kidh tamhi ṇatthi muchchhā ārambho vā asañjamo tassa .
tadh paradavvammi rado kadhamappāṇan pasādhayadi ..221.. pūrvakaparigrahatyāgo bhavati tadā chittashuddhirbhavatyev, khyātipūjālābhanimittatyāge tu na bhavati ..220.. ath tamev parigrahatyāgan draḍhayati —
geṇhadi va chelakhaṇḍan gr̥uhṇāti vā chelakhaṇḍan vastrakhaṇḍan, bhāyaṇan bhikṣhābhājanan vā atthi tti bhaṇidan astīti bhaṇitamāste . kva . ih sutte ih vivakṣhitāgamasūtre jadi yadi chet . so chattālambo havadi kahan nirālambanaparamātmatattvabhāvanāshūnyaḥ san sa puruṣho bahirdravyālambanarahitaḥ kathan bhavati, na kathamapi; vā aṇārambho niḥkriyanirārambhanijātmatattvabhāvanārahitatven nirārambho vā kathan bhavati, kintu sārambha ev; iti prathamagāthā . vatthakkhaṇḍan duddiyabhāyaṇan vastrakhaṇḍan dugdhikābhājanan aṇṇan cha geṇhadi anyachcha gr̥uhṇāti kambalamr̥udushayanādikan yadi chet . tadā kin bhavati . ṇiyadan vijjadi pāṇārambho nijashuddhachaitanya- ashuddhopayogarūp antaraṅg chhedakā tyāg nahīn hotā aur usake sadbhāvamen shuddhopayogamūlak kaivalya (mokṣha) kī upalabdhi nahīn hotī . (isase aisā kahā gayā hai ki) ashuddhopayogarūp antaraṅg chhedake niṣhedharūp prayojanakī upekṣhā rakhakar vihit (-ādesh) kiyā jānevālā upadhikā niṣhedh vah antaraṅg chhedakā hī niṣhedh hai ..220..
