kevaladeho samaṇo dehe ṇa mam tti rahidaparikammo .
eṣhaṇamāhārākāṅkṣhā yasya sa bhavatyaneṣhaṇaḥ, tan pi tavo tasya tadev nishchayen nirāhārātmabhāvanā- rūpamupavāsalakṣhaṇan tapaḥ, tappaḍichchhagā samaṇā tatpratyeṣhakāḥ shramaṇāḥ, tannishchayopavāsalakṣhaṇan tapaḥ pratīchchhanti tatpratyeṣhakāḥ shramaṇāḥ . punarapi kin yeṣhām . aṇṇan nijaparamātmatattvādanyadbhinnan heyam . kim . aṇesaṇan annasyāhārasyaiṣhaṇan vāchchhā annaiṣhaṇam . kathambhūtam . bhikkhan bhikṣhāyān bhavan bhaikṣhyan . adh ath aho, te samaṇā aṇāhārā te anashanādiguṇavishiṣhṭāḥ shramaṇā āhāragrahaṇe‘pyanāhārā bhavanti .. tathaiv cha niḥkriyaparamātmānan ye bhāvayanti, pañchasamitisahitā viharanti cha, te vihāre‘pyavihārā bhavantītyarthaḥ ..227.. ath tadevānāhārakatvan prakārāntareṇ prāh – kevaladeho kevaladeho‘nyaparigraharahito yuktāhārīpaneke kāraṇ unake svabhāv tathā parabhāvake nimittase bandha nahīn hotā .
isaprakār (jaise yuktāhārī sākṣhāt anāhārī hī hai, aisā kahā gayā hai usīprakār), (1) svayam avihārasvabhāvavālā honese aur (2) samitishuddha (-īyāsamitise shuddha aise) vihāravālā honese yuktavihārī (-yuktavihāravālā shramaṇ) sākṣhāt avihārī hī hai — aisā anukta hone par bhī (-gāthāmen nahīn kahā jāne par bhī) samajhanā chāhiye ..227..
ab, (shramaṇake) yuktāhārīpanā kaise siddha hotā hai so upadesh karate hain : —
anvayārtha : — [kevaladehaḥ shramaṇaḥ ] kevaladehī (-jisake mātra deharūp parigrah vartatā hai, aise) shramaṇane [dehe ] sharīramen bhī [na mam iti ] ‘merā nahīn hai’ aisā samajhakar [rahitaparikarmā ] 1parikarma rahit vartate hue, [ātmanaḥ ] apane ātmākī [shaktin ] shaktiko
