kahānajainashāstramāḷā ]
आत्मबन्धौ हि तावन्नियतस्वलक्षणविज्ञानेन सर्वथैव छेत्तव्यौ; ततो रागादिलक्षणः समस्त एव बन्धो निर्मोक्तव्यः, उपयोगलक्षणः शुद्ध आत्मैव गृहीतव्यः । एतदेव किलात्म- बन्धयोर्द्विधाकरणस्य प्रयोजनं यद्बन्धत्यागेन शुद्धात्मोपादानम् ।
‘ātmā ane bandhane dvidhā karīne shun karavun’ em pūchhavāmān āvatān have teno uttar kahe chheḥ —
gāthārthaḥ — [तथा] e rīte [जीवः बन्धः च] jīv ane bandh [नियताभ्याम् स्वलक्षणाभ्यां] temanān nishchit svalakṣhaṇothī [छिद्येते] chhedāy chhe. [बन्धः] tyān, bandhane [छेत्तव्यः] chhedavo arthāt chhoḍavo [च] ane [शुद्धः आत्मा] shuddha ātmāne [गृहीतव्यः] grahaṇ karavo.
ṭīkāḥ — ātmā ane bandhane pratham to temanān niyat svalakṣhaṇonā vignānathī sarvathā ja chhedavā arthāt bhinna karavā; pachhī, rāgādik jenun lakṣhaṇ chhe evā samasta bandhane to chhoḍavo ane upayog jenun lakṣhaṇ chhe evā shuddha ātmāne ja grahaṇ karavo. ā ja kharekhar ātmā ane bandhane dvidhā karavānun prayojan chhe ke bandhanā tyāgathī (arthāt bandhano tyāg karī) shuddha ātmānun grahaṇ karavun.
bhāvārthaḥ — shiṣhye pūchhyun hatun ke ātmā ane bandhane dvidhā karīne shun karavun? teno ā uttar āpyo ke bandhano to tyāg karavo ane shuddha ātmānun grahaṇ karavun.
(‘ātmā ane bandhane bhinna to pragnā vaḍe karyā parantu ātmāne grahaṇ shā vaḍe karāy?’ — evā prashnanī tathā tenā uttaranī gāthā kahe chheḥ —
