anvayArtha– [किल] kharekhar [अमीषाम्] A deshavratI shrAvakane [भोगोपभोग] bhog–upabhoganA hetuthI [स्थावरहिंसा] sthAvar arthAt ekendriy jIvonI hinsA [भवेत्] thAy chhe paN [भोगोपभोगविरहात्] bhog–upabhoganA tyAgathI [हिंसायाः] hinsA [लेशः अपि] lesh paN [न भवति] thatI nathI.

TIkA– ‘‘किल अमीषाम् (श्रावकानाम्) भोगोपभोगहेतोः स्थावरहिंसा भवेत् (अतः उपवासे) भोगोपभोगविरहात् हिंसायाः लेशोऽपि न भवति’’–artha–nishchayathI shrAvakone bhog– upabhoganA padArtho sambandhI sthAvarahinsA thAy chhe, kemake gRuhastha shrAvak trasahinsAno to pUrNa tyAgI ja chhe. jyAre gRuhastha upavAsamAn samasta Arambh–parigrah ane pAnche pApano sampUrNa tyAg karI de chhe tyAre tene upavAsamAn sthAvarahinsA paN thatI nathI. वाग्गुप्तेर्नास्त्यनृतं न समस्तादानविरहतः स्तेयम्।
नाब्रह्म मैथुनमुचः सङ्गो
नाङ्गेप्यमूर्छस्य।। १५९।।

anvayArtha– ane upavAsadhArI puruShane [वाग्गुप्तेः] vachanagupti hovAthI [अनृतं] jUThun vachan [न] nathI, [समस्तादानविरहतः] sampUrNa adattAdAnanA tyAgathI [स्तेयम्] chorI [न] nathI, [मैथुनमुच] maithun chhoDanArane [अब्रह्म] abrahmacharya [न] nathI ane [अङ्गे] sharIramAn [अमूर्छस्य] nirmamatva hovAthI [सङ्गः] parigrah [अपि] paN [न] nathI.
