यतो द्रव्यलिङ्गं न मोक्षमार्गः, ततः समस्तमपि द्रव्यलिङ्गं त्यक्त्वा दर्शनज्ञानचारित्रेष्वेव, मोक्षमार्गत्वात्, आत्मा योक्तव्य इति सूत्रानुमतिः ।
bhāvārthaḥ — mokṣha chhe te sarva karmanā abhāvarūp ātmapariṇām ( – ātmānā pariṇām) chhe, māṭe tenun kāraṇ paṇ ātmānā pariṇām ja hovun joīe. darshan - gnān - chāritra ātmānā pariṇām chhe; māṭe nishchayathī te ja mokṣhano mārga chhe.
liṅg chhe te dehamay chhe; deh chhe te pudgaladravyamay chhe; māṭe ātmāne deh mokṣhano mārga nathī. paramārthe anya dravyane anya dravya kāī karatun nathī e niyam chhe.
jo ām chhe (arthāt jo dravyaliṅg mokṣhamārga nathī ane darshanagnānachāritra ja mokṣhamārga chhe) to ām (nīche pramāṇe) karavun — em have upadesh kare chheḥ —
gāthārthaḥ — [तस्मात्] māṭe [सागारैः] sāgāro vaḍe ( – gr̥uhastho vaḍe) [अनगारकैः वा] athavā aṇagāro vaḍe ( – munio vaḍe) [गृहीतानि] grahāyelān [लिङ्गानि] liṅgone [जहित्वा] chhoḍīne, [दर्शनज्ञानचारित्रे] darshanagnānachāritramān — [मोक्षपथे] ke je mokṣhamārga chhe temān — [आत्मानं युंक्ष्व] tun ātmāne joḍ.
ṭīkāḥ — kāraṇ ke dravyaliṅg mokṣhamārga nathī, tethī samasta dravyaliṅgane chhoḍīne darshanagnānachāritramān ja, te (darshanagnānachāritra) mokṣhamārga hovāthī, ātmāne joḍavāyogya chhe — em sūtranī anumati chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — ahīn dravyaliṅgane chhoḍī ātmāne darshanagnānachāritramān joḍavānun vachan chhe te sāmānya paramārtha vachan chhe. koī samajashe ke muni - shrāvakanān vrato chhoḍāvavāno upadesh chhe. parantu em nathī. jeo kevaḷ dravyaliṅgane ja mokṣhamārga jāṇī bhekh dhāraṇ kare chhe, temane dravyaliṅgano
