टीका — अपुण्यमधर्मः अव्रतैर्हिंसादिविकल्पैः परिणतस्य भवति । पुण्यं धर्मो व्रतैः हिंसादिविरतिविकल्पैः परिणतस्य भवति । मोक्षः पुनस्तस्योः पुण्यापुण्ययोर्व्ययो विनाशो मोक्षः । यथैव jIv) svarUpanun grahaN ane parano tyAg karavAnI vidhi vaDe potAnA vastutvano (yathArtha svarUpano) abhyAs karavA mATe ‘A sva chhe (arthAt AtmasvarUp chhe) ane A par chhe’ evo bhed paramArthe jANIne svamAn rahe chhe (Take chhe) ane parathI rAganA yogathI – sarva prakAre virame chhe.’’1

(तयोः) banneno – puNya ane pApano – (व्ययः) nAsh te (मोक्षः) mokSha chhe; (ततः) tethI (मोक्षार्थी) mokShanA abhilAShI puruShe (अव्रतानि इव) avratonI mAphak (व्रतानि अपि) vratono paN (त्यजेत्) tyAg karavo.
