ath jīvasya dravyatvenāvasthitatve‘pi paryāyairanavasthitatvan dyotayati — jāyadi ṇev ṇa ṇassadi khaṇabhaṅgasamubbhave jaṇe koī .
ih tāvanna kashchijjāyate na mriyate cha . ath cha manuṣhyadevatiryaṅnārakātmako jīvalokaḥ pratikṣhaṇapariṇāmitvādutsaṅgitakṣhaṇabhaṅgotpādaḥ . na cha vipratiṣhiddhametat, sambhavavilayayorekatva- komalashītalanirmalādisvabhāvan na labhate, tathāyan jīvo‘pi vr̥ukṣhasthānīyakarmodayapariṇataḥ sanparamāhlādaik- lakṣhaṇasukhāmr̥utāsvādanairmalyādisvakīyaguṇasamūhan na labhat iti ..118.. ath jīvasya dravyeṇ nityatve‘pi paryāyeṇ vinashvaratvan darshayati – jāyadi ṇev ṇa ṇassadi jāyate naiv na nashyati dravyārthikanayen . kva . khaṇabhaṅgasamubbhave jaṇe koī kṣhaṇabhaṅgasamudbhave jane ko‘pi . kṣhaṇan kṣhaṇan prati svabhāvakī anupalabdhi hai, karmādik anya kisī kāraṇase nahīn . ‘karma jīvake svabhāvakā parābhav karatā hai’ aisā kahanā to upachār kathan hai; paramārthase aisā nahīn hai ..118..
ab, jīvakī dravyarūpase 1avasthitatā hone par bhī paryāyonse anavasthitatā (anityatā -asthiratā) prakāshate hain : —
anvayārtha : — [kṣhaṇabhaṅgasamudbhave jane ] pratikṣhaṇ utpād aur vināshavāle jīvalokamen [kashchit ] koī [na ev jāyate ] utpanna nahīn hotā aur [na nashyati ] na naṣhṭa hotā hai; [hi ] kyoṅki [yaḥ bhavaḥ saḥ vilayaḥ ] jo utpād hai vahī vināsh hai; [sambhav -vilayau iti tau nānā ] aur utpād tathā vināsh, isaprakār ve anek (bhinna) bhī hain ..119..
ṭīkā : — pratham to yahān̐ na koī janma letā hai aur na maratā hai (arthāt is lokamen koī na to utpanna hotā hai aur na nāshako prāpta hotā hai ) . aur (aisā hone par bhī) manuṣhya- dev -tiryañch -nārakātmak jīvalok pratikṣhaṇ pariṇāmī honese kṣhaṇ -kṣhaṇamen honevāle vināsh aur
kāraṇ janam te nāsh chhe; vaḷī janma nāsh vibhinna chhe. 119.
