ṭīkā :jo pahale agnānase ban̐dhe hue mithyātva, avirati, kaṣhāy aur yogarūp dravyāsravabhūt pratyay hain, ve anyadravyasvarūp pratyay achetan pudgalapariṇāmavāle hain, isaliye gnānīke liye miṭṭīke ḍheleke samān hain (jaise miṭṭī ādi pudgalaskandha hain vaise hī yah pratyay hain); ve to samasta hī, svabhāvase hī mātra kārmaṇ sharīrake sāth ban̐dhe hue hainsambandhayukta hain, jīvake sāth nahīn; isaliye gnānīke svabhāvase hī dravyāsravakā abhāv siddha hai .

bhāvārtha :gnānīke jo pahale agnānadashāmen ban̐dhe hue mithyātvādi dravyāsravabhūt pratyay hain ve to miṭṭīke ḍhelekī bhān̐ti pudgalamay hain, isaliye ve svabhāvase hī amūrtik chaitanyasvarūp jīvase bhinna hain . unakā bandha athavā sambandha pudgalamay kārmaṇasharīrake sāth hī hai, chinmay jīvake sāth nahīn . isaliye gnānīke dravyāsravakā abhāv to svabhāvase hī hai . (aur gnānīke bhāvāsravakā abhāv honese, dravyāsrav navīn karmoṅke āsravaṇake kāraṇ nahīn hote, isaliye is dr̥uṣhṭise bhī gnānīke dravyāsravakā abhāv hai .)..169..

gnānī hi tāvadāsravabhāvabhāvanābhiprāyābhāvānnirāsrav ev . yattu tasyāpi dravyapratyayāḥ pratisamayamanek prakāran pudgalakarma badhnanti, tatra gnānaguṇapariṇām ev hetuḥ .

bhāvārtha :gnānīke rāgadveṣhamohasvarūp bhāvāsravakā abhāv huā hai aur vah dravyāsravase to sadā hī svayamev bhinna hī hai, kyoṅki dravyāsrav pudgalapariṇāmasvarūp hai aur gnānī chaitanyasvarūp hai . isaprakār gnānīke bhāvāsrav tathā dravyāsravakā abhāv honese vah nirāsrav hī hai .115.

ab yah prashna hotā hai ki gnānī nirāsrav kaise haiain? usake uttarasvarūp gāthā kahate hain :

chauvidhāsrav samay samay ju, gnānadarshan guṇahise .
bahubhed bān̐dhe karma, isase gnāni bandhak nāhin hai ..170..

gāthārtha :[yasmāt ] kyoṅki [chaturvidhāḥ ] chār prakārake dravyāsrav [gnānadarshan- guṇābhyām ] gnānadarshanaguṇoṅke dvārā [samaye samaye ] samay samay par [anek bhedan ] anek prakārakā ka rma [badhnanti ] bān̐dhate hain, [ten ] isaliye [gnānī tu ] gnānī to [abandhaḥ iti ] abandha hai .

ṭīkā :pahale, gnānī to āsravabhāvakī bhāvanāke abhiprāyake abhāvake kāraṇ nirāsrav hī hai; parantu jo use bhī dravyapratyay prati samay anek prakārakā pudgalakarma bān̐dhate hain, vahān̐ gnānaguṇakā pariṇaman hī kāraṇ hai ..170..

gnānaguṇasya hi yāvajjaghanyo bhāvaḥ tāvat tasyāntarmuhūrtavipariṇāmitvāt punaḥ punaranya- tayāsti pariṇāmaḥ . sa tu, yathākhyātachāritrāvasthāyā adhastādavashyambhāvirāgasadbhāvāt, bandhaheturev syāt .

jo gnānaguṇakī jaghanatāmen, vartatā guṇ gnānakā .

gāthārtha :[yasmāt tu ] kyoṅki [gnānaguṇaḥ ] gnānaguṇ, [jaghanyāt gnānaguṇāt ] jaghanya gnānaguṇake kāraṇ [punarapi ] phi rase bhī [anyatvan ] anyarūpase [pariṇamate ] pariṇaman karatā hai, [ten tu ] isaliye [saḥ ] vah (gnānaguṇ) [bandhak : ] ka rmoṅkā bandhak [bhaṇitaḥ ] ka hā gayā hai .

ṭīkā :jab tak gnānaguṇakā jaghanya bhāv hai (kṣhāyopashamik bhāv hai) tab tak vah (gnānaguṇ) antarmuhūrtamen vipariṇāmako prāpta hotā hai, isaliye punaḥ punaḥ usakā anyarūp pariṇaman hotā hai . vah (gnānaguṇakā jaghanya bhāvase pariṇaman), yathākhyātachāritra-avasthāke nīche avashyambhāvī rāgakā sadbhāv honese, bandhakā kāraṇ hī hai .

bhāvārtha :kṣhāyopashamikagnān ek gney par antarmuhūrta hī ṭhaharatā hai, phi ra vah avashya hī anya gneyako avalambatā hai; svarūpamen bhī vah antarmuhūrta hī ṭik sakatā hai, phi ra vah vipariṇāmako prāpta hotā hai . isaliye aisā anumān bhī ho sakatā hai ki samyagdr̥uṣhṭi ātmā savikalpa dashāmen ho yā nirvikalpa anubhavadashāmen house yathākhyātachāritra-avasthā honeke pūrva avashya hī rāgabhāvakā sadbhāv hotā hai; aur rāg honese bandha bhī hotā hai . isaliye gnānaguṇake jaghanya bhāvako bandhakā hetu kahā gayā hai ..171..

yo hi gnānī sa buddhipūrvakarāgadveṣhamoharūpāsravabhāvābhāvāt nirāsrav ev . kintu so‘pi yāvajgnānan sarvotkr̥uṣhṭabhāven draṣhṭun gnātumanucharitun vā‘shaktaḥ san jaghanyabhāvenaiv gnānan pashyati jānātyanucharati cha tāvattasyāpi, jaghanyabhāvānyathānupapattyā‘numīyamānābuddhipūrvakakalamvipāk- sadbhāvāt, pudgalakarmabandhaḥ syāt . atastāvajgnānan draṣhṭavyan gnātavyamanucharitavyan cha yāvajgnānasya yāvān pūrṇo bhāvastāvān dr̥uṣhṭo gnāto‘nucharitashcha samyagbhavati . tataḥ sākṣhāt gnānībhūtaḥ sarvathā nirāsrav ev syāt .

gāthārtha :[yat ] kyoṅki [darshanagnānachāritran ] darshan-gnān-chāritra [jaghanyabhāven ] jaghanya bhāvase [pariṇamate ] pariṇaman karate hain, [ten tu ] isaliye [gnānī ] gnānī [vividhen ] anek prakārake [pudgalak rmaṇā ] pudgalak rmase [badhyate ] ban̐dhatā hai .

ṭīkā :jo vāstavamen gnānī hai, usake buddhipūrvak (ichchhāpūrvak) rāgadveṣhamoharūp āsravabhāvoṅkā abhāv hai isaliye, vah nirāsrav hī hai . parantu vahān̐ itanā visheṣh hai kivah gnānī jab tak gnānako sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa bhāvase dekhane, jānane aur ācharaṇ karanemen ashakta vartatā huā jaghanya bhāvase hī gnānako dekhatā jānatā aur ācharaṇ karatā hai tab tak use bhī, jaghanyabhāvakī anyathā anupapattike dvārā (jaghanya bhāv anya prakārase nahīn banatā isaliye) jisakā anumān ho sakatā hai aise abuddhipūrvak karmakalaṅkake vipākakā sadbhāv honese, pudgalakarmakā bandha hotā hai, isaliye tabatak gnānako dekhanā, jānanā aur ācharaṇ karanā chāhiye jab tak gnānakā jitanā pūrṇa bhāv hai utanā dekhane, jānane aur ācharaṇamen bhalībhān̐ti ā jāye . tabase lekar sākṣhāt gnānī hotā huā (vah ātmā) sarvathā nirāsrav hī hotā hai .

dekh sakatā hai, na jān sakatā hai aur na ācharaṇ kar sakatā hai, kintu jaghanya bhāvase dekh sakatā hai, jān sakatā hai aur ācharaṇ kar sakatā hai; isase yah gnāt hotā hai ki us gnānīke abhī abuddhipūrvak karmakalaṅkakā vipāk (chāritramohasambandhī rāgadveṣh) vidyamān hai aur isase usake bandha bhī hotā hai . isaliye use yah upadesh hai kijab tak kevalagnān utpanna na ho tab tak nirantar gnānakā hī dhyān karanā chāhiye, gnānako hī dekhanā chāhiye, gnānako hī jānanā chāhiye aur gnānakā hī ācharaṇ karanā chāhiye . isī mārgase darshan-gnān-chāritrakā pariṇaman barḥatā jātā hai aur aisā karate karate kevalagnān pragaṭ hotā hai . jab kevalagnān pragaṭatā hai tabase ātmā sākṣhāt gnānī hai aur sarva prakārase nirāsrav hai .

jab tak kṣhāyopashamik gnān hai tab tak abuddhipūrvak (chāritramohakā) rāg hone par bhī, buddhipūrvak rāgake abhāvakī apekṣhāse gnānīke nirāsravatva kahā hai aur abuddhipūrvak rāgakā abhāv hone par tathā kevalagnān pragaṭ hone par sarvathā nirāsravatva kahā hai . yah, vivakṣhākī vichitratā hai . apekṣhāse samajhane par yah sarva kathan yathārtha hai ..172..

bhāvārtha :gnānīne samasta rāgako hey jānā hai . vah rāgako miṭāneke liye udyam karatā hai; usake āsravabhāvakī bhāvanākā abhiprāy nahīn hai; isaliye vah sadā nirāsrav hī kahalātā hai .

. isaprakār sakal paravr̥uttiko ukhāṛ karake kevalagnān pragaṭ karatā hai .

‘buddhipūrvak’ aur ‘abuddhipūrvak’ kā artha isaprakār hai :jo rāgādipariṇām ichchhā sahit hote hain so buddhipūrvak hain aur jo ichchhā rahitparanimittakī balavattāse hote hain so abuddhipūrvak hain . gnānīke jo rāgādipariṇām hote hain ve sabhī abuddhipūrvak hī hain; savikalpa dashāmen honevāle rāgādipariṇām gnānīko gnāt to hain tathāpi ve abuddhipūrvak hain, kyoṅki ve binā hī ichchhāke hote hain .

(paṇḍit rājamalajīne is kalashakī ṭīkā karate hue ‘buddhipūrvak’ aur ‘abuddhipūrvak’ kā artha isaprakār kiyā hai :jo rāgādipariṇām manake dvārā, bāhya viṣhayoṅkā avalamban lekar pravartate hue jīvako svayaṅko gnāt hote hain tathā dūsaroṅko bhī anumānase gnāt hote hain ve pariṇām buddhipūrvak hain; aur jo rāgādipariṇām indriy-manake vyāpārake atirikta mātra mohodayake nimittase hote hain tathā jīvako gnāt nahīn hote ve abuddhipūrvak hain . in abuddhipūrvak pariṇāmoṅko pratyakṣha gnānī jānatā hai aur unake avinābhāvī chihnonse ve anumānase bhī gnāt hote hain .) .116.

ab shiṣhyakī āshaṅkākā shlok kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[sarvasyām ev dravyapratyayasantatau jīvantyān ] gnānīke samasta dravyāsravakī santati vidyamān hone par bhī [kutaḥ ] yah kyon kahā hai ki [gnānī ] gnānī [nityam ev ] sadā hī [nirāsravaḥ ] nirāsrav hai ?’[iti chet matiḥ ] yadi terī yah mati (āshaṅkā) hai to ab usakā uttar kahā jātā hai .117.

ab, pūrvokta āshaṅkāke samādhānārtha gāthā kahate hain :

ṭīkā :jaise pahale to tatkālakī pariṇīt bāl strī anupabhogya hai, kintu yauvanako prāpta vah pahalekī pariṇīt strī yauvanāvasthāmen upabhogya hotī hai aur jisaprakār upabhogya ho tadanusār vah, puruṣhake rāgabhāvake kāraṇ hī, puruṣhako bandhan karatī haivashamen karatī hai, isīprakār jo pahale to sattāvasthāmen anupabhogya hain, kintu vipāk-avasthāmen upabhogayogya hote hain aise pudgalakarmarūp dravyapratyay hone par bhī ve upayogake prayog anusār (arthāt dravyapratyayoṅke upabhogamen upayog prayukta ho tadanusār), karmodayake kāryarūp jīvabhāvake sadbhāvake kāraṇ hī, bandhan karate hain . isaliye gnānīke yadi pūrvabaddha dravyapratyay vidyamān hain, to bhale rahen; tathāpi vah (gnānī) to nirāsrav hī hai, kyoṅki karmodayakā kārya jo rāgadveṣhamoharūp āsravabhāv hai usake abhāvamen dravyapratyay bandhake kāraṇ nahīn hain . (jaise yadi puruṣhako rāgabhāv ho to hī yauvanāvasthāko prāpta strī use vash kar sakatī hai isīprakār jīvake āsravabhāv ho tab hī udayaprāpta dravyapratyay navīn bandha kar sakate hain .)

bhāvārtha :dravyāsravoṅke uday aur jīvake rāgadveṣhamohabhāvakā nimitta-naimittikabhāv hai . dravyāsravoṅke uday binā jīvake bhāvāsrav nahīn ho sakatā aur isaliye bandha bhī nahīn ho sakatā . dravyāsravoṅkā uday hone par jīv jaise usamen yukta ho arthāt jisaprakār use bhāvāsrav ho usīprakār dravyāsrav navīn bandhake kāraṇ hote hain . yadi jīv bhāvāsrav na kare to usake navīn bandha nahīn hotā .

samyagdr̥uṣhṭike mithyātvakā aur anantānubandhī kaṣhāyakā uday na honese use usaprakārake bhāvāsrav to hote hī nahīn aur mithyātva tathā anantānubandhī kaṣhāy sambandhī bandha bhī nahīn hotā . (kṣhāyik samyagdr̥uṣhṭike sattāmense mithyātvakā kṣhay hote samay hī anantānubandhī kaṣhāyakā tathā tatsambandhī avirati aur yogabhāvakā bhī kṣhay ho gayā hotā hai, isaliye use usaprakārakā bandha nahīn hotā; aupashamik samyagdr̥uṣhṭike mithyātva tathā anantānubandhī kaṣhāy mātra upashamamensattāmen hī honese sattāmen rahā huā dravya udayamen āye binā usaprakārake bandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hotā; aur kṣhāyopashamik samyagdr̥uṣhṭiko bhī samyaktvamohanīyake atirikta chhah prakr̥itiyān̐ vipāk-udayamen nahīn ātī, isaliye usaprakārakā bandha nahīn hotā .)

aviratasamyagdr̥uṣhṭi ityādike jo chāritramohakā uday vidyamān hai usamen jisaprakār jīv yukta hotā hai usīprakār use navīn bandha hotā hai; isaliye guṇasthānoṅke varṇanamen avirat-samyagdr̥uṣhṭi ādi guṇasthānommen amuk amuk prakr̥itiyoṅkā bandha kahā hai, kintu vah bandha alpa hai, isaliye use sāmānya sansārakī apekṣhāse bandhamen nahīn ginā jātā . samyagdr̥uṣhṭi chāritramohake udayamen svāmitvabhāvase yukta nahīn hotā, vah mātra asthiratārūpase yukta hotā hai; aur asthiratārūp yuktatā nishchayadr̥uṣhṭimen yuktatā hī nahīn hai . isaliye samyagdr̥uṣhṭike rāgadveṣhamohakā abhāv kahā gayā hai . jab tak jīv karmakā svāmitva rakhakar karmodayamen pariṇamit hotā hai tab tak hī vah karmakā kartā hai; udayakā gnātādr̥uṣhṭā hokar parake nimittase mātra asthiratārūp pariṇamit hotā hai tab kartā nahīn; kintu gnātā hī hai . is apekṣhāse, samyagdr̥uṣhṭi honeke bād chāritramohake udayarūp pariṇamit hote hue bhī use gnānī aur abandhak kahā gayā hai . jab tak mithyātvakā uday hai aur usamen yukta hokar jīv rāgadveṣhamohabhāvase pariṇamit hotā hai tab tak hī use agnānī aur bandhak kahā jātā hai . isaprakār gnānī-agnānī aur bandha-abandhakā yah bhed jānanā . aur shuddha svarūpamen līn rahaneke abhyās dvārā kevalagnān pragaṭ honese jab jīv sākṣhāt sampūrṇagnānī hotā hai tab vah sarvathā nirāsrav ho jātā hai yah pahale kahā jā chukā hai ..173 se 176..

rāgo doso moho ya āsavā ṇatthi sammadiṭṭhissa . tamhā āsavabhāveṇ viṇā hedū ṇa pachchayā honti ..177.. hedū chaduvviyappo aṭṭhaviyappassa kāraṇan bhaṇidan .

tesin pi ya rāgādī tesimabhāve ṇa bajjhanti ..178.. karanevālā (apane apane samayamen udayamen ānevāle) [pūrvabaddhāḥ ] pūrvabaddha (pahale agnān- avasthāmen ban̐dhe huve) [dravyarūpāḥ pratyayāḥ ] dravyarūp pratyay [sattān ] apanī sattāko [na hi vijahati ] nahīn chhoṛate (ve sattāmen rahate hain ), [tadapi ] tathāpi [sak larāgadveṣhamohavyudāsāt ] sarva rāgadveṣhamohakā abhāv honese [gnāninaḥ ] gnānīke [ka rmabandhaḥ ] ka rmabandha [jātu ] ka dāpi [avatarati na ] avatār nahīn dharatānahīn hotā

bhāvārtha :gnānīke bhī pahale agnān-avasthāmen bān̐dhe hue dravyāsrav sattāavasthāmen vidyamān hain aur ve apane udayakālamen udayamen āte rahate hain . kintu ve dravyāsrav gnānīke karmabandhake kāraṇ nahīn hote, kyoṅki gnānīke samasta rāgadveṣhamohabhāvoṅkā abhāv hai . yahān̐ samasta rāgadveṣhamohakā abhāv buddhipūrvak rāgadveṣhamohakī apekṣhāse samajhanā chāhiye .118.

ab isī arthako dr̥urḥ karanevālī āgāmī do gāthāoṅkā sūchak shlok kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[yat ] kyoṅki [gnāninaḥ rāgadveṣhavimohānān asambhavaḥ ] gnānīke rāgadveṣhamohakā asambhav hai, [tataḥ ev ] isaliye [asya bandhaḥ na ] usako bandha nahīn hai; [hi ] kāraṇ ki [te bandhasya kāraṇam ] ve (rāgadveṣhamoh) hī bandhakā kāraṇ hai .119.

ab is arthakī samarthak do gāthāen̐ kahate hain :

nahin rāgadveṣh, na mohve āsrav nahīn saddr̥uṣhṭike .
isase hi āsravabhāv bin, pratyay nahīn hetu bane ..177..
hetū chaturvidh karma aṣhṭa prakārakā kāraṇ kahā .
unakā hi rāgādik kahā, rāgādi nahin vahān̐ bandh nā ..178..

rāgadveṣhamohā na santi samyagdr̥uṣhṭeḥ, samyagdr̥uṣhṭitvānyathānupapatteḥ . tadabhāve na tasya dravya- pratyayāḥ pudgalakarmahetutvan bibhrati, dravyapratyayānān pudgalakarmahetutvasya rāgādihetutvāt . tato hetuhetvabhāve hetumadabhāvasya prasiddhatvāt gnānino nāsti bandhaḥ .

gāthārtha :[rāgaḥ ] rāg, [dveṣhaḥ ] dveṣh [cha mohaḥ ] aur moh[āsravāḥ ] yah āsrav [samyagdr̥uṣhṭeḥ ] samyagdr̥uṣhṭike [na santi ] nahīn hote, [tasmāt ] isaliye [āsravabhāven vinā ] āsravabhāvake binā [pratyayāḥ ] dravyapratyay [hetavaḥ ] ka rmabandhake kāraṇ [na bhavanti ] nahīn hote .

[chaturvik lpa hetuḥ ] (mithyātvādi) chār prakārake hetu [aṣhṭavik lpasya ] āṭh prakārake ka rmoṅko [kāraṇan ] kāraṇ [bhaṇitam ] ka he gaye hain, [cha ] aur [teṣhām api ] unake bhī [rāgādayaḥ ] (jīvake) rāgādi bhāv kāraṇ hain; [teṣhām abhāve ] isaliye unake abhāvamen [na badhyante ] ka rma nahīn ban̐dhate . (isaliye samyagdr̥uṣhṭike bandha nahīn hai .)

ṭīkā :samyagdr̥uṣhṭike rāgadveṣhamoh nahīn hain, kyoṅki samyagdr̥uṣhṭikī anyathā anupapatti hai (arthāt rāgadveṣhamohake abhāvake binā samyagdr̥uṣhṭitva nahīn ho sakatā); rāgadveṣhamohake abhāvamen use (samyagdr̥uṣhṭiko) dravyapratyay pudgalakarmakā (arthāt pudgalakarmake bandhakā) hetutva dhāraṇ nahīn karate, kyoṅki dravyapratyayoṅke pudgalakarmake hetutvake hetu rāgādik hain; isaliye hetuke abhāvamen hetumānkā (arthāt kāraṇakā jo kāraṇ hai usake abhāvamen kāryakā) abhāv prasiddha hai, isaliye gnānīke bandha kāraṇ nahīn hai

bhāvārtha :yahān̐, rāgadveṣhamohake abhāvake binā samyagdr̥uṣhṭitva nahīn ho sakatā aisā avinābhāvī niyam batāyā hai so yahān̐ mithyātvasambandhī rāgādikā abhāv samajhanā chāhiye . yahān̐ mithyātvasambandhī rāgādiko hī rāg mānā gayā hai . samyagdr̥uṣhṭi honeke bād jo kuchh chāritramohasambandhī rāg rah jātā hai use yahān̐ nahīn liyā hai; vah gauṇ hai . isaprakār samyagdr̥uṣhṭike bhāvāsravakā arthāt rāgadveṣhamohakā abhāv hai . dravyāsravoṅko bandhakā hetu honemen jo rāgadveṣhamoh hain unakā samyagdr̥uṣhṭike abhāv honese bandhake hetu nahīn hote, aur dravyāsrav bandhake hetu nahīn hote, isaliye samyagdr̥uṣhṭike gnānīkebandha nahīn hotā .

samyagdr̥uṣhṭiko gnānī kahā jātā hai vah yogya hī hai . ‘gnānī’ shabda mukhyatayā tīn apekṣhāoṅko lekar prayukta hotā hai :(1) pratham to, jise gnān ho vah gnānī kahalātā hai; isaprakār sāmānya gnānakī apekṣhāse sabhī jīv gnānī hai . (2) yadi samyak gnān aur mithyā gnānakī apekṣhāse vichār kiyā jāye to samyagdr̥uṣhṭiko samyaggnān hotā hai, isalie us apekṣhāse vah gnānī hai, aur mithyādr̥uṣhṭi agnānī hai . (3) sampūrṇa gnān aur apūrṇa gnānakī apekṣhāse vichār kiyā jāye to kevalī bhagavān gnānī hain aur chhadmastha agnānī hain, kyoṅki siddhāntamen pān̐ch bhāvoṅkā kathan karane par bārahaven guṇasthān tak agnānabhāv kahā hai . isaprakār anekāntase apekṣhāke dvārā vidhiniṣhedhanirbādharūpase siddha hotā hai; sarvathā ekāntase kuchh bhī siddha nahīn hotā ..177-178..

ab, gnānīko bandha nahīn hotā yah shuddhanayakā māhātmya hai, isaliye shuddhanayakī mahimā darshak kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[uddhatabodhachihnam shuddhanayam adhyāsya ] uddhat gnān (jo ki kisīke dabāye nahīn dab sak tā aisā unnat gnān) jisakā lakṣhaṇ hai aise shuddhanayamen rahakar arthāt shuddhanayakā āshray lekar [ye ] jo [sadā ev ] sadā hī [aikāgyrām ev ] ekāgratākā hī [ka layanti ] abhyās ka rate hain [te ] ve, [satatan ] nirantar [rāgādimuktamanasaḥ bhavantaḥ ] rāgādise rahit chittavāle vartate hue, [bandhavidhuran samayasya sāram ] bandharahit samayake sārako (apane shuddha ātmasvarūpako) [pashyanti ] dekhate hainanubhav karate hain

bhāvārtha :yahān̐ shuddhanayake dvārā ekāgratākā abhyās karaneko kahā hai . ‘main keval gnānasvarūp hūn̐, shuddha hūn̐’aisā jo ātmadravyakā pariṇaman vah shuddhanay . aise pariṇamanake kāraṇ vr̥utti gnānakī or unmukh hotī rahe aur sthiratā barḥatī jāye so ekāgratākā abhyās .

shuddhanay shrutagnānakā ansh hai aur shrutagnān to parokṣha hai, isaliye is apekṣhāse shuddhanayake dvārā honevālā shuddha svarūpakā anubhav bhī parokṣha hai . aur vah anubhav ekadesh shuddha hai is apekṣhāse use vyavahārase pratyakṣha bhī kahā jātā hai . sākṣhāt shuddhanay to kevalagnān hone par hotā hai .120.

ab yah kahate hain ki jo shuddhanayase chyut hote hain ve karma bāndhate hain :

shlokārtha :[ih ] jagatmen [ye ] jo [shuddhanayataḥ prachyutya ] shuddhanayase chyut hokar [punaḥ ev tu ] punaḥ [rāgādiyogam ] rāgādike sambandhako [upayānti ] prāpta hote hain [te ] aise jīv, [vimuktabodhāḥ ] jinhonne gnānako chhoṛā hai aise hote hue, [pūrvabaddhadravyāsravaiḥ ] pūrvabaddha dravyāsravoṅke dvārā [ka rmabandham ] ka rmabandhako [vibhrati ] dhāraṇ ka rate hain (ka rmoṅko bān̐dhate hain)[kr̥ut-vichitra-vik lpa-jālam ] jo ki ka rmabandha anek prakārake vikalpa jālako karatā hai (arthāt jo ka rmabandha anek prakārakā hai) .

bhāvārtha :shuddhanayase chyut honā arthāt ‘main shuddha hūn̐’ aise pariṇamanase chhūṭakar ashuddharūp pariṇamit honā arthāt mithyādr̥uṣhṭi ho jānā . aisā hone par, jīvake mithyātva sambandhī rāgādik utpanna hote hain, jisase dravyāsrav karmabandhake kāraṇ hote hain aur isaliye anek prakārake karma bandhate hain . isaprakār yahān̐ shuddhanayase chyut honekā artha shuddhatākī pratītise (samyaktvase) chyut honā samajhanā chāhie . yahān̐ upayogakī apekṣhā gauṇ hai, shuddhanayase chyut honā arthāt shuddha upayogase chyut honā aisā artha yahān̐ mukhya nahīn hai; kyoṅki shuddhopayogarūp rahanekā samay alpa rahatā hai, isaliye mātra alpa kāl shuddhopayogarūp rahakar aur phi ra usase chhūṭakar gnān anya gneyommen upayukta ho to bhī mithyātvake binā jo rāgakā ansh hai vah abhiprāyapūrvak nahīn hai, isaliye gnānīke mātra alpa bandha hotā hai aur alpa bandha sansārakā kāraṇ nahīn hai . isaliye yahān̐ upayogakī apekṣhā mukhya nahīn hai .

ab yadi upayogakī apekṣhā lī jāye to isaprakār artha ghaṭit hotā hai :yadi jīv shuddhasvarūpake nirvikalpa anubhavase chhūṭe, parantu samyaktvase na chhūṭe to use chāritramohake rāgase kuchh bandha hotā hai . yadyapi vah bandha agnānake pakṣhamen nahīn hai tathāpi vah bandha to hai hī . isaliye use miṭāneke liye samyadr̥uṣhṭi gnāniko shuddhanayase na chhūṭanekā arthāt shuddhopayogamen līn rahanekā upadesh hai . kevalagnān hone par sākṣhāt shuddhanay hotā hai .121.

gāthārtha :[yathā ] jaise [puruṣheṇ ] puruṣhake dvārā [gr̥uhītaḥ ] grahāṇ kiyā huā [āhāraḥ ] jo āhār hai [saḥ ] vah [udarāgnisanyuktaḥ ] udarāgnise sanyukta hotā huā [anek vidham ] anek prakār [mānsavasārudhirādīn ] māns, charbī, rudhir ādi [bhāvān ] bhāvarūp [pariṇamati ] pariṇaman karatā hai, [tathā tu ] isīprakār [gnāninaḥ ] gnānīke [pūrvan baddhāḥ ] pūrvabaddha [ye pratyayāḥ ] jo dravyāsrav hain [te ] ve [bahuvik lpam ] anek prakārake [ka rma ] ka rma [badhnanti ] bāndhate hain;[te jīvāḥ ] aise jīv [nayaparihīnāḥ tu ] shuddhanayase chyut hain . (gnānī shuddhanayase chyut hove to usake ka rma ban̐dhate hain .)

ṭīkā :jab gnānī shuddhanayase chyut ho tab usake rāgādibhāvoṅkā sadbhāv hotā hai isaliye, pūrvabaddha dravyapratyay, apane (dravyapratyayoṅke) karmabandhake hetutvake hetukā sadbhāv hone rāgādisadbhāve .

par hetumān bhāvakā (kāryabhāvakā) anivāryatva honese, gnānāvaraṇādi bhāvase pudgalakarmako bandharūp pariṇamit karate hain . aur yah aprasiddha bhī nahīn hai (arthāt isakā dr̥uṣhṭānta jagatamen prasiddha haisarva gnāt hai); kyoṅki manuṣhyake dvārā grahaṇ kiye gaye āhārakā jaṭharāgni ras, rudhir, mān̐s ityādirūpamen pariṇamit karatī hai yah dekhā jātā hai .

bhāvārtha :jab gnānī shuddhanayase chyut ho tab usake rāgādibhāvoṅkā sadbhāv hotā hai, rāgādibhāvoṅke nimittase dravyāsrav avashya karmabandhake kāraṇ hote hain aur isaliye kārmaṇavargaṇā bandharūp pariṇamit hotī hai . ṭīkāmen jo yah kahā hai ki ‘‘dravyapratyay pudgalakarmako bandharūp pariṇamit karāte hain ’’, so nimittakī apekṣhāse kahā hai . vahān̐ yah samajhanā chāhie ki ‘‘dravyapratyayoṅke nimittabhūt hone par kārmaṇavargaṇā svayam bandharūp pariṇamit hotī hai’’ .179-180.

ab is sarva kathanakā tātparyarūp shlok kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[atra ] yahān̐ [idam ev tātparyan ] yahī tātparya hai ki [shuddhanayaḥ na hi heyaḥ ] shuddhanay tyāgane yogya nahīn hai; [hi ] kyoṅki [tat-atyāgāt bandhaḥ nāsti ] usake atyāgase (ka rmakā) bandha nahīn hotā aur [tat-tyāgāt bandhaḥ ev ] usake tyāgase bandha hī hotā hai .122.

‘shuddhanay tyāg karane yogya nahīn hai’ is arthako dr̥uḍh karanevālā kāvya punaḥ kahate hain :

gnānamen sthiratāko bān̐dhatā huā (arthāt gnānamen pariṇatiko sthir rakhatā huā) shuddhanay [ka rmaṇām sarvaṅk ṣhaḥ ] jo ki ka rmoṅkā samūl nāsh ka ranevālā hai[kr̥utibhiḥ ] pavitra dhamaratmā (samyagdr̥uṣhṭi) puruṣhoṅke dvārā [jātu ] ka bhī bhī [na tyājyaḥ ] chhoṛane yogya nahīn hai . [tatrasthāḥ ] shuddhanayamen sthit ve puruṣh, [bahiḥ niryat sva-marīchi-chakram achirāt sanhr̥utya ] bāhār nik latī huī apanī gnānaki raṇoṅke samūhako (arthāt ka rmake nimittase paronmukh jānevālī gnānakī visheṣh vyaktiyoṅko) alpakālamen hī sameṭakar, [pūrṇan gnān-ghan-ogham ek m achalan shāntan mahaḥ ] pūrṇa, gnānaghanake puñjarūp, ek , achal, shānta tejakotejaḥpuñjako[pashyanti ] dekhate hain arthāt anubhav karate hain .

bhāvārtha :shuddhanay, gnānake samasta visheṣhoṅko gauṇ karake tathā paranimittase honevāle samasta bhāvoṅko gauṇ karake, ātmāko shuddha, nitya, abhedarūp, ek chaitanyamātra grahaṇ karatā hai aur isaliye pariṇati shuddhanayake viṣhayasvarūp chaitanyamātra shuddha ātmāmen ekāgrasthirhotī jātī hai . isaprakār shuddhanayakā āshray lenevāle jīv bāhar nikalatī huī gnānakī visheṣh vyaktatāoṅko alpakālamen hī sameṭakar, shuddhanayamen (ātmākī shuddhatāke anubhavamen) nirvikalpatayā sthir hone par apane ātmāko sarva karmonse bhinna, keval gnānasvarūp, amūrtik puruṣhākār, vītarāg gnānamūrtisvarūp dekhate hain aur shukladhyānamen pravr̥utti karake antarmuhūrtamen kevalagnān pragaṭ karate hain . shuddhanayakā aisā māhātmya hai . isaliye shrī guruoṅkā yah upadesh hai ki jab tak shuddhanayake avalambanase kevalagnān utpanna na ho tab tak samyagdr̥uṣhṭi jīvoṅko shuddhanayakā tyāg nahīn karanā chāhiye . 123.

ab, āsravoṅkā sarvathā nāsh karanese jo gnān pragaṭ huā us gnānakī mahimākā sūchak kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[nitya-udyotan ] jisakā udyot (prakāsh) nitya hai aisī [ki m api paraman vastu ] kisī param vastuko [antaḥ sampashyataḥ ] antaraṅgamen dekhanevāle puruṣhako, [rāgādīnān āsravāṇān ] rāgādi āsravoṅkā [jhagiti ] shīghra hī [sarvataḥ api ] sarva prakār [vigamāt ] nāsh honese, [etat gnānam ] yah gnān [unmagnam ] pragaṭ huā[sphārasphāraiḥ ] ki jo gnān atyantātyanta (anantānanta) vistārako prāpta [svarasavisaraiḥ ] nijarasake prasārase [ā-lok -

iti shrīmadamr̥utachandrasūrivirachitāyān samayasāravyākhyāyāmātmakhyātau āsravprarūpakaḥ chaturtho‘ṅkaḥ .. antāt ] lok ke anta takake [sarvabhāvān ] sarva bhāvoṅko [plāvayat ] vyāpta ka ra detā hai arthāt sarva padārthoṅko jānatā hai, [achalam ] vah gnān pragaṭ huā tabhīse sadākāl achal hai arthāt pragaṭ honeke pashchāt sadā jyoṅkā tyon hī banā rahatā haichalāyamān nahīn hotā, aur [atulan ] vah gnān atul hai arthāt usake samān dūsarā koī nahīn hai .

bhāvārtha :jo puruṣh antaraṅgamen chaitanyamātra param vastuko dekhatā hai aur shuddhanayake ālamban dvārā usamen ekāgra hotā jātā hai us puruṣhako, tatkāl sarva rāgādik āsravabhāvoṅkā sarvathā abhāv hokar, sarva atīt, anāgat aur vartamān padārthoṅko jānanevālā nishchal, atul kevalagnān pragaṭ hotā hai . vah gnān sabase mahān hai . usake samān dūsarā koī nahīn hai .124.

ṭīkā :isaprakār āsrav (raṅgabhūmimense) bāhar nikal gayā .

bhāvārtha :raṅgabhūmimen āsravakā svān̐g āyā thā use gnānane usake yathārtha svarūpamen jān liyā, isaliye vah bāhar nikal gayā .

yog kaṣhāy mithyātva asanyam āsrav dravyat āgam gāye,
rāg virodh vimoh vibhāv agnānamayī yah bhāv jatāye;
je munirāj karain ini pāl suriddhi samāj laye siv thāye,
kāy navāy namūn̐ chit lāy kahūn̐ jay pāy lahūn̐ man bhāye
.

pratham ṭīkākār āchāryadev kahate hain ki ‘‘ab samvar pravesh karatā hai’’ . āsravake raṅgabhūmimense bāhar nikal jāneke bād ab samvar raṅgabhūmimen pravesh karatā hai .

yahān̐ pahale ṭīkākār āchāryadev sarva svān̐gako jānanevāle samyaggnānakī mahimādarshak maṅgalācharaṇ karate hain :

shlokārtha :[āsansār-virodhi-samvar-jay-ekānta-avalipta-āsrav-nyakkārāt ] anādi sansārase lekar apane virodhī samvarako jītanese jo ekānta-garvit (atyanta ahaṅkārayukta) huā hai aise āsravakā tiraskār ka ranese [pratilabdha-nitya-vijayan samvaram ] jisanee sadā vijay prāpta kī hai aise samvarako [sampādayat ] utpanna ka ratī huī, [pararūpataḥ vyāvr̥uttan ] pararūpase bhinna (arthāt paradravya aur paradravyake nimittase honevāle bhāvonse bhinna), [samyak-svarūpe niyamitan sphu rat ] apane samyak svarūpamen nishchalatāse prakāsh karatī huī, [chinmayam ] chinmay, [ujjvalan ] ujjval (nirābādh, nirmal, daidīpyamān) aur [nij-ras-prāgbhāram ] nijarasake (apane chaitanyarasake) bhārase yuktaatishayatāse yukta [jyotiḥ ] jyoti [ujjr̥umbhate ] pragaṭ hotī hai, prasārit hotī hai .

bhāvārtha :anādi kālase jo āsravakā virodhī hai aise samvarako jītakar āsrav madase garvit huā hai . us āsravakā tiraskār karake us par jisane sadāke liye vijay prāpta kī hai aise samvarako utpanna karatā huā, samasta pararūpase bhinna aur apane svarūpamen nishchal yah chaitanyaprakāsh nijarasakī atishayatāpūrvak nirmalatāse udayako prāpta huā hai .125.

samvar adhikārake prārambhamen hī, shrī kundakundāchārya sakal karmakā samvar karanekā utkr̥uṣhṭa upāy jo bhedavignān hai usakī prashansā karate hain :

upayogamen upayog, ko upayog nahin krodhādimen .
hai krodh krodhaviṣhai hi nishchay, krodh nahin upayogamen ..181..
upayog hai nahin aṣhṭavidh, karmon avaru nokarmamen .
ye karma aru nokarma bhī kuchh hain nahīn upayogamen ..182..
aisā aviparīt gnān jab hī pragaṭatā hai jīvake .
tab anya nahin kuchh bhāv vah upayogashuddhātmā kare ..183..

gāthārtha :[upayogaḥ ] upayog [upayoge ] upayogamen hai, [krodhādiṣhu ] krodhādimen [ko‘pi upayogaḥ ] koī bhī upayog [nāsti ] nahīn hai; [cha ] aur [krodhaḥ ] krodh [krodhe ev hi ] krodhamen hī hai, [upayoge ] upayogamen [khalu ] nishchayase [krodhaḥ ] krodh [nāsti ] nahīn hai .

na khalvekasya dvitīyamasti, dvayorbhinnapradeshatvenaikasattānupapatteḥ . tadasattve cha ten sahādhārādheyasambandho‘pi nāstyev . tataḥ svarūpapratiṣhṭhatvalakṣhaṇ evādhārādheyasambandho‘vatiṣhṭhate . ten gnānan jānattāyān svarūpe pratiṣhṭhitan, jānattāyā gnānādapr̥uthagbhūtatvāt, gnāne ev syāt . krodhādīni krudhyattādau svarūpe pratiṣhṭhitāni, krudhyattādeḥ krodhādibhyo‘pr̥uthagbhūtatvāt, krodhādiṣhvev syuḥ . na punaḥ krodhādiṣhu karmaṇi nokarmaṇi vā gnānamasti, na cha gnāne krodhādayaḥ karma nokarma vā santi, [aṣhṭavik lpe ka rmaṇi ] āṭh prakārake ka rmommen [cha api ] aur [nok rmaṇi ] nok rmamen [upayogaḥ ] upayog [nāsti ] nahīn hai [cha ] aur [upayoge ] upayogamen [ka rma ] ka rma [cha api ] tathā [nok rma ] nok rma [no asti ] nahīn hai .[etat tu ] aisā [aviparītan ] aviparīt [gnānan ] gnān [yadā tu ] jab [jīvasya ] jīvake [bhavati ] hotā hai, [tadā ] tab [upayogashuddhātmā ] vah upayogasvarūp shuddhātmā [ki ñchit bhāvam ] upayogake atirikta anya kisī bhī bhāvako [na ka roti ] nahīn ka ratā .

ṭīkā :vāstavamen ek vastukī dūsarī vastu nahīn hai, (arthāt ek vastu dūsarī vastuke sāth koī sambandha nahīn rakhatī) kyoṅki donoṅke pradesh bhinna hain, isaliye unamen ek sattākī anupapatti hai (arthāt donoṅkī sattāain bhinna-bhinna hain); aur isaprakār jab ki ek vastukī dūsarī vastu nahīn hai tab ekake sāth dūsarīko ādhāraādheyasambandha bhī hai hī nahīn . isaliye (pratyek vastukā) apane svarūpamen pratiṣhṭhārūp (dr̥urḥatāpūrvak rahanerūp) hī ādhāraādheyasambandha hai . isaliye gnān jo ki jānanakriyārūp apane svarūpamen pratiṣhṭhit hai vah, jānanakriyākā gnānase abhinnatva honese, gnānamen hī hai; krodhādik jo ki krodhādikriyārūp apane svarūpamen pratiṣhṭhit hai vah, krodhādikriyākā krodhādise abhinnatva honeke kāraṇ, krodhādikamen hī hai .
