नामूर्तत्वमुपास्य पश्यति जगज्जीवस्य तत्त्वं ततः ।
व्यक्तं व्यञ्जितजीवतत्त्वमचलं चैतन्यमालम्ब्यताम् ।।४२।।
anant chhe arthAt koI kALe jeno vinAsh nathI, [अचलं] je achaL chhe arthAt je kadI chaitanyapaNAthI anyarUp – chaLAchaL – thatun nathI, [स्वसंवेद्यम्] je svasamvedya chhe arthAt je pote potAthI ja jaNAy chhe [तु] ane [स्फु टम्] je pragaT chhe arthAt chhUpun nathI — evun je [इदं चैतन्यम्] A chaitanya [उच्चैः] atyantapaNe [चकचकायते] chakachakAT prakAshI rahyun chhe, [स्वयं जीवः] te pote ja jIv chhe.
bhAvArtha — varNAdi ane rAgAdi bhAvo jIv nathI paN upar kahyo tevo chaitanyabhAv te ja jIv chhe. 41.

shlokArtha — [यतः अजीवः अस्ति द्वेधा] ajIv be prakAre chhe — [वर्णाद्यैः सहितः] varNAdisahit [तथा विरहितः] ane varNAdirahit; [ततः] mATe [अमूर्तत्वम् उपास्य] amUrtapaNAno Ashray karIne paN (arthAt amUrtapaNAne jIvanun lakShaN mAnIne paN) [जीवस्य तत्त्वं] jIvanA yathArtha svarUpane [जगत् न पश्यति] jagat dekhI shakatun nathI; — [इति आलोच्य] Am parIkShA karIne [विवेचकैः] bhedagnAnI puruShoe [न अव्यापि अतिव्यापि वा] avyApti ane ativyApti dUShaNothI rahit [चैतन्यम्] chetanapaNAne jIvanun lakShaN kahyun chhe [समुचितं] te yogya chhe. [व्यक्तं] te chaitanyalakShaN pragaT chhe, [व्यञ्जित-जीव-तत्त्वम्] teNe jIvanA yathArtha svarUpane pragaT karyun chhe ane [अचलं] te achaL chhe — chaLAchaLatA rahit, sadA mojUd chhe. [आलम्ब्यताम्] jagat tenun ja avalamban karo! (tenAthI yathArtha jIvanun grahaN thAy chhe.)
