टीका — जातिलिंगरूपः विकल्पो भेदस्तेन येषां शैवादिनां समयाग्रहः आगमानुबंधः उत्तमजातिविशिष्टं हि लिंग मुक्तिहेतुरित्यागमे प्रतिपादितमतस्तावन्मात्रेणैव मुक्तिरित्येवंरूपो येषामागमाभिनिवेशः तेऽपि न प्राप्नुवन्त्येव परमं पदमात्मनः ।।८९।।
anvayārtha : — (येषां) jemane (जातिलिंगविकल्पेन) jāti ane liṅganā vikalpathī mukti thāy chhe evo (समयाग्रहः) āgam sambandhī āgrah chhe (ते अपि) teo paṇ (आत्मनः परं पदं) ātmānā param padane (न प्राप्नुवन्ति एव) prāpta karī shakatā ja nathī.
ṭīkā : — jāti ane liṅgarūp vikalpa eṭale bhed tenāthī je shaivādine samayano āgrah eṭale āgamano āgrah chhe – arthāt uttam jātivishiṣhṭa liṅg ja muktinun kāraṇ chhe evun āgamamān pratipādan karyun chhe, tethī te mātrathī ja mukti chhe – evo jene āgamano abhinivesh (āgrah) chhe, teo paṇ ātmānā param padane prāpta karī shakatā ja nathī.
bhāvārtha : — jāti ane liṅg banne dehāshrit chhe. tenā taraphanā vikalpathī rāg thāy chhe, ane rāg te sansār chhe. tethī je evun māne chhe ke āgamamān jāti ane liṅgathī mokṣha thāy chhe em pratipādan karyun chhe, te haṭhāgrahī chhe ane āgamanā svarūpathī taddan agnāt chhe. vītarāgī āgam to kahe chhe ke vītarāgatāthī ja mokṣhanī prāpti thāy, ane vītarāgatā thatān bāhya liṅgādi hoy kharān, paṇ tenā āshraye mokṣha na thāy, tenā vikalpathī paṇ mokṣha na thāy. jāti, liṅg ne te sambandhī vikalpathī mokṣha thāy em mānanārā samayāgrahī chhe – samayanā jāṇakār nathī.
liṅg e mokṣhanun sāchun kāraṇ nathī. tenun pratipādan karatān shrī kundakundāchārye shrī samayasāramān kahyun chhe ke —
‘‘bahu prakāranān muni – liṅgone athavā gr̥uhī – liṅgone grahaṇ karīne mūḍh (agnānī)jano em kahe chhe ke ‘ā (bāhya) liṅg mokṣhamārga chhe.’ parantu liṅg mokṣhamārga nathī, kāraṇ ke arhantadevo deh pratye nirmam vartatā thakā liṅgane chhoḍīne darshan – gnān – chāritrane ja seve chhe.
jeo bahu prakāranān muniliṅgomān athavā gr̥uhasthaliṅgomān mamakār kare chhe (arthāt dravyaliṅg ja mokṣhanun denār chhe em māne chhe), temaṇe samayasārane nathī jāṇyo.
jeo kharekhar ‘hun shramaṇ chhun, hun shramaṇopāsak (shrāvak) chhun’ em dravyaliṅgamān mamakār vaḍe mithyā ahaṅkār kare chhe, teo ‘anādirūḍh’ (anādikāḷathī chālyā āvelā) vyavahāramān
