यतश्च सम्यग्दर्शनसम्पन्नो गृहस्थोऽपि तदसम्पन्नान्मुनेरुत्कृष्टतरस्ततोऽपि सम्यग्दर्शनमेवोत्कृष्टमित्याह — te siddhi prāpta karī shakato nathī.’’1
jo vr̥ukṣhanān mūḷano nāsh karavāmān āve to vr̥ukṣhanān thaḍ, ḍāḷān, pāndaḍān vagere thoḍā samay pachhī sūkāīne nāsh pāme chhe, tem samyagdarshananā abhāvamān sanyam pāḷavā chhatān te niṣhphaḷ jāy chhe.2 paṇ mūḷane surakṣhit rākhī thaḍ, ḍāḷān vagere kāpī nākhavāmān āve to te vr̥ukṣha pharīthī vr̥uddhi pāmī pallavit ādi thāy chhe, tem jo samyagdarshanarūpī mūḷ surakṣhit hoy to chāritrathī bhraṣhṭa thayelo puruṣh pharīthī chāritra grahaṇ karī siddhi prāpta kare chhe.
samyagdarshan utkr̥uṣhṭa ane karṇadhār hovāthī te pratham dhāraṇ karavun joīe. te chothā guṇasthāne prāpta thāy chhe ane shrāvakanun chāritra pāñchamā guṇasthāne dhāraṇ karī shakāy chhe, tethī pāñchamā guṇasthān yogya chāritra – kriyā pahelī ane samyagdarshan bhaviṣhyamān prāpta thāy tevī samajaṇ ane mānyatā jainatattvathī viruddha chhe.
‘‘......koī jīv evun māne chhe ke – jāṇavāmān shun chhe, kanīk karīshun to phaḷ prāpta thashe. evun vichārīne teo vrat – tapādi kriyānā ja udyamī rahe chhe, paṇ tattvagnānano upāy karatā nathī. have tattvagnān vinā mahāvratādikanun ācharaṇ paṇ mithyāchāritra nām ja pāme chhe tathā tattvagnān thatān kāī paṇ vratādik na hoy topaṇ te asanyat samyagdraṣhṭi nām pāme chhe, māṭe pahelān tattvagnānano upāy karavo, pachhī kaṣhāy ghaṭāḍavā arthe bāhya sādhan karavān.’’
shrī yogendradev kr̥ut shrāvakāchāramān kahyun chhe ke —
arthaḥ — he jīv! ā samyagdarshan bhūmi vinā vratarūp vr̥ukṣha na thāy, māṭe samyagdarshan pratham prāpta karavun joīe.3 32.
kāraṇ ke samyagdarshanayukta gr̥uhastha paṇ tenāthī (samyagdarshanathī) asampannarahit munithī utkr̥uṣhṭa chhe, te kāraṇathī paṇ samyagdarshan ja utkr̥uṣhṭa chhe em kahe chhe — १. दंसण भट्टा भट्टा दंसण भट्टस्स णत्थि णिव्वाणं ।
