sanyamasādhanīkr̥utasharīrapātraḥ krameṇ nishchalaniruddhapañchendriyadvāratayā samuparatakāyavāṅmanovyāpāro bhūtvā chidvr̥utteḥ paradravyachaṅṅkra maṇanimittamatyantamātmanā samamanyonyasamvalanādekībhūtamapi svabhāvabhedātparatven nishchityātmanaiv kushalo malla iv sunirbharan niṣhpīḍay niṣhpīḍay kaṣhāyachakramakrameṇ jīvan tyājayati, sa khalu sakalaparadravyashūnyo‘pi vishuddhadr̥ushignaptimātra- svabhāvabhūtāvasthāpitātmatattvopajātanityanishchalavr̥uttitayā sākṣhātsanyat ev syāt . tasyaiv chāgamagnānatattvārthashraddhānasanyatatvayaugapadyātmagnānayaugapadyan siddhayati ..240.. shraddhānasanyatatvānān trayāṇān yatsavikalpan yaugapadyan tathā nirvikalpātmagnānan cheti dvayoḥ sambhavan darshayati — pañchasamido vyavahāreṇ pañchasamitibhiḥ samitaḥ samvr̥utaḥ pañchasamitaḥ, nishchayen tu svasvarūpe samyagito gataḥ pariṇataḥ samitaḥ . tigutto vyavahāreṇ manovachanakāyanirodhatrayeṇ guptaḥ triguptaḥ, nishchayen svasvarūpe guptaḥ pariṇataḥ . pañchendiyasamvuḍo vyavahāreṇ pañchendriyaviṣhayavyāvr̥uttyā samvr̥utaḥ pañchendriyasamvr̥utaḥ, nishchayen vātīndriyasukhasvādarataḥ . jidakasāo vyavahāreṇ krodhādikaṣhāyajayen jitakaṣhāyaḥ, nishchayen chākaṣhāyātmabhāvanārataḥ . dansaṇaṇāṇasamaggo atra darshanashabden nijashuddhātmashraddhānarūpan samyagdarshanan grāhyam, gnānashabden tu svasamvedanagnānamiti; tābhyān samagro darshanagnānasamagraḥ . samaṇo so sañjado bhaṇido sa evaṅguṇavishiṣhṭaḥ shramaṇ sanyat iti bhaṇitaḥ . at etadāyātan – vyavahāreṇ yadbahirviṣhaye vyākhyānan kr̥utan ten savikalpan samyagdarshanagnānachāritratrayayaugapadyan grāhyam; abhyantaravyākhyānen tu nirvikalpātmagnānan grāhyamiti savikalpayaugapadyan nirvikalpātmagnānan cha ghaṭat iti ..240.. athāgamagnānatattvārthashraddhān- sanyatatvalakṣhaṇen vikalpatrayayaugapadyen tathā nirvikalpātmagnānen cha yukto yo‘sau sanyatastasya kin lakṣhaṇamityupadishati . ityupadishati ko‘rthaḥ iti pr̥uṣhṭe pratyuttaran dadāti . evan prashnottarapātanikāprastāve aur anubhav karatā huā ātmāmen hī nityanishchal vr̥uttiko ichchhatā huā, sanyamake sādhanarūp banāye hue sharīrapātrako pān̐ch samitiyonse aṅkushit pravr̥utti dvārā pravartit karatā huā, kramashaḥ pañchendriyoṅke nishchal nirodh dvārā jisake kāy – vachan – manakā vyāpār virāmako prāpta huā hai aisā hokar, chidvr̥uttike liye paradravyamen bhramaṇakā nimitta jo kaṣhāyasamūh vah ātmāke sāth anyonya milanake kāraṇ atyanta ekarūp ho jāne par bhī svabhāvabhedake kāraṇ use pararūpase nishchit karake ātmāse hī kushal mallakī bhān̐ti atyanta 1mardan kar karake akramase use mār ḍālatā hai, vah puruṣh vāstavamen, sakal paradravyase shūnya hone par bhī 2vishuddha darshanagnānamātra svabhāvarūpase rahanevāle ātmatattva (-svadravya) men nityanishchal pariṇati utpanna honese, sākṣhāt sanyat hī hai . aur use hī āgamagnān – tattvārthashraddhān – sanyatattvake yugapatpanekā tathā ātmagnānakā yugapatpanā siddha hotā hai ..240..
