matyantavināś iti mohābhāvāt sarvatrāpyanuditarāgadveṣadvaitasya, satatamapi viśuddhadraṣṭijñapti- svabhāvamātmānamanubhavataḥ, śatrubandhusukhaduḥkhapraśaṁsānindāloṣṭakāṁcanajīvitamaraṇāni nirviśeṣamev jñeyatvenākramya jñānātmanyātmanyacalitavr̥tteryatkil sarvataḥ sāmyaṁ tatsiddhāgamajñānatattvārthaśraddhān- saṁyatatvayaugapadyātmajñānayaugapadyasya saṁyatasya lakṣaṇamālakṣaṇīyam ..241..
athedamev siddhāgamajñānatattvārthaśraddhānasaṁyatatvayaugapadyātmajñānayaugapadyasaṁyatatvamaikāgāray- lakṣaṇaśrāmaṇyāparanām mokṣamārgatven samarthayati —
jñānānuṣṭhānarūpanirvikalpasamādhisamutpannanirvikāraparamāhlādaikalakṣaṇasukhāmr̥tapariṇatisvarūpaṁ yatparamasāmyaṁ tadev paramāgamajñānatattvārthaśraddhānasaṁyatatvānāṁ yaugapadyen tathā nirvikalpātmajñānen ca pariṇatatapodhanasya lakṣaṇaṁ jñātavyamiti ..241.. ath yadev saṁyatatapodhanasya sāmyalakṣaṇaṁ bhaṇitaṁ tadev śrāmaṇyāparanāmā abhāvake kāraṇ sarvatra jisase rāgadveṣakā dvait pragaṭ nahīṁ hotā, jo satat viśuddhadarśanajñānasvabhāv ātmākā anubhav karatā hai, aur (isaprakār) śatru – bandhu, sukh – duḥkh, praśaṁsā – nindā, loṣṭa – kāṁcan aur jīvit – maraṇako nirviśeṣayatā hī (antarake binā hī) jñeyarūp jānakar jñānātmak ātmāmeṁ jisakī pariṇati acalit huī hai; us puruṣako vāstavameṁ jo sarvataḥ sāmya hai vah (sāmya) saṁyatakā lakṣaṇ samajhanā cāhiye — ki jis saṁyatake ātmajñān – tattvārthaśraddhān – saṁyatattvake yugapatpanekā aur ātmajñānakā yugapatpanā siddha huā hai ..241..
ab, yah samarthan karate haiṁ ki āgamajñān – tattvārthaśraddhān – saṁyatattvake yugapatpaneke sāth ātmajñānake yugapatpanekī siddhirūp jo yah saṁyatapanā hai vahī mokṣamārga hai, jisakā dūsarā nām ekāgratālakṣaṇavālā śrāmaṇya hai : —
anvayārtha : — [yaḥ tu ] jo [darśanajñānacaritreṣu ] darśan, jñān aur cāritra – [triṣu ] in tīnoṁmeṁ [yugapat ] ek hī sāth [samutthitaḥ ] ārūrḥ hai, vah [aikāgryataḥ ] ekāgratāko prāpta hai . [iti ] isaprakār [mataḥ ] (śāstrameṁ) kahā hai . [tasya ] usake [śrāmaṇyaṁ ] śrāmaṇya [paripūrṇam ] paripūrṇa hai ..242..
