hu mohakṣobhavihīnaḥ pariṇāmaḥ . kasya . ātmanaḥ . hu sphu ṭamiti . tathāhi --śuddhacitsvarūpe caraṇaṁ cāritraṁ, tadev cāritraṁ mithyātvarāgādisaṁsaraṇarūpe bhāvasaṁsāre patantaṁ prāṇinamuddhr̥tya nirvikāraśuddhacaitanye dharatīti dharmaḥ . sa ev dharmaḥ svātmabhāvanotthasukhāmr̥taśītajalen kāmakrodhādirūpāgnijanitasya saṁsāraduḥkh- dāhasyopaśamakatvāt śam iti . tataśca śuddhātmaśraddhānarūpasamyaktvasya vināśako darśanamohābhidhāno moh ityucyate . nirvikāraniścalacittavr̥ttirūpacāritrasya vināśakaścāritramohābhidhānaḥ kṣobh ityucyate . tayorvidhvaṁsakatvātsa ev śamo mohakṣobhavihīnaḥ śuddhātmapariṇāmo bhaṇyat ityabhiprāyaḥ ..7.. athābhedanayen dharmapariṇat ātmaiv dharmo bhavatītyāvedayati ---pariṇamadi jeṇ davvaṁ takkāle tammayaṁ ti paṇṇattaṁ pariṇamati yen paryāyeṇ dravyaṁ kartr̥ tatkāle tanmayaṁ bhavatīti prajñaptaṁ yataḥ kāraṇāt, tamhā dhammapariṇado ādā dhammo muṇedavvo tataḥ kāraṇāt dharmeṇ pariṇat ātmaiv dharmo mantavya iti . tadyathā – nijaśuddhātmapariṇatirūpo niścayadharmo bhavati . pañcaparameṣṭhayādibhaktipariṇāmarūpo vyavahār- dharmastāvaducyate . yatasten ten vivakṣitāvivakṣitaparyāyeṇ pariṇataṁ dravyaṁ tanmayaṁ bhavati, tataḥ pūrvoktadharmadvayen pariṇatastaptāyaḥpiṇḍavadabhedanayenātmaiv dharmo bhavatīti jñātavyam . tadapi kasmāt . upādānakāraṇasdraśaṁ hi kāryamiti vacanāt . tacca punarupādānakāraṇaṁ śuddhāśuddhabheden dvidhā . rāgādivikalparahitasvasaṁvedanajñānamāgamabhāṣayā śukladhyānaṁ vā kevalajñānotpattau śuddhopādānakāraṇaṁ bhavati . aśuddhātmā tu rāgādīnāmaśuddhaniścayenāśuddhopādānakāraṇaṁ bhavatīti sūtrārthaḥ . evaṁ cāritrasya ab ātmākī cāritratā (arthāt ātmā hī cāritra hai aisā) niścay karate haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : — [dravyaṁ ] dravya jis samay [yen ] jis bhāvarūpase [pariṇamati ] pariṇaman karatā hai [tatkālaṁ ] us samay [tanmayaṁ ] us may hai [iti ] aisā [prajñaptaṁ ] (jinendra devane) kahā hai; [tasmāt ] isaliye [dharmapariṇataḥ ātmā ] dharmapariṇat ātmāko [dharmaḥ mantavyaḥ ] dharma samajhanā cāhiye ..8..
