ṭīkāḥ– ‘खलु रागादिनां अप्रादुर्भावः इति अहिंसा भवति’– nishchayathī rāgādi bhāvonī utpatti na thavī eṭalā mātrathī ahinsā thāy chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– potānā shuddhopayogarūp prāṇono ghāt rāgādi bhāvothī thāy chhe. māṭe rāgādi bhāvonā abhāv te ja ahinsā. ādi shabdathī dveṣh, moh, kām, krodh, mān, māyā, lobh, hāsya shok, jugupsā, pramādādi samasta vibhāvabhāv jāṇavā. enān lakṣhaṇ kahīe chhīe. potāne kāīk īṣhṭa jāṇī prītirūp pariṇām tene rāg kahīe, potāne aniṣhṭa jāṇī aprītirūp pariṇām tene dveṣh kahīe. paradravyamān mamatvarūp pariṇām tene moh kahīe, maithunarūp pariṇāmane kām kahīe, āṇe ayogya karyun em jāṇī parane duḥkhadāyak pariṇām tene krodh kahīe, bījā karatān potāne moṭo mānavo tene mān kahīe, man vachan kāyāmān ekatāno abhāv tene māyā kahīe, paradravya sāthe sambandh karavānī īchchhārūp pariṇāmane lobh kahīe, bhalī athavā būrī cheṣhṭā joīne vikasitarūp pariṇām te hāsya kahīe, potāne duḥkhadāyak jāṇī ḍararūp pariṇām tene bhay kahīe, potāne īṣhṭano abhāv thatān ārtarūp pariṇām tene shok kahīe, glānirūp pariṇāmane jugupsā kahīe, kalyāṇakārī kāryamān anādarane pramād kahīe.– ītyādi samasta vibhāvabhāv hinsānā paryāy chhe. te na thāy e ja ahinsā.
‘तेषामेव उत्पत्तिः हिंसा’– te rāgādibhāvonun ūpajavun te ja hinsā. ‘इति जिनागमस्य संक्षेपः’– evun jain siddhāntanun rahasya chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– jain siddhāntano vistār to ghaṇo ghaṇo chhe, paṇ sarvanun rahasya saṅkṣhepamān āṭalun ja chhe ke dharmanun lakṣhaṇ ahinsā. rāgādi bhāvono abhāv thavo te ahinsā. tethī jem bane tem, jeṭalo bane teṭalo rāgādi bhāvono nāsh karavo. te ja anya granthomān kahyun chhe– रागादीणामणुप्पा अहिंसा गत्तति देसि दंसमए ते सिंचे दुप्पत्ती हिंसेति जिणेहि णिदिठ्ठं।।

ṭīkāḥ– ‘अपि युक्ताचरणस्य सतः रागाद्यावेशमन्तरेण प्राणव्यपरोपणात् जातु हिंसा न हि भवति’– nishchayathī yogya prayatnapūrvak chhe ācharaṇ jemanun evā je sant puruṣh tene rāgādi bhāvonā pravesh vinā. kevaḷ parajīvanā prāṇ pīḍavāthī ja kadī hinsā thatī nathī.
bhāvārthaḥ– mahāpuruṣh dhyānamān līn chhe athavā gamanādimān sāvadhānatāthī yatnapūrvak pravarte chhe ane kadāch enā sharīranā sambandhathī koī jīvanā prāṇ pīḍāyā topaṇ ene hinsāno doṣh nathī. kemake enā pariṇāmamān kaṣhāy hato nahi. tethī parajīvanā prāṇane pīḍā thāy topaṇ hinsā nām pāme nahi. māṭe ativyāpti doṣh lāge chhe.
āgaḷ avyāpti doṣh batāve chheḥ–
व्युत्थानावस्थायां रागादीनां वशप्रवृत्तायाम्।
म्रियतां जीवो मा वा धावत्यग्रे ध्रुवं हिंसा।। ४६।।
anvayārthaḥ– [रागादीनां] rāgādibhāvonā [वशप्रवृत्तायाम्] vashe pravartelī [व्युत्थानावस्थायां] ayatnāchārarūp pramād avasthāmān [जीवः] jīv [म्रियतां] maro [वा] athavā [मा ‘म्रियतां’] na maro, [हिंसा] hinsā to [ध्रुवं] nishchayathī [अग्रे] āgaḷ ja [धावति] doḍe chhe.

prashnaḥ– hinsāno artha to ghāt karavo te chhe, parajīvanā prāṇano ghāt karyā vinā hinsā nām kevī rīte pāme? teno uttar āgaḷ kahe chheḥ–
पश्चाज्जायेत न वा हिंसा प्राण्यन्तराणां तु।। ४७।।
anvayārthaḥ– [यस्मात्] kāraṇ ke [आत्मा] jīv [सकषायः सन्] kaṣhāyabhāvo sahit hovāthī [प्रथमं] pahelān [आत्मना] potā vaḍe ja [आत्मानं] potāne [हन्ति] haṇe chhe [तु] ane [पश्चात्] pachhīthī bhale [प्राण्यन्तराणां] bījā jīvothī [हिंसा] hinsā [जायेत] thāy [वा] ke [न] na thāy.
arthaḥ– ‘यस्मात् सकषायः सन् आत्मा प्रथमं आत्मना आत्मानं हन्ति तु पश्चात् प्राण्यन्तराणां हिंसा जायेत वा न जायेत’– kāraṇ ke kaṣhāyabhāvo sahit thayelo ātmā pahelān potāthī ja potāne haṇe chhe, pachhī anya prāṇī–jīvono ghāt thāv ke na thāv.
bhāvārthaḥ– hinsā nām to ghātanun ja chhe, paṇ ghāt be prakāranā chhe. ek ātmaghāt, bījo paraghāt. jyāre ā ātmā kaṣhāyabhāve pariṇamyo ane potānun būrun karyun tyāre ātmaghāt to pahelān ja thayo. tyāre pachhī bījā jīvanun āyuṣhya pūrun thayun hoy athavā pāpano uday hoy to teno paṇ ghāt thāy. tun teno ghāt karī shakato nathī kāraṇ ke teno ghāt to tenā karmane ādhīn chhe. āne to ānā bhāvano doṣh chhe. ā rīte pramādasahit yogamān ātmaghātanī apekṣhāe to hinsā nām pāmyo chhe. 47.
have paraghātanī apekṣhāe paṇ hinsāno sadbhāv batāve chheḥ–

bhāvārthaḥ– parajīvanā ghātarūp je hinsā chhe te be prakāranī chhe. ek aviramaṇarūp ane ek pariṇamanarūp.
1. aviramaṇarūp hinsāḥ– je vakhate jīv parajīvanā ghātamān to pravartato nathī, bījā ja koī kāmamān pravarte chhe paṇ hinsāno tyāg karyo nathī. tenun udāharaṇaḥ– jem koīne haritakāyano tyāg nathī ane te koī vakhate haritakāyanun bhakṣhaṇ paṇ karato nathī, tem jene hinsāno tyāg to nathī ane te koī vakhate hinsāmān pravartato paṇ nathī parantu antaraṅgamān hinsā karavānā astitvabhāvano nāsh karyo nathī tene aviramaṇarūp hinsā kahīe chhīe.
2. pariṇamanarūp hinsāḥ– vaḷī je vakhate jīv parajīvanā ghātamān manathī, vachanathī ke kāyathī pravarte tene pariṇamanarūp hinsā kahīe. ā be bhed hinsānā kahyā. te banne bhedamān pramād sahit yoganun astitva chhe. ‘तस्मात्प्रमत्तयोगे नित्यं प्राणव्यपरोपणमं्’– tethī pramād sahitanā yogamān hammeshā parajīvanī apekṣhāe paṇ prāṇaghātano sadbhāv āvyo. eno abhāv to tyāre ja thāy jyāre ā jīv parahinsāno tyāg karī pramādarūp na pariṇame tyānsudhī hinsāno to abhāv koīpaṇ prakāre thaī shake nahi. 48.
prashnaḥ– jo pramādarūp potānā pariṇāmothī hinsā ūpaje chhe to bāhya parigrahādino tyāg shā māṭe karāvavāmān āve chhe? teno uttar āgaḷ kahe chheḥ–

bhāvārthaḥ– pariṇāmonī ashuddhatā vinā paravastunā nimitte anshamātra paṇ hinsāno doṣh lāgato nathī. nishchayathī to em ja chhe topaṇ pariṇāmanī shuddhi māṭe ‘हिंसायतननिवृत्तिः कार्या’– hinsānā sthān je parigrahādi teno tyāg avashya karavo.
bhāvārthaḥ– je pariṇām thāy chhe te koī vastunun ālamban pāmīne thāy chhe. jo subhaṭanī mātāne subhaṭ putra vidyamān hoy to to evā pariṇām thāy ke ‘hun subhaṭane mārun,’ paṇ je vandhyā chhe, jene putra ja nathī to evā pariṇām kevī rīte thāy ke hun vandhyānā putrane haṇun? māṭe jo bāhya parigrahādinun nimitta hoy to tenun avalamban pāmīne kaṣhāyarūp pariṇām thāy. jo parigrahādikano tyāg karyo hoy to nimitta vinā, avalamban vinā kevī rīte pariṇām ūpaje? māṭe potānā pariṇāmonī shuddhatā māṭe bāhya kāraṇarūp je parigrahādik teno paṇ tyāg karavo. 49.
āgaḷ ek pakṣhavāḷāno niṣhedh kare chheḥ–
नाशयति करणचरणं स बहिःकरणालसो बालः।। ५०।।
anvayārthaḥ– [यः] je jīv [निश्चयं] yathārtha nishchay svarūpane [अबुध्यमानः] jāṇyā vinā [तमेव] tene ja [निश्चयतः] nishchay shraddhāthī [संश्रयते] aṅgīkār kare chhe. [स] te [बालः] mūrkha [बहिःकरणालसः] bāhya kriyāmān āḷasu chhe ane [करणचरणं] bāhyakriyārūp ācharaṇano [नाशयति] nāsh kare chhe.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘यः निश्चयं अबुध्यमानः निश्चयतः तमेव संश्रयते सः बालः करणचरणं नाशयति’– je jīv yathārtha nishchayanā svarūpane to jāṇatā nathī, jāṇyā vinā mātra nishchayanā shraddhānathī antaraṅgane ja hinsā jāṇī aṅgīkār kare chhe te agnānī dayānā ācharaṇano nāsh kare chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– je koī kevaḷ nishchayano shraddhānī thaīne em kahe chhe ke ame parigrah rākhyo athavā bhraṣhṭāchārarūp pravartīe to shun thayun? amārā pariṇām sārā

joīe. em kahīne svachchhande pravarte chhe te jīve dayānā ācharaṇano nāsh karyo. bāhyamān to nirday thayo ja ane antaraṅg nimitta pāmī pariṇām ashuddha thāy ja thāy; tethī te antaraṅganī apekṣhāe paṇ nirday thayo. kevo chhe te jīv? bāhya dravyarūp anya jīvanī dayāmān āḷasu chhe, pramādī chhe athavā ā sūtrano bījī rīte artha karīe chhīe. ‘यः निश्चयं अबुध्यमानः तमेव निश्चयतः संश्रयते सः बालः करुणा आचरणं नाशयति’– je jīv nishchayanayanā svarūpane nahi jāṇīne vyavahārarūp je bāhya parigrahādino tyāg chhe tene ja nishchayathī mokṣhamārga jāṇī aṅgīkār kare chhe te jīv shuddhopayogarūp je ātmānī dayā teno nāsh kare chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– je jīv nishchayanayanun svarūp to jāṇe nahi, kevaḷ vyavahāramātra bāhya parigrahādino tyāg kare, upavāsādikane aṅgīkār kare, e pramāṇe bāhya vastumān hey– upādeyabuddhirūpe pravarte chhe, te jīv potānā svarūp anubhavarūp shuddhopayogamay ahinsā dharmano nāsh kare chhe. kevo chhe te jīv? ‘बहिः करणालसः’– udyam vaḍe teṇe ashubhopayogano to tyāg karyo paṇ bāhya parajīvanī dayārūp dharma tenā ja sādhanamān āḷasu thaīne besī rahyo, shuddhopayog bhūmikāmān chaḍhavāno udyam karato nathī. ā rīte ekāntapakṣhavāḷāno niṣhedh karyo. āgaḷ dravyahinsā ane bhāvahinsānī apekṣhāe bhinna bhinna prakāranā bhaṅg batāve chhe. pa0.
tenā āṭh sūtra kahe chheḥ–
कृत्वाप्यपरो हिंसा हिंसाफलभाजनं न स्यात्।। ५१।।
anvayārthaḥ– [हि] kharekhar [एकः] ek jīv [हिंसां] hinsā [अविधाय अपि] na karavā chhatān paṇ [हिंसाफलभाजनं] hinsānā phaḷane bhogavavāne pātra [भवति] bane chhe ane [अपरः] bījo [हिंसा कृत्वा अपि] hinsā karīne paṇ [हिंसाफलभाजनं] hinsānun phaḷ bhogavavāne pātra [न स्यात्] thato nathī.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘हि एकः हिंसां अविधाय अपि हिंसाफलभाजनं भवति’ nishchayathī koī ek jīv hinsā na karavā chhatān paṇ hinsānun phaḷ bhogavavāne pātra bane chhe.

bhāvārthaḥ– koī jīve bāhya hinsā to thoḍī ja karī, paṇ pramādī thaīne kaṣhāyarūp ghaṇo pariṇamyo tethī udayakāḷe hinsānun phaḷ ghaṇun pāme chhe. ‘अन्यस्य महाहिंसा परिपाके स्वल्पफला भवति’–bījā koī jīvane moṭī hinsā udayakāḷe thoḍun ja phaḷ āpe chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– koī jīve koī kāraṇ pāmīne bāhya hinsā to ghaṇī karī, paṇ te kriyāmān udāsīn rahyo, kaṣhāy thoḍo karyo tethī udayakāḷe hinsānun phaḷ paṇ thoḍun ja pāme chhe. pa2.

आरभ्य कर्तुमकृतापि फलति हिंसानुभावेन ।। ५४।।

ṭīkāḥ– ‘च हिंसा प्राक् एव फलति’– koī hinsā pahelān phaḷe chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– koī jīve hinsāno vichār karyo hato paṇ te banī shakī to nahi paṇ te vichārathī je karma bāndhyun hatun tenun phaḷ udayamān āvyun. pachhī hinsāno je vichār karyo hato te kārya bāhyamān banyun. ā rīte hinsā pahelān ja phaḷ āve chhe.
‘क्रियमाणा फलति’–vaḷī koī hinsā karatān ja phaḷe chhe. bhāvārthaḥ– koīe hinsāno vichār karyo tenāthī je karmabandh karyo te je samaye udayamān āvyo te ja vakhate vichār pramāṇe bāhya hinsā banī. ā rīte hinsā karatān ja tenun phaḷ āve chhe.
‘कृता अपि च फलति’–vaḷī koī hinsā karyā pachhī phaḷ āpe chhe bhāvārthaḥ– koīe hinsāno vichār karyo, vichār pramāṇe bāhya hinsā paṇ karī. tyār pachhī te hinsānun phaḷ udayamān āvyun. ā rīte karyā pachhī hinsā phaḷe chhe.

‘हिंसा कर्तुम् आरभ्य अपि फलति’– koīe hinsā karavānī sharūāt karī paṇ hinsā pachhī na karī te paṇ phaḷe chhe. bhāvārthaḥ– koīe hinsāno vichār karī hinsā karavāmān lāgyo. pachhī kāraṇ pāmīne hinsā na karī. evī hinsā paṇ phaḷ āpe chhe. ā rīte phaḷ thavānun kāraṇ kahe chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘हिंसां एकः करोति फलभागिनः बहवः भवन्ति’– kayārek hinsā to ek māṇas kare chhe ane phaḷ anek māṇaso bhogave chhe. tenun udāharaṇaḥ– chorane (prāṇaghātakarūp shikṣhāmān) ek chaṇḍāḷ ja māre chhe paṇ dekhanārā badhā raudra pariṇām karī pāpanā bhoktā thāy chhe. ‘हिंसां बहवः विदधति एकः हिंसाफलभुक् भवति’– kayāṅk hinsā to ghaṇā puruṣho kare paṇ rājā svāmitvabuddhi karīne prerak thāy chhe tethī te badhī hinsānā phaḷano bhoktā thāy chhe. pap.

bhāvārthaḥ– koīne antaraṅgamān to koī jīvanun ahit karavānā pariṇām chhe, paṇ bāhyamān teno vishvās utpanna karāvavā māṭe bhalun kare chhe athavā būrun kare topaṇ tenā puṇyanā udayathī ānā nimitte tenun bhalun thaī jāy chhe. tyān bahāramān to tenī dayā karī paṇ antaraṅgamān pariṇāmavaḍe to hinsā chhe māṭe hinsānun phaḷ āpe chhe, bījun phaḷ āpatī nathī.
bhāvārthaḥ– koīnā antaraṅgamān dayānā bhāvathī te yatna karīne pravarte chhe chhatān tene tatkāl pīḍā thāy chhe. athavā yatna karavā chhatān enā ja nimitte tenā prāṇaghāt thayā. tyān bahāramān to tenī hinsā ja thaī, paṇ antaraṅg pariṇāmavaḍe ahinsānun phaḷ pāme chhe. pa6–pa7.
गुरवो भवन्ति शरणं प्रबुद्धनयचक्रसञ्चाराः।। ५८।।

3. hinsā–hinsyane pīḍā upajāvavī athavā temano ghāt karavo te hinsā chhe. tenun varṇan āgaḷ karyun chhe.
4. hinsāphaḷ–hinsāthī je kāī phaḷ thāy tene hinsāphaḷ kahe chhe. ā lokamān to hinsak jīv nindā pāme chhe, rājā vaḍe daṇḍ pāme chhe, jenī e hinsā karavā īchchhe chhe tene jo lāg āve to āno ghāt kare chhe. vaḷī paralokamān narakādi gati pāme chhe, tyān sharīranā nānā prakāranā chhedan–bhedanādi ane nānā prakāranī mānasik vedanā pāme chhe. narakanun varṇan koṇ kayān sudhī lakhe! sarva duḥkhano ja samudāy chhe. tiryañchādinun duḥkh pratyakṣha ja bhāse chhe. e badhun hinsānun phaḷ chhe. ā rīte hinsyane jāṇī pote tene ghāte nahī, hinsakane jāṇī pote tevo na thāy, hinsāne jāṇī teno tyāg kare ane hinsānun phaḷ jāṇī tenāthī bhayabhīt rahe. māṭe ā chār bhed jāṇavā. 60.
āgaḷ je jīv hinsāno tyāg karavā īchchhe chhe teṇe pahelān shun karavun te kahe chheḥ–
हिंसाव्युपरतिकामैर्मोक्तव्यानि प्रथममेव।। ६१।।

विस्मृतधर्मा जीवो र्हिंसामविशङ्कमाचरति।। ६२।।
anvayārthaḥ– [मद्यं] dārū [मनो मोहयति] manane mohit kare chhe, ane [मोहितचित्तः] mohit chitta puruṣh [तु] to [धर्मम्] dharmane [विस्मरति] bhūlī jāy chhe tathā [विस्मृतधर्मा] dharmane bhūlī gayelo [जीवः] jīv [अविशङ्कम्] nīḍar thaīne bedhaḍak [हिंसाम्] hinsā [आचरति] āchare chhe.

āgaḷ madirāne hinsānun sākṣhāt kāraṇ kahe chheḥ–
मद्यं भजतां तेषां हिंसा संजायतेऽवश्यम्।। ६३।।
anvayārthaḥ– [च] ane [मद्यं] madirā [बहूनां] ghaṇā [रसजानां जीवानां] rasathī utpanna thayelā jīvonun [योनिः] utpattisthān [इष्यते] mānavāmān āve chhe. tethī je [मद्यं] madirānun [भजतां] sevan kare chhe tene [तेषां] te jīvonī [हिंसा] hinsā [अवश्यम्] avashya ja [संजायते] thāy chhe.

मांसं
anvayārthaḥ– [यस्मात्] kāraṇ ke [प्राणिविघातात् विना] prāṇīonā ghāt vinā [मांसस्य] mānsanī [उत्पत्तिः] utpatti [न इष्यते] mānī shakātī nathī [तस्मात्] te kāraṇe [मांसं भजतः] mānsabhakṣhī puruṣhane [अनिवारिता] anivārya [हिंसा] hinsā [प्रसरति] phelāy chhe.

सातत्येनोत्पादस्तज्जातीनां निगोतानाम्।। ६७।।
anvayārthaḥ– [आमासु] kāchī [पक्वासु] pākī [अपि] tathā [विपच्यमानासु] randhātī [अपि] paṇ [मांसपेशीषु] mānsapeshīomān [तज्जातीनां] te ja jātinā [निगोतानाम्] sammūrchhan jīvono [सातत्येन] nirantar [उत्पादः] utpād thayā kare chhe.

mānsamān to nirantar jīv ūpajī ekaṭhā thayā hatā. āṇe te mānsanun bhakṣhaṇ karyun athavā sparsha karyo tethī te jīvonī param hinsā ūpajī, māṭe mānsano tyāg avashya karavo. bījī paṇ je vastuomān ghaṇā jīvonī utpatti thāy chhe te badhī vastu tyāgavā yogya chhe. 68.
anvayārthaḥ– [लोके] ā lokamān [मधुशकलमपि] madhanun ek ṭīpun paṇ [प्रायः] ghaṇun karīne [मधुकरहिंसात्मकं] mākhīonī hinsārūp [भवति] hoy chhe māṭe [यः] je [मूढधीकः] mūrkhabuddhi manuṣhya [मधु भजति] madhanun bhakṣhaṇ kare chhe. [सः] te [अत्यन्तं हिंसकः] atyant hinsā karanār thāy chhe. 69.
तत्रापि भवति हिंसा तदाश्रयप्राणिनां घातात्।। ७०।।

āgaḷ pāñch udumbar phaḷanā doṣh dekhāḍe chheḥ–

ṭīkāḥ– ‘तु पुनः यानि शुष्काणि कालोच्छिन्नत्रसाणि भवेयुः तान्यपि भजतः हिंसा स्यात्’– vaḷī je udumbarādi pāñch phaḷo kāḷ pāmīne trasajīv rahit sukāī gayā hoy topaṇ te khānārane hinsā thāy chhe. kevī hinsā thāy chhe? ‘विशिष्ट रागादिरूपा’– jemān visheṣh rāgabhāv thayo chhe tevā svarūpavāḷī. jo adhik rāg na hot to āvī nindya vastu shā māṭe aṅgīkār karat? māṭe jyān adhik rāgabhāv thayo te ja hinsā. jem koīe līlotarī na khādhī paṇ te vastunā rāgabhāvathī tene sūkavīne khādhī. jo rāg na hoy to shā māṭe evo prayās kare?
prashnaḥ– sūkī vastumān jo doṣh hoy to anna shā māṭe khāīe chhīe?
uttaraḥ– anna nindya nathī. vaḷī enā rāgabhāv vinā sahaj pravr̥uttithī te sūkāy chhe. vaḷī tenun bhakṣhaṇ paṇ sāmānya peṭ bharavānā nimitte thāy chhe, kāī visheṣh rāg hovānun kāraṇ nathī. ahīn to visheṣharūp rāgabhāvanun thavun te ja hinsā –em batāvavāmān āve chhe. 73.

āgaḷ ā kathan saṅkoche chheḥ–
जिनधर्मदेशनाया भवन्ति पात्राणि शुद्धधियः।। ७४।।
anvayārthaḥ– [अनिष्टदुस्तरदुरितायतनानि] duḥkhadāyak, dustar ane pāpanun sthān [अमूनि] evā [अष्टौ] āṭh padārthono [परिवर्ज्य] parityāg karīne [शुद्धधियः] nirmaḷ buddhivāḷā puruṣh [जिनधर्मदेशनायाः] jainadharmanā upadeshane [पात्राणि] pātra [भवन्ति] thāy chhe.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘अनिष्टदुस्तरदुरितआयतनानि अमूनि अष्टौ परिवर्ज्य शुद्धधियः जिनधर्मदेशनायाः पात्राणि भवन्ति’– mahāduḥkhadāyak, sahelāīthī jeno pār pamāto nathī evī, mahāpāpanā sthānarūp je ā āṭh vastuo chhe tene khāvāthī mahāpāp ūpaje chhe. tethī ene sarvathā chhoḍīne, nirmaḷ buddhivāḷā thaīne, jainadharmanā upadeshane pātra thavāy chhe. pahelān eno tyāg kare tyārapachhī anya koī upadesh devo. (ane koī upadesh āpe) jem mūḷ vinā vr̥ukṣha hotun nathī tem enā tyāg vinā shrāvak hoy nahi. māṭe ja enun nām mūḷ chhe. 74.
have ā hinsādikano tyāg karavānun vidhān kahe chheḥ–
anvayārthaḥ– [औत्सर्गिकी निवृत्तिः] utsargarūp nivr̥utti arthāt sāmānya tyāg [कृतकारितानुमननैः] kr̥ut, kārit ane anumodanarūp [वाक्कायमनोभिः] man, vachan ane kāyāthī [नवधा] nav prakāre [इष्यते] mānavāmān āvī chhe, [तु] ane [एषा] ā [अपवादिकी] apavādarūp nivr̥utti [विचित्ररूपा] anekarūp chhee.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘औत्सर्गिकी निवृत्तिः कृतकारितानुमोदनैः वाक्कायमनोभिः नवधा इष्यते’– ā utsargarūp tyāg kr̥ut, kārit anumodan sahit man, vachan kāyānā bhedathī navaprakāre kahīe chhīe. ‘तु अपवादिकी एषा विचित्ररूपा’– ane apavādarūp je tyāg chhe te judā judā prakāre chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ– hinsādino tyāg be prakāre chhe. ek utsarga tyāg ane bījo apavād tyāg. utsarga eṭale sāmānya. sāmānyapaṇe sarvathā prakāre tyāg karīe tene

utsarga tyāg kahe chhe. tenā nav bhed chhe. manathī pote karavānun chintave nahi, bījā pāse karāvavānun chintave nahi, ane koīe karyun hoy tene bhalun jāṇe nahi, vachanathī pote karavānun kahe nahi, bījāne karāvavā māṭe upadesh āpe nahi, koīe karyun hoy tene bhalun kahe nahi, kāyāthī pote kare nahi, bījāne hāth vagere dvārā preraṇā āpī karāve nahi ane koīe karyun hoy tene hastādi vaḍe prashanse nahi. ā nav bhed kahyā. apavād tyāg anek prakārano chhe. ā nav bhaṅg kahyā temānthī keṭalāk bhāṅgāthī amuk prakāre tyāg kare, amuk prakāre na kare, ā rīte māre ā kārya karavun, ā rīte na karavun –em apavād tyāg bhinna bhinna prakāre chhe. māṭe shakya hoy te rīte tyāg karavo. 7p.
have hinsānā tyāganā be prakār kahe chheḥ–
स्थावरहिंसामसहास्त्रसहिंसां तेऽपि मुञ्चन्तु।। ७६।।
anvayārthaḥ– [ये] je jīv [अहिंसारूपं] ahinsārūp [धर्मं] dharmane [संशृण्वन्तः अपि] sārī rīte sāmbhaḷīne paṇ [स्थावर हिंसा] sthāvar jīvonī hinsā [परित्यक्तुम्] chhoḍavāne [असहाः] asamartha chhe [ते अपि] teo paṇ [त्रसहिंसां] tras jīvonī hinsā [मुञ्चन्तु] chhoḍe.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘ये अहिंसारुपं धर्म संशृण्वन्तः अपि स्थावरहिंसां परित्यक्तुम् असहाः ते अपि त्रसहिंंसां मुञ्चन्तु’– je jīv ahinsā ja jenun svarūp chhe evā dharmanun shravaṇ gurumukhe kare chhe paṇ rāgabhāvanā vashe sthāvar hinsā chhoḍavāne samartha nathī te jīve trasahinsāno to tyāg karavo.
bhāvārthaḥ– hinsāno tyāg be prakāre chhe. ek to sarvathā tyāg chhe te munidharmamān hoy chhe. tene aṅgīkār karavo. vaḷī jo kaṣhāyanā vashathī sarvathā tyāg na bane to tras jīvonī hinsāno tyāg karī shrāvakadharma to aṅgīkār karavo. ahīn koī trasajīvanun svarūp pūchhe to tene kahīe chhīe ke sansārī jīv be prakāranā chhe. ek sthāvar ane ek tras. je ek sparshendriy sahit ekendriy jīv te sthāvar chhe. tenā pāñch bhed chhe. pr̥ithvīkāyik, jaḷakāyik, agnikāyik, pavanakāyik ane vanaspatikāyik, je be īndriyādi jīv chhe tene tras kahīe chhīe. tenā chār bhed chhe. sparshan ane rasanā indriy sahit īyaḷ, koḍī, shaṅkh, gīṅgoḍā vagere dvīndriy jīv chhe. sparsha, jībh ane nāsikā sanyukta kīḍī, makoḍā, kānakhajūrā vagere trīndriy jīv chhe. sparsha,
