rākhavī, 3–āhāranī vastuo līlā pāndaḍāthī ḍhāṅkavī, 4–muni mahārājane āvavāno samay hoy tyāre ghare na maḷavun ane pa–potāne gher muni mahārājane māṭe āhāranī vidhi na maḷī shakavāne kāraṇe athavā potānā ghare na āvavāne kāraṇe jo bījā shrāvakane ghare munine āhāradān thāy to te shrāvakapratye dveṣh rākhavo–ā pāñch atichār atithisamvibhāg shikṣhāvratanā chhe. 194.

sallekhanānā pāñch atichār

जीवितमरणाशंसे सुहृदनुरागः सुखानुबन्धश्च।
सनिदानः पञ्चैते भवन्ति
सल्लेखनाकाले।। १९५।।

anvayārthaḥ– [जीवितमरणाशंसे] jīvananī āshansā, maraṇanī āshansā, [सुहृदनुरागः] suhr̥ud arthāt mitra prati anurāg, [सुखानुबन्धः] sukhano anubandha [च] ane [सनिदानः] nidān sahit–[एते] [पंच] pāñch atichār [सल्लेखनाकाले] samādhimaraṇanā samaye [भवन्ति] hoy chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘जीविताशंसा मरणाशंसा सुहृदनुरागः सुखानुबन्धः च सनिदानः इति एते पंच सल्लेखनाकाले अतीचाराः सन्ति।’ arthaḥ–1. sallekhanā dhāraṇ karyā pachhī jīvavānī ichchhā karavī, 2. sallekhanā dhāraṇ karyā pachhī jo kāī vedanā thatī hoy to evī ichchhā karavī ke hun jaladī maraṇ pāmun, 3. pūrvanā mitronun smaraṇ karavun ke te sāro mitra hato, hun tenī sāthe ramato hato vagere, 4. pūrve je shātānī sāmagrī bhogavī hatī tene yād karavī, te bhog have kayāre maḷashe evun smaraṇ karavun, pa. āgāmī kāḷamān sārā sārā bhogonī prāptinī ichchhā karavī. – ā pāñch sallekhanānā atichār chhe.

bhāvārthaḥ– ā rīte 1 samyagdarshan, pa aṇuvrat, 3 guṇavrat, 4 shikṣhāvrat, ane 1 sallekhanā–e chaudanā sitter atichāronun varṇan karī chūkayā. tethī naiṣhṭhik shrāvake ā badhānun jyānsudhī banī shake tyānsudhī yathāshakti atichārarahit pālan karavun, to ja manuṣhyabhav maḷavo sārthak chhe.

shrāvak samyagdarshanano dhārak hoy chhe, te sāt vyasanono tyāgī ane āṭh mūḷaguṇono pāḷanār chhe. 2. naiṣhṭhik shrāvak uparanī vāto sahit bār vratonun pālan kare chhe. e naiṣhṭhik avasthā jīvanaparyant rahe chhe. 3. sādhak–shrāvak jyāre maraṇano samay nikaṭ āvī jāy chhe tyāre te naiṣhṭhik shrāvak sādhak avasthāne prāpta thaī shake chhe. –ā rīte je manuṣhya ā traṇe avasthāone prāpta kare chhe te avashya svargane pāmī shake chhe ane paramparāe mokṣha prāpta karī le chhe. e ja mokṣhaprāptino kram chhe. 19p.

atichārano tyāg karavānun phaḷ

इत्येतानतिचारानपरानपि संप्रतर्क्य परिवर्ज्य।
सम्यक्त्वव्रतशीलैरमलैः पुरुषार्थसिद्धिमेत्यचिरात्।। १९६।।

anvayārthaḥ– [इति] e prakāre gr̥uhastha [एतान्] ā pūrve kahelā [अतिचारान्] atichār ane [अपरान्] bījā doṣh utpanna karanār atikram, vyatikram ādino [अपि] paṇ [संप्रतर्क्य] vichār karīne [परिवर्ज्य] chhoḍīne [अमलैः] nirmaḷ [सम्यक्त्वव्रतशीलैः] samyakatva, vrat ane shīl dvārā [अचिरात्] thoḍā ja kāḷamān [पुरुषार्थसिद्धिम्] puruṣhanā prayojananī siddhi [एति] pāme chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘इति एतान् अतिचारान् अपि अपरान् सम्प्रतर्क्य च परिवर्ज्य अमलैः सम्यक्त्वव्रतशीलैः अचिरात् पुरुषार्थसिद्धिम् एति।’ arthaḥ–ā rīte ā atichār ane bījā paṇ je doṣh chhe tene sārī rīte vichārīne chhoḍe chhe ane nirdoṣh samyagdarshan, pa aṇuvrat, 4 shikṣhāvrat, 3 guṇavrat–e badhā vratonā pālan dvārā jīv shīghra ja mokṣhane prāpta karī shake chhe.

चारित्रान्तर्भावात् तपोपि मोक्षाङ्गमागमे गदितम्।
अनिगूहितनिजवीर्यैस्तदपि निषेव्यं समाहितस्वान्तैः।।१९७।।

anvayārthaḥ– [आगमे] jain āgamamān [चारित्रान्तर्भावात्] chāritranun antarvartī hovāthī [तपः] tapane [अपि] paṇ [मोक्षाङ्गम्] mokṣhanun aṅg [गदितम्] kahevāmān āvyun chhe, tethī [अनिगूहितनिजवीर्यैः] potānun parākram na chhupāvanār tathā [समाहितस्वान्तैः] sāvadhān chittavāḷā puruṣhoe [तदपि] te tapanun paṇ [निषेव्यम्] sevan karavā yogya chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘चारित्रान्तर्भावात् तपः अपि आगमे मोक्षाङ्गम् गदितम् अतः एव अनिगूहितनिजवीर्यैः समाहितस्वान्तैः तदपि निषेव्यम्।’ arthaḥ–samyakchāritramān samāvesh pāmatun hovāthī tapane paṇ shāstromān mokṣhanun kāraṇ kahyun chhe, tethī potānī shakti chhupāvyā vinā potānun man vash rākhī te tapanun paṇ ācharaṇ karavun joīe.

bhāvārthaḥ– tap ek prakāre vyavahārachāritra chhe. (bhūtārthano āshray karanārane) vyavahārachāritrathī nishchayachāritra ke je samyakchāritra chhe tenī prāpti thāy chhe arthāt e niyam chhe ke tapashcharaṇ vinā nishchay samyakchāritranī prāpti thatī ja nathī tethī mokṣha ichchhanār puruṣhoe avashya tap dhāraṇ karavun joīe. 197.

[nondhaḥ– chāritra to vītarāgatā chhe ane te nij shuddhātmānā āshraye ja pragaṭe chhe. paṇ tyān te kāḷe vyavahāracharaṇ kevun hoy te batāvavā tene vyavahāranayathī kāraṇ kahyun chhe. rāg chhe te bādhak ja chhe paṇ te te bhūmikāne yogya rāg te guṇasthānano nāshak nathī eṭalo meḷ batāvavā māṭe upachār–vyavahār nirūpaṇanī e rīt chhe. rāg karatān karatān nishchayachāritra thāy nahi em prathamathī ja niḥsandehapaṇe pratīti karavī joīe.]

bāhya ane antaraṅg evā bhedathī tap be prakāranun chhe. pahelān bāhya tapanā bhed batāve chheḥ–

ṭīkāḥ– ‘अनशनं अवमौदर्यं विविक्तशय्यासनं रसत्यागः कायक्लेशः च वृत्तेः संख्याः बाह्यं तपः इति निषेव्यम्।’ arthaḥ–1–anashan tap–arthāt upavās dvārā chāre prakāranā āhārano tyāg karavo. khādya, svādya, lehya ane pey e–rīte āhār chār prakārano chhe. 2– avamaudrarya tap–eṭale ekāshan karavun, bhūkhathī ochhun khāvun, e beu prakāranā tap dvārā karmonī nirjarā thāy chhe ane dhyānanī prāpti thāy chhe. nidrā maṭe chhe, doṣh ghaṭe chhe, santoṣh thāy chhe, svādhyāy karavāmān man lāge chhe. 3–vivikta shayyāsan–jyān manuṣhyonun āvāgaman na hoy evā ekānt sthānamān vās karavo. 4–rasatyāg–dūdh, dahīn, ghī, sākar ane tel–ā pāñch rasano tyāg ane mīṭhāno tem ja līlotarīno paṇ tyāg karavo tene rasatyāg kahe chhe. joke ras to pāñch ja chhe topaṇ indriyasanyamanī apekṣhāe sāteno tyāg karavo joīe. enā tyāgano kram mīṭhun, līlotarī, sākar, ghī, dūdh, dahīn ane tel e pramāṇe chhe. ane te ravivāranā divasathī sharū karavun joīe. pa–kāyaklesh–sharīrane pariṣhah upajāvīne pīḍā sahan karavī tenun nām kāyaklesh chhe ā kāyakleshano abhyās karavāthī anek kaṭhor upasarga sahan karavānī shakti utpanna thāy chhe, sharīr sātheno mamatvabhāv ghaṭe chhe ane rāgano abhāv thāy chhe. 6– vr̥uttisaṅkhyā–vr̥uttinī maryādā karī levī. jem ke āje mane āvun bhojan maḷe to hun āhār karīsh athavā āṭalān ghare bhojan māṭe jaīsh vagere prakārathī niyam karī levo. ā rīte chha prakāranān bāhyatapanun nirūpaṇ karyun. 198.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘विनयः वैयावृत्त्यं प्रायश्चित्तं च उत्सर्गः तथैव स्वाध्यायः ध्यानं इति अन्तरंगतपः निषेव्यम्।’ arthaḥ–1–vinay–vinay antaraṅgatap chār prakāranun chhe. 1. darshan vinay, 2. gnān vinay, 3. chāritra vinay ane 4. upachār vinay.

1. samyagadarshananī prāptino upāy karavo, samyagdarshananā mahātmyano prachār karavo, samyagdraṣhṭi jīvonī vr̥uddhi thāy tevā prayatno karavā tathā potānun samyagdarshan sadā nirdoṣh rākhavun– e darshanavinay chhe. 2. gnānanī prāpti karavī, gnānano prachār karavo, svādhyāyashāḷā, vidyālay kholāvavān, shāstro vaheñchavā–e badho gnānavinay chhe. 3. chāritra prāpta karavun, chāritrano upadesh devo vagere chāritravinay chhe. 4. ratnatrayadhārakono ane bījā dharmātmā bhāīono shārīrik vinay karavo, te āve tyāre ūbhā thavun, namaskār karavā, hāth joḍavā, page paḍavun vagere–e badho upachāravinay chhe. tīrthakṣhetranī vandanā karavī e paṇ upachāravinay chhe, pūjā–bhakti karavī e paṇ upachāravinay chhe. ratnatrayanī prāpti karavī e ja sācho vinay chhe. ā rīte vinayatapanun varṇan pūrṇa karyun.

2–vaiyāvr̥uttyapotānā guru vagere āchārya, upādhyāy, sarva sādhu, arjikā, shrāvak, shrāvikā, tyāgī ityādi dharmātmā sajjnonī sevā–sushrūṣhā karavī ene vaiyāvr̥uttya kahe chhe. koī vār koī vratadhārīne rog thaī jatān shuddha prāsuk auṣhadhathī temano rog dūr karavo, jaṅgalomān vasatikā, kuṭī vagere banāvavān, e badhun vaiyāvr̥uttya ja chhe.

3–prāyashchitta–pramādathī je kāī doṣh thaī gayo hoy tene potānā guru sāme pragaṭ karavo, temanā kahevā pramāṇe te doṣhane doṣh mānīne tathā āgāmī kāḷamān te pramāṇe na karavānī pratignā karīne je kāī daṇḍ de te daṇḍano svīkār karavo tene prāyashchitta antaraṅgatap kahe chhe. enāthī vrat–chāritranī shuddhi thāy chhe. 1. ālochan, 2. pratikramaṇ, 3. ālochan pratikramaṇ, 4. vivek, pa. vyutsarga, 6. tap, 7. chhed, 8. parihār ane 9. upasthāpanā–e rīte prāyashchittanā nav bhed chhe.

4–utsarga–sharīramān mamatvano tyāg karavo tathā krodhādi kaṣhāyono tyāg karavo ane sansāranī vastuone potānī na mānavī ityādi mamatva–ahaṅkārabuddhino tyāg karavo tene ja utsarga nāmanun antaraṅgatap kahe chhe.

pa. svādhyāy–prathamānuyog, charaṇānuyog, karaṇānuyog ane dravyānuyog, e chāre prakāranā shāstronu svādhyāy karavun, shīkhavun, shīkhavavun, vichāravun, manan karavun. e svādhyāy karavāthī samyaggnānanī prāpti thāy chhe. anya jīvone samyaggnānano bodh thāy chhe, pariṇām sthir rahe chhe, sansārathī vairāgya thāy chhe, dharmanī vr̥uddhi thāy chhe vagere anek guṇ pragaṭ thāy chhe, tethī svādhyāy karavī joīe.

6. dhyān–ekāgrachitta thaīne samasta ārambh–parigrahathī mukta thaī pañchaparameṣhṭhī ane ātmānun dhyān karavun tene ja dhyān kahe chhe. te ārtadhyān, raudradhyān, dharmadhyān ane shukaladhyān–e rīte chār prakāranun chhe. temān ārtadhyān ane raudradhyān sansāranān kāraṇ chhe tathā dharmadhyān ane shukaladhyān mokṣhanān kāraṇ chhe.

dhyānanā sāmānya rīte traṇ bhed thaī shake chhe–ashubhadhyān, shubhadhyān ane shuddhadhyān. tethī ārtadhyān ane raudradhyān e be ashubhadhyān chhe, dharmadhyān shubhadhyān chhe ane shukaladhyān shuddhadhyān chhe. māṭe mokṣhārthī jīvoe dharmadhyān ane shukaladhyān avashya apanāvavun joīe. dhyānanā avalambanarūpe piṇḍastha, padastha, rūpastha ane rūpātīt–e chār bhed chhe. enun visheṣh varṇan paṇ gnānārṇav granthamānthī jāṇī levun. ahīn lakhavāthī ghaṇo vistār thaī jashe.

bhāvārthaḥ– ahīn e vāt jāṇī levī bahu jarūrī chhe ke bāhyatap ane antaraṅg tapamān shun taphāvat chhe. bāhyatapamān kevaḷ bāhyapadārtha tathā sharīranī kriyā ja pradhān kāraṇ hoy chhe ane antaraṅg tapamān ātmīy bhāv tathā mananun avalamban ja pradhān kāraṇ paḍe chhe. jem agni sonāne shuddha banāve chhe tem ā banne prakāranā tap ātmāne shuddha banāve chhe. kāraṇ ke tap vinā chāritra hotun nathī ane chāritra vinā karmonī nirjarā thatī nathī, māṭe ā banne prakāranā tapanun ācharaṇ avashya karavun joīe. ahīn sudhī gr̥uhasthanā vratonun varṇan karyun. have tyārapachhī shrī amr̥utachandrasvāmī munionā chāritranun varṇan kare chhe. munipad dhāraṇ karyā vinā mokṣhanī prāpti kadī thatī nathī māṭe mokṣhārthī bhavyātmāoe jyānsudhī banī shake tyānsudhī samasta ārambh–parigrahano tyāg karīne munipad dhāraṇ karī, āṭh karmono kṣhay karī mokṣhanī prāpti karavī joīe. 199.

anvayārthaḥ– [जिनपुङ्गवप्रवचने] jineshvaranā siddhāntamān [मुनीश्वराणां] munīshvar arthāt sakalavratadhārīonun [यत्] je [आचरणम्] ācharaṇ [उक्तम्] kahyun chhe, [एतत्] e [अपि] paṇ gr̥uhasthoe [निजां] potānān [पदवीं] pad [च] ane [शक्ति] shaktino [सुनिरूप्य] sārī rīte vichār karīne [निषेव्यम्] sevan karavā yogya chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘जिनपुङ्गवप्रवचने मुनीश्वराणां यत् आचरणं उक्तम् एतत् अपि निजां पदवीं सुनिरूप्य शक्तिं च सुनिरूप्य निषेव्यम्।’ arthaḥ–arhant bhagavān tathā gaṇadharādie kahelān jinashāstromān je muni–mahātmāonun sarvadesh tyāgarūp ācharaṇ kahyun chhe te ācharaṇ potānā padanī yogyatā ane potānī shakti joīne avashya ācharavun joīe.

bhāvārthaḥ– jyānsudhī banī shake tyānsudhī pratyek ātmakalyāṇārthīe munipadano svīkār karīne potānā ātmānun kalyāṇ karavun joīe. jo te koī paṇ rīte sarvadeshavratanun pūrṇapaṇe pālan na karī shake to pahelān aṇuvrat pāḷavān joīe ane pachhī mahāvrat dhāraṇ karavān joīe. 200.

chha āvashyakanun varṇan

इदमावश्यकषट्कं समतास्तववन्दनाप्रतिक्रमणम्।
प्रत्याख्यानं वपुषो व्युत्सर्गश्चेति कर्त्तव्यम्।। २०१।।

anvayārthaḥ– [समतास्तववन्दनाप्रतिक्रमणम्] samatā, stavan, vandanā, pratikramaṇ, [प्रत्याख्यानं] pratyākhyān [च] ane [वपुषो व्युत्सर्गः] kāyotsarga–[इति] e rīte [इदम्] [आवश्यकषट्कं] chha āvashyak [कर्त्तव्यम्] karavān joīe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘समता स्तव वन्दना प्रतिक्रमणं प्रत्याख्यानं वपुषो व्युत्सर्गः इति इदं आवश्यक षट्कम्।’

1. samatā–samasta jīvo par samatābhāv rākhavo athavā sāmāyik karavī.

2. stav–shrī bhagavān arhantadev–tīrthaṅkar bhagavānanā guṇonun kīrtan karavun arthāt stuti karavī. e stav vyavahārastav ane nishchayastav–em be prakāre chhe.

3. vandanā–pāñch parameṣhṭhīne pratyakṣha athavā parokṣharūpe sāṣhṭāṅg namaskār karavā.

4. pratikramaṇ–pote karelā doṣhono pashchāttāp karavo. arthāt jyāre potānāthī koī doṣh ke bhūl thaī jāy tyāre te potānā guru samakṣha pragaṭ karī te bhūl mānī levī e ja pratikramaṇ chhe.

pa. pratyākhyān–je ratnatrayamān vighna utpanna karanār chhe tene man, vachan ane kāyāthī rokavā ane temano tyāg karavo tene ja pratyākhyān kahe chhe. ā pratyākhyān 1. akhaṇḍit, 2. sākār, 3. nirākār, 4. parimān, pa. itarat, 6. vartanīpāt, 7. sahetuk ityādi bhedathī 10 prakāranun chhe.

6. vyutsarga–sharīranun mamatva chhoḍīne visheṣh prakāranā āsanapūrvak dhyān karavun e vyutsarga nāmanun chhaṭhṭhun āvashyak chhe.

bhāvārthaḥ– ā rīte chha āvashyakonun varṇan karyun ke je munioe ane shrāvakoe paṇ pāḷavun joīe. muni ane shrāvakoe temanun pālan pratidin jarūr karavun joīe tethī ja emanun nām āvashyak chhe. māṭe munioe tenun pālan sarvadesh karavun joīe ane shrāvakoe potānī yogyatā anusār ekadesh karavun joīe. 201.

traṇ guptionun varṇan

सम्यग्दण्डो वपुषः सम्यग्दण्डस्तथा च वचनस्य।
मनसः सम्यग्दण्डो गुप्तीनां त्रितयमवगम्यम्।। २०२।।

anvayārthaḥ– [वपुषः] sharīrane [सम्यग्दण्डः] sārī rīte–shāstrokta vidhithī vash karavun, [तथा] tathā [वचनस्य] vachananun [सम्यग्दण्डः] sārī rīte avarodhan karavun [च] ane [मनसः] manano [सम्यग्दण्डः] samyakpaṇe nirodh karavo–ā rīte [गुप्तीनां त्रितयम्] traṇ guptione [अवगम्यम्] jāṇavī joīe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘वपुषः सम्यग्दण्डः तथा वचनस्य सम्यग्दण्डः च मनसः सम्यग्दण्डः इति गुप्तीनां त्रितयं समनुगम्यम्।’ arthaḥ–sharīrane vash karavun, vachanane vash karavān ane manane vash karavun–ā traṇe gupti jāṇavī joīe.

bhāvārthaḥ– gupti nām gopavavānun athavā chhupāvavānun chhe. jem ke mananī kriyā rokavī eṭale mananī chañchaḷatā rokī ekāgratā karī levī te managupti chhe tathā vachanane na bolavā te vachanagupti chhe ane sharīranī kriyā rokavī arthāt sthir thaī javun te kāyagupti chhe. ā traṇe guptiomānthī manoguptinun pālan ja ghaṇun kaṭhin chhe.

सम्यग्गमनागमनं सम्यग्भाषा तथैषणा सम्यक्।

anvayārthaḥ– [सम्यग्गमनागमनं] sāvadhānīthī sārī rīte gaman ane āgaman, [सम्यग्भाषा] uttam hitamitarūp vachan, [सम्यक् एषणा] yogya āhāranun grahaṇ, [सम्यग्ग्रहनिक्षेपौ] padārthanun yatnapūrvak grahaṇ ane yatnapūrvak kṣhepaṇ karavun [तथा] ane [सम्यग्व्युत्सर्गः] prāsuk bhūmi joīne maḷ–mūtrādino tyāg karavo–[इति] e rīte ā pāñch [समितिः] samiti chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘सम्यग्गमनागमनं सम्यग्भाषा तथा सम्यक् एषणा च सम्यग्ग्रहनिक्षेपः सम्यक् व्युत्सर्गः इति् (पंच) समितिः।’ arthaḥ–1–īryāsamiti–be ghaḍī sūrya ūgyā pachhī rasto prāsuk thaī gayā pachhī yatnāchārapūrvak chār hāth pramāṇ jamīn joī sambhāḷīne āvavun–javun.

2–bhāṣhāsamiti–hitakārī ane thoḍān evān vachan bolavān ke je sāmbhaḷatān koī paṇ prāṇīne duḥkh na thāy.

3–eṣhaṇāsamiti–chhentāḷīs doṣh, batrīs antarāy ṭāḷīne uttam kulīn shrāvakane gher āchārasahit vidhipūrvak shuddha prāsuk āhār ekavār levo.

4–ādānanikṣhepaṇasamiti–yatnāchārapūrvak joī sambhāḷīne pustak, pīñchhī, kamaṇḍaḷ vagere levun–mūkavun.

धर्मः सेव्यः क्षान्तिर्मृदुत्वमृजुता च शौचमथ सत्यम्।
आकिञ्चन्यं ब्रह्म त्यागश्च तपश्च संयमश्चेति।। २०४।।

anvayārthaḥ– [क्षान्तिः] kṣhamā, [मृदुत्वम्] mārdav, [ऋजुता] saraḷapaṇun arthāt ārjav, [शौचम्] shauch, [अथ] pachhī [सत्यम्] satya, [च] tathā [आकिंञ्चन्यं] ākiñchan, [ब्रह्म] brahmacharya, [च] ane [त्यागः] tyāg, [च] ane [तपः] tap, [च] ane [संयमः] sanyam–[इति] e rīte [धर्मः] dash prakārano dharma [सेव्यः] sevan karavā yogya chhe.

pa–bījāne duḥkh utpanna karanār, nindanīy kapaṭī vachano na bolavān tene satya kahe chhe ane e ja pāñchamo uttam satyadharma chhe. 6–pāñch indriyanā viṣhayone tathā mananā viṣhayane rokavā ane chha kāyanā jīvonī hinsā na karavī ene ja sanyam kahe chhe. vratonun dhyān karavāthī, samitionun pālan karavāthī, kaṣhāyono nigrah karavāthī ane man–vachan–kāyāne vash rākhavāthī ā sanyamanun pālan thāy chhe. e ja chhaṭhṭho sanyam dharma chhe. 7–jevī rīte sonāno mel dūr karavā māṭe agnino tāp devāmān āve chhe tevī ja rīte ātmā sāthe lāgelān karmo dūr karavāne māṭe (sarvagna–vītarāg kathit)

tap karavāmān āve chhe. ā tap bār prakāranā chhe. e sātamo tapadharma chhe. 8–lokamān āhār, auṣhadh, abhay ane gnānadān āpavun tene tyāgadharma kahe chhe, parantu e tyāg paṇ sācho tyāg nathī. krodhādi kaṣhāyono tyāg karavo te ja sācho tyāg chhe. māṭe pratyakṣhapaṇe munimahārāj kāī dān karatā nathī topaṇ vāstavamān kaṣhāyono tyāg karanār teo ja sāchā dānī chhe ane je vakhate je jīvane lobhakaṣhāyano tyāg thaī gayo tene bāhya padārthono to tyāg thaī ja gayo, kemake lobhakaṣhāy chhoḍayā vinā bāhya vastuno tyāg thato nathī. tethī em siddha thayun ke (tattvagnānanā baḷ vaḍe) lobhādi kaṣhāyono tyāg karavo e ja sācho tyāg chhe, te ja dān chhe.

9–mamatvabuddhino tyāg karavo te ākiñchanya dharma chhe. chaud prakāranā antaraṅg parigrah ane das prakāranā bāhya parigrah–e banne prakāranā parigrahano tyāg karī devo te ja uttam ākiñchanya dharma chhe. 10–sansāranā sarva padārtho pratyethī mananī vr̥utti khaseḍīne kevaḷ ek ātmāmān ja ramaṇ karī shake te brahmacharya.

e dashā te vakhate thaī shake chhe ke jyāre ātmā pāñche indriyonā viṣhayone rokavā māṭe samartha hoy tathā khās karīne sparshendriyanā viṣhay arthāt kāyavāsanāne jītavā māṭe samartha thaī jāy, ane te kāyavāsanāno tyāg tyāre ja thāy chhe ke jyāre strī mātrano tyāgī thāy arthāt sansāranī strī mātrane man–vachan–kāyāthī tyāge. paṇ evo tyāg to kevaḷ ek munimahārāj ja karī shake chhe; shrāvak to ekadesh tyāg karī shake chhe arthāt potānī strīmān santoṣh rākhīne potānī strī sivāy bākīnī sansāranī samasta strīone mātā, ben ke putrī samān ja jāṇe chhe–e ja ekadesh brahmacharyanun pālan chhe.

bhāvārthaḥ– ā rīte ā dash dharmonun varṇan karyun. te dharmonun pālan karavun e pratyek prāṇīnun mukhya kartavya chhe, kāraṇ ke ā ja dash dharma mokṣhamārganun sādhan karavā māṭe mukhya kāraṇ chhe. 204.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘अध्रुवं अशरणं जन्म एकत्वं अन्यता अशौचं आस्रवः संवरः निर्जरा लोक बोधि वृषः इति द्वादश अनुप्रेक्ष्याः सततं भावनीयाः।’

arthaḥ– 1. anitya bhāvanā–sansāranī samasta vastuo sharīr, bhogādi badhun nāshavān chhe, ātmā nitya chhe, dhruv chhe, māṭe adhruv vastune chhoḍīne dhruv vastumān chitta lagāvavun ene ja anitya bhāvanā kahe chhe.

2. asharaṇ bhāvanā–ā jagatamān koī koīne sharaṇ nathī, badhā prāṇī kāḷane vash chhe, kāḷathī bachāvanār koī nathī. vyavahāranayathī chār sharaṇ chhe–arhantanun sharaṇ, siddhanun sharaṇ, sādhunun sharaṇ ane jainadharmanun sharaṇ, ane vāstavamān nishchayanayathī kevaḷ potāno ātmā ja sharaṇ chhe, bījun nahi. evo (svasanmukhatā–sahit) vichār karavo te ā bījī asharaṇ bhāvanā chhe.

3. sansār bhāvanā–sansār bahu duḥkharūp chhe, chāre gatimān kayāny paṇ sukh nathī. narak gatimān to pragaṭarūp tāḍan, bhedan–chhedan, ityādi ghaṇān duḥkh chhe, tiryañch gatimān bhūkh, taras, ghaṇo bhār lādavo vagere duḥkh chhe. manuṣhya gatimān paṇ anek chintā, vyākuḷatā vagere ghaṇān duḥkh chhe, devagatimān paṇ viṣhay–vāsanā chhe ane nānā devo moṭā devono vaibhav joīne duḥkhī thāy chhe, devonun āyuṣhya lāmbun ane devāṅganāonun āyuṣhya ṭūṅkun hovāthī viyogamān avashya duḥkh thāy chhe. maraṇanā chha mās agāu jyāre māḷā karamāvā lāge chhe tyāre atyant khed ane duḥkh thāy chhe vagere prakāre devagatimān paṇ ghaṇān duḥkh chhe. ek sukh mātra pañchamagati arthāt mokṣhamān chhe tethī pratyek prāṇīe chār gatirūp sansārathī udāsīn thaīne pañchamagati prāpta karavāno upāy karavo joīe. āvun hammeshān chintan karatā rahevun te trījī sansār bhāvanā chhe.

4. ekatva bhāvanā–ā ātmā sadā ekalo ja chhe. janmamān tathā maraṇamān ekalo chhe, teno koī saṅgī nathī. te sukh bhogavavāmān ekalo, sansārabhramaṇ karavāmān ekalo, nirvāṇ thavāmān paṇ ekalo. sadā ātmā ekalo ja rahe chhe, teno sāthī koī nathī evun hammeshān vichāravun tene ekatva bhāvanā kahe chhe.

pa. anyatva bhāvanā–sansāranā jeṭalā padārtho chhe te badhā judā judā chhe, koī padārtha koī padārthamān maḷelo nathī, man, vachan, kāyā e badhān ātmāthī judān chhe.

jyāre ā sharīr, man ane vachan paṇ ātmāthī judān chhe to ā pragaṭarūpe judān evān ghar, makān vagere ek kevī rīte hoī shake? ā jātanun vāramvār chintavan karavun te anyatva bhāvanā chhe.

6. ashuchi bhāvanā–ā sharīr sadaiv navadvārathī vahetā maḷ–mūtrano khajāno mahā ashuchirūp chhe ane ātmā gnānamay mahā pavitra chhe, to ātmāno sharīrādithī sambandh kevī rīte hoī shake? em vāramvār chintavan karavun te chhaṭhṭhī ashuchi bhāvanā chhe.

7. āsrav bhāvanā–pa mithyātva, 12 avirati, 2p kaṣhāy, 1p yog–e āsravanā pa7 bhed chhe. ā bhedo vaḍe ā jīv hammeshān karmono āsrav karyā kare chhe. jyānsudhī (shuddhabhāvarūp samvar vaḍe) te āsravono tyāg na thāy tyānsudhī ā jīv sansāramānthī chhūṭī shakato nathī. arthāt jīvane ā āsrav ja duḥkhadāyak padārtha chhe –em vāramvār chintavan karavun tene ja āsravabhāvanā kahe chhe.

8. samvar bhāvanā–karmonā āgamanane rokavun tene ja samvar kahe chhe. ā samvar ja sansārathī chhoḍāvanār ane mokṣhamān pahoñchāḍanār chhe. pāñch mahāvrat, pāñch samiti, traṇ gupti, dash dharma, bār bhāvanā, bāvīs pariṣhah, pāñch prakāranā chāritra –e badhān samvaranān kāraṇ chhe. badhā prāṇīoe ā badhān kāraṇone dhāraṇ karī samvaranī prāpti karavī joīe. –evun vāramvār chintavan karavun tene ja samvar bhāvanā kahe chhe.

9. nirjarā bhāvanā–karmono ekadesh kṣhay thavo tene nirjarā kahe chhe. ā nirjarā be prakāranī chheḥ savipāk nirjarā ane avipāk nirjarā. savipāk nirjarā to sansāranā samasta jīvone sadaiv thayā ja kare chhe paṇ avipāk nirjarā tap vagere karavāthī ja thāy chhe ane avipāk nirjarā vinā jīv sansārathī mukta thaī shakato nathī. māṭe mokṣhārthī jīvoe ā avipāk nirjarā avashya karavī joīe. –evun vāramvār chintavan karavun tene ja nirjarā bhāvanā kahe chhe.

10. lok bhāvanā–ā anādinidhan lok koīe banāvyo nathī, koī eno rakṣhak nathī ke koī eno nāsh karanār nathī. e svayansiddha avināshī–kadī paṇ nāsh na pāmanār chhe. ā lokanā traṇ bhāg chhe. adholok, madhyalok ane ūrdhvalok. ā jīv anādikāḷathī ā traṇe lokamān bhramaṇ karī rahyo chhe. ā traṇe lokamān sukhano ansh paṇ nathī, e mahān duḥkhanī khāṇ chhe. ā lokano nivās kayāre ṭūṭe evo vāramvār vichār karavo ene ja lokabhāvanā kahe chhe.

11. bodhidurlabh bhāvanā–sansāramān badhī ja vastuo sulabh chhe arthāt shīghra ja badhāne prāpta thaī shake chhe, paṇ jo kāī durlabh ane kaṭhin hoy to te ek kevaḷagnān chhe. ane kevaḷagnān vinā ā jīvane mokṣha maḷī shakato nathī, māṭe pratyek prāṇīe te ja kevaḷagnānanī prāpti karavāmān tatpar ane prayatnashīl thavun joīe. jyānsudhī kevaḷagnānanī prāpti nahi thāy tyānsudhī ā ātmā sansāramān bhramaṇ karato ja raheshe. tethī he ātmā! jo tāre vāstavik sukhanī prāpti karavī hoy to tun shīghra chār ghātikarmono nāsh karī shīghra ja kevaḷagnānane prāpta kar. –ā prakāranun vāramvār chintavan karatā rahevun tene ja bodhidurlabh bhāvanā kahe chhe.

12. dharmabhāvanā–vāstavamān jīvane sukh āpanārī vastu ek dharma chhe, kemake dharma nām svabhāvanun chhe. pratyek vastuno je svabhāv chhe tene ja dharma kahe chhe. jyāre te dravya potānā svabhāvamān pariṇaman kare chhe tyāre te sukhī ane shuddha kahevāy chhe. ā ātmāno je gnānaguṇ chhe te ja eno dharma chhe. jyānsudhī te gnānadharmano athavā samyagdarshan, samyaggnān, samyakchāritra e traṇe dharmono pūrṇa vikās nahi thāy tyānsudhī ā ātmā sansāranā bandhanamānthī chhūṭī shakato nathī.

uttam kṣhamā, mārdav vagere paṇ ātmānā ja dharma chhe tathā dayā karavī e paṇ ātmāno dharma chhe. joke ā dharma pratyek sansārī ātmāmān virājamān chhe topaṇ jyānsudhī eno ātmāmān vikās na thāy tyānsudhī ā ātmā sansārarūpī jelamānthī chhūṭī shakato nathī arthāt mokṣha pāmī shakato nathī, māṭe ā pramāṇe vāramvār chintavan karatā rahevun ene ja dharmabhāvanā kahe chhe.–ā rīte bār bhāvanāonun varṇan karyun kemake sansārathī vairāgya utpanna karavāmān e pradhān sahāyak chhe. bār bhāvanāonun chintavan karavāthī ā vairāgyanī puṣhṭi thāy chhe māṭe enun sadaiv chintavan karavun joīe. 20p.

1. kṣhudhā pariṣhah–badhā jīvo bhūkhanā kāraṇe ghaṇā duḥkhī thāy chhe paṇ munimahārājane jyāre bhūkhanī pīḍā hoy tyāre temaṇe em vichāravun joīe ke he jīv! tun anādikāḷathī sansāramān bhaṭakī rahyo chhe, ten anek prakāranī vastuonun bhakṣhaṇ karyun chhe paṇ āj sudhī tārī bhūkh shānta thaī nathī tathā narakagatimān paṇ khūb bhūkh sahan karī. have tun atyāre mokṣhanī prāpti māṭe taiyār thaī rahyo chhe, ā tārun sharīr ahīn ja rahī jashe tethī (shānta gnānānand svarūpamān līnatā vaḍe) bhūkhano nāsh karī de ke jethī shīghra ja mokṣhanī prāpti thaī jāy. ā prakārano vichār karatān muni bhūkhane jīte.

2. tr̥uṣhā pariṣhah–badhā jīvo tarasathī khūb duḥkhī thāy chhe. jyāre munimahārāj unāḷānā vakhate parvatanī ṭoch upar beṭhā hoy chhe ane temane taras lāge chhe te vakhate temaṇe em vichāravun joīe ke he jīv! ten sansāramān bhaṭakatān ākhā sansāranun pāṇī pīdhun chhe topaṇ ā taras chhīpī nathī. narakagati ane tiryañchagatimān ten ghaṇī taras sahaj karī chhe ane tyān thoḍun paṇ pāṇī pīvā māṭe maḷ‌yun nathī, tethī have tun taras sahan kar ane ātmadhyānamān man lagāv ke jethī ā taras kāyamane māṭe maṭī jāy. ā rīte chintavan karīne tarasanī pīḍā sahan karavī–ene ja tr̥uṣhā pariṣhah kahe chhe.

3. shīt pariṣhah–ṭhaṇḍīthī sansāranā prāṇīo khūb duḥkhī thāy chhe. līlāñchham vr̥ukṣho paṇ baḷī jāy chhe evī poṣh ane māh mahinānī ṭhaṇḍīmān paṇ munimahārāj sarovar ke nadīne kināre besīne dhyān kare chhe. te vakhate jyāre ṭhaṇḍīnī pīḍā thāy chhe to te munimahārāj evo vichār kare chhe ke he jīv! ten anādikāḷathī ghaṇī ṭhaṇḍī sahan karī chhe ane te ṭhaṇḍī dūr karavāne ghaṇā upāy paṇ karyā parantu āj sudhī ṭhaṇḍī maṭī nathī. have ten munivrat dhāraṇ karyān chhe, ā ja padathī mokṣhanī prāpti thashe, tethī he jīv! tun ā ṭhaṇḍīnī bādhā–pīḍā sārī rīte sahan kar. ām chintavan–vichār karīne ātmadhyānamān līn thavun tene ja shīt pariṣhah kahe chhe.

4. uṣhṇa pariṣhah–unāḷānī r̥utumān sūrya khūb tapī rahyo chhe, ākhī duniyānā prāṇīo garamīnī pīḍāthī vyākuḷ thaī rahyā chhe. nadī, sarovaranun jaḷ sūkāī gayun chhe evā vakhate munimahārāj paththaranī shilā par besīne em vichār kare chhe ke he ātmā! ten agniparyāy dhāraṇ karīne khūb garamī sahan karī chhe, narakagatimān khūb garamī sahan karī chhe, to atyāre kaī vadhāre garamī chhe? ā vakhate to ten munivrat dhāraṇ karyān chhe, āṭalī thoḍīk garamīnī bādhā ānandathī sahan kar –ām chintavan karatān uṣhṇa pariṣhahane jīte chhe–ene uṣhṇa pariṣhah kahe chhe.

pa. nagna pariṣhah–munirāj samasta prakāranān vastrono tyāg karīne nagnadigambarapaṇe rahetān akhaṇḍ brahmacharyanun pālan karīne potānā ātmadhyānamān līn rahe chhe. nagna rahevāthī rañchamātra duḥkh mānatā nathī paṇ hammeshān potānā ātmāmān līn rahe chhe–ene ja nagna pariṣhah kahe chhe.

6. yāchanā pariṣhah–munirājane bhale mahināo sudhī āhār na maḷe, varṣho sudhī paṇ na maḷe chhatān te munirāj kadī koī shrāvak pāse āhāranī yāchanā karatā

nathī, tethī ja muninī vr̥uttine sinhavr̥utti kahī chhe. –ā rīte yāchanā pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

7. arati pariṣhah–jagatanā jīvo iṣhṭa padārtha maḷatān rati māne chhe ane aniṣhṭa padārtha maḷatān arati–khed māne chhe, paṇ te paramayogī bhale jaṅgalamān rahe, koī temane bhalā (sārā) kahe, koī temane būrā (kharāb) kahe topaṇ kadī potānā chittamān khed karatā nathī. ā rīte arati pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

8. alābh pariṣhah–jem āhār vagere na maḷavāthī tenī yāchanā karatā nathī tem mahināo sudhī āhāranī prāpti na thavā chhatān paṇ potānā manamān rañchamātra paṇ khed lāvatā nathī. e rīte alābh pariṣhahano jay kare chhe.

9. danshamashak pariṣhah–ḍāns, machchhar, kīḍī, makoḍā vagerenā ḍaṅkhanī pīḍā sansāranā prāṇīo sahan karī shakatā nathī, yogī puruṣho te badhānī bādhā–pīḍā sahan kare chhe. kīḍā vagere jantuo nagna sharīrane khūb bādhā–pīḍā utpanna kare chhe, paṇ munimahārāj manamān khed karatā nathī. ā rīte danshamashak pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

10. ākrosh pariṣhah–jo koī munirājanī nindā kare, kuvachan kahe, gāḷ vagere de to tene sāmbhaḷīne jarāpaṇ khed karatā nathī paṇ uttamakṣhamā ja dhāraṇ kare chhe. e rīte yogīo ākrosh pariṣhah jīte chhe.

11. rog pariṣhah–pūrvanā ashātāvedanīy karmanā udayathī jo sharīramān koī pīḍā thāy to munimahārāj te rogathī duḥkhī thatā nathī paṇ potānā pūrvakarmanun phaḷ jāṇī ātmadhyānamān līn rahe chhe. ene rog pariṣhah kahe chhe.

12. maḷ pariṣhah–munimahārājane snān vagere na karavāthī dhūḷ, parasevo ādi āvavānā kāraṇe mel jevun jāmī jāy chhe paṇ tenā taraph temanun dhyān jatun nathī, kāraṇ ke potānā ātmaguṇomān ja līn rahe chhe. ene ja maḷ pariṣhah kahe chhe.

13. tr̥uṇasparsha pariṣhah–chālatī vakhate athavā besatī vakhate jīvonī rakṣhā karavāmān tatpar te munimahārājane jo kāṇṭā, kāṅkarā vagere pesī jāy to te pīḍā dūr karavā māṭe kāī paṇ upāy karatā nathī parantu potānā ātmadhyānamān ja līn rahe chhe tene tr̥uṇasparsha pariṣhah kahe chhe.

14. agnān pariṣhah–sansāranā badhā prāṇīo agnānathī duḥkhī thaī rahyā chhe. tevī ja rīte jo koī yogīne pūrva gnānāvaraṇīy karmano uday thavāthī tathā ghaṇun

tap karavā chhatān paṇ tathā paṭhan–pāṭhanano udyam karavā chhatān paṇ jo gnānanī vr̥uddhi na thaī shake topaṇ te munirāj potānā manamān khed na kare ke mane hajī sudhī gnān na thayun. ene agnān pariṣhah kahe chhe.

1p. adarshan pariṣhah–jagatanā jīvo samasta kāryo potānā prayojananī siddhi māṭe kare chhe, tyān jo puruṣhārtha karavā chhatān paṇ prayojananī siddhi na thāy to klesh māne chhe, paṇ te munirāj evo vichār karatā nathī ke hun khūb tap karun chhun, svādhyāy karun chhun, samasta kaṣhāyo upar vijay meḷavī chūkayo chhun, sanyam pāḷun chhun, paṇ āj sudhīmān mane koī r̥uddhi pedā thaī nahi, gnānātishay thayo nahi, to shun ā tap vagerenun kāī phaḷ hashe ke nahi?–e prakāre temanā manamān kadī sanshay thato nathī ene adarshan pariṣhah kahe chhe.

16. pragnā pariṣhah–sansāranā jīvone jo thoḍun paṇ gnān thaī jāy to tenun abhimān karavā lāgī jāy chhe, paṇ munimahārājane avadhignān ke manaḥparyayagnān paṇ thaī jāy topaṇ temane potānā gnānanun abhimān–ghamaṇḍ thatun nathī, ene ja pragnā pariṣhah kahe chhe.

17. satkārapuraskār pariṣhah–dev, manuṣhya, tiryañch, sansāranā badhā jīvo ādarasatkārathī harṣhit thāy chhe, satkār karanār pratye maitrī rākhe chhe ane anādar karanār pratye shatrutā rākhe chhe. agnānī jīv anek kuguruo ane kudevone pūjyā kare chhe, paṇ munimahārājanā manamān evī bhāvanā utpanna thatī nathī ke koī pūjā karatun nathī, arthāt teo koīnī pāsethī ādar–sanmān ichchhatā nathī. ā rīte satkār–puraskār–pariṣhahavijayī kahevāy chhe.

18. shayyā pariṣhah–jagatanā jīv viṣhayanā abhilāṣhī thaīne komaḷ shayyā upar shayan kare chhe ane munimahārāj vanavāsī banīne kāṅkarāvāḷī jamīn upar pāchhalī rāte ek paḍakhe thoḍī nidrā le chhe. kṣhīṇ sharīramān jo kāṅkarā ke paththar vāge topaṇ duḥkh mānatā nathī, parantu evī bhāvanā bhāve chhe ke he ātmā! ten narakamān tīvra vedanā sahan karī chhe, tyānnā jevī bījī koī viṣhabhūmi nathī, eno tun nakāmo khed kare chhe. ten trailokayapūjya jinamudrā dhāraṇ karī chhe, tun mokṣhane ichchhe chhe tethī moharūpī nidrāne jīt, sadā jāgrat thā, potānā svarūpamān magna thā. ā rīte shayyā pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

19. charyyā pariṣhah–gaman karatān sansāranā jīvo ghoḍā, hāthī, rath, pālakhī vagere upar besīne gaman kare chhe tathā tiryañch paṇ gaman karavāmān duḥkh māne chhe, paṇ munimahārāj sadaiv mārga joīne chāle chhe. kāṅkarā, paththar, kāṇṭā vagere khūñchatān jarāy khed mānatā nathī. ā rīte charyyā pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

20. vadh pariṣhah–bhavavāsī jīv māravā–pīṭavāthī sadā ḍare chhe, paṇ munimahārājane jo koī māre, pīṭe, bāndhe, koī kāī paṇ kare, chhatān rañchamātra paṇ khed pāmatā nathī. teo evī bhāvanā rākhe chhe ke he ātmā! tun to avināshī chidānandamay chho, tane duḥkh āpanār koṇ chhe? tane koṇ mārī shake chhe? koṇ pīṭī shake chhe? ām vadh pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

21. niṣhadyā pariṣhah– sansāranā samasta jīv uttam manogna sthānamān besīne sukh māne chhe, paṇ munimahārāj sakaḷ parigrahano tyāg karī nirjan vanamān jyān sinh vagere anek krūr jānavaro vase chhe tyān parvatanī guphāomān, shikharo upar athavā smashān bhūmimān nivās kare chhe parantu rañchamātra paṇ duḥkh mānatā nathī. ā rīte niṣhadyā pariṣhahane jīte chhe.

22. strī pariṣhah– jagatanā jīv ghaṇun karīne badhī strīo dvārā potāne sukhī māne chhe ane tenī sāthe hāsya–kutūhalanī vāto karīne ānand māne chhe. paṇ munimahārāj sārī sārī sundar strīonān sundar vachano sāmbhaḷavā chhatān paṇ hāvabhāv–vilās–vibhram–kautukanī kriyāo jovā chhatān paṇ jarāy vichalit thatā nathī paṇ akhaṇḍ brahmacharyanun pālan karī potānā ātmadhyānamān līn rahe chhe. ā rīte strī pariṣhahane jīte chhe.–ā rīte bāvīs pariṣhah nirantar sahan karavā joīe. je muni sansāraparibhramaṇanā duḥkhathī kampāyamān chhe te draḍh chittavāḷā banīne bāvīs pariṣhaho sahan kare, kāyaratā na kare. je munirāj pariṣhah sahan karī shakatā nathī temanun chitta nishchal thaī shakatun nathī ane chittanī nishchalatā vinā dhyān thaī shakatun nathī, dhyān vinā karmono nāsh thaī shakato nathī ane karmono nāsh thayā vinā mokṣha thaī shakato nathī; tethī mokṣhanā abhilāṣhīe avashya ja pariṣhah sahan karavā joīe. ā rīte bāvīs pariṣhahonun varṇan karyun. 208.

āgaḷ em batāve chhe ke mokṣhābhilāṣhīe ratnatrayanun sevan karavun joīe.

इति रत्नत्रयमेतत्प्रतिसमयं विकलमपि गृहस्थेन।
परिपालनीयमनिशं
निरत्ययां मुक्तिमभिलषिता।। २०९।।

anvayārthaḥ– [इति] ā rīte [एतत्] pūrvokta [रत्नत्रयम्] samyagdarshan, samyaggnān ane samyakchāritrarūp ratnatray [विकलम्] ekadesh [अपि] paṇ [निरत्ययां] avināshī [मुक्तिम्] muktine [अभिलषिता] chāhanār [गृहस्थेन] gr̥uhasthe [अनिशं] nirantar [प्रतिसमयं] samaye samaye [परिपालनीयम्] sevavā yogya chhe.

ṭīkāḥ– ‘इति एतत् रत्नत्रयं प्रतिसमयं विकलं अपि निरत्ययां मुक्तिं अभिलषिता गृहस्थेन अनिशं परिपालनीयम्।’ arthaḥ–ā rīte ā ratnatray arthāt samyagdarshan, samyaggnān ane samyakchāritranun gr̥uhastha shrāvake paṇ ekadeshapaṇe sadaiv mokṣhane ichchhato thako pālan karavun joīe.

bhāvārthaḥ– munine ratnatray pūrṇarūpe chhe ane gr̥uhastha shrāvak sampūrṇa ratnatrayanun pālan karī shakato nathī tethī teṇe ekadesh pālan karavun joīe paṇ ratnatrayathī vimukh thavun na joīe, kemake ratnatray ja mokṣhanun kāraṇ chhe. munine ratnatray mahāvratanā yogathī sākṣhāt mokṣhanun kāraṇ chhe ane shrāvakane aṇuvratanā yogathī paramparā mokṣhanun kāraṇ chhe, arthāt je shrāvakane samyagdarshan thaī jashe tenun alpagnān paṇ samyaggnān ane aṇuvrat paṇ samyakchāritra kahevāshe, tethī ratnatrayanun dhāraṇ karavun ghaṇun jarūrī chhe.

sāt tattvonī shraddhā karavī te vyavahārasamyagdarshan ane nijasvarūpanī shraddhā arthāt svānubhav thavo te nishchayasamyagdarshan chhe. jināgamathī āgamapūrvak je sāte padārthone jāṇī levā te vyavahārasamyaggnān ane nijasvarūpanun bhān arthāt ātmagnān thavun te nishchayasamyaggnān chhe. ashubhakāryonī nivr̥uttipūrvak shubhakāryomān pravr̥utti karavī te vyavahārasamyakchāritra ane shubhapravr̥uttithī paṇ nivr̥utta thaīne shuddhopayogarūp nijasvarūpamān sthir thavun te nishchayasamyakchāritra chhe.–ā rīte saṅkṣhepathī ratnatrayanun shrāvake ekadeshapaṇe avashya ja pālan karavun joīe. ratnatray vinā koīnun paṇ kalyāṇ nathī. 209.

gr̥uhasthoe shīghra munivrat dhāraṇ karavun joīe, em batāve chheḥ–

बद्धोद्यमेन नित्यं लब्ध्वा समयं च बोधिलाभस्य।
पदमवलम्ब्य मुनीनां कर्त्तव्यं सपदि परिपूर्णम्।। २१०।।
