दर्शनस्य सद्भावात्; शुद्ध आत्मैव चारित्रस्याश्रयः, षड्जीवनिकायसद्भावेऽसद्भावे वा तत्सद्भावेनैव चारित्रस्य सद्भावात् ।
स्ते शुद्धचिन्मात्रमहोऽतिरिक्ताः ।
मिति प्रणुन्नाः पुनरेवमाहुः ।।१७४।।
asadbhāvamān tenā (arthāt shuddha ātmānā) sadbhāvathī ja darshanano sadbhāv chhe; shuddha ātmā ja chāritrano āshray chhe, kāraṇ ke chha jīv-nikāyanā sadbhāvamān ke asadbhāvamān tenā (arthāt shuddha ātmānā) sadbhāvathī ja chāritrano sadbhāv chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — āchārāṅg ādi shabdashrutanun jāṇavun, jīvādi nav padārthonun shraddhān karavun tathā chha kāyanā jīvonī rakṣhā — e sarva hovā chhatān abhavyane gnān, darshan, chāritra nathī hotān, tethī vyavahāranay to niṣhedhya chhe; ane shuddhātmā hoy tyān gnān, darshan, chāritra hoy ja chhe, tethī nishchayanay vyavahārano niṣhedhak chhe. māṭe shuddhanay upādey kahyo chhe.
have āgaḷanā kathananī sūchanānun kāvya kahe chheḥ —
shlokārthaḥ — ‘‘[रागादयः बन्धनिदानम् उक्ताः] rāgādikane bandhanān kāraṇ kahyā ane vaḷī [ते शुद्ध-चिन्मात्र-महः-अतिरिक्ताः] temane shuddhachaitanyamātra jyotithī (arthāt ātmāthī) bhinna kahyā; [तद्-निमित्तम्] tyāre te rāgādikanun nimitta [किमु आत्मा वा परः] ātmā chhe ke bījun koī?’’ [इति प्रणुन्नाः पुनः एवम् आहुः] evā (shiṣhyanā) prashnathī prerit thayā thakā āchāryabhagavān pharīne ām (nīche pramāṇe) kahe chhe. 174.
