tajain tinahin samabhāv kari, namūn̐ sadā tin pān̐y ..

pratham ṭīkākār kahate hain ki ‘ab bandha pravesh karatā hai’ . jaise nr̥ityamañch par svān̐g pravesh karatā hai usīprakār raṅgabhūmimen bandhatattvakā svān̐g pravesh karatā hai .

usamen pratham hī, sarva tattvoṅko yathārtha jānanevālā samyaggnān bandhako dūr karatā huā pragaṭ hotā hai, is arthakā maṅgalarūp kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[rāg-udgār-mahārasen sakalan jagat pramattan kr̥utvā ] jo (bandha) rāgake udayarūp mahāras(madirā)ke dvārā samasta jagatako pramatta (matavālā) ka rake, [ras-bhāv-nirbhar- mahānāṭayen krīḍantan bandhan ] rasake bhāvase (rāgarūp matavālepanase) bhare hue mahā nr̥ityake dvārā khel (nāch) rahā hai aise bandhako [dhunat ] uṛātādūr ka ratā huā, [gnānan ] gnān [samunmajjati ] udayako prāpta hotā hai . vah gnān [ānanda-amr̥ut-nitya-bhoji ] ānandarūp amr̥utakā nitya bhojan ka ranevālā hai, [sahaj-avasthān sphu ṭan nāṭayat ] apanī gnātr̥ukriyārūp sahaj avasthāko pragaṭ nachā rahā hai, [dhīr-udāram ] dhīr hai, udār (arthāt mahān vistāravālā, nishchal) hai, [anākulan ] anāku la hai (arthāt jisamen kiñchit bhī āku latākā kāraṇ nahīn hai), [nirūpadhi ] upādhi rahit (arthāt parigrah rahit yā jisamen kiñchit bhī paradravya sambandhī grahaṇ-tyāg nahīn hai aisā) hai .

bhāvārtha :bandhatattvane ‘raṅgabhūmimen’ pravesh kiyā hai, use dūr karake jo gnān svayam pragaṭ hokar nr̥itya karegā, us gnānakī mahimā is kāvyamen pragaṭ kī gaī hai . aise ananta gnānasvarūp jo ātmā vah sadā pragaṭ raho .163.

ab bandhatattvake svarūpakā vichār karate hain; usamen pahile bandhake kāraṇako spaṣhṭatayā batalāte hain :

jis rīt koī puruṣh mardan āp karake telakā .
vyāyām karatā shastrase, bahu rajabhare sthānak khaṛā ..237..
aru tāṛ, kadalī, bān̐s ādik chhinnabhinna bahū kare .

(yahān̐ vichār karo ki) inamense us puruṣhake bandhakā kāraṇ kaun hai ? pahale, jo svabhāvase hī bahutasī dhūlise bharī huī bhūmi hai vah dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hai; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to jinhonne tailādikā mardan nahīn kiyā hai aise us bhūmimen rahe hue puruṣhoṅko bhī dhūlibandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . shastroṅkā vyāyāmarūp karma bhī dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hai; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to jinhonne telādikā mardan nahīn kiyā hai unake bhī shastravyāyāmarūp kriyāke karanese dhūlibandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . anek prakārake kāraṇ bhī dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hain; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to jinhonne tailādikā mardan nahīn kiyā hai unake bhī anek prakārake kāraṇonse dhūlibandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . sachitta tathā achitta vastuoṅkā ghāt bhī dhūlibandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hai; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to jinhonne tailādikā mardan nahīn kiyā unhen bhī sachitta tathā achitta vastuoṅkā ghāt karanese dhūlibandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . isalie nyāyake balase hī yah phalit (siddha) huā ki, us puruṣhamen tailādikā mardan karanā bandhakā kāraṇ hai . isīprakārmithyādr̥uṣhṭi apanemen rāgādik karatā huā, svabhāvase hī jo bahutase karmayogya pudgalonse bharā huā hai aise lokamen kāy-vachan-manakā karma (kriyā) karatā huā, anek prakārake karaṇoṅke dvārā sachitta tathā achitta vastuoṅkā ghāt karatā huā, karmarūp rajase ban̐dhatā hai . karmayogyapudgalabahulo lokaḥ, siddhānāmapi tatrasthānān tatprasaṅgāt . na kāyavāṅmanaḥkarma, yathākhyātasanyatānāmapi tatprasaṅgāt . nānekaprakārakaraṇāni, kevalagnānināmapi tatprasaṅgāt . na sachittāchittavastūpaghātaḥ, samititatparāṇāmapi tatprasaṅgāt . tato nyāyabalenaivaitadāyātan, yadupayoge rāgādikaraṇan sa bandhahetuḥ . rahe hain unake bhī, bandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . kāy-vachan-manakā karma (arthāt kāy-vachan- manakī kriyāsvarūp yog) bhī bandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hai; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to yathākhyāt- sanyamiyoṅke bhī (kāy-vachan-manakī kriyā honese) bandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . anek prakārake 1karaṇ bhī bandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hain; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to kevalagnāniyoṅke bhī (un karaṇonse) bandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . sachitta tathā achitta vastuoṅkā ghāt bhī bandhakā kāraṇ nahīn hai; kyoṅki yadi aisā ho to jo samitimen tatpar hain unake (arthāt jo yatnapūrvak pravr̥utti karate hain aise sādhuoṅke) bhī (sachitta tathā achitta vastuoṅke ghātase) bandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . isaliye nyāyabalase hī yah phalit huā ki, upayogamen rāgādikaraṇ (arthāt upayogamen rāgādikakā karanā), bandhakā kāraṇ hai .

bhāvārtha :yahān̐ nishchayanayako pradhān karake kathan hai . jahān̐ nirbādh hetuse siddhi hotī hai vahī nishchay hai . bandhakā kāraṇ vichār karane par nirbādhatayā yahī siddha huā ki mithyādr̥uṣhṭi puruṣh jin rāgadveṣhamohabhāvoṅko apane upayogamen karatā hai ve rāgādik hī bandhakā kāraṇ hain . unake atirikta anyabahu karmayogya pudgalonse paripūrṇa lok, kāy-vachan-manake yog, anek karaṇ tathā chetan-achetanakā ghātbandhake kāraṇ nahīn hain; yadi unase bandha hotā ho to siddhoṅke, yathākhyāt chāritravānoṅke, kevalagnāniyoṅke aur samitirūp pravr̥utti karanevāle muniyoṅke bandhakā prasaṅg ā jāegā . parantu unake to bandha hotā nahīn hai . isalie in hetuommen (kāraṇommen) vyabhichār (doṣh) āyā . isalie yah nishchay hai ki bandhakā kāraṇ rāgādik hī hain .

yahān̐ samitirūp pravr̥utti karanevāle muniyoṅkā nām liyā gayā hai aur avirat, deshaviratakā nām nahīn liyā; isakā yah kāraṇ hai kiavirat tathā deshaviratake bāhyasamitirūp pravr̥utti nahīn hotī, isalie chāritramoh sambandhī rāgase kiñchit bandha hotā hai; isalie sarvathā bandhake abhāvakī apekṣhāmen unakā nām nahīn liyā . vaise antaraṅgakī apekṣhāse to unhen bhī nirbandha hī jānanā chāhie ..237 se 241.. 1karaṇ = indriyān̐ .

ab is arthakā kalasharūp kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[bandhakr̥ut ] ka rmabandhako ka ranevālā kāraṇ, [na karmabahulan jagat ] na to bahut ka rmayogya pudgalonse bharā huā lok hai, [na chalanātmakan karma vā ] na chalanasvarūp ka rma (arthāt kāy-vachan-manakī kriyārūp yog) hai, [na naikakaraṇāni ] na anek prakārake ka raṇ hain [vā na chid-achid-vadhaḥ ] aur na chetan-achetanakā ghāt hai . kintu [upayogabhūḥ rāgādibhiḥ yad- aikyam samupayāti ] ‘upayogabhū’ arthāt ātmā rāgādik ke sāth jo aikyako prāpta hotā hai [saḥ ev kevalan ] vahī ek (mātra rāgādik ke sāth ek tva prāpta karanā vahī) [kil ] vāstavamen [nr̥uṇām bandhahetuḥ bhavati ] puruṣhoṅke bandhakā kāraṇ hai .

bhāvārtha :yahān̐ nishchayanayase ekamātra rāgādikako hī bandhakā kāraṇ kahā hai .164.

samyagdr̥uṣhṭi upayogamen rāgādik nahīn karatā, upayogakā aur rāgādikā bhed jānakar rāgādik kā svāmī nahīn hotā, isalie use pūrvokta cheṣhṭāse bandha nahīn hotāyah kahate hain :

jis rīt phi ra vah hī puruṣh, us tel sabako dūr kar .
vyāyām karatā shastrase, bahu rajabhare sthānak ṭhahar ..242..

ab isī arthakā kalasharūp kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[karmatataḥ lokaḥ saḥ astu ] isalie vah (pūrvokta) bahut ka rmonse (ka rmayogya pudgalonse) bharā huā lok hai so bhale raho, [parispandātmakan karma tat cha astu ] vah kāy-vachan-manakā chalanasvarūp ka rma (yog) hai so bhī bhale raho, [tāni karaṇāni asmin santu ] ve (pūrvokta) ka raṇ bhī usake bhale rahen [cha ] aur [tat chid-achid- vyāpādanan astu ] vah chetan-achetanakā ghāt bhī bhale ho, parantu [aho ] aho! [ayam samyagdr̥ug-ātmā ] yah samyagdr̥uṣhṭi ātmā, [rāgādīn upayogabhūmim anayan ] rāgādik ko upayogabhūmimen na lātā huā, [kevalan gnānan bhavan ] ke val (ek) gnānarūp pariṇamit hotā huā, [kutaḥ api bandham dhruvam na ev upaiti ] kisī bhī kāraṇase nishchayataḥ bandhako prāpta nahīn hotā . (aho ! dekho ! yah samyagdarshanakī adbhut mahimā hai .)

bhāvārtha :yahān̐ samyagdr̥uṣhṭikī adbhut mahimā batāī hai, aur yah kahā hai ki lok, yog, karaṇ, chaitanya-achaitanyakā ghātve bandhake kāraṇ nahīn hain . isakā artha yah nahīn hai ki parajīvakī hinsāse bandhakā honā nahīn kahā, isalie svachchhanda hokar hinsā karanī . kintu yahān̐ yah āshay hai ki abuddhipūrvak kadāchit parajīvakā ghāt bhī ho jāye to usase bandha nahīn hotā . kintu jahān̐ buddhipūrvak jīvoṅko māraneke bhāv hoṅge vahān̐ to apane upayogamen rāgādikā astitva hogā aur usase vahān̐ hinsājanya bandha hogā hī . jahān̐ jīvako jilānekā abhiprāy ho vahān̐ bhī arthāt us abhiprāyako bhī nishchayanayamen mithyātva kahā hai, tab phi ra jīvako māranekā abhiprāy mithyātva kyon na hogā ? avashya hogā . isaliye kathanako nayavibhāgase yathārtha samajhakar shraddhān karanā chāhie . sarvathā ekānta mānanā mithyātva hai .165.

ab uparokta bhāvārthamen kathit āshayako pragaṭ karaneke lie, kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[tathāpi ] tathāpi (arthāt lok ādi kāraṇonse bandha nahīn kahā aur rāgādik se hī bandha ka hā hai tathāpi) [gnāninān nirargalan charitum na iṣhyate ] gnāniyoṅko nirargal (svachchhandatāpūrvak) pravartanā yogya nahīn hai, [sā nirargalā vyāpr̥utiḥ kil tad-āyatanam ev ] kyoṅki vah nirargal pravartan vāstavamen bandhakā hī sthān hai . [gnāninān akām-kr̥ut-karma tat akāraṇam matam ] gnāniyoṅke vān̐chhārahit karma (kārya) hotā hai vah bandhakā kāraṇ nahīn ka hā, kyoṅki [jānāti cha karoti ] jānatā bhī hai aur (ka rmako ) ka ratā bhī hai[dvayan kimu na hi virudhyate ] yah donon kriyāen̐ kyā virodharūp nahīn hain ? (ka ranā aur jānanā nishchayase virodharūp hī hai .)

bhāvārtha :pahale kāvyamen lok ādiko bandhakā kāraṇ nahīn kahā, isalie vahān̐ yah nahīn samajhanā chāhie ki bāhyavyavahārapravr̥uttikā bandhake kāraṇommen sarvathā hī niṣhedh kiyā hai; bāhyavyavahārapravr̥utti rāgādi pariṇāmakībandhake kāraṇakīnimittabhūt hai, us nimittakā yahān̐ niṣhedh nahīn samajhanā chāhie . gnāniyoṅke abuddhipūrvakvān̐chhā rahitpravr̥utti hotī hai, isaliye bandha nahīn kahā hai, unhen kahīn svachchhanda hokar pravartaneko nahīn ka hā hai; kyoṅki maryādā rahit (niraṅkush) pravartanā to bandhakā hī kāraṇ hai . jānanemen aur karanemen to paraspar virodh hai; gnātā rahegā to bandha nahīn hogā, kartā hogā to avashya bandha hogā .166.

‘‘jo jānatā hai so karatā nahīn aur jo karatā hai so jānatā nahīn; karanā to karmakā rāg hai, aur jo rāg hai so agnān hai tathā agnān bandhakā kāraṇ hai .’’is arthakā kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[yaḥ jānāti saḥ na karoti ] jo jānatā hai so ka ratā nahīn [tu ] aur [yaḥ karoti ayan khalu jānāti na ] jo ka ratā hai so jānatā nahīn . [tat kil karmarāgaḥ ] ka ranā to vāstavamen ka rmarāg hai [tu ] aur [rāgan abodhamayam adhyavasāyam āhuḥ ] rāgako (muniyonne) agnānamay adhyavasāy ka hā hai; [saḥ niyatan mithyādr̥ushaḥ ] jo ki vah (agnānamay adhyavasāy) niyamase mithyādr̥uṣhṭike hotā hai [cha ] aur [saḥ bandhahetuḥ ] vah bandhakā kāraṇ hai .167.

ab mithyādr̥uṣhṭike āshayako gāthāmen spaṣhṭa kahate hain :
jo mānatāmain mārun̐ par aru ghāt par merā kare .
so mūḍh hai, agnāni hai, viparīt isase gnāni hai ..247..

gāthārtha :[yaḥ ] jo [manyate ] yah mānatā hai ki [hinasmi cha ] ‘main par jīvoṅko māratā hūn̐ [paraiḥ sattvaiḥ hinsye cha ] aur par jīv mujhe mārate hain ’, [saḥ ] vah [mūḍhaḥ ] mūḍh (mohī) hai, [agnānī ] agnānī hai, [tu ] aur [ataḥ viparītaḥ ] isase viparīt (jo aisā nahīn mānatā vah) [gnānī ] gnānī hai .

ṭīkā :‘main par jīvoṅko māratā hūn̐ aur par jīv mujhe mārate hain ’aisā 1adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase (niyamase, nishchayataḥ) agnān hai . vah adhyavasāy jisake hai vah agnānīpaneke kāraṇ mithyādr̥uṣhṭi hai; aur jisake vah adhyavasāy nahīn hai vah gnānīpaneke kāraṇ samyagdr̥uṣhṭi hai .

bhāvārtha :‘parajīvoṅko main māratā hūn̐ aur parajīv mujhe mārate hain’ aisā āshay agnān hai, isalie jisakā aisā āshay hai vah agnānī haimithyādr̥uṣhṭi hai aur jisakā aisā āshay nahīn hai vah gnānī haisamyagdr̥uṣhṭi hai .

nishchayanayase kartākā svarūp yah hai :svayam svādhīnatayā jis bhāvarūp pariṇamit ho us 1adhyavasāy = mithyā abhiprāy; āshay .

ab yah prashna hotā hai ki yah adhyavasāy agnān kaise hai ? usake uttar svarūp gāthā kahate hain :

hai āyukṣhayase maraṇ jīvakā, ye hi jinavarane kahā .
tū āyu to haratā nahīn, tainne maraṇ kaise kiyā ? ..248..
hai āyukṣhayase maraṇ jīvakā, ye hi jinavarane kahā .
ve āyu tujh harate nahīn, to maraṇ tujh kaise kiyā ? ..249..

gāthārtha :(he bhāī ! tū jo yah mānatā hai ki ‘main par jīvoṅko māratā hūn̐ ’ so yah terā agnān hai .) jīvanādhyavasāyasya tadvipakṣhasya kā vārteti chet [jinavaraiḥ ] jinavaronne [pragnaptam ] ka hā hai; par jīv [tav āyuḥ ] tere āyuk rmako to [na haranti ] harate nahīn hain, [taiḥ ] to unhonne [te maraṇan ] terā maraṇ [kathan ] kaise [kr̥utan ] kiyā ?

ṭīkā :pratham to, jīvoṅkā maraṇ vāstavamen apane āyukarmake kṣhayase hī hotā hai, kyoṅki apane āyukarmake kṣhayake abhāvamen maraṇ honā ashakya hai; aur dūsarese dūsarekā sva- āyukarma haraṇ nahīn kiyā jā sakatā, kyoṅki vah (sva-āyukarma) apane upabhogase hī kṣhayako prāpta hotā hai; isaliye kisī bhī prakārase koī dūsarā kisī dūsarekā maraṇ nahīn kar sakatā . isaliye ‘main par jīvoṅko māratā hūn̐, aur par jīv mujhe mārate hain’ aisā adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase (niyamase) agnān hai .

bhāvārtha :jīvakī jo mānyatā ho tadanusār jagatamen nahīn banatā ho, to vah mānyatā agnān hai . apane dvārā dūsarekā tathā dūsarese apanā maraṇ nahīn kiyā jā sakatā, tathāpi yah prāṇī vyartha hī aisā mānatā hai so agnān hai . yah kathan nishchayanayakī pradhānatāse hai .

vyavahār isaprakār hai :paraspar nimitta-naimittikabhāvase paryāyakā jo utpād-vyay ho use janma-maraṇ kahā jātā hai; vahān̐ jisake nimittase maraṇ (paryāyakā vyay) ho usake sambandhamen yah kahā jātā hai ki ‘isane ise mārā’, yah vyavahār hai .

yahān̐ aisā nahīn samajhanā ki vyavahārakā sarvathā niṣhedh hai . jo nishchayako nahīn jānate, unakā agnān miṭāneke lie yahān̐ kathan kiyā hai . use jānaneke bād donon nayoṅko avirodharūpase jānakar yathāyogya nay mānanā chāhie ..248 se 249..

ab punaḥ prashna hotā hai ki ‘‘(maraṇakā adhyavasāy agnān hai yah kahā so jān liyā; kintu ab) maraṇake adhyavasāyakā pratipakṣhī jo jīvanakā adhyavasāy hai usakā kyā hāl hai ?’’ usakā uttar kahate hain :

to (he bhāī !) [taiḥ ] unhonne [duḥkhitaḥ ] tujhako duḥkhī [kathan kr̥utaḥ asi ] kaise kiyā ?

[yadi ] yadi [sarve jīvāḥ ] sabhī jīv [karmodayen ] ka rmake udayase [duḥkhitasukhitāḥ ] duḥkhī-sukhī [bhavanti ] hote hain, [cha ] aur ve [tav ] tujhe [karma ] ka rma to [na dadati ] nahīn dete, to (he bhāī !) [taiḥ ] unhonne [tvan ] tujhako [sukhitaḥ ] sukhī [kathan kr̥utaḥ ] kaise kiyā ?

ṭīkā :pratham to, jīvoṅko sukh-duḥkh vāstavamen apane karmodayase hī hotā hai, kyoṅki apane karmodayake abhāvamen sukh-duḥkh honā ashakya hai; aur apanā karma dūsare dvārā dūsareko nahīn diyā jā sakatā, kyoṅki vah (apanā karma) apane pariṇāmase hī upārjit hotā hai; isaliye kisī bhī prakārase dūsarā dūsareko sukh-duḥkh nahīn kar sakatā . isaliye yah adhyavasāy dhruvarūpase agnān hai ki ‘main par jīvoṅko sukhī-duḥkhī karatā hūn̐ aur par jīv mujhe sukhī-duḥkhī karate hain’ .

bhāvārtha :jīvakā jaisā āshay ho tadanusār jagatamen kārya na hote hon to vah āshay agnān hai . isaliye, sabhī jīv apane apane karmodayase sukhī-duḥkhī hote hain, vahān̐ yah mānanā ki ‘main parako sukhī-duḥkhī karatā hūn̐ aur par mujhe sukhī-duḥkhī karatā hai’, so agnān hai . nimitta -naimittikabhāvake āshrayase (kisīko kisīke) sukh-duḥkhakā karanevālā kahanā so vyavahār hai; jo ki nishchayakī dr̥uṣhṭimen gauṇ hai ..254 se 256..

ab is arthakā kalasharūp kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[ih ] is jagatamen [maraṇ-jīvit-duḥkh-saukhyam ] jīvoṅke maraṇ, jīvit, duḥkh, sukh[sarvan sadaiv niyatan svakīy-karmodayāt bhavati ] sab sadaiv niyamase (nishchitarūpase) apane ka rmodayase hotā hai; [paraḥ pumān parasya maraṇ-jīvit-duḥkh-saukhyam kuryāt ] ‘dūsarā puruṣh dūsareke maraṇ, jīvan, duḥkh, sukhako karatā hai’ [yat tu ] aisā jo mānanā, [etat agnānam ] vah to agnān hai .168.

jo maradi jo ya duhido jāyadi kammodaeṇ so savvo . tamhā du mārido de duhāvido chedi ṇa hu michchhā ..257.. jo ṇa maradi ṇa ya duhido so vi ya kammodaeṇ chev khalu . tamhā ṇa mārido ṇo duhāvido chedi ṇa hu michchhā ..258..

punaḥ isī arthako dr̥urḥ karanevālā aur āgāmī kathanakā sūchak kāvya kahate hain :

shlokārtha :[etat agnānam adhigamya ] is (pūrvakathit mānyatārūp) agnānako prāpta karake [ye parāt parasya maraṇ-jīvit-duḥkh-saukhyam pashyanti ] jo puruṣh parase parake maraṇ, jīvan, duḥkh, sukhako dekhate hain arthāt mānate hain, [te ] ve puruṣh[ahaṅkr̥utirasen ka rmāṇi chikīrṣhavaḥ ] jo ki isaprakār ahaṅkārarasase ka rmoṅko karaneke ichchhuk hain (arthāt ‘main in karmoṅko karatā hūn̐’ aise ahaṅkārarūp rasase jo ka rma ka ranekīmārane-jilānekī, sukhī-duḥkhī ka ranekī vān̐chhā ka ranevāle hain) ve[niyatam ] niyamase [mithyādr̥ushaḥ ātmahanaḥ bhavanti ] mithyādr̥uṣhṭi hai, apane ātmākā ghāt ka ranevāle hain .

bhāvārtha :jo parako mārane-jilānekā tathā sukh-duḥkh karanekā abhiprāy rakhate hain ve mithyādr̥uṣhṭi hain . ve apane svarūpase chyut hote hue rāgī, dveṣhī, mohī hokar svataḥ hī apanā ghāt karate hain, isaliye ve hinsak hain .169.

ab isī arthako gāthāon dvārā kahate hain :
maratā dukhī hotā ju jīvsab karma-udayonse bane .
‘mujhase marā aru dukhi huā’kyā mat na tujh mithyā are ? ..257..
aru nahin mare, nahin dukhi bane, ve karma-udayonse bane .
‘mainne na mārā dukhi karā’kyā mat na tujh mithyā are ? ..258..

gāthārtha :[yaḥ mriyate ] jo maratā hai [cha ] aur [yaḥ duḥkhitaḥ jāyate ] jo duḥkhī hotā hai [saḥ sarvaḥ ] vah sab [karmodayen ] ka rmodayase hotā hai; [tasmāt tu ] isaliye [māritaḥ cha duḥkhitaḥ ] ‘mainne mārā, mainne duḥkhī kiyā’ [iti ] aisā [te ] terā abhiprāy [na khalu mithyā ] kyā vāstavamen mithyā nahīn hai ?

[cha ] aur [yaḥ na mriyate ] jo na maratā hai [cha ] aur [na duḥkhitaḥ ] na duḥkhī hotā hai [saḥ api ] vah bhī [khalu ] vāstavamen [karmodayen cha ev ] ka rmodayase hī hotā hai; [tasmāt ] isaliye [na māritaḥ cha na duḥkhitaḥ ] ‘mainne nahīn mārā, mainne duḥkhī nahīn kiyā’ [iti ] aisā terā abhiprāy [na khalu mithyā ] kyā vāstavamen mithyā nahīn hai ?

ṭīkā :jo maratā hai yā jītā hai, duḥkhī hotā hai yā sukhī hotā hai, yah vāstavamen apane karmodayase hī hotā hai, kyoṅki apane karmodayake abhāvamen usakā vaisā honā (maranā, jīnā, duḥkhī yā sukhī honā) ashakya hai . isaliye aisā dekhanevālā arthāt mānanevālā mithyādr̥uṣhṭi hai ki ‘mainne ise mārā, ise jilāyā, ise duḥkhī kiyā, ise sukhī kiyā’ .

bhāvārtha :koī kisīke māre nahīn maratā aur jilāe nahīn jītā tathā kisīke sukhī- duḥkhī kiye sukhī-duḥkhī nahīn hotā; isaliye jo mārane, jilāne ādikā abhiprāy karatā hai vah mithyādr̥uṣhṭi hī haiyah nishchayakā vachan hai . yahān̐ vyavahāranay gauṇ hai ..257 se 258..
