ध्वनन् किमात्मार्थं किंचिदपेक्षते नैवापेक्षते अयमर्थःयथा मुरजः परोपकारार्थमेव विचित्रान् शब्दान् करोति तथा सर्वज्ञः शास्त्रप्रणयनमिति ।।।। vichitra shabdo kare chhe, tem sarvagna shāstrano upadesh (divyadhvani dvārā) kare chhe.

bhāvārtha :jem mr̥udaṅg vagāḍanāranā hāthanā sparshathī potānī ichchhā vinā vāge chhe ane tenā madhur avājathī shrotāonān man prasanna thāy chhe, parantu tenā badalāmān shrotāo taraphathī te kīrti, prashansā, pūjā, lābh, premādinī ichchhā karatun nathī, tem hitopadeshī vītarāg devano paṇ bhavya jīvonā puṇyanā nimitte, ichchhā vinā hitano upadesh hoy chhe. topaṇ teo potānā māṭe lābhādinī ichchhā karatā nathī, tem ja shrotāo upar rāg karatā nathī.

jem megh potānā prayojan vinā - ichchhā vinā ja lokonā puṇyodayanā nimitte, puṇyashāḷī jīvonā deshamān gaman, garjanā karīne puṣhkaḷ varasād varasāve chhe, tem bhagavān āptano, lokonān puṇya nimitte puṇyavān jīvonā deshamān, vinā ichchhāe vihār thāy chhe ane tyān dharmarūp amr̥utanī varṣhā thāy chhe.

visheṣh

1. mr̥udaṅganā shabdoe pudgalano paryāy chhe. te tenā svatantra pariṇamanathī thāy chhe, temān shilpīnī ichchhā ane hāth to phakta nimitta mātra chhe. tethī te bannenī vachche nimitta - naimittik sambandh samajavo, nahi ke kartā - karma sambandh. tevī ja rīte divyadhvani dvārā bhagavānanān upadesh - vachano thāy chhe te paṇ bhāṣhāvargaṇā pudgalanun svatantra pariṇaman chhe, temān bhagavānanī ichchhā paṇ nimitta nathī; kāraṇ ke teo vītarāg chhe. phakta temanī upasthiti - hayātī ja nimitta mātra chhe. māṭe te bannemān (divyadhvanimān ane bhagavānanī upasthitimān) mātra nimitta - naimittik sambandh mānavāne badale temān kartā - karma sambandh mānavo te bhram chhe.

2. pt.. dolatarāmajī kr̥ut darshanastutimān kahyun chhe ke

‘.......bhavi bhāgan vach joge vashāy,
tum dhuni hai suni vibhram nashāy........3.

he bhagavān, bhavya jīvonā bhāgyanā nimitte āpanī divyadhvani chhe, je sāmbhaḷīne vibhramano nāsh thāy chhe.

कीदृशं तच्छास्त्रं यत्तेन प्रणीतमित्याह

आप्तोपज्ञमनुल्लंध्यमद्रदृष्टेष्टविरोधकम्
तत्त्वोपदेशकृत्सार्वं शास्त्रं कापथघट्टनम् ।।।।

ahīn paṇ bhavya jīvonun bhāgya (puṇyano uday) ane divyadhvani e be vachche nimitta - naimittik sambandh samajavo. 3. ṭīkākāre samyagdarshanādikane svargādinun sādhan kahyun chhe. samyagdarshan te to ātmāno pariṇām chhe. te nishchay samyaktva chhe, te mokṣhanun sādhan chhe. parantu chaturthādi guṇasthānomān tenā sahachar tarīke je shubharāg chhe te ja svargādinun sādhan chhe. jyān nishchay samyaktva ane vyavahār samyaktva sahachar rūpe hoy tyān nishchay samyaktva to mokṣhamārga rūp samvar

- nirjarārūp chhe ane tenī sāthenun vyavahār samyaktva je shubharāg rūp chhe te

‘आप्तोपज्ञं’ सर्वज्ञस्य प्रथमोक्तिः अनुल्लंघ्यं यस्मात्तदाप्तोपज्ञं तस्मादिन्द्रा दीनामनुल्लंघ्यमादेयं कस्मात् ? तदुपज्ञत्वेन तेषामनुल्लंध्यं यतः ‘अदृष्टेष्टविरोधकं’दृष्टं प्रत्यक्षं, इष्टमनुमानादि, न विद्यते दृष्टेष्टाभ्यां विरोधो यस्य तथाविधमपि कुतस्तत्सिद्धमित्याह‘तत्त्वोपदेशकृत्’ यतस्तत्त्वस्य च सप्तविधस्य जीवादिवस्तुनो यथावस्थितस्वरूपस्य वा उपदेशकृत् यथावत्प्रतिदेशकं ततो दृष्टेष्टाविरोधकं एवंविधमपि कस्मादवगतं ? यतः ‘सार्वं’ सर्वेभ्यो हितं सार्वमुच्यते तत्कथं यथावत्तत्स्वरूपप्ररूपणमन्तरेण घटेत एतदप्यस्य कुतो निश्चितमित्याह ‘कापथघट्टनं’ यतः कापथस्य कुत्सितमार्गस्य मिथ्यादर्शनादेर्घट्टनं निराकारकं’ सर्वज्ञप्रणीतं शास्त्रं ततस्तत्सार्वमिति ।।।।

ṭīkā :(shāstra kevun chhe te kahe chhe) - आप्तोपज्ञं’ sarvagnanī pratham uktirūp chhe (arthāt sarva pratham āpta bhagavāne kahelun chhe.) - अनुल्लंघ्यं’ te āptanun kahelun hovāthī indrādi dvārā ullaṅghan karī shakāy tevun nathī, arthāt temanā dvārā svīkārya chhe. shāthī? kāraṇ ke te sarvagnanun upadeshelun hovāthī temanāthī khaṇḍanarahit chhe,arthāt teo tenun ullaṅghan karī shake tem nathī. अदृष्टेष्टविरोधकं’ दृष्टं eṭale pratyakṣha ane इष्टम् eṭale anumānādi - pratyakṣha ane anumānādi pramāṇothī virodharahit chhe. te tevā ja prakāranun (virodharahit) shī rīte siddha thāy chhe? te kahe chhe - तत्त्वोपदेशकृत्’ kāraṇ ke sāt prakāranān tattvanājīvādi vastuonā yathāsthit svarūpano upadesh kare chhe. yathāvat tene upadeshe chhe tethī te pratyakṣha, anumānādi pramāṇothī virodharahit chhe. te (shāstra) evā prakāranun ja chhe, (tattvono upadesh karanārun chhe) em shī rīte jāṇyun? kāraṇ ke सार्वं’ sarvane je hitarūp hoy te sārva kahevāy chhe, yathāvat tenā svarūpanā prarūpaṇ sivāy te kem ghaṭī shake? te shāstra tevun ja chhe. (sārva chhe) em shī rīte nakkī karyun? te kahe chhe - कापथघट्टनम्’ kāraṇ ke te kumārganun (mithyādarshanādinun) nirākaraṇ karanār (khaṇḍan karanār), sarvagnanun kahelun shāstra chhe tethī te shāstra sarvane hitarūp chhe.

अथेदानीं श्रद्धानगोचरस्य तपोभृतः स्वरूपं प्ररूपयन्नाह

विषयाशावशातीतो निरारम्भोऽपरिग्रहः
ज्ञानध्यानतपोरत्नस्तपस्वी स प्रशस्यते ।।१०।।
2. jenun khaṇḍan yā ullaṅghan koī karī shake nahi tevun chhe. arthāt nyāyayuktithī akāṭya chhe.
3. pratyakṣha ane parokṣha pramāṇādithī virodharahit chhe.
4. sāt tattvādinun yathāvat prarūpaṇ kare chhe.
5. sarva jīvone hitarūp chhe.

- mithyāmārganun je khaṇḍan kare chhe.

pūrva pūrva lakṣhaṇ āgaḷ āgaḷanā lakṣhaṇanun kāraṇ chhe, arthāt te āptopagna chhe tethī te anulaṅghya chhe, tethī te draṣhṭa (pratyakṣha) ane iṣhṭa (anumānādi) - pramāṇothī virodharahit chhe. te pratyakṣha ane parokṣha pramāṇādithī virodharahit chhe, tethī te jīvādi sāt tattvonān svarūpanun yathāvat nirūpaṇ kare chhe. yathāvat tattvonun nirūpaṇ karatun hovāthī te sārva - sarvane hitarūp chhe ane sarvene hitarūp hovāthī te mithyā mārganun khaṇḍan karanārun chhe.

jain āgamanī utkr̥uṣhṭatāne je jīv yathārthapaṇe oḷakhe te potānā shuddha ātmānī sanmukh thaī samyagdraṣhṭi thāy ane te mithyādraṣhṭi rahe nahi. e ā shlokano āshay chhe. 9.

ṭīkā :विषयाशावशातीतः’ sparshanādi indriyonā viṣhayabhūt māḷā, strī ādi viṣhayonī ākāṅkṣhā (āshā)nā vashathī (adhīnatāthī) je rahit chhe arthāt viṣhayonī ākāṅkṣhāthī je rahit chhe, निरारम्भः’ jeṇe khetī ādi vyāpārano tyāg karyo chhe, arthāt khetī ādi vyāpārathī je rahit chhe, अपरिग्रहः’ je bāhya ane ābhyantar parigrahathī rahit chhe, ज्ञानध्यानतपोरत्नः’ gnān, dhyān ane taparūpī ratno jene chhe evā arthāt gnān, dhyān ane taparūpī guṇothī je vishiṣhṭa chhe evā tapasvī guru प्रशस्यते’ prashansanīy chhe.

bhāvārtha :je sansāranā kāraṇabhūt pāñch indriyonā viṣhayonī āshānī parādhīnatā ane vyāpārādi ane bāhyābhyantar1 parigraho tenāthī rahit chhe, ane ātmakalyāṇanā kāraṇabhūt je gnān, dhyān ane tap chhe temān lavalīn chhe arthāt gnān, dhyān ane tap e traṇe ratnothī rahit chhe te satyārtha guru kahevāy chhe. tevā guru ja prashansāpātra chhe.

visheṣh

ā shlokamān āchārye tenā pūrvārdhamān jeno abhāv chhe tenun kathan karyun chhe, arthāt sāchā gurumān pāñch indriyonā viṣhayanī ichchhāo, ārambh ane parigrahe traṇano abhāv darshāvyo chhe ane tenā uttarārdhamān jeno sadbhāv chhe tenun kathan karyun chhe, arthāt sāchā gurumān gnān, dhyān ane tape traṇano sadbhāv darshāvyo chhe.

je ichchhāo, ārambh ane parigrahano abhāv karī, gnān, dhyān ane tapamān lavalīn rahe chhe te ja ‘satyārtha guru’nā nāmane pātra chhe.

agnānī jīvo gurunā je guṇone vichāre chhe temān koī jīvāshrit chhe tathā koī 1.antaraṅg parigrahaḥ mithyātva, traṇ vedstrīpuruṣhnapunsak bhāv, rati, arati, hāsya, shok,

bhay, jugupsā, krodh, mān, māyā ane lobh.
bāhya parigrahaḥ kṣhetra, vāstu, hiraṇya (suvarṇa), chāndī, dhan, dhānya, dāsī, dās, kupya (vastra)
ane bhāṇḍ (vāsaṇ).

इदानीमुक्तलक्षणदेवागमगुरुविषयस्य सम्यग्दर्शनस्य निःशंकितत्वगुणस्वरूपं प्ररूपयन्नाह

इदमेवेदृशमेव तत्त्वं नान्यन्न चान्यथा
इत्यकम्पायसाम्भोवत्सन्मार्गेऽसंशया रुचिः ।।११।।

‘रुचिः’ सम्यग्दर्शनं ‘असंज्ञया’ निःशंकितत्वधर्मोपेता किंविशिष्टा सति ? ‘अकम्पा’ निश्चला किंवत् ? ‘आयसाम्भोवत्’ अयसि भवमायसं तच्च तदम्भश्च पानीयं pudgalāshrit chhe, tenī visheṣhatā nahi jāṇavāthī asamān jātīy muni - paryāyamān ekatvabuddhithī te mithyādraṣhṭi ja rahe chhe. samyagdarshan - gnān - chāritranī ekatārūp mokṣhamārga e ja muninun sāchun lakṣhaṇ chhe. tene te oḷakhato nathī. jo enī oḷakhāṇ thāy to te mithyādraṣhṭi rahe ja nahi.1

ā pramāṇe gurunun svarūp jāṇī ātmasanmukh thaī, jīv satyārtha samyagdarshan pragaṭ karee ā shlokano āshay chhe. 10.

[इति ] e rīte [सन्मार्गे ] āpta - āgam ane gurunā pravāharūp sanmārgamān [आयसाम्भोवत् ] lokhaṇḍanā (lokhaṇḍanī talavāranā) pāṇī (tīvra dhār) samān [अकंपा ] nishchal (aṭal) [रुचिः ] ruchi (shraddhān) te [असंशया ] niḥshaṅkitatvaguṇ chhe.

तदिव तद्वत् खड्गादिगतपानीयवदित्यर्थः क्व साकम्पेत्याह‘सन्मार्गे’ संसारसमुद्रोत्तरणार्थ सद्भिर्मृग्यते अन्वेष्यत इति सन्मार्ग आप्तागमगुरुप्रवाहस्तस्मिन्केनोल्लेखेनेत्याह ‘इदमेवाप्तागमतपस्विलक्षणंः तत्त्वं ‘इदृशमेव’ उक्तप्रकारेणैव लक्षणेन लक्षितं ‘नान्यत्’ एतस्माद्भिन्नं न ‘न चान्यथा’ उक्तलक्षणादन्यथा परपरिकल्पितलक्षणेन लक्षितं, ‘न च’ नैव तद्घटते इत्येवमुल्लेखेन ।।११।। jenī khoj karavāmān āve chhe - jenun anveṣhaṇ karavāmān āve chhe evā sanmārgamān - āpta - āgam gurunā pravāharūp sanmārgamān - इदमेवेत्यादि’ ā āpta - āgam - tapasvī svarūp tattva lakṣhaṇathī lakṣhit chhe. न अन्यत्’ enāthī bījun (judun) nathī. न च अन्यथा’ kahelā lakṣhaṇathī anyathābījāoe kalpelā lakṣhaṇathī lakṣhit hovunbilakul ghaṭatun nathī evā prakārathī अकम्पा’ je nishchal रुचि’ samyagdarshan chhe te असंशया’ samyagdarshananun niḥshaṅkitatvaguṇ athavā niḥshaṅkitva aṅg kahevāy chhe.

bhāvārtha :te tattva ā ja chhe, anya nathī ane anya prakāre paṇ nathī. tevun talavāranān pāṇīnī (tīkṣhṇa dhāranī) jem nishchal - sanshay rahit shraddhān te paramārtha samyagdarshananun pratham niḥshaṅkit aṅg chhe.

tattvārthasūtramān तत्त्वार्थश्रद्धानंसम्यग्दर्शनम्’ arthāt tattvārthanā shraddhānane samyagdarshan kahyun chhe. ahīn ṭīkākāre dev, āgam ane gurue traṇenā paramārthasvarūp tattvanā shraddhānane samyaktva kahyun te banne ek ja chhe; kāraṇ ke

‘‘........arhantādikanā shraddhān thayā vinā tattvārthashraddhānarūp samyaktva kadī paṇ hoy nahi, māṭe arhantādikanā shraddhānane anvayarūp kāraṇ jāṇī kāraṇamān kāryano upachār karī e shraddhānane samyaktva kahyun chhe......jene sāchā arhantādikanā svarūpanun shraddhān hoy tene tattvārthashraddhān avashya hoy ja, kāraṇ ke arhantādikanā svarūpane oḷakhatān jīv - ajīv - āsravādinī oḷakhāṇ thāy chhe. e pramāṇe tene paraspar avinābhāv jāṇī koī ṭhekāṇe arhantādikanā shraddhānane samyaktva kahyun chhe.’’2

तत्त्वं’ shabda ekavachanamān chhe ane āpta - āgam - tapasvī e traṇ hovāthī bahuvachan chhe. vaḷī chha dravya, sāt tattva ane nav padārtha e paṇ bahuvachan chhe. tenun tātparya e chhe ke jyāre jīv potānā trikāḷī gnāyakasvarūp jīvatattvanī sanmukh thāy chhe, tyāre ja paramārtha samyagdarshan thāy chhe ane tyāre ja āpta - āgam - tapasvīnī ane chha dravya, sāt tattva ane nav padārthanī sāchī shraddhā kahevāy chhe; tethī तत्त्वं’ shabda ahīn shāstrakār āchāryadeve ekavachanamān vāparel chhe.

shrī tattvārthasūtranā shlokamān tattvārthanā jīv, ajīv, āsrav, bandh, samvar, nirjarā, mokṣhaem sāt nāmo āpīne bahuvachanane badale ekavachan तत्त्वं’ lakhel chhe. tyān paṇ nij trikāḷī jīv tattvanī sanmukh thatān samyagdarshan pragaṭe chhe em batāvavā ekavachan vāparyun chhe, tem ahīn te ja āshay batāvavā तत्त्वं’ ekavachanamān vāparyun chhe.

shrī pravachanasāramān kahyun chhe ke

जो जाणदि अरहंतं दव्वत्तगुणत्तपज्जयत्तेहिं
सो जाणदि अप्पाणं मोहो खलु जादि तस्स लयं ।।८०।।

je arhantane dravyatva, guṇatva ane paryāyatva vaḍe jāṇe chhe; te ātmāne jāṇe chhe ane teno moh nāsh pāme chhe.

‘‘......arhantādinun svarūp to ātmāshrit bhāvo vaḍe tattvashraddhān thatān ja jaṇāy chhe. māṭe jene arhantādikanun sāchun shraddhān hoy tene tattvashraddhān avashya hoy ja evo niyam jāṇavo.....’’2.

‘‘......tattvārthashraddhānamān arhantadevādikanun shraddhān paṇ garbhit hoy chhe. athavā je nimittathī tene tattvashraddhān thāy chhe te ja nimittathī arhantadevādikanun paṇ shraddhān thāy chhe. māṭe samyagdarshanamān devādikanā shraddhānano paṇ niyam chhe......’’ 3.

to vastunā yathārtha svarūpanun vā hit - ahitanun shraddhān karī mokṣhamārgamān pravarte......jyān dev - guru - dharmanā shraddhānarūp lakṣhaṇ kahyun chhe tyān bāhya sādhananī pradhānatā kahī chhe, kāraṇ ke arhantadevādikanun shraddhān sāchā tattvārthashraddhānanun kāraṇ chhe.....e bāhya kāraṇanī pradhānatāthī kudevādikanun shraddhān chhoḍāvī, sudevādikanun shraddhān karāvavā arthe dev - guru - dharmanā shraddhānane mukhya lakṣhaṇ kahyun chhe. e pramāṇe judān judān prayojananī mukhyatā vaḍe judān judān lakṣhaṇo kahyān chhe.’’ 4.

samyagdraṣhṭi niḥshaṅk hoy chhe arthāt sāt bhayathī rahit hoy chhe, kāraṇ ke te ātmatattvane svānubhavagochar karī ātmāne ātmāpaṇe ane dravyakarma - nokarmane paudgalik parabhāvarūp tathā bhāvakarmane āsravarūp jāṇe chhe. paradravyothī ā jīvane lābh - hāni ke sukh - duḥkh mānato nathī. vaḷī te e vātamān niḥshaṅk hoy chhe ke koī koīne māratun nathī ke jīvāḍatun nathī ane koī koīne sukhī karatun nathī ke duḥkhī karatun nathī. arthāt ek dravya bījā dravyanun kāī karatun nathī; vaḷī te draḍhapaṇe māne chhe ke sharīr putrādi sanyogī padārthono avashya viyog thāy chhe. koī par padārtha iṣhṭa ke aniṣhṭa nathī tem ja te sukh

duḥkhanun kāraṇ paṇ nathī. mātra bhāvakarmarūp āsravabhāv chhe te duḥkh chhe. teno abhāv karavāno prayatna tene nirantar chālu hoy chhe. ek samayamān paripūrṇa nitya gnāyakatattvanā draḍh āshrayarūp āvī niḥshaṅk mānyatā vartatī hoy tene 1 - ālokano, 2 - paralokano, 3 - maraṇano, 4 - vedanāno, 5 - arakṣhāno, 6 - aguptino ane 7 - akasmātanoem sāt prakārano bhay kem hoī shake? - na ja hoy.1

‘‘sukh - duḥkhane bhogavavun te vedanā chhe. gnānīne potānā ek gnānamātra svarūpano ja bhogavaṭo chhe. te pudgalathī thayelī vedanāne vedanā ja jāṇato nathī. māṭe gnānīne vedanā bhay nathī. te to sadā nirbhay vartato thako gnānane anubhave chhe.

‘‘sattāsvarūp vastuno kadī nāsh thato nathī. gnān (ātmā) paṇ pote sattāsvarūp vastu chhe, tethī te evun nathī ke jenī bījāo vaḍe rakṣhā karavāmān āve to rahe, nahi to naṣhṭa thaī jāy. gnānī ām jāṇato hovāthī tene arakṣhāno bhay nathī.

‘‘gupti eṭale jemān koī chor vagere pravesh na karī shake evo killo, bhonyarun vagere; temān prāṇī nirbhayapaṇe vasī shake chhe. evo gupta pradesh na hoy paṇ khullo pradesh hoy, to temān rahenār prāṇīne aguptapaṇāne līdhe bhay rahe chhe. gnānī jāṇe chhe ke vastunā nij svarūpamān koī bījun pravesh karī shakatun nathī, māṭe vastunun svarūp ja vastunī param gupti arthāt abhedya killo chhe. puruṣhanun arthāt ātmānun svarūp gnān chhe; te gnānasvarūpamān rahelo ātmā gupta chhe, kāraṇ ke gnānasvarūpamān bījun koī praveshī shakatun nathī. āvun jāṇatā gnānīne aguptipaṇāno bhay kyāthī hoy?

‘‘indriyādi prāṇo nāsh pāme tene loko maraṇ kahe chhe, parantu ātmāne paramārthe indriyādi prāṇ nathī, tene to gnān prāṇ chhe. gnān avināshī chheteno nāsh thato nathī; tethī ātmāne maraṇ nathī. gnānī ām jāṇato hovāthī tene maraṇano bhay nathī.

‘‘koī aṇadhāryun aniṣhṭa ekāek utpanna thashe to? evo bhay rahe te ākasmik bhay chhe. gnānī jāṇe chhe keātmānun gnān potāthī ja siddha, anādi, anant, achaḷ, ek chhe. temān bījun kāī utpanna thaī shakatun nathī; māṭe temān aṇadhāryun kāī paṇ kyāthī thāy? arthāt akasmāt kyāthī bane? āvun jāṇatā gnānīne akasmātano bhay kyāthī hoy? na ja hoy.’’1

इदानीं निष्कांक्षितत्वगुणं सम्यग्दर्शने दर्शयन्नाह

कर्मपरवशे सान्ते दुःखैरन्तरितोदये
पापबीजे सुखेऽनास्था श्रद्धानाकाङ्क्षणा स्मृता ।।१२।।

‘अनाकांक्षणा स्मृता’ निष्कांक्षितत्वं निश्चितं कासौ ? ‘श्रद्धा’ कथंभूता ? ‘अनास्था’ न विद्यते आस्था शाश्वतबुद्धिर्यस्यां अथवा न आस्था अनास्था तस्यां तया वा श्रद्धा अनास्थाश्रद्धा सा चाप्यनाकांक्षणेति स्मृता क्व अनास्थाऽरुचिः ? te ja vidhānathī - niyamathī thāy chhe. tene indra ke jinendra - tīrthaṅkaradev koī paṇ aṭakāvī shakatā nathī.’’2

ahīn niḥshaṅkitatvādine ‘guṇ’ kahyā chhe. tene trikāḷī guṇ na samajavo, paṇ paryāyamān te prakāranī shuddhatāno lābh samajavo, tene ‘aṅg - āchār - lakṣhaṇ’ vagere nāmo paṇ āpavāmān āve chhe. 11.

‘सुखे’ वैषयिके कथंभूते ? ‘कर्मपरवशे’ कर्मायत्ते तथा ‘सान्ते’ अन्तेन विनाशेन सह वर्तमाने तथा ‘दुःखैरन्तरितोदये’ दुःखैर्मानसशारीरैरन्तरित उदयः प्रादुर्भावो यस्य तथा ‘पापबीजे’ पापोत्पत्तिकारणे ।।१२।। aruchi? सुखे’ indriy - viṣhay sambandhī sukhamān. kevā (sukhamān)? कर्मपरवशे’ je karmādhīn chhe evā tathā सान्ते’ je ant - vināsh sahit chhe evā tathā दुःखैरन्तरितोदये’ jenā udayamān vachche vachche mānasik ane shārīrik duḥkho āve chhe evā tathā पापबीजे’ je pāpanī utpattinun kāraṇ chhe evā (sukhamān).

bhāvārtha :indriyajanit sukh (sānsārik sukh) karmane ādhīn chhe, antasahit (nāshavant) chhe, mānasik ane shārīrik duḥkhothī (arthāt ādhi, vyādhi ane upādhithī) khalel pāme chhe ane pāpanun mūḷ chhe, (pāpabandhanun kāraṇ chhe). tevā sukhamān kharekhar (sāchun) sukh chhe, evī āsthāpūrvak shraddhā na karavī te niḥkāṅkṣhit aṅg chhe.

indriyajanit sukh karmanā udayane ādhīn chhe, kāraṇ ke indriyasukhanān sādhano shātāvedanīy karmanā uday nimitte prāpta thāy chhe. te viṣhay - sādhano indradhanuṣhavat vījaḷīnā chamakārā jem kṣhaṇabhaṅgur chhe. ashātā vedanīy karmanā uday nimitte teno alpakāḷamān ant āve chhe, māṭe te antasahit chhe.

indriyasukh akhaṇḍ dhārāpravāharūp hotun nathī. tethī vāramvār anek duḥkhanā uday sahit hoy chhe. koī vakhat rog thāy, to kadī strī - putrādino viyog thāy, kadī dhananī hāni thāy, to kadī aniṣhṭa vastuono sanyog thāy. em te anek duḥkhothī antarit hoy chhe.

vaḷī indriyasukhamān ekatābuddhi hovāthī agnānī jīvo potānun vāstavik svarūp bhūlī pāpārambhamān pravr̥utti kare chhe, tethī tene pāpano bandh thāy chhe. āthī indriyasukh pāpanun bīj chhe.

āvā parādhīn, antasahit ane duḥkharūp indriyasukhamān samyagdraṣhṭine vāstavik sukh bhāsatun nathī, tethī tene te sāchun sukh chhe evī āsthārūp shraddhā kevī rīte hoy? ane shraddhā vinā tenī vāñchhā (ākāṅkṣhā) paṇ kem hoy? indriyasukh bhogavavānā kāḷe paṇ ākuḷatā ja hoy chhe, tethī te sukh nathī paṇ duḥkh ja chhe.

‘‘je indriyothī prāpta thāy chhe te sukh paranā sambandhavāḷun, bādhāsahit, vichchhinna, bandhanun kāraṇ ane viṣham chhe, te rīte te duḥkh ja chhe.’’1

niḥkāṅkṣhit aṅg viṣhe shrī samayasār gāthā 230mān kahyun chhe ke

‘‘je chetayitā karmonān phaḷ pratye tathā sarvadharmo pratye kāṅkṣhā (vāñchhā) karato nathī, te niṣhkāṅkṣha samyagdraṣhṭi jāṇavo.’’2

jene ātmānā svābhāvik sukhanī shraddhā hoy chhe te samyagdraṣhṭi hoy chhe. kevaḷagnānīo ātmik anantasukhane anubhave chhe. tevā anantasukhane ja jāṇe chhe, upādeyarūpe shraddhe chhe ane potānā ātmik sukhane anubhave chhe, te bhavya jīvo samyagdraṣhṭi chhe. je jīvone vāstavik sukhāmr̥utano anubhav hoy tene paradravyonī ane paradravyonā āshraye thatān indriyasukhanī ke anya dharmonī ākāṅkṣhā kem hoī shake? kadī na hoy.

teo potapotānā guṇasthān anusār, jo ke heyabuddhie viṣhayasukhane anubhave chhe, topaṇ nij shuddhātmabhāvanāthī utpanna atīndriy sukhane ja upādey māne chhe ane tethī temane shraddhāmān sānsārik sukhanī jarāpaṇ ākāṅkṣhā nathī. tethī samyagdraṣhṭi jīvone niḥkāṅkṣhit guṇ hoy chhe.3

visheṣh

‘‘je koī gnānī, shuddhātmānī bhāvanāthī utpanna thayelā paramānand sukhamān tr̥upta thaī, pañchendriyanā viṣhayasukhanā kāraṇabhūt karmaphaḷomān tem ja sarva vastuonā dharmomān athavā ā lok - paralokanī ichchhāo sambandhī, anya āgamamān kahelā samasta kudharmomān ichchhā karato nathī, te samyagdraṣhṭi sānsārik sukhamān niḥkāṅkṣhit jāṇavo.’’4 12. 1.parayukta, bādhāsahit, khaṇḍit, bandhakāraṇ, viṣham chhe;

‘निर्विचिकित्सता मता’ अभ्युपगता कासौ ? ‘निर्जुगुप्सा’ विचिकित्साभावः क्व ? काये किंविशिष्टे ? ‘स्वभावतोऽशुचौ’ स्वरूपेणापवित्रिते इत्थंभूतेऽपि काये ‘रत्नत्रयपवित्रिते’ रत्नत्रयेण पवित्रिते पूज्यतां नीते कुतस्तथाभूते निर्जुगुप्सा भवतीत्याह ‘गुणप्रीतिः’ यतो गुणेन रत्नत्रयाधारभूतमुक्तिसाधकत्वलक्षणेन प्रीतिर्मनुष्यशरीरमेवेदं मोक्षसाधकं नान्यद्देवादिशरीरमित्यनुरागः ततस्तत्र निर्जुगुप्सेति ।।१३।।

sharīr svabhāve apavitra chhe. maḷ - mūtrādi durgandhayukta padārthonun ghar chhe. vaḷī te ashuchi, vināshik ane anek rogonun raheṭhāṇ chhe, paṇ te kāraṇe te glāni ke dveṣh karavā yogya nathī.

samyagdraṣhṭi koīpaṇ paradravyone bhalān - būrān jāṇato nathī. vastu vichāratān koī paradravya to bhalān - būrān chhe ja nahi.1

par padārthomān ‘ā sārā ane ā narasā’ evun dvait chhe ja nahi. chhatān mohāchchhādit jīvo temān sārā-narasānun dvait ūbhun kare chhe ane ruchit viṣhayamān rāg ane aruchit viṣhayamān - padārthamān dveṣh kare chhe.2

samyagdraṣhṭi koīpaṇ jīvanān durgandhamay sharīrane dekhīne glāni karato nathī. bhāvaliṅgī munio nagna hoy chhe. temanān sharīrane durgandhavāḷun dekhīne ke te sharīranī apriy (būrī) ākr̥uti dekhīne te pratye te jarāpaṇ glāni karato nathī. te sharīr to ratnatrayadhārī jīvonun muktinun sahakārī kāraṇ chhe. em jāṇī tene vyavahār apekṣhāe pavitra jāṇe chhe ane te pratye glāni utpanna thavā deto nathī. ā teno nirvichikitsā guṇ chhe.

nishchay apekṣhāe pavitra to nishchay samyagdarshan-gnān-chāritranī ekatā chhe. jainamatamān badhī sārī vāto chhe, paṇ vastranā āvaraṇ rahitanī je nagnatā tathā jaḷ- snānādi kriyāno abhāve dūṣhaṇ chhe, evā kutsit bhāvone vishiṣhṭa vivekī gnānavāḷo samyagdraṣhṭi jīv dūr kare chhe. te paṇ nirvichikitsā guṇ chhe.3

‘कापथस्थेऽपि’ मिथ्यादर्शनाद्याधारेऽपि जीवे तथा ‘असंपृक्तिः’ न विद्यते सम्पृक्तिः कायेन नखच्छोटिकादिनाअंगुलिचालनेन शिरोधूननेन वा प्रशंसा यत्र ‘अनुत्कीर्तिः’ न विद्यते उत्कीर्तिरुत्कीर्तनं वाचा संस्तवनं यत्र मनोवाक्यायैर्मिथ्यादर्शनादीनां तद्वतां चाप्रशंसाकरणममूढं सम्यग्दर्शनमित्यर्थः ।।१४।। eṭalun ja nahi कापथस्थेऽपि’ mithyādarshanādinā ādhārabhūt jīvamān paṇ, jyān असंपृक्तिः’ kāyāthī samparka na hovo, arthāt nakh vaḍe, chapaṭī ādithī ke āṅgaḷī halāvīne ke mastak dhuṇāvīne prashansā na karavī tathā jyān अनुत्कीर्तिः’ vāṇīthī kīrtan ke stavan na hovun (te amūḍhatva guṇavishiṣhṭa draṣhṭi chhe - samyagdarshan chhe.) man - vachan - kāyāthī mithyādarshanādinī tathā tenā upāsakonī prashansā na karavī, te amūḍh samyagdarshan chhe - evo artha chhe.

bhāvārtha :narak, tiryañch, kumanuṣhyādi gatinān ghor duḥkhonān kāraṇabhūt mithyādarshanādirūp kumārgane ane tene anusaratī vyaktione manathī sammati na devī, kāyāthī sahāro ke samparka na karavo athavā chapaṭī ke māthun halāvī - dhuṇāvī prashansā na karavī ane vachanathī temanān guṇ - gān ke stavan na karavān te amūḍhadraṣhṭi aṅg chhe.

‘‘je chetayitā sarvabhāvomān amūḍh chhe - yathārtha draṣhṭivāḷo chhe te kharekhar amūḍhadraṣhṭi samyagdraṣhṭi jāṇavo.’’

‘‘samyagdraṣhṭi sarva padārthonā svarūpane yathārtha jāṇe chhe, tene rāg - dveṣh - mohano abhāv hovāthī tenī koī padārtha par ayathārtha draṣhṭi paḍatī nathī. chāritramohanā udayathī iṣhṭāniṣhṭa bhāvo ūpaje topaṇ tene udayanun baḷavānapaṇun jāṇīne te bhāvono pote kartā thato nathī.’’2

‘‘je ātmā potānā shuddhātmāmān shraddhān, gnān ane ācharaṇarūp nishchayaratnatray- svarūp bhāvanānā baḷathī shubh - ashubh karmajanit pariṇāmarūp bāhya padārthomān sarvathā asammūḍh hoy chhe (arthāt karmonā udayathī je duḥkharūp vā bāhya shātārūp padārthonī avasthāo thāy chhe, temān shok - harṣha nahi karatān tenā yathārtha svarūpane jāṇī tenā १. नखच्छोटिकादिना प्रशंसा घ० 2. sammūḍh nahi je sarva bhāve,satyadraṣhṭi dhārato,

अथोपगूहनगुणं तस्य प्रतिपादयन्नाह

स्वयं शुद्धस्य मार्गस्य बालाशक्तजनाश्रयाम्
वाच्यतां यत्प्रमार्जन्ति तद्वदन्त्युपगूहनम् ।।१५।।

‘तदुपगूहनं वदन्ति’ यत्प्रमार्जन्ति निराकुर्वन्ति प्रच्छादयन्तीत्यर्थः कां ? ‘वाच्यतां’ दोषं कस्य ? ‘मार्गस्य’ रत्नत्रयलक्षणस्य किंविशिष्टस्य ? ‘स्वयं शुद्धस्य’ स्वभावतो निर्मलस्य कथंभूतां ? ‘बालाशक्तजनाश्रयां’ बालोऽज्ञः, अशक्तो व्रताद्यनुष्ठाने- ऽसमर्थः स चासौ जनश्च स आश्रयो यस्याः अयमर्थहिताहितविवेकविकलं mohapāshamān paḍī mūrkha banato nathī.) te kharekhar amūḍhadraṣhṭi samyagdraṣhṭi jāṇavo.’’1

ātmatattva ane sharīrādik barhitattvono yathārtha nishchay thatān tenān phaḷasvarūp samasta mithyātva - rāgādi shubhāshubh saṅkalpa-vikalpomān iṣhṭabuddhi, ātmabuddhi, upādeyabuddhi, hitabuddhi ane mamatvabhāv chhoḍī vishuddha gnān - darshan svabhāvamān nishchay rahevun tenun nām sācho amūḍhadraṣhṭi guṇ chhe.2 14.

anvayārtha :[स्वयं ] svayam (svarūpathī) [शुद्धस्य ] shuddha (pavitra) [मार्गस्य ] mārganī (mokṣhamārganī) [बालाशक्तजनाश्रयाम् ] agnānī ane asamartha puruṣho dvārā utpanna thayelī [वाच्यतां ] nindāne [यत् प्रमार्जन्ति ] je dūr kare chhe - chhupāve chhe [तत् ] te pramārjanane (dūr karavun - chhupāvavun tene) [उपगूहनम् ] upagūhan aṅg [वदन्ति ] kahe chhe.

व्रताद्यनुष्ठानेऽसमर्थजनमाश्रित्यागतस्य रत्नत्रये तद्वर्ति वा दोषस्य यत् प्रच्छादनं तदुपगूहनमिति ।।१५।। ahitanā vivekarahit tathā vratādinā anuṣhṭhānamān asamartha evā janonā āshraye ratnatrayamān athavā tenā dhārak puruṣhomān āvelā doṣhone je ḍhāṅkavun (chhupāvavun) te upagūhan chhe.

bhāvārtha :jeo hitāhitanā vivekathī rahit chhe, agnānī chhe tathā jeo vratādikanun ācharaṇ karavāmān ashakta chheasamartha chhe tevā puruṣho dvārā, ratnatrayarūp mokṣhamārga sambandhī yā mokṣhamārganā upāsako sambandhī je nindā thaī hoy tene pragaṭ na karavī (chhupāvavī) te upagūhan aṅg chhe.

ekano doṣh dekhī samasta dharma yā sarva dharmātmāo dūṣhit thashe em jāṇī samyagdraṣhṭi koī sādharmīnā doṣhane pragaṭ karato nathī. āmān doṣhane uttejan āpavāno teno hetu nathī, parantu je dharma pratye tenī prīti chhe tenī nindā na thāy te jovāno teno pradhān hetu chhe.

‘‘je chetayitā siddhanī (shuddhātmānī) bhakti sahit chhe ane paravastunā sarva dharmone gopavanār chhe (arthāt rāgādi parabhāvomān joḍāto nathī) te upagūhanakārī samyagdraṣhṭi jāṇavo.’’

‘‘samyagdraṣhṭi upagūhan guṇ sahit chhe. upagūhan eṭale gopavavun te. ahīn nishchayanayane pradhān karīne kahyun chhe ke samyagdraṣhṭie potāno upayog siddhabhaktimān joḍelo ane jyān upayog siddhabhaktimān joḍyo tyān anya dharmo par draṣhṭi ja na rahī, tethī te sarva anya dharmono gopavanār chhe ane ātmashaktino vadhāranār chhe.

ā guṇanun bījun nām ‘upabr̥unhaṇ’ paṇ chhe. upabr̥unhaṇ eṭale vadhāravun te. samyagdraṣhṭie potāno upayog siddhanā svarūpamān joḍelo hovāthī tenā ātmānī sarva shaktio vadhe chhe, ātmā puṣhṭa thāy chhe, māṭe te upabr̥unhaṇ guṇavāḷo chhe.’’1 15. 1.je siddhabhaktisahit chhe, upagūhak chhe sau dharmano,

अथ स्थितीकरणगुणं सम्यग्दर्शनस्य दर्शयन्नाह

दर्शनाच्चरणाद्वापि चलतां धर्मवत्सलैः
प्रत्यवस्थापनं प्राज्ञैः स्थितीकरणमुच्यते ।।१६।।

‘स्थितीकरणं’ अस्थितस्य दर्शनादेश्चलितस्य स्थितकरणं स्थितीकरणमुच्यते कैः ? प्राज्ञैस्तद्विचक्षणैः किं तत् ? ‘प्रत्यवस्थापनं’ दर्शनादौ पूर्ववत् पुनरप्यवस्थापनं केषां ? ‘चलतां’ कस्मात् ? दर्शनाच्चरणाद्वापि कैस्तेषां प्रत्यवस्थापनं ? ‘धर्मवत्सलैः’ धर्मवात्सल्ययुक्तैः ।।१६।।

anvayārtha :[दर्शनात् ] samyagdarshanathī [वा ] athavā [चरणात् ] samyakchāritrathī [अपि ] paṇ [चलतां ] chalit thatā - ḍagatā jīvone [धर्मवत्सलैः ] dharmapremī jīvo dvārā [प्रत्यवस्थापनम् ] pharīthī temān (dharmamān) pūrvavat sthāpavā tene [प्राज्ञैः ] vidvāno dvārā [स्थितीकरण ] sthitikaraṇ aṅg [उच्यते ] kahevāmān āvyun chhe.

ṭīkā :स्थितीकरणं’ - asthit - darshan ādithī chalit thayelāne pharīthī sthir karavo te sthitikaraṇ chhe. धर्मवत्सलैः’ dharmamān sneh rākhavāvāḷā puruṣho dvārā दर्शनाच्चरणाद्वापि चलतां’ darshan athavā chāritrathī paṇ chalit thayelāone paṇ प्रत्यवस्थापन’ darshanādimān pūrvavat pharīthī sthāpan karavo tene प्राज्ञैः’ vichakṣhaṇ puruṣho dvārā स्थितीकरणमुच्यते’ sthitikaraṇ guṇ kahevāy chhe.

bhāvārtha :rog, daridratā, chamatkār, pralobhan, mithyā upadeshādi kāraṇothī samyagdarshan ane samyakchāritrathī ḍagatā - chalit thatā jīvone yogya upadesh āpī dharmapremīo dvārā pharīthī dharmamān lagāḍavā (sthir karavā), tene vidvāno sthitikaraṇ guṇ - aṅg kahe chhe.
