यो हि नित्यमेवाच्छिन्नधारावाहिना ज्ञानेन शुद्धमात्मानमुपलभमानोऽवतिष्ठते स ज्ञानमयात् भावात् ज्ञानमय एव भावो भवतीति कृत्वा प्रत्यग्रकर्मास्रवणनिमित्तस्य रागद्वेषमोहसन्तानस्य निरोधाच्छुद्धमेवात्मानं प्राप्नोति; यस्तु नित्यमेवाज्ञानेनाशुद्धमात्मानमुपलभमानोऽवतिष्ठते
bhāvārthaḥ — jene bhedavignān thayun chhe te ātmā jāṇe chhe ke ‘ātmā kadī gnānasvabhāvathī chhūṭato nathī’. āvun jāṇato hovāthī te, karmanā uday vaḍe tapta thayo thako paṇ, rāgī, dveṣhī, mohī thato nathī parantu nirantar shuddha ātmāne anubhave chhe. jene bhedavignān nathī te ātmā, ātmānā gnānasvabhāvane nahi jāṇato thako, rāgane ja ātmā māne chhe tethī te rāgī, dveṣhī, mohī thāy chhe parantu kadī shuddha ātmāne anubhavato nathī. māṭe e nakkī thayun ke bhedavignānathī ja shuddha ātmānī upalabdhi thāy chhe.
have pūchhe chhe ke shuddha ātmānī upalabdhithī ja samvar kaī rīte thāy chhe? teno uttar kahe chheḥ —
gāthārthaḥ — [ शुद्धं तु ] shuddha ātmāne [ विजानन् ] jāṇato – anubhavato [ जीवः ] jīv [ शुद्धं च एव आत्मानं ] shuddha ātmāne ja [ लभते ] pāme chhe [ तु ] ane [ अशुद्धम् ] ashuddha [ आत्मानं ] ātmāne [ जानन् ] jāṇato – anubhavato jīv [ अशुद्धम् एव ] ashuddha ātmāne ja [ लभते ] pāme chhe.
ṭīkāḥ — je sadāy achchhinnadhārāvāhī gnānathī shuddha ātmāne anubhavyā kare chhe te, ‘gnānamay bhāvamānthī gnānamay bhāv ja thāy chhe’ e nyāye navān karmanā āsravaṇanun nimitta je rāgadveṣhamohanī santati (paramparā) teno nirodh thavāthī, shuddha ātmāne ja pāme chhe; ane je sadāy agnānathī ashuddha ātmāne anubhavyā kare chhe te, ‘agnānamay bhāvamānthī agnānamay
