देहेऽस्मिन् अस्मिन्कर्मवशाद्गृहीते देहे । विदेहनिष्पत्तेः विदेहस्य सर्वथा देहत्यागस्य निष्पत्तेर्मुक्तिप्राप्तेः पुनर्बीजं स्वात्मन्येवात्मभावना ।।७४।।
तर्हि मुक्तिप्राप्तिहेतुः क श्चिद्गुरुर्भविष्यतीति वदन्तं प्रत्याह – kāraṇ. kyun? ātmabhāvanā. shāmān? ā dehamān eṭale karmavash grahelā ā dehamān. videhaniṣhpattinun – videhanī arthāt sarvathā dehatyāganī niṣhpattinun eṭale mukti prāptinun bīj potānā ātmamān ja ātmabhāvanā (karavī te) chhe.
bhāvārtha : sharīramān ātmabuddhi karavāthī eṭale sharīrane ja ātmā mānavāthī anya bhavamān paṇ sharīranī ja prāpti thāy chhe ane potānā ātmāmān ja – nij svarūpamān ja ātmabuddhi karavāthī arthāt ātmāne ja ātmā mānavāthī mukti thāy chhe – dehano sambandh sarvathā chhūṭī jāy chhe.
māṭe pharīthī sharīranī prāpti na thāy — punarbhav karavo na paḍe te māṭe gnānīe sharīramān ātmabuddhino tyāg karīne potānā ātmāmān ja ātma-bhāvanā karavī e ja yogya chhe.
‘‘jyān sudhī dehapradhān viṣhayomān mamatva chhoḍato nathī, tyān sudhī karmathī malin ātmā pharī pharīne anya anya prāṇo dhāraṇ kare chhe.’’1
‘‘je indriyādino vijayī thaīne upayogamātra ātmāne dhyāve chhe te karmo vaḍe rañjit thato nathī; tene prāṇo kaī rīte anusare? (arthāt tene prāṇono sambandh thato nathī.)’’2
‘‘je agnānī jīv (sharīrādik) pudgal dravyane abhinande chhe — arthāt tene potānun māne chhe – temān ātmīy bhāv kare chhe, te jīvanī sāthe sanyog-sambandh chāre gatiomān te pudgal dravya chhoḍatun nathī.’’3 74
to mukti-prāptino hetu koī guru hashe — evun bolanār prati kahe chhe. 1. karme malin jīv tyān lagī prāṇo dhare chhe pharī pharī,
