taptāyogolānāmivātyantamupāttatr̥uṣhṇānān tadduḥkhavegamasahamānānān vyādhisātmyatāmupagateṣhu ramyeṣhu
viṣhayeṣhu ratirupajāyate . tato vyādhisthānīyatvādindriyāṇān vyādhisātmyasamatvādviṣhayāṇān cha na
chhadmasthānān pāramārthikan saukhyam ..63..
ath yāvadindriyāṇi tāvatsvabhāvādev duḥkhamevan vitarkayati —
jesin visaesu radī tesin dukkhan viyāṇ sabbhāvan .
jai tan ṇa hi sabbhāvan vāvāro ṇatthi visayatthan ..64..
yeṣhān viṣhayeṣhu ratisteṣhān duḥkhan vijānīhi svābhāvam .
yadi tanna hi svabhāvo vyāpāro nāsti viṣhayārtham ..64..
vyādhisthānīyāni, viṣhayāshcha tatpratīkārauṣhadhasthānīyā iti sansāriṇān vāstavan sukhan nāsti ..63.. ath
yāvadindriyavyāpārastāvadduḥkhameveti kathayati — jesin visaesu radī yeṣhān nirviṣhayātīndriy-
paramātmasvarūpaviparīteṣhu viṣhayeṣhu ratiḥ tesin dukkhan viyāṇ sabbhāvan teṣhān bahirmukhajīvānān
nijashuddhātmadravyasamvittisamutpannanirupādhipāramārthikasukhaviparītan svabhāvenaiv duḥkhamastīti vijānīhi .

kiyā huā lohekā golā pānīko shīghra hī sokh letā hai) atyanta tr̥uṣhṇā utpanna huī hai;
us duḥkhake vegako sahan na kar sakanese unhen vyādhike pratikārake samān (-rogamen thoṛāsā
ārām jaisā anubhav karānevāle upachārake samān) ramya viṣhayommen rati utpanna hotī hai .
isaliye indriyān̐ vyādhi samān honese aur viṣhay vyādhike pratikār samān honese chhadmasthoṅke
pāramārthik sukh nahīn hai ..63..
ab, jahān̐ tak indriyān̐ hain vahān̐ tak svabhāvase hī duḥkh hai, aisā nyāyase nishchit
karate hain : —
anvayārtha : — [yeṣhān ] jinhen [viṣhayeṣhu ratiḥ ] viṣhayommen rati hai, [teṣhān ] unhen
[duḥkh ] duḥkh [svābhāvan ] svābhāvik [vijānīhi ] jāno; [hi ] kyoṅki [yadi ] yadi
[tad ] vah duḥkh [svabhāvan na ] svabhāv na ho to [viṣhayārthan ] viṣhayārthamen [vyāpāraḥ ] vyāpār
[na asti ] na ho ..64..
viṣhayo viṣhe rati jemane, duḥkh chhe svabhāvik temane;
jo te na hoy svabhāv to vyāpār nahi viṣhayo viṣhe. 64.
