indriyasukhabhājaneṣhu hi pradhānā divaukasaḥ . teṣhāmapi svābhāvikan na khalu sukhamasti,
pratyut teṣhān svābhāvikan duḥkhamevāvalokyate, yataste pañchendriyātmakasharīrapishāchapīḍayā paravashā
bhr̥uguprapātasthānīyān manognaviṣhayānabhipatanti ..71..
athaivamindriyasukhasya duḥkhatāyān yuktyāvatāritāyāmindriyasukhasādhanībhūtapuṇyanirvartak-
shubhopayogasya duḥkhasādhanībhūtapāpanirvartakāshubhopayogavisheṣhādavisheṣhatvamavatārayati —
ṇaraṇārayatiriyasurā bhajanti jadi dehasambhavan dukkhan .
kih so suho va asuho uvaogo havadi jīvāṇan ..72..
naranārakatiryaksurā bhajanti yadi dehasambhavan duḥkham .
kathan sa shubho vā‘shubh upayogo bhavati jīvānām ..72..
lobhasthānīyasarpachatuṣhkaprasāritavadane dehasthānīyamahāndhakūpe patitaḥ san kashchit puruṣhavisheṣhaḥ, sansār-
sthānīyamahāraṇye mithyātvādikumārge naṣhṭaḥ san mr̥utyusthānīyahastibhayenāyuṣhkarmasthānīye sāṭikavisheṣhe
shuklakr̥iṣhṇapakṣhasthānīyashuklakr̥iṣhṇamūṣhakadvayachhedyamānamūle vyādhisthānīyamadhumakṣhikāveṣhṭite lagnastenaiv
1. bhr̥uguprapāt = atyant duḥkhase ghabarākar ātmaghāt karaneke liye parvatake nirādhār uchcha shikharase giranā .

isaprakār yuktipūrvak indriyasukhako duḥkharūp pragaṭ karake, ab indriyasukhake
sādhanabhūt puṇyako utpanna karanevāle shubhopayogakī, duḥkhake sādhanabhūt pāpako utpanna karanevāle
ashubhopayogase avisheṣhatā pragaṭ karate hain : —
anvayārtha : – [naranārakatiryaksurāḥ ] manuṣhya, nārakī, tiryañch aur dev ( – sabhī)
[yadi ] yadi [dehasambhavan ] dehotpanna [duḥkhan ] duḥkhako [bhajanti ] anubhav karate hain, [jīvānān ]
to jīvoṅkā [saḥ upayogaḥ ] vah (shuddhopayogase vilakṣhaṇ -ashuddha) upayog [shubhaḥ vā
ashubhaḥ ] shubh aur ashubh — do prakārakā [kathan bhavati ] kaise hai ? (arthāt nahīn hai )..72..
