pāpopadesh anarthadaṇḍatyāgavrat kahe chhe. shrāvak gr̥uhastha potānā kuṭumbīone, bhāībandhone, potānān sagāmvahālānone–sambandhīone ke jemanī sāthe potāne prayojan chhe temane tathā potānā sādharmī bhāīo chhe temane temano nirvāh chalāvavā māṭe avashya vyāpār vagereno upadesh āpīne nimitta sambandhī cheṣhṭā kare, paṇ jemanī sāthe potāne kāī paṇ prayojan nathī temane upadesh na devo joīe. 142.

anvayārthaḥ– [भूखननवृक्षमोट्टनशाड्वलदलनाम्बुसेचनादीनि] pr̥ithvī khodavī, vr̥ukṣha ukhāḍavān, atishay ghāsavāḷī jamīn kacharavī, pāṇī sīñchavun vagere [च] ane [दलफलकुसुमोच्चयान्] patra, phaḷ, phūl toḍavā [अपि] vagere paṇ [निष्कारणं] prayojan vinā [न कुर्यात्] na karavun.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘निष्कारणं भूखनन वृक्षमोट्टन शाड्वलदलन अम्बुसेचनादीनि च दलफलकुसुमोच्चयान् अपि च न कुर्यात्’–arthaḥ–vinā prayojane pr̥ithvī khodavī, vr̥ukṣha ukhāḍavā, ghās kacharavun, pāṇī sīñchavun–ḍhoḷavun tathā pāndaḍān, phaḷ, phūlo toḍavān, ityādi koī paṇ kārya na karavun.

anvayārthaḥ– [यः] je jīv [इति] ā rīte [परिमुक्तसकलसावद्यः सन्] sampūrṇa pāpakriyāothī rahit thaīne [षोडशयामान्] soḷ pahor [गमयति] vitāve chhe [तस्य] tene [तदानीं] te vakhate [नियतं] nishchayapūrvak [पूर्णं] sampūrṇa [अहिंसाव्रतं] ahinsāvrat [भवति] thāy chhe.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘इति (पूर्वोक्तरीत्या) यः (श्रावकः) परिमुक्तसकलसावद्यः षोडशयामान् गमयति, तस्य (श्रावकस्य) तदानीं नियतं पूर्णं अहिंसाव्रतं भवति।’–arthaḥ–jevī rīte upavāsanī vidhi batāvī chhe tevī rīte je shrāvak sampūrṇa ārambh–parigrahano tyāg karī soḷ pahor vitāve chhe te shrāvakane te soḷ pahoramān niyamathī pūrṇa ahinsāvratanun pālan thāy chhe.

bhāvārthaḥ– je ek vār bhogavavāmān āve tene bhog kahe chhe. jem ke dāḷ, bhāt, roṭalī, purī, pāṇī, dūdh, dahīn, peṇḍā, jalebī, puṣhpamāḷā vagere badhā bhog padārtho chhe. je vāramvār bhogavavāmān āve tene upabhog kahe chhe. jem ke kapaḍān, vāsaṇ, ghar, makān, khetar, jamīn, gāy, baḷad vagere badhā upabhog padārtho chhe shrāvakane ā padārthonā sambandhathī hinsā thāy chhe tethī shrāvakoe ā hinsānān kāraṇono shīghra tyāg karavo joīe. 161.

bhāvārthaḥ– āchārashāstramān je padārtho abhakṣhya ane niṣhedhya batāvyā chhe te badhāno tyāg karavo joīe. jem ke chāmaḍāmān rākhel athavā chāmaḍāno sparsha thayo hoy tevun pāṇī, naḷanun pāṇī, chāmaḍāmān rākhel vā chāmaḍāno sparsha thayo hoy tevān ghī, tel; chāmaḍāmān rākhel hīṅg vagere paṇ ashuddha chhe. tethī te khāvā nahi. 48 miniṭathī vadhāre vakhat rahelun kāchun dūdh, ek divas uparāntanun dahīn, bajārano loṭ, ajāṇyān phaḷ, rīṅgaṇān, saḍelun anāj, bahubījavāḷī vastuo khāvī nahi. maryādā uparāntano loṭ khāvo na joīe.
batrīs āṅgaḷ lāmbā ane chovīs āṅgaḷ pahoḷā bevaḍā karelā svachchha, jāḍā kapaḍāthī pāṇī gāḷīne pīvun. te gāḷelā kāchā pāṇīnī maryādā 48 miniṭanī chhe. gāḷelā pāṇīmān jo laviṅg, elachī, marī vagereno bhūko karīne nākhavāmān āve ane tenun pramāṇ eṭalun hoy ke te pāṇīno raṅg ane svād badalāī jāy to te pāṇīnī maryādā chha kalākanī chhe ane pāṇīne uchhāḷo āve tevun ukāḷavāmān āve to tenī maryādā 24 kalākanī chhe.1 ā rīte pāṇīnā upayogamān ācharaṇ karavun joīe. pāṇīnun gāḷaṇ jyānthī pāṇī āvyun hoy tyān mokalavun joīe. ā rīte shrāvake potānā bhog–upabhoganī sāmagrīmān vivek rākhīne tyāg ane grahaṇ karavān joīe. 163.
अविरुद्धा अपि भोगा निजशक्तिमपेक्ष्य धीमता त्याज्याः। अत्याज्येष्वपि सीमा कार्यैकदिवानिशोपभोग्यतया।। १६४।।
anvayārthaḥ– [धीमता] buddhimān manuṣhye [निजशक्तिम्] potānī shakti [अपेक्ष्य] joīne [अविरुद्धाः] aviruddha [भोगाः] bhog [अपि] paṇ [त्याज्याः] chhoḍī devā yogya chhe. ane je [अत्याज्येषु] uchit bhog–upabhogono tyāg na thaī shake to temān [अपि] paṇ [एकदिवानिशोपभोग्यतया] ek divas–rātanī upabhogyatāthī [सीमा] maryādā [कार्या] karavī joīe.

bhāvārthaḥ– je shrāvak bhog–upabhoganā padārthono maryādāpūrvak tyāg karato rahe chhe tene teṭalā ja anshe santoṣh pragaṭ thaīne ahinsā pragaṭ thāy chhe. te vastuonā jīvonī hinsā nahi thavāthī dravyahinsā thatī nathī tathā eṭalā ja anshe lobh kaṣhāyano tyāg thavāne līdhe bhāvahinsā paṇ thatī nathī. tethī (akaṣhāy gnātāsvarūpamān–sāvadhān evā) tyāgī manuṣhyane avashya ja visheṣh ahinsā hoy chhe. ā rīte bhog–upabhogaparimāṇ nāmanā trījā shikṣhāvratanun varṇan karyun.166.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘विधिना दातृगुणवता द्रव्यविशेषस्य जातरूपाय अतिथये स्वपरानुग्रहहेतोः अवश्यं भागः कर्तव्यः।’–arthaḥ–navadhābhaktipūrvak tathā dātāranā sāt guṇ sahit je shrāvak chhe teṇe dān devā yogya vastunun je guṇavān pātra chhe temane potānā ane paranā upakāranā nimitte avashya dān karavun joīe.

वाक्कायमनःशुद्धिरेषणशुद्धिश्च
anvayārthaḥ– [च] ane [संग्रहम्] pratigrahaṇ, [उच्चस्थानं] ūñchun āsan āpavun, [पादोदकम्] pag dhovā, [अर्चनं] pūjā karavī, [प्रणामं] namaskār karavā, [वाक्कायमनःशुद्धि] manashuddhi, vachanashuddhi ane kāyashuddhi rākhavī [च] ane [एषणशुद्धिः] bhojanashuddhi. ā rīte āchāryo [विधिम्] navadhābhaktirūp vidhi [आहुः] kahe chhe.
ṭīkāḥ– संग्रहम्, उच्चस्थानं, पादोदकं, अर्चनं, प्रणामं, वाक्शुद्धिः, कायशुद्धिः, मनशुद्धिः, एषणशुद्धिः, इति विधिम् आहुः।’ 1–saṅgrah eṭale paḍagāhan karavun, munirājane khūb ādarapūrvak bhojan māṭe nimantraṇ āpīne gharamān pravesh karāvavo, 2–uchcha sthān arthāt gharamān laī jaīne temane ūñchā āsan par besāḍavān, 3–pādodak arthāt temanā pag nirdoṣh jaḷathī dhovā, 4–archan arthāt āṭh dravyathī temanī pūjā karavī athavā phakta argha chaḍāvavo, pa–praṇām arthāt pūjan pachhī praṇām karīne traṇ pradakṣhiṇā karavī, 6–vākshuddhi arthāt vinayapūrvak vachan bolavān evī vachanashuddhi, 7–kāyashuddhi arthāt hāth ane potānun sharīr shuddha rākhavun, 8–manashuddhi arthāt man shuddha karavun jem ke dān devāmān pariṇām sevā tathā bhaktirūp rākhavā, khoṭā pariṇām na karavā, 9–eṣhaṇashuddhi arthāt āhāranī shuddhi rākhavī, āhāranī badhī vastuo nirdoṣh rākhavī. ā rīte nav prakāranī bhaktipūrvak ja āhāradān āpavun joīe, ā navadhābhakti muni mahārājane māṭe ja chhe anyane māṭe yogyatā pramāṇe ochhīvattī chhe. 168.
अविषादित्वमुदित्वे निरहङ्कारित्वमिति हि दातृगुणाः।।

anvayārthaḥ– [ऐहिकफलानपेक्षा] ā lok sambandhī phaḷanī ichchhā na rākhavī, [क्षान्तिः] kṣhamā athavā sahanashīlatā, [निष्कपटता] niṣhkapaṭapaṇun, [अनसूयत्वम्] irṣhārahitapaṇun, [अविषादित्वमुदित्वे] akhinnabhāv, harṣhabhāv ane [निरहङ्कारित्वम्] nirabhimānapaṇun [इति]–e rīte ā sāt [हि] nishchayathī [दातृगुणाः] dātānā guṇ chhe.
ṭīkāḥ– ‘हि ऐहिकफलानपेक्षा, क्षान्तिः, निष्कपटता, अनसूयत्वम्, अविषादित्वम्– मुदित्वम्, निरहंकारित्वम इति सप्त दातृगुणाः सन्ति।’ arthaḥ–1–aihikaphal–anapekṣhā–dān āpīne ā lok sambandhī sārā bhogopabhoganī sāmagrīnī ichchhā na karavī. 2–kṣhānti–dān āpatī vakhate kṣhamābhāv dhāraṇ karavo. 3–niṣhkapaṭatā–kapaṭ na karavun te. bahāramān bhakti kare ane antaraṅgamān pariṇām kharāb rākhe tem na karavun joīe. 4–anasūyatvam–bījā dātā pratye durbhāv na rākhavo. arthāt potāne gher muni mahārājano āhār na thavāthī ane bījānā gher āhār thavāthī bījā pratye buro bhāv na rākhavo. pa–aviṣhādapaṇun–viṣhād na karavo te. amāre tyān sārī vastu hatī te ame āpī shakayā nahi vagere prakāre khinnatā karavī nahi. 6– muditapaṇun–dān āpīne khūb harṣha na kare. 7–nirahaṅkārīpaṇun–abhimān na karavun te. ame mahān dānī chhīe ityādi prakāre manamān abhimān na karavun. ā 1sāt guṇ dātānā chhe. te pratyek dātāmān avashya hovā joīe. ā rīte nav prakāranī bhaktipūrvak tathā sāt guṇ sahit je dātā dān āpe chhe te dān ghaṇun phaḷ āpanār thāy chhe ane je e sivāy dān āpe chhe te ghaṇun phaḷ āpanār thatun nathī. 169.
anvayārthaḥ– [यत्] je [द्रव्यं] dravya [रागद्वेषासंयममददुःखभयादिकं] rāg, dveṣh, asanyam, mad, duḥkh, bhay ādi [न कुरुते] karatun nathī ane [सुतपः स्वाध्याय– _________________________________________________________________ 1. ratnakaraṇḍa shrāvakāchār gā0 133 mān dātānā sāt guṇ–1 bhakti–dharmamān tatpar rahī, pātronā
pātranī bhaktimān pravarte. 2–tuṣhṭi–devāmān ati āsakta, pātralābhane param nidhānano lābh māne.
