कुतोऽव्रत – व्रतविकल्पपरित्यागे परमपदप्राप्तिरित्याह —

bhAvArtha : — avrat ashubh bhAv chhe tathA vrat shubh bhAv chhe, banne Asravo chhe. te banne chhoDavA yogya chhe tevI shraddhA to antarAtmAne chhe, paN te banne ekI sAthe chhoDI shakAtAn nahi hovAthI te pratham ashubhabhAvarUp avratone chhoDI shubhabhAvarUp vratomAn atanmay bhAve varte chhe. pachhI puruShArtha vadhArI vItarAg padanI prApti mATe A shubhabhAvarUp vratono paN tyAg kare chhe.
jyAn sudhI samyagdraShTi shuddhopayogarUp na pariName, tyAn sudhI tene ashubhathI bachavA mATe pUjA, bhakti, vrat, tap, sanyam, shIlAdinA shubh bhAv Ave chhe, parantu temAn tene heyabuddhi varte chhe. tene te dharma mAnato nathI.
samyaktva vinA vratAdinA shubh vikalpone vyavahArathI chAritra nAm paN prApta thatun nathI, arthAt mithyAdraShTinA shubh vikalpone to vyavahArathI paN chAritra kahetA nathI, te bAl vrat, tapAdi kahevAy chhe. tevA shubh vikalpo sansAranun kAraN chhe. mokShanun kAraN nathI, chhatAn koI tene mokShanun paramparA paN kAraN mAne to te tenI mUlamAn bhUl chhe. 84.
