yo hi nāmaitāni sādr̥ushyāstitven sāmānyamanuvrajantyapi svarūpāstitvenāshliṣhṭa- visheṣhāṇi dravyāṇi svaparāvachchhedenāparichchhindannashraddadhāno vā evamev shrāmaṇyenātmānan damayati tasmāchchhuddhopayogalakṣhaṇadharmo‘pi na sambhavatīti nishchinoti – sattāsambaddhe mahāsattāsambandhen sahitān ede etān pūrvoktashuddhajīvādipadārthān . punarapi kimvishiṣhṭān . savisese visheṣhasattāvāntarasattā svakīy- svakīyasvarūpasattā tayā sahitān jo hi ṇev sāmaṇṇe saddahadi yaḥ kartā dravyashrāmaṇye sthito‘pi na shraddhatte
ab, nyāyapūrvak aisā vichār karate hain ki – jinendrokta arthoṅke shraddhān binā dharmalābh (shuddhātmaanubhavarūp dharmaprāpti) nahīn hotā —
anvayārtha : — [yaḥ hi ] jo (jīv) [shrāmaṇye ] shramaṇāvasthāmen [etān sattā- sambaddhān savisheṣhatān ] in 1sattāsanyukta 2savisheṣh padārthoṅkī [na ev shraddadhāti ] shraddhā nahīn karatā, [saḥ ] vah [shramaṇaḥ na ] shramaṇ nahīn hai; [tataḥ dharmaḥ na sambhavati ] usase dharmakā udbhav nahīn hotā (arthāt us shramaṇābhāsake dharma nahīn hotā .) ..91..
ṭīkā : — jo (jīv) in dravyoṅko — ki jo (dravya) 3sādr̥ushya -astitvake dvārā samānatāko dhāraṇ karate hue svarūp – astitvake dvārā visheṣhayukta hain unhen — sva -parake bhedapūrvak na jānatā huā aur shraddhā na karatā huā yon hī (gnān -shraddhāke binā) mātra shramaṇatāse (dravyamunitvase) ātmākā daman karatā hai vah vāstavamen shramaṇ nahīn hai; isaliye, jaise jise
shrāmaṇyamān sattāmayī savisheṣh ā dravyo taṇī shraddhā nahi, te shramaṇ nā; temānthī dharmodbhav nahīn. 91.
