rāgādikataiṁ karmakau, bandha jāni munirāy .
tajaiṁ tinahiṁ samabhāv kari, namūn̐ sadā tin pān̐y ..

pratham ṭīkākār kahate haiṁ ki ‘ab bandha praveś karatā hai’ . jaise nr̥tyamaṁc par svān̐g praveś karatā hai usīprakār raṁgabhūmimeṁ bandhatattvakā svān̐g praveś karatā hai .

usameṁ pratham hī, sarva tattvoṁko yathārtha jānanevālā samyagjñān bandhako dūr karatā huā pragaṭ hotā hai, is arthakā maṁgalarūp kāvya kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[rāg-udgār-mahārasen sakalaṁ jagat pramattaṁ kr̥tvā ] jo (bandha) rāgake udayarūp mahāras(madirā)ke dvārā samasta jagatako pramatta (matavālā) ka rake, [ras-bhāv-nirbhar- mahānāṭayen krīḍantaṁ bandhaṁ ] rasake bhāvase (rāgarūp matavālepanase) bhare hue mahā nr̥tyake dvārā khel (nāc) rahā hai aise bandhako [dhunat ] uṛātādūr ka ratā huā, [jñānaṁ ] jñān [samunmajjati ] udayako prāpta hotā hai . vah jñān [ānanda-amr̥t-nitya-bhoji ] ānaṁdarūp amr̥takā nitya bhojan ka ranevālā hai, [sahaj-avasthāṁ sphu ṭaṁ nāṭayat ] apanī jñātr̥kriyārūp sahaj avasthāko pragaṭ nacā rahā hai, [dhīr-udāram ] dhīr hai, udār (arthāt mahān vistāravālā, niścal) hai, [anākulaṁ ] anāku la hai (arthāt jisameṁ kiṁcit bhī āku latākā kāraṇ nahīṁ hai), [nirūpadhi ] upādhi rahit (arthāt parigrah rahit yā jisameṁ kiñcit bhī paradravya sambandhī grahaṇ-tyāg nahīṁ hai aisā) hai .

bhāvārtha :bandhatattvane ‘raṁgabhūmimeṁ’ praveś kiyā hai, use dūr karake jo jñān svayaṁ pragaṭ hokar nr̥tya karegā, us jñānakī mahimā is kāvyameṁ pragaṭ kī gaī hai . aise ananta jñānasvarūp jo ātmā vah sadā pragaṭ raho .163.

ab bandhatattvake svarūpakā vicār karate haiṁ; usameṁ pahile bandhake kāraṇako spaṣṭatayā batalāte haiṁ :

jis rīt koī puruṣ mardan āp karake telakā .
vyāyām karatā śastrase, bahu rajabhare sthānak khaṛā ..237..
aru tāṛ, kadalī, bān̐s ādik chinnabhinna bahū kare .
upaghāt āp sacitta avaru acitta dravyoṁkā kare ..238..
bahu bhān̐tike karaṇādise upaghāt karate usahiko .

(yahān̐ vicār karo ki) inameṁse us puruṣake bandhakā kāraṇ kaun hai ? pahale, jo svabhāvase hī bahutasī dhūlise bharī huī bhūmi hai vah dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīṁ hai; kyoṁki yadi aisā ho to jinhoṁne tailādikā mardan nahīṁ kiyā hai aise us bhūmimeṁ rahe hue puruṣoṁko bhī dhūlibandhakā prasaṁg ā jāegā . śastroṁkā vyāyāmarūp karma bhī dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīṁ hai; kyoṁki yadi aisā ho to jinhoṁne telādikā mardan nahīṁ kiyā hai unake bhī śastravyāyāmarūp kriyāke karanese dhūlibandhakā prasaṁg ā jāegā . anek prakārake kāraṇ bhī dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīṁ haiṁ; kyoṁki yadi aisā ho to jinhoṁne tailādikā mardan nahīṁ kiyā hai unake bhī anek prakārake kāraṇoṁse dhūlibandhakā prasaṁg ā jāegā . sacitta tathā acitta vastuoṁkā ghāt bhī dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīṁ hai; kyoṁki yadi aisā ho to jinhoṁne tailādikā mardan nahīṁ kiyā unheṁ bhī sacitta tathā acitta vastuoṁkā ghāt karanese dhūlibandhakā prasaṁg ā jāegā . isalie nyāyake balase hī yah phalit (siddha) huā ki, us puruṣameṁ tailādikā mardan karanā bandhakā kāraṇ hai . isīprakārmithyādr̥ṣṭi apanemeṁ rāgādik karatā huā, svabhāvase hī jo bahutase karmayogya pudgaloṁse bharā huā hai aise lokameṁ kāy-vacan-manakā karma (kriyā) karatā huā, anek prakārake karaṇoṁke dvārā sacitta tathā acitta vastuoṁkā ghāt karatā huā, karmarūp rajase ban̐dhatā hai . bhāvārtha :yahān̐ niścayanayako pradhān karake kathan hai . jahān̐ nirbādh hetuse siddhi hotī hai vahī niścay hai . bandhakā kāraṇ vicār karane par nirbādhatayā yahī siddha huā ki mithyādr̥ṣṭi puruṣ jin rāgadveṣamohabhāvoṁko apane upayogameṁ karatā hai ve rāgādik hī bandhakā kāraṇ haiṁ . unake atirikta anyabahu karmayogya pudgaloṁse paripūrṇa lok, kāy-vacan-manake yog, anek karaṇ tathā cetan-acetanakā ghātbandhake kāraṇ nahīṁ haiṁ; yadi unase bandha hotā ho to siddhoṁke, yathākhyāt cāritravānoṁke, kevalajñāniyoṁke aur samitirūp pravr̥tti karanevāle muniyoṁke bandhakā prasaṁg ā jāegā . parantu unake to bandha hotā nahīṁ hai . isalie in hetuoṁmeṁ (kāraṇoṁmeṁ) vyabhicār (doṣ) āyā . isalie yah niścay hai ki bandhakā kāraṇ rāgādik hī haiṁ .

yahān̐ samitirūp pravr̥tti karanevāle muniyoṁkā nām liyā gayā hai aur avirat, deśaviratakā nām nahīṁ liyā; isakā yah kāraṇ hai kiavirat tathā deśaviratake bāhyasamitirūp pravr̥tti nahīṁ hotī, isalie cāritramoh sambandhī rāgase kiṁcit bandha hotā hai; isalie sarvathā bandhake abhāvakī apekṣāmeṁ unakā nām nahīṁ liyā . vaise antaraṅgakī apekṣāse to unheṁ bhī nirbandha hī jānanā cāhie ..237 se 241.. 1karaṇ = indriyān̐ .

ab is arthakā kalaśarūp kāvya kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[bandhakr̥t ] ka rmabandhako ka ranevālā kāraṇ, [na karmabahulaṁ jagat ] na to bahut ka rmayogya pudgaloṁse bharā huā lok hai, [na calanātmakaṁ karma vā ] na calanasvarūp ka rma (arthāt kāy-vacan-manakī kriyārūp yog) hai, [na naikakaraṇāni ] na anek prakārake ka raṇ haiṁ [vā na cid-acid-vadhaḥ ] aur na cetan-acetanakā ghāt hai . kintu [upayogabhūḥ rāgādibhiḥ yad- aikyam samupayāti ] ‘upayogabhū’ arthāt ātmā rāgādik ke sāth jo aikyako prāpta hotā hai [saḥ ev kevalaṁ ] vahī ek (mātra rāgādik ke sāth ek tva prāpta karanā vahī) [kil ] vāstavameṁ [nr̥ṇām bandhahetuḥ bhavati ] puruṣoṁke bandhakā kāraṇ hai .

bhāvārtha :yahān̐ niścayanayase ekamātra rāgādikako hī bandhakā kāraṇ kahā hai .164.

samyagdr̥ṣṭi upayogameṁ rāgādik nahīṁ karatā, upayogakā aur rāgādikā bhed jānakar rāgādik kā svāmī nahīṁ hotā, isalie use pūrvokta ceṣṭāse bandha nahīṁ hotāyah kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[karmatataḥ lokaḥ saḥ astu ] isalie vah (pūrvokta) bahut ka rmoṁse (ka rmayogya pudgaloṁse) bharā huā lok hai so bhale raho, [parispandātmakaṁ karma tat ca astu ] vah kāy-vacan-manakā calanasvarūp ka rma (yog) hai so bhī bhale raho, [tāni karaṇāni asmin santu ] ve (pūrvokta) ka raṇ bhī usake bhale raheṁ [ca ] aur [tat cid-acid- vyāpādanaṁ astu ] vah cetan-acetanakā ghāt bhī bhale ho, paraṁtu [aho ] aho! [ayam samyagdr̥g-ātmā ] yah samyagdr̥ṣṭi ātmā, [rāgādīn upayogabhūmim anayan ] rāgādik ko upayogabhūmimeṁ na lātā huā, [kevalaṁ jñānaṁ bhavan ] ke val (ek) jñānarūp pariṇamit hotā huā, [kutaḥ api bandham dhruvam na ev upaiti ] kisī bhī kāraṇase niścayataḥ bandhako prāpta nahīṁ hotā . bhāvārtha :yahān̐ samyagdr̥ṣṭikī adbhut mahimā batāī hai, aur yah kahā hai ki lok, yog, karaṇ, caitanya-acaitanyakā ghātve bandhake kāraṇ nahīṁ haiṁ . isakā artha yah nahīṁ hai ki parajīvakī hiṁsāse bandhakā honā nahīṁ kahā, isalie svacchanda hokar hiṁsā karanī . kintu yahān̐ yah āśay hai ki abuddhipūrvak kadācit parajīvakā ghāt bhī ho jāye to usase bandha nahīṁ hotā . kintu jahān̐ buddhipūrvak jīvoṁko māraneke bhāv hoṁge vahān̐ to apane upayogameṁ rāgādikā astitva hogā aur usase vahān̐ hiṁsājanya bandha hogā hī . jahān̐ jīvako jilānekā abhiprāy ho vahān̐ bhī arthāt us abhiprāyako bhī niścayanayameṁ mithyātva kahā hai, tab phi ra jīvako māranekā abhiprāy mithyātva kyoṁ na hogā ? avaśya hogā . isaliye kathanako nayavibhāgase yathārtha samajhakar śraddhān karanā cāhie . sarvathā ekānta mānanā mithyātva hai .165.

ab uparokta bhāvārthameṁ kathit āśayako pragaṭ karaneke lie, kāvya kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[tathāpi ] tathāpi (arthāt lok ādi kāraṇoṁse bandha nahīṁ kahā aur rāgādik se hī bandha ka hā hai tathāpi) [jñānināṁ nirargalaṁ caritum na iṣyate ] jñāniyoṁko nirargal (svacchandatāpūrvak) pravartanā yogya nahīṁ hai, [sā nirargalā vyāpr̥tiḥ kil tad-āyatanam ev ] kyoṁki vah nirargal pravartan vāstavameṁ bandhakā hī sthān hai . [jñānināṁ akām-kr̥t-karma tat akāraṇam matam ] jñāniyoṁke vān̐chārahit karma (kārya) hotā hai vah bandhakā kāraṇ nahīṁ ka hā, kyoṁki [jānāti ca karoti ] jānatā bhī hai aur (ka rmako ) ka ratā bhī hai[dvayaṁ kimu na hi virudhyate ] yah donoṁ kriyāen̐ kyā virodharūp nahīṁ haiṁ ? bhāvārtha :pahale kāvyameṁ lok ādiko bandhakā kāraṇ nahīṁ kahā, isalie vahān̐ yah nahīṁ samajhanā cāhie ki bāhyavyavahārapravr̥ttikā bandhake kāraṇoṁmeṁ sarvathā hī niṣedh kiyā hai; bāhyavyavahārapravr̥tti rāgādi pariṇāmakībandhake kāraṇakīnimittabhūt hai, us nimittakā yahān̐ niṣedh nahīṁ samajhanā cāhie . jñāniyoṁke abuddhipūrvakvān̐chā rahitpravr̥tti hotī hai, isaliye bandha nahīṁ kahā hai, unheṁ kahīṁ svacchanda hokar pravartaneko nahīṁ ka hā hai; kyoṁki maryādā rahit (niraṁkuś) pravartanā to bandhakā hī kāraṇ hai . jānanemeṁ aur karanemeṁ to paraspar virodh hai; jñātā rahegā to bandha nahīṁ hogā, kartā hogā to avaśya bandha hogā .166.

‘‘jo jānatā hai so karatā nahīṁ aur jo karatā hai so jānatā nahīṁ; karanā to karmakā rāg hai, aur jo rāg hai so ajñān hai tathā ajñān bandhakā kāraṇ hai .’’is arthakā kāvya kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[yaḥ jānāti saḥ na karoti ] jo jānatā hai so ka ratā nahīṁ [tu ] aur [yaḥ karoti ayaṁ khalu jānāti na ] jo ka ratā hai so jānatā nahīṁ . [tat kil karmarāgaḥ ] ka ranā to vāstavameṁ ka rmarāg hai [tu ] aur [rāgaṁ abodhamayam adhyavasāyam āhuḥ ] rāgako (muniyoṁne) ajñānamay adhyavasāy ka hā hai; [saḥ niyataṁ mithyādr̥śaḥ ] jo ki vah (ajñānamay adhyavasāy) niyamase mithyādr̥ṣṭike hotā hai [ca ] aur [saḥ bandhahetuḥ ] vah bandhakā kāraṇ hai .167.

ab mithyādr̥ṣṭike āśayako gāthāmeṁ spaṣṭa kahate haiṁ :
jo mānatāmaiṁ mārun̐ par aru ghāt par merā kare .
so mūḍh hai, ajñāni hai, viparīt isase jñāni hai ..247..

gāthārtha :[yaḥ ] jo [manyate ] yah mānatā hai ki [hinasmi ca ] ‘maiṁ par jīvoṁko māratā hūn̐ [paraiḥ sattvaiḥ hiṁsye ca ] aur par jīv mujhe mārate haiṁ ’, [saḥ ] vah [mūḍhaḥ ] mūḍh (mohī) hai, [ajñānī ] ajñānī hai, [tu ] aur [ataḥ viparītaḥ ] isase viparīt (jo aisā nahīṁ mānatā vah) [jñānī ] jñānī hai .

ṭīkā :‘maiṁ par jīvoṁko māratā hūn̐ aur par jīv mujhe mārate haiṁ ’aisā 1adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase (niyamase, niścayataḥ) ajñān hai . vah adhyavasāy jisake hai vah ajñānīpaneke kāraṇ mithyādr̥ṣṭi hai; aur jisake vah adhyavasāy nahīṁ hai vah jñānīpaneke kāraṇ samyagdr̥ṣṭi hai .

bhāvārtha :‘parajīvoṁko maiṁ māratā hūn̐ aur parajīv mujhe mārate haiṁ’ aisā āśay ajñān hai, isalie jisakā aisā āśay hai vah ajñānī haimithyādr̥ṣṭi hai aur jisakā aisā āśay nahīṁ hai vah jñānī haisamyagdr̥ṣṭi hai .

niścayanayase kartākā svarūp yah hai :svayaṁ svādhīnatayā jis bhāvarūp pariṇamit ho us 1adhyavasāy = mithyā abhiprāy; āśay .

bhāvakā svayaṁ kartā kahalātā hai . isalie paramārthataḥ koī kisīkā maraṇ nahīṁ karatā . jo parase parakā maraṇ mānatā hai, vah ajñānī hai . nimitta-naimittikabhāvase kartā kahanā so vyavahāranayakā kathan hai; use yathārthatayā (apekṣāko samajh kar) mānanā so samyagjñān hai ..247..

ab yah praśna hotā hai ki yah adhyavasāy ajñān kaise hai ? usake uttar svarūp gāthā kahate haiṁ :

hai āyukṣayase maraṇ jīvakā, ye hi jinavarane kahā .
tū āyu to haratā nahīṁ, taiṁne maraṇ kaise kiyā ? ..248..
hai āyukṣayase maraṇ jīvakā, ye hi jinavarane kahā .
ve āyu tujh harate nahīṁ, to maraṇ tujh kaise kiyā ? ..249..

gāthārtha :(he bhāī ! tū jo yah mānatā hai ki ‘maiṁ par jīvoṁko māratā hūn̐ ’ so yah terā ajñān hai .) [jīvānāṁ ] jīvoṁkā [maraṇaṁ ] maraṇ [āyuḥkṣayeṇ ] āyuk rmake kṣayase hotā hai aisā [jinavaraiḥ ] jinavaroṁne [prajñaptam ] ka hā hai; [tvaṁ ] tū [āyuḥ ] par jīvoṁke āyuk rmako to [na harasi ] haratā nahīṁ hai, [tvayā ] to tūne [teṣām maraṇaṁ ] unakā maraṇ [kathaṁ ] kaise [kr̥taṁ ] kiyā ?

jīvanādhyavasāyasya tadvipakṣasya kā vārteti cet [jinavaraiḥ ] jinavaroṁne [prajñaptam ] ka hā hai; par jīv [tav āyuḥ ] tere āyuk rmako to [na haranti ] harate nahīṁ haiṁ, [taiḥ ] to unhoṁne [te maraṇaṁ ] terā maraṇ [kathaṁ ] kaise [kr̥taṁ ] kiyā ?

ṭīkā :pratham to, jīvoṁkā maraṇ vāstavameṁ apane āyukarmake kṣayase hī hotā hai, kyoṁki apane āyukarmake kṣayake abhāvameṁ maraṇ honā aśakya hai; aur dūsarese dūsarekā sva- āyukarma haraṇ nahīṁ kiyā jā sakatā, kyoṁki vah (sva-āyukarma) apane upabhogase hī kṣayako prāpta hotā hai; isaliye kisī bhī prakārase koī dūsarā kisī dūsarekā maraṇ nahīṁ kar sakatā . isaliye ‘maiṁ par jīvoṁko māratā hūn̐, aur par jīv mujhe mārate haiṁ’ aisā adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase (niyamase) ajñān hai .

bhāvārtha :jīvakī jo mānyatā ho tadanusār jagatameṁ nahīṁ banatā ho, to vah mānyatā ajñān hai . apane dvārā dūsarekā tathā dūsarese apanā maraṇ nahīṁ kiyā jā sakatā, tathāpi yah prāṇī vyartha hī aisā mānatā hai so ajñān hai . yah kathan niścayanayakī pradhānatāse hai .

vyavahār isaprakār hai :paraspar nimitta-naimittikabhāvase paryāyakā jo utpād-vyay ho use janma-maraṇ kahā jātā hai; vahān̐ jisake nimittase maraṇ (paryāyakā vyay) ho usake sambandhameṁ yah kahā jātā hai ki ‘isane ise mārā’, yah vyavahār hai .

yahān̐ aisā nahīṁ samajhanā ki vyavahārakā sarvathā niṣedh hai . jo niścayako nahīṁ jānate, unakā ajñān miṭāneke lie yahān̐ kathan kiyā hai . use jānaneke bād donoṁ nayoṁko avirodharūpase jānakar yathāyogya nay mānanā cāhie ..248 se 249..

ab punaḥ praśna hotā hai ki ‘‘(maraṇakā adhyavasāy ajñān hai yah kahā so jān liyā; kintu ab) maraṇake adhyavasāyakā pratipakṣī jo jīvanakā adhyavasāy hai usakā kyā hāl hai ?’’ usakā uttar kahate haiṁ :

bhāvārtha :yah mānanā ajñān hai ki ‘par jīv mujhe jilātā hai aur maiṁ parako jilātā hūn̐’ . jisake yah ajñān hai vah mithyādr̥ṣṭi hai; tathā jisake yah ajñān nahīṁ hai vah samyagdr̥ṣṭi hai ..250..

jītavya jīvakā āyudayase, ye hi jinavarane kahā .

gāthārtha :[yaḥ ] jo [iti manyate ] yah mānatā hai ki [ātmanā tu ] apane dvārā [sattvān ] maiṁṁ (par) jīvoṁko [duḥkhitasukhitān ] duḥkhī-sukhī [karomi ] karatā hūn̐, [saḥ ] vah [mūḍhaḥ ] mūḍh (mohī) hai, [ajñānī ] ajñānī hai, [tu ] aur [ataḥ viparītaḥ ] jo isase viparīt hai vah [jñānī ] jñānī hai .

ṭīkā :‘par jīvoṁko maiṁ duḥkhī tathā sukhī karatā hūn̐ aur par jīv mujhe duḥkhī tathā sukhī karate haiṁ ’ isaprakārakā adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase ajñān hai . vah adhyavasāy jisake hai vah jīv ajñānīpaneke kāraṇ mithyādr̥ṣṭi hai; aur jisake vah adhyavasāy nahīṁ hai vah jīv jñānīpaneke kāraṇ samyagdr̥ṣṭi hai .

bhāvārtha :yah mānanā ajñān hai ki‘maiṁ par jīvoṁko duḥkhī yā sukhī karatā hūn̐ aur parajīv mujhe duḥkhī yā sukhī karate haiṁ’ . jisake yah ajñān hai vah mithyādr̥ṣṭi hai; aur jisake yah ajñān nahīṁ hai vah jñānī haisamyagdr̥ṣṭi hai ..253..

ṭīkā :pratham to, jīvoṁko sukh-duḥkh vāstavameṁ apane karmodayase hī hotā hai, kyoṁki apane karmodayake abhāvameṁ sukh-duḥkh honā aśakya hai; aur apanā karma dūsare dvārā dūsareko nahīṁ diyā jā sakatā, kyoṁki vah (apanā karma) apane pariṇāmase hī upārjit hotā hai; isaliye kisī bhī prakārase dūsarā dūsareko sukh-duḥkh nahīṁ kar sakatā . isaliye yah adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase ajñān hai ki ‘maiṁ par jīvoṁko sukhī-duḥkhī karatā hūn̐ aur par jīv mujhe sukhī-duḥkhī karate haiṁ’ .

bhāvārtha :jīvakā jaisā āśay ho tadanusār jagatameṁ kārya na hote hoṁ to vah āśay ajñān hai . isaliye, sabhī jīv apane apane karmodayase sukhī-duḥkhī hote haiṁ, vahān̐ yah mānanā ki ‘maiṁ parako sukhī-duḥkhī karatā hūn̐ aur par mujhe sukhī-duḥkhī karatā hai’, so ajñān hai . nimitta -naimittikabhāvake āśrayase (kisīko kisīke) sukh-duḥkhakā karanevālā kahanā so vyavahār hai; jo ki niścayakī dr̥ṣṭimeṁ gauṇ hai ..254 se 256..

ab is arthakā kalaśarūp kāvya kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[ih ] is jagatameṁ [maraṇ-jīvit-duḥkh-saukhyam ] jīvoṁke maraṇ, jīvit, duḥkh, sukh[sarvaṁ sadaiv niyataṁ svakīy-karmodayāt bhavati ] sab sadaiv niyamase (niścitarūpase) apane ka rmodayase hotā hai; [paraḥ pumān parasya maraṇ-jīvit-duḥkh-saukhyam kuryāt ] ‘dūsarā puruṣ dūsareke maraṇ, jīvan, duḥkh, sukhako karatā hai’ [yat tu ] aisā jo mānanā, [etat ajñānam ] vah to ajñān hai .168.

punaḥ isī arthako dr̥rḥ karanevālā aur āgāmī kathanakā sūcak kāvya kahate haiṁ :

ślokārtha :[etat ajñānam adhigamya ] is (pūrvakathit mānyatārūp) ajñānako prāpta karake [ye parāt parasya maraṇ-jīvit-duḥkh-saukhyam paśyanti ] jo puruṣ parase parake maraṇ, jīvan, duḥkh, sukhako dekhate haiṁ arthāt mānate haiṁ, [te ] ve puruṣ[ahaṁkr̥tirasen ka rmāṇi cikīrṣavaḥ ] jo ki isaprakār ahaṁkārarasase ka rmoṁko karaneke icchuk haiṁ (arthāt ‘maiṁ in karmoṁko karatā hūn̐’ aise ahaṁkārarūp rasase jo ka rma ka ranekīmārane-jilānekī, sukhī-duḥkhī ka ranekī vān̐chā ka ranevāle haiṁ) ve[niyatam ] niyamase [mithyādr̥śaḥ ātmahanaḥ bhavanti ] mithyādr̥ṣṭi hai, apane ātmākā ghāt ka ranevāle haiṁ .

bhāvārtha :jo parako mārane-jilānekā tathā sukh-duḥkh karanekā abhiprāy rakhate haiṁ ve mithyādr̥ṣṭi haiṁ . ve apane svarūpase cyut hote hue rāgī, dveṣī, mohī hokar svataḥ hī apanā ghāt karate haiṁ, isaliye ve hiṁsak haiṁ .169.

ab isī arthako gāthāoṁ dvārā kahate haiṁ :
maratā dukhī hotā ju jīvsab karma-udayoṁse bane .
‘mujhase marā aru dukhi huā’kyā mat na tujh mithyā are ? ..257..
aru nahiṁ mare, nahiṁ dukhi bane, ve karma-udayoṁse bane .
‘maiṁne na mārā dukhi karā’kyā mat na tujh mithyā are ? ..258..

ṭīkā :jo maratā hai yā jītā hai, duḥkhī hotā hai yā sukhī hotā hai, yah vāstavameṁ apane karmodayase hī hotā hai, kyoṁki apane karmodayake abhāvameṁ usakā vaisā honā (maranā, jīnā, duḥkhī yā sukhī honā) aśakya hai . isaliye aisā dekhanevālā arthāt mānanevālā mithyādr̥ṣṭi hai ki ‘maiṁne ise mārā, ise jilāyā, ise duḥkhī kiyā, ise sukhī kiyā’ .
