīṁ ban̐dhatā;
