ये खलु श्रमणोऽहं श्रमणोपासकोऽहमिति द्रव्यलिङ्गममकारेण मिथ्याहङ्कारं कुर्वन्ति, तेऽनादिरूढव्यवहारमूढाः प्रौढविवेकं निश्चयमनारूढाः परमार्थसत्यं भगवन्तं समयसारं न पश्यन्ति ।
have ā arthanī gāthā kahe chheḥ —
gāthārthaḥ — [ये] jeo [बहुप्रकारेषु] bahu prakāranān [पाषण्डिलिङ्गेषु वा] muniliṅgomān [गृहिलिङ्गेषु वा] athavā gr̥uhasthaliṅgomān [ममत्वं कुर्वन्ति] mamatā kare chhe (arthāt ā dravyaliṅg ja mokṣhanun denār chhe em māne chhe), [तैः समयसारः न ज्ञातः] temaṇe samayasārane nathī jāṇyo.
ṭīkāḥ — jeo kharekhar ‘hun shramaṇ chhun, hun shramaṇopāsak ( – shrāvak) chhun’ em dravyaliṅgamān mamakār vaḍe mithyā ahaṅkār kare chhe, teo anādirūḍh (anādi kāḷathī chālyā āvelā) vyavahāramān mūḍh (mohī) vartatā thakā, prauḍh vivekavāḷā nishchay ( – nishchayanay) par 1anārūḍh vartatā thakā, paramārthasatya ( – je paramārthe satyārtha chhe evā) bhagavān samayasārane dekhatā – anubhavatā nathī.
bhāvārthaḥ — anādi kāḷano paradravyanā sanyogathī thayelo je vyavahār temān ja je puruṣho mūḍh arthāt mohit chhe, teo em māne chhe ke ‘ā bāhya mahāvratādirūp bhekh chhe te ja amane mokṣha prāpta karāvashe’, parantu jenāthī bhedagnān thāy chhe evā nishchayane teo jāṇatā nathī. āvā puuruṣho satyārtha, paramātmarūp, shuddhagnānamay samayasārane dekhatā nathī.
have ā ja arthanun kaḷasharūp kāvya kahe chheḥ —
1. anārūḍh = nahi ārūḍh; nahi chaḍelā.
