śuddhajīvadravyādidravyajātīnāmiti vyavahitasaṁbandhaḥ . kasmāt . visesado svakīyasvakīyapradeś- kālākāraviśeṣaiḥ saṁkaravyatikaraparihāreṇetyarthaḥ . kiṁc ---yathā chadmasthapuruṣasyātītānāgataparyāyā manasi cintayataḥ pratisphu ranti, yathā ca citrabhittau bāhubalibharatādivyatikrāntarūpāṇi śreṇikatīrthakarādi- bhāvirūpāṇi ca vartamānānīv pratyakṣeṇ dr̥śyante tathā citrabhittisthānīyakevalajñāne bhūtabhāvinaśca paryāyā yugapatpratyakṣeṇ dr̥śyante, nāsti virodhaḥ . yathāyaṁ kevalī bhagavān paradravyaparyāyān paricchittimātreṇ
bhāvārtha : — kevalajñān samasta dravyoṁkī tīnoṁ kālakī paryāyoṁko yugapad jānatā hai . yahān̐ yah praśna ho sakatā hai ki jñān naṣṭa aur anutpanna paryāyoṁko vartamān kālameṁ kaise jān sakatā hai ? usakā samādhān hai ki — jagatameṁ bhī dekhā jātā hai ki alpajña jīvakā jñān bhī naṣṭa aur anutpanna vastuoṁkā ciṁtavan kar sakatā hai, anumānake dvārā jān sakatā hai, tadākār ho sakatā hai; tab phi ra pūrṇa jñān naṣṭa aur anutpanna paryāyoṁko kyoṁ na jān sakegā ? jñānaśakti hī aisī hai ki vah citrapaṭakī bhān̐ti atīt aur anāgat paryāyoṁko bhī jān sakatī hai aur ālekhyatvaśaktikī bhān̐ti, dravyoṁkī jñeyatva śakti aisī hai ki unakī atīt aur anāgat paryāyeṁ bhī jñānameṁ jñeyarūp hotī haiṁ – jñāt hotī haiṁ
dravyoṁkī adbhut jñeyatvaśaktike kāraṇ kevalajñānameṁ samasta dravyoṁkī tīnoṁkālakī paryāyoṁkā ek hī samayameṁ bhāsit honā aviruddha hai ..37..
ab, avidyamān paryāyoṁkī (bhī) kathaṁcit (-kisī prakārase; kisī apekṣāse) vidyamānatā batalāte haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : — [ye paryāyāḥ ] jo paryāyeṁ [hi ] vāstavameṁ [na ev saṁjātāḥ ] utpanna nahīṁ huī haiṁ, tathā [ye ] jo paryāyeṁ [khalu ] vāstavameṁ [bhūtvā naṣṭāḥ ] utpanna hokar naṣṭa ho gaī haiṁ, [te ] ve [asadbhūtāḥ paryāyāḥ ] avidyamān paryāyeṁ [jñānapratyakṣāḥ bhavanti ] jñān pratyakṣa haiṁ ..38..
