na bhavatīti niyamo nāsti, paradravye mamatvarūpamūrcchāparigraheṇ tu niyamen bhavatyeveti ..219.. evaṁ bhāvahiṁsāvyākhyānamukhyatven pañcamasthale gāthāṣaṭaṁk gatam . iti pūrvoktakrameṇ ‘evaṁ paṇamiy siddhe’ ityādyekaviṁśatigāthābhiḥ sthalapañcakenotsargacāritravyākhyānanāmā prathamo‘ntarādhikāraḥ samāptaḥ . ataḥ paraṁ cāritrasya deśakālāpekṣayāpahr̥tasaṁyamarūpeṇāpavādavyākhyānārthaṁ pāṭhakrameṇ triṁśadgāthābhirdvitīyo- ‘ntarādhikāraḥ prārabhyate . tatra catvāri sthalāni bhavanti . tasminprathamasthale nirgranthamokṣamārga- sthāpanāmukhyatven ‘ṇa hi ṇiravekkho cāgo’ ityādi gāthāpañcakam . atra ṭīkāyāṁ gāthātrayaṁ nāsti . tadanantaraṁ sarvasāvadyapratyākhyānalakṣaṇasāmāyikasaṁyamāsamarthānāṁ yatīnāṁ saṁyamaśaucajñānopakaraṇ- nimittamapavādavyākhyānamukhyatven ‘chedo jeṇ ṇa vijjadi’ ityādi sūtratrayam . tadanantaraṁ strīnirvāṇ- nirākaraṇapradhānatven ‘pecchadi ṇa hi ih logaṁ’ ityādyekādaś gāthā bhavanti . tāśca amr̥tacandraṭīkāyāṁ na santi . tataḥ paraṁ sarvopekṣāsaṁyamāsamarthasya tapodhanasya deśakālāpekṣayā kiṁcitsaṁyamasādhakaśarīrasya
bhāvārtha : — aśuddhopayogakā asadbhāv ho, tathāpi kāyakī halanacalanādi kriyā honese parajīvoṁke prāṇoṁkā ghāt ho jātā hai . isaliye kāyaceṣṭāpūrvak paraprāṇoṁke ghātase baṁdh honekā niyam nahīṁ hai; — aśuddhopayogake sadbhāvameṁ honevāle kāyaceṣṭāpūrvak paraprāṇoṁke ghātase to baṁdh hotā hai, aur aśuddhopayogake asadbhāvameṁ honevāle kāyaceṣṭāpūrvak paraprāṇoṁke ghātase baṁdh nahīṁ hotā; isaprakār kāyaceṣṭāpūrvak honevāle paraprāṇoṁke ghātase baṁdhakā honā anaikāntik honese usake chedapanā anaikāntik hai — niyamarūp nahīṁ hai .
jaise bhāvake binā bhī paraprāṇoṁkā ghāt ho jātā hai, usīprakār bhāv na ho tathāpi parigrahakā grahaṇ ho jāy, aisā kabhī nahīṁ ho sakatā . jahān̐ parigrahakā grahaṇ hotā hai vahān̐ aśuddhopayogakā sadbhāv avaśya hotā hī hai . isaliye parigrahase baṁdhakā honā aikāṁtik – niścit – niyamarūp hai . isaliye parigrahake chedapanā aikāntik hai . aisā honese hī param śramaṇ aise arhanta bhagavantoṁne pahalese hī sarva parigrahakā tyāg kiyā hai aur anya śramaṇoṁko bhī pahalese hī sarva parigrahakā tyāg karanā cāhiye ..219..
