bhāvārtha : — jinavachan (jinavāṇī) syādvādarūp hai . jahān do nayoṅke viṣhayakā virodh hai — jaise ki : jo satrūp hotā hai vah asatrūp nahīn hotā hai, jo ek hotā hai vah anek nahīn hotā, jo nitya hotā hai vah anitya nahīn hotā, jo bhedarūp hotā hai vah abhedarūp nahīn hotā, jo shuddha hotā hai vah ashuddha nahīn hotā ityādi nayoṅke viṣhayamen virodh hai — vahān̐ jinavachan kathañchit vivakṣhāse sat-asatrūp, ek-anekarūp, nitya-anityarūp, bhed-abhedarūp, shuddha-ashuddharūp jis prakār vidyamān vastu hai usī prakār kahakar virodh miṭā detā hai, asat kalpanā nahīn karatā . vah jinavachan dravyārthik aur paryāyārthik — in donon nayommen, prayojanavash shuddhadravyārthik nayako mukhya karake use nishchay kahatā hai aur ashuddhadravyārthikarūp paryāyārthikanayako gauṇ kar use vyavahār kahatā hai . — aise jinavachanamen jo puruṣh ramaṇ karate hain ve is shuddha ātmāko yathārtha prāpta kar lete hain; anya sarvathā-ekāntavādī sāṅkhyādik use prāpta nahīn kar pāte, kyoṅki vastu sarvathā ekānta pakṣhakā viṣhay nahīn hai tathāpi ve ek hī dharmako grahaṇ karake vastukī asatya kalpanā karate hain — jo asatyārtha hai, bādhā sahit mithyā dr̥uṣhṭi hai .4.
(vyavahāranayakī) pradhānatāmen jīvādi tattvoṅke shraddhānako samyaktva kahā hai, jab ki yahān̐ un jīvādi tattvoṅko shuddhanayake dvārā jānanese samyaktva hotā hai, yah kahate hain . ṭīkākār isakī sūchanārūp tīn shlok kahate hain, unamense pratham shlokamen yah kahate hain ki vyavahāranayako kathañchit prayojanavān kahā tathāpi vah kuchh vastubhūt nahīn hai : —
shlokārtha : — [vyavaharaṇ-nayaḥ ] jo vyavahāranay hai vah [yadyapi ] yadyapi [ih prāk- padavyān ] is pahalī padavīmen (jab tak shuddhasvarūpakī prāpti nahīn ho jātī tab tak) [nihit- padānān ] jinhonne apanā pair rakhā hai aise puruṣhoṅko, [hanta ] arere ! tanmuktvā navatattvasantatimimāmātmāyameko‘stu naḥ ..6..
‘artha’ ko antaraṅgamen avalokan karate hain, usakī shraddhā karate hain tathā usarūp līn hokar chāritrabhāvako prāpta hote hain unhen [eṣhaḥ ] yah vyavahāranay [kiñchit na ] kuchh bhī prayojanavān nahīn hai .
bhāvārtha : — shuddha svarūpakā gnān, shraddhān tathā ācharaṇ honeke bād ashuddhanay kuchh bhī prayojanakārī nahīn hai .5.
shlokārtha : — [asya ātmanaḥ ] is ātmāko [yad ih dravyāntarebhyaḥ pr̥uthak darshanam ] anya dravyonse pr̥uthak dekhanā (shraddhān karanā) [etat ev niyamāt samyagdarshanam ] hī niyamase samyagdarshan hai . yah ātmā [vyāptuḥ ] apane guṇ-paryāyommen vyāpta (rahanevālā) hai, aur [shuddhanayataḥ ekatve niyatasya ] shuddhanayase ekatvamen nishchit kiyā gayā hai tathā [pūrṇa-gnān- ghanasya ] pūrṇagnānaghan hai . [cha ] aur [tāvān ayan ātmā ] jitanā samyagdarshan hai utanā hī yah ātmā hai . [tat ] isalie āchārya prārthanā karate hain ki ‘‘[imām nav-tattva-santatin muktvā ] is navatattvakī paripāṭīko chhoṛakar, [ayam ātmā ekaḥ astu naḥ ] yah ātmā ek hī hamen prāpta ho’’ .
bhāvārtha : — sarva svābhāvik tathā naimittik apanī avasthārūp guṇaparyāyabhedommen vyāpanevālā yah ātmā shuddhanayase ekatvamen nishchit kiyā gayā hai — shuddhanayase gnāyakamātra ek-ākār dikhalāyā gayā hai, use sarva anyadravyoṅke aur anyadravyoṅke bhāvonse alag dekhanā, shraddhān karanā so niyamase samyagdarshan hai . vyavahāranay ātmāko anek bhedarūp kahakar samyagdarshanako anek bhedarūp kahatā hai, vahān̐ vyabhichār (doṣh) ātā hai, niyam nahīn rahatā . shuddhanayakī sīmā tak pahun̐chane par vyabhichār nahīn rahatā, isalie niyamarūp hai . shuddhanayake viṣhayabhūt ātmā pūrṇagnānaghan hai — sarva lokālokako jānanevāle gnānasvarūp hai . aise ātmākā shraddhānarūp samyagdarshan hai . yah kahīn pr̥uthak padārtha nahīn hai — ātmākā hī pariṇām hai, isaliye ātmā hī hai . ataḥ jo samyagdarshan hai so ātmā hai, anya nahīn .

yahān̐ itanā visheṣh samajhanā chāhie ki jo nay hai so shrutapramāṇakā ansh hai, isaliye shuddhanay bhī shrutapramāṇakā hī ansh huā . shrutapramāṇ parokṣha pramāṇ hai, kyoṅki vastuko sarvagnake āgamake vachanase jānā hai; isaliye yah shuddhanay sarva dravyonse bhinna, ātmākī sarva paryāyommen vyāpta, pūrṇa chaitanya kevalagnānarūp — sarva lokālokako jānanevāle, asādhāraṇ chaitanyadharmako parokṣha dikhātā hai . yah vyavahārī chhadmastha jīv āgamako pramāṇ karake shuddhanayase dikhāye gaye pūrṇa ātmākā shraddhān kare so vah shraddhān nishchay samyagdarshan hai . jab tak keval vyavahāranayake viṣhayabhūt jīvādik bhedarūp tattvoṅkā hī shraddhān rahatā hai tab tak nishchay samyagdarshan nahīn hotā . isaliye āchārya kahate hain ki is navatattvoṅkī santati (paripāṭī) ko chhoṛakar shuddhanayake viṣhayabhūt ek ātmā hī hamen prāpta ho; ham dūsarā kuchh nahīn chāhate . yah vītarāg avasthākī prārthanā hai, koī nayapakṣha nahīn hai . yadi sarvathā nayoṅkā pakṣhapāt hī huā ka re to mithyātva hī hai .
yahān̐ koī prashna karatā hai ki — ātmā chaitanya hai, mātra itanā hī anubhavamen āye to itanī shraddhā samyagdarshan hai yā nahīn ? usakā samādhān yah hai : — nāstikoṅko chhoṛakar sabhī matavāle ātmāko chaitanyamātra mānate hain; yadi itanī hī shraddhāko samyagdarshan kahā jāye to sabako samyaktva siddha ho jāyagā . isaliye sarvagnakī vāṇīmen jaisā pūrṇa ātmākā svarūp kahā hai vaisā shraddhān honese hī nishchay samyaktva hotā hai, aisā samajhanā chāhie .6.
ab, ṭīkākār – āchārya nimnalikhit shlokamen yah kahate hain ki — ‘tatpashchāt shuddhanayake ādhīn, sarva dravyonse bhinna, ātmajyoti pragaṭ ho jātī hai’ : —
shlokārtha : — [ataḥ ] tatpashchāt [shuddhanay-āyattan ] shuddhanayake ādhīn [pratyag- jyotiḥ ] jo bhinna ātmajyoti hai [tat ] vah [chakāsti ] pragaṭ hotī hai [yad ] ki jo [nav-tattva-gatatve api ] navatattvommen prāpta hone par bhī [ekatvan ] apane ekatvako [na muñchati ] nahīn chhoṛatī .
bhāvārtha : — navatattvommen prāpta huā ātmā anekarūp dikhāī detā hai; yadi usakā bhinna svarūp vichār kiyā jāye to vah apanī chaitanyachamatkāramātra jyotiko nahīn chhoṛatā .7.

ṭīkā : — ye jīvādi navatattva bhūtārtha nayase jāne huve samyagdarshan hī hain ( – yah niyam kahā); kyoṅki tīrthakī (vyavahār dharmakī) pravr̥uttike liye abhūtārtha (vyavahār)nayase kahe jāte hain aise ye navatattva — jinake lakṣhaṇ jīv, ajīv, puṇya, pāp, āsrav, samvar, nirjarā, bandha aur mokṣha hain — unamen ekatva pragaṭ karanevāle bhūtārthanayase ekatva prāpta karake, shuddhanayarūpase sthāpit ātmākī anubhūti — jisakā lakṣhaṇ ātmakhyāti hai — usakī prāpti hotī hai . bāhya (sthūl) dr̥uṣhṭise dekhā jāye to : — jīv-pudgalakī anādi bandhaparyāyake samīp jākar ekarūpase anubhav karanepar yah navatattva bhūtārtha hain, satyārtha hain aur ek jīvadravyake svabhāvake samīp jākar anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha hain, asatyārtha hain; (ve jīvake ekākār svarūpamen nahīn hain;) isaliye in nav tattvommen bhūtārtha nayase ek jīv hī prakāshamān hai . isīprakār antardr̥uṣhṭise dekhā jāye to : — gnāyak bhāv jīv hai aur jīvake vikārakā hetu ajīv hai; aur puṇya, pāp, āsrav, samvar, nirjarā, bandha tathā mokṣha — ye jinake lakṣhaṇ hain aise keval jīvake vikār hain aur puṇya, pāp, āsrav, samvar, nirjarā, bandha tathā mokṣha — ye vikārahetu keval ajīv hain . aise yah navatattva, jīvadravyake svabhāvako chhoṛakar, svayam aur par jinake kāraṇ hain aisī ek dravyakī paryāyoṅke rūpamen anubhav karane par bhūtārtha hain aur sarva kālamen askhalit ek jīvadravyake svabhāvake samīp jākar anubhav karane par ve abhūtārtha hain, asatyārtha hain . isaliye in navon tattvommen bhūtārtha nayase ek jīv hī prakāshamān hai . isaprakār yah, ekatvarūpase prakāshit hotā huā, shuddhanayarūpase anubhav kiyā jātā hai . aur jo yah anubhūti hai so ātmakhyāti (ātmākī pahichān) hī hai, aur jo ātmakhyāti hai so samyagdarshan hī hai . isaprakār yah sarva kathan nirdoṣh hai — bādhā rahit hai .
bhāvārtha : — in nav tattvommen, shuddhanayase dekhā jāy to, jīv hī ek chaitanyachamatkāramātra prakāsharūp pragaṭ ho rahā hai, isake atirikta bhinna bhinna nav tattva kuchh bhī dikhāī nahīn dete . jab

athaivamekatven dyotamānasyātmano‘dhigamopāyāḥ pramāṇanayanikṣhepāḥ ye te khalvabhūtārthā- tak isaprakār jīv tattvakī jānakārī jīvako nahīn hai tab tak vah vyavahāradr̥uṣhṭi hai, bhinna bhinna nav tattvoṅko mānatā hai . jīvapudgalakī bandhaparyāyarūp dr̥uṣhṭise yah padārtha bhinna bhinna dikhāī dete hain; kintu jab shuddhanayase jīv-pudgalakā nijasvarūp bhinna bhinna dekhā jāye tab ve puṇya, pāpādi sāt tattva kuchh bhī vastu nahīn hain; ve nimitta-naimittik bhāvase hue the, isalie jab vah nimitta- naimittikabhāv miṭ gayā tab jīv-pudgal bhinna bhinna honese anya koī vastu (padārtha) siddha nahīn ho sakatī . vastu to dravya hai, aur dravyakā nijabhāv dravyake sāth hī rahatā hai tathā nimitta- naimittikabhāvakā to abhāv hī hotā hai, isaliye shuddhanayase jīvako jānanese hī samyagdarshanakī prāpti ho sakatī hai . jab tak bhinna bhinna nav padārthoṅko jāne, aur shuddhanayase ātmāko na jāne tab tak paryāyabuddhi hai ..13..
shlokārtha : — [iti ] isaprakār [chiram nav-tattva-chchhannam idam ātmajyotiḥ ] nav tattvommen bahut samayase chhipī huī yah ātmajyoti [unnīyamānan ] shuddhanayase bāhar nikālakar pragaṭ kī gaī hai, [varṇamālā-kalāpe nimagnan kanakam iv ] jaise varṇoke samūhamen chhipe hue ekākār svarṇako bāhar nikālate hain . [ath ] isalie ab he bhavya jīvon ! [satataviviktan ] ise sadā anya dravyonse tathā unase honevāle naimittik bhāvonse bhinna, [ekarūpan ] ekarūp [dr̥ushyatām ] dekho . [pratipadam udyotamānam ] yah (jyoti), pad pad par arthāt pratyek paryāyamen ekarūp chitchamatkāramātra udyotamān hai .
bhāvārtha : — yah ātmā sarva avasthāommen vividharūpase dikhāī detā thā, use shuddhanayane ek chaitanya-chamatkāramātra dikhāyā hai; isaliye ab use sadā ekākār hī anubhav karo, paryāyabuddhikā ekānta mat rakho — aisā shrī guruoṅkā upadesh hai .8.

(pramāṇ gnān hai . vah pān̐ch prakārakā hai — mati, shrut, avadhi, manaḥparyay aur keval . unamense mati aur shrutagnān parokṣha hain, avadhi aur manaḥparyayagnān vikal-pratyakṣha hain aur kevalagnān sakal-pratyakṣha hai . isaliye yah do prakārake pramāṇ hain .) ve donon pramātā, pramāṇ, prameyake bhedakā anubhav karanepar to bhūtārtha hain, satyārtha hain; aur jisamen sarva bhed gauṇ ho gaye hain aise ek jīvake svabhāvakā anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha hain, asatyārtha hain .
nay do prakārake hain — dravyārthik aur paryāyārthik . vahān dravya-paryāyasvarūp vastumen dravyakā mukhyatāse anubhav karāye so dravyārthik nay hai aur paryāyakā mukhyatāse anubhav karāye so paryāyārthik nay hai . yah donon nay dravya aur paryāyakā paryāyase (bhedase, kramase) anubhav karane par to bhūtārtha hain, satyārtha hain; aur dravya tathā paryāy dononse anāliṅgit (āliṅgan nahīn kiyā huā) shuddhavastumātra jīvake (chaitanyamātra) svabhāvakā anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha hain, asatyārtha hain .
nikṣhepake chār bhed hain — nām, sthāpanā, dravya aur bhāv . vastumen jo guṇ na ho us guṇake nāmase (vyavahārake lie) vastukī sañgnā karanā so nām nikṣhep hai . ‘yah vah hai’ isaprakār anya vastumen anya vastukā pratinidhitva sthāpit karanā ( – pratimārūp sthāpan karanā) so sthāpanā nikṣhep hai . vartamānase anya arthāt atīt athavā anāgat paryāyase vastuko vartamānamen kahanā so dravya 1. upātta=prāpta . (indriy, man ityādi upātta padārtha hain .) 2. anupātta=aprāpta . (prakāsh, upadesh ityādi anupātta par padārtha hain .)

bhāvārtha : — in pramāṇ, nay, nikṣhepoṅkā vistārase kathan tadviṣhayak granthonse jānanā chāhiye; unase dravyaparyāyasvarūp vastukī siddhi hotī hai . ve sādhak avasthāmen to satyārtha hī hain, kyoṅki ve gnānake hī visheṣh hain . unake binā vastuko chāhe jaisā sādhā jāye to viparyay ho jātā hai . avasthānusār vyavahārake abhāvakī tīn rītiyān̐ hain : pratham avasthāmen pramāṇādise yathārtha vastuko jānakar gnān-shraddhānakī siddhi karanā; gnān-shraddhānake siddha honepar shraddhānake lie pramāṇādikī koī āvashyakatā nahīn hai . kintu ab yah dūsarī avasthāmen pramāṇādike ālambanase visheṣh gnān hotā hai aur rāg-dveṣh-mohakarmakā sarvathā abhāvarūp yathākhyāt chāritra pragaṭ hotā hai; usase kevalagnānakī prāpti hotī hai . kevalagnān honeke pashchāt pramāṇādikā ālamban nahīn rahatā . tatpashchāt tīsarī sākṣhāt siddha avasthā hai, vahān̐ bhī koī ālamban nahīn hai . isaprakār siddha avasthāmen pramāṇ-nay-nikṣhepakā abhāv hī hai .

bhāvārtha : — bhedako atyanta gauṇ karake kahā hai ki — pramāṇ, nayādi bhedakī to bāt hī kyā ? shuddha anubhavake honepar dvait hī bhāsit nahīn hotā, ekākār chinmātra hī dikhāī detā hai .
yahān̐ vignānādvaitavādī tathā vedāntī kahate hain ki — antamen paramārtharūp to advaitakā hī anubhav huā . yahī hamārā mat hai; isamen āpane visheṣh kyā kahā ? isakā uttar : — tumhāre matamen sarvathā advait mānā jātā hai . yadi sarvathā advait mānā jāye to bāhya vastukā abhāv hī ho jāye, aur aisā abhāv to pratyakṣha viruddha hai . hamāre matamen nayavivakṣhā hai jo ki bāhya vastukā lop nahīn karatī . jab shuddha anubhavase vik lpa miṭ jātā hai tab ātmā paramānandako prāpta hotā hai, isaliye anubhav karāneke lie yah kahā hai ki ‘‘shuddha anubhavamen dvait bhāsit nahīn hotā’’ . yadi bāhya vastukā lop kiyā jāye to ātmākā bhī lop ho jāyegā aur shūnyavādakā prasaṅga āyegā . isalie jaisā tum kahate ho usaprakārase vastusvarūpakī siddhi nahīn ho sakatī, aur vastusvarūpakī yathārtha shraddhāke binā jo shuddha anubhav kiyā jātā hai vah bhī mithyārūp hai; shūnyakā prasaṅga honese tumhārā anubhav bhī ākāsh-kusumake anubhavake samān hai .9.

gāthārtha : — [yaḥ ] jo nay [ātmānam ] ātmāko [abaddhaspr̥uṣhṭam ] bandha rahit aur parake sparshase rahit, [ananyakan ] anyatva rahit, [niyatam ] chalāchalatā rahit, [avisheṣham ] visheṣh rahit, [asanyuktan ] anyake sanyogase rahit — aise pāñch bhāvarūpase [pashyati ] dekhatā hai [tan ] use, he shiṣhya ! tū [shuddhanayan ] shuddhanay [vijānīhi ] jān .
ṭīkā : — nishchayase abaddha-aspr̥uṣhṭa, ananya, niyat, avisheṣh aur asanyukta — aise ātmākī jo anubhūti so shuddhanay hai, aur vah anubhūti ātmā hī hai; isaprakār ātmā ek hī prakāshamān hai . yahān yah samajhanā chāhie ki vastukā svarūp ananta dharmātmak hai, vah syādvādase yathārtha siddha hotā hai . ātmā bhī ananta dharmavālā hai . usake kuchh dharma to svābhāvik hain aur kuchh pudgalake sanyogase hote hain . jo karmake sanyogase hote hain, unase to ātmākī sānsārik pravr̥utti hotī hai aur tatsambandhī jo sukh-duḥkhādi hote hain unhen bhogatā hai . yah, is ātmākī anādikālīn agnānase paryāyabuddhi hai; use anādi-ananta ek ātmākā gnān nahīn hai . ise batānevālā sarvagnakā āgam hai . usamen shuddhadravyārthik nayase yah batāyā hai ki ātmākā ek asādhāraṇ chaitanyabhāv hai jo ki akhaṇḍa nitya aur anādinidhan hai . use jānanese paryāyabuddhikā pakṣhapāt miṭ jātā hai . paradravyonse, unake bhāvonse aur unake nimittase honevāle apane vibhāvonse apane ātmāko bhinna jānakar jīv usakā anubhav karatā hai tab paradravyake bhāvonsvarūp pariṇamit nahīn hotā; isalie karma bandha nahīn hotā aur sansārase nivr̥utta ho jātā hai . isaliye paryāyārthikarūp vyavahāranayako gauṇ karake abhūtārtha (asatyārtha) kahā hai aur shuddha nishchayanayako satyārtha kahakar usakā ālamban diyā hai . vastusvarūpakī prāpti honeke bād usakā bhī ālamban nahīn rahatā . is kathanase yah nahīn samajh lenā chāhie ki shuddhanayako satyārtha kahā hai, isalie ashuddhanay sarvathā asatyārtha hī hai . aisā mānanese vedāntamatavāle jo ki sansārako sarvathā avastu mānate hain unakā sarvathā ekānta pakṣha ā jāyegā aur usase mithyātva ā jāyegā, isaprakār yah shuddhanayakā ālamban bhī vedāntiyoṅkī bhānti mithyādr̥uṣhṭipanā lāyegā . isaliye sarva nayoṅkī kathañchit satyārthatākā shraddhān karanese hī samyagdr̥uṣhṭi huā jā sakatā hai . isaprakār syādvādako samajhakar jinamatakā sevan karanā chāhie, mukhya-gauṇ kathanako sunakar sarvathā ekānta pakṣha nahīn pakaṛanā chāhie . is gāthāsūtrakā vivechan karate hue ṭīkākār āchāryane bhī kahā hai ki ātmā vyavahāranayakī dr̥uṣhṭimen jo

aur, yahān yah samajhanā chāhie ki yah nay hai so shrutagnān-pramāṇakā ansh hai; shrutagnān vastuko parokṣha batalātā hai; isalie yah nay bhī parokṣha hī batalātā hai . shuddha dravyārthikanayakā viṣhayabhūt, baddhaspr̥uṣhṭa ādi pāñch bhāvonse rahit ātmā chaitanyashaktimātra hai . vah shakti to ātmāmen parokṣha hai hī; aur usakī vyakti karmasanyogase matishrutādi gnānarūp hai vah kathañchit anubhavagochar honese pratyakṣharūp bhī ka halātī hai, aur sampūrṇagnān – kevalagnān yadyapi chhadmasthake pratyakṣha nahīn hai tathāpi yah shuddhanay ātmāke kevalagnānarūpako parokṣha batalātā hai . jab tak jīv is nayako nahīn jānatā tab tak ātmāke pūrṇa rūpakā gnān-shraddhān nahīn hotā . isalie shrī gurune is shuddhanayako pragaṭ karake upadesh kiyā hai ki baddhaspr̥uṣhṭa ādi pān̐ch bhāvonse rahit pūrṇagnānaghanasvabhāv ātmāko jānakar shraddhān karanā chāhie, paryāyabuddhi nahīn rahanā chāhie .
yahān̐ koī aisā prashna kare ki — aisā ātmā pratyakṣha to dikhāī nahīn detā aur binā dekhe shraddhān karanā asatya shraddhān hai . usakā uttar yah hai : — dekhe huekā shraddhān karanā to nāstik mat hai . jinamatamen to pratyakṣha aur parokṣha — donon pramāṇ māne gaye hain . unamense āgamapramāṇ parokṣha hai . usakā bhed shuddhanay hai . is shuddhanayakī dr̥uṣhṭise shuddha ātmākā shraddhān karanā chāhie, keval vyavahār-pratyakṣhakā hī ekānta nahīn karanā chāhie ..14..

ab, isī arthakā sūchak kalasharūp kāvya punaḥ kahate hain, jisamen yah kahā gayā hai ki aisā anubhav karane par ātmadev pragaṭ pratibhāsamān hotā hai : —

bhāvārtha : — pahale samyagdarshanako pradhān karake kahā thā; ab gnānako mukhya karake kahate hain ki shuddhanayake viṣhayasvarūp ātmākī anubhūti hī samyaggnān hai .13.

gāthārtha : — [yaḥ ] jo puruṣh [ātmānam ] ātmāko [abaddhaspr̥uṣhṭam ] abaddhaspr̥uṣhṭa, [ananyam ] ananya, [avisheṣham ] avisheṣh (tathā upalakṣhaṇase niyat aur asanyukta) [pashyati ] dekhatā hai vah [sarvam jinashāsanan ] sarva jinashāsanako [pashyati ] dekhatā hai, — ki jo jinashāsan [1apadeshasāntamadhyan ] bāhya dravyashrut tathā abhyantar gnānarūp bhāvashrutavālā hai .

tadānīn sāmānyavisheṣhāvirbhāvatirobhāvābhyāmanubhūyamānamapi gnānamabuddhalubdhānān na svadate . tathā hi — yathā vichitravyañjanasanyogopajātasāmānyavisheṣhatirobhāvāvirbhāvābhyāmanubhūyamānan lavaṇan lokānāmabuddhānān vyañjanalubdhānān svadate, na punaranyasanyogashūnyatopajātasāmānyavisheṣhāvirbhāvatiro- bhāvābhyām; ath cha yadev visheṣhāvirbhāvenānubhūyamānan lavaṇan tadev sāmānyāvirbhāvenāpi . tathā vichitragneyākārakarambitatvopajātasāmānyavisheṣhatirobhāvāvirbhāvābhyāmanubhūyamānan gnānamabuddhānān gney- lubdhānān svadate, na punaranyasanyogashūnyatopajātasāmānyavisheṣhāvirbhāvatirobhāvābhyām; ath cha yadev visheṣhāvirbhāvenānubhūyamānan gnānan tadev sāmānyāvirbhāvenāpi . alubdhabuddhānān tu yathā saindhavakhilyo- ‘nyadravyasanyogavyavachchheden keval evānubhūyamānaḥ sarvato‘pyekalavaṇarasatvāllavaṇatven svadate, tathā- svayam ātmā hī hai . isalie gnānakī anubhūti hī ātmākī anubhūti hai . parantu ab vahān̐, sāmānya gnānake āvirbhāv (pragaṭapanā) aur visheṣh (gneyākār) gnānake tirobhāv (āchchhādan)se jab gnānamātrakā anubhav kiyā jātā hai tab gnān pragaṭ anubhavamen ātā hai tathāpi jo agnānī hain, gneyommen āsakta hain unhen vah svādamen nahīn ātā . yah pragaṭ dr̥uṣhṭāntase batalāte hain : —
jaise — anek prakārake shākādi bhojanoṅke sambandhase utpanna sāmānya lavaṇake tirobhāv aur visheṣh lavaṇake āvirbhāvase anubhavamen ānevālā jo (sāmānyake tirobhāvarūp aur shākādike svādabhedase bhedarūp – visheṣharūp) lavaṇ hai usakā svād agnānī, shāk-lolup manuṣhyoṅko ātā hai, kintu anyakī sambandharahitatāse utpanna sāmānyake āvirbhāv aur visheṣhake tirobhāvase anubhavamen ānevālā jo ekākār abhedarūp lavaṇ hai usakā svād nahīn ātā; aur paramārthase dekhā jāye to, visheṣhake āvirbhāvase anubhavamen ānevālā (kṣhārarasarūp) lavaṇ hī sāmānyake āvirbhāvase anubhavamen ānevālā (kṣhārarasarūp) lavaṇ hai . isaprakār — anek prakārake gneyoṅke ākāroṅke sāth mishrarūpatāse utpanna sāmānyake tirobhāv aur visheṣhake āvirbhāvase anubhavamen ānevālā jo (visheṣhabhāvarūp, bhedarūp, anekākārarūp) gnān hai vah agnānī, gney-lubdha jīvoṅko svādamen ātā hai, kintu anyagneyākārakī sanyogarahitatāse utpanna sāmānyake āvirbhāv aur visheṣhake tirobhāvase anubhavamen ānevālā jo ekākār abhedarūp gnān vah svādamen nahīn ātā; aur paramārthase vichār kiyā jāye to, jo gnān visheṣhake āvirbhāvase anubhavamen ātā hai vahī gnān sāmānyake āvirbhāvase anubhavamen ātā hai . alubdha gnāniyoṅko to, jaise saindhavakī ḍalī, anyadravyake sanyogakā vyavachchhed karake keval saindhavakā hī anubhav kiye jāne par, sarvataḥ ek kṣhārarasatvake kāraṇ kṣhārarūpase svādamen ātī hai usīprakār ātmā bhī, paradravyake sanyogakā vyavachchhed karake keval ātmākā hī anubhav

kiye jāne par, sarvataḥ ek vignānaghanatāke kāraṇ gnānarūpase svādamen ātā hai .
bhāvārtha : — yahān̐ ātmākī anubhūtiko hī gnānakī anubhūti kahā gayā hai . agnānījan gneyommen hī — indriyagnānake viṣhayommen hī — lubdha ho rahe hain; ve indriyagnānake viṣhayonse anekākār hue gnānako hī gneyamātra āsvādan karate hain, parantu gneyonse bhinna gnānamātrakā āsvādan nahīn karate . aur jo gnānī hain, gneyommen āsakta nahīn hain ve gneyonse bhinna ekākār gnānakā hī āsvād lete hain, — jaise shākonse bhinna namakakī ḍalīkā kṣhāramātra svād ātā hai, usīprakār āsvād lete hain, kyoṅki jo gnān hai so ātmā hai aur jo ātmā hai so gnān hai . isaprakār guṇaguṇīkī abhed dr̥uṣhṭimen ānevālā sarva paradravyonse bhinna, apanī paryāyommen ekarūp, nishchal, apane guṇommen ekarūp, paranimittase utpanna hue bhāvonse bhinna apane svarūpakā anubhav, gnānakā anubhav hai; aur yah anubhavan bhāvashrutagnānarūp jinashāsanakā anubhavan hai . shuddhanayase isamen koī bhed nahīn hai ..15..
shlokārtha : — āchārya kahate hain ki [paramam mahaḥ naḥ astu ] hamen vah utkr̥uṣhṭa tej -prakāsh prāpta ho [yat sakalakālam chid-uchchhalan-nirbharan ] ki jo tej sadākāl chaitanyake pariṇamanase paripūrṇa hai, [ullasat-lavaṇ-khilya-līlāyitam ] jaise namakakī ḍalī ek kṣhārarasakī līlākā ālamban karatī hai, usīprakār jo tej [ek-rasam ālambate ] ek gnānarasasvarūpakā ālamban karatā hai; [akhaṇḍitam ] jo tej akhaṇḍit hai — jo gneyoṅke ākārarūp khaṇḍit nahīn hotā, [anākulan ] jo anākul hai — jisamen karmoṅke nimittase honevāle rāgādise utpanna ākulatā nahīn hai, [anantam antaḥ bahiḥ jvalat ] jo avināshīrūpase antaraṅgamen aur bāharamen pragaṭ daidīpyamān hai — jānanemen ātmā hai, [sahajam ] jo svabhāvase huā hai — jise kisīne nahīn rachā aur [sadā udvilāsan ] sadā jisakā vilās udayarūp hai — jo ekarūp pratibhāsamān hai .

bhāvārtha : — āchāryadevane prārthanā kī hai ki yah gnānānandamay ekākār svarūpajyoti hamen sadā prāpta raho .14.
shlokārtha : — [eṣhaḥ gnānaghanaḥ ātmā ] yah (pūrvakathit) gnānasvarūp ātmā, [siddhmi abhīpsubhiḥ ] svarūpakī prāptike ichchhuk puruṣhoṅko [sādhyasādhakabhāven ] sādhyasādhakabhāvake bhedase [dvidhā ] do prakārase, [ekaḥ ] ek hī [nityam samupāsyatām ] nitya sevan karane yogya hai; usakā sevan karo .
bhāvārtha : — ātmā to gnānasvarūp ek hī hai, parantu usakā pūrṇarūp sādhyabhāv hai aur apūrṇarūp sādhakabhāv hai; aise bhāvabhedase do prakārase ekakā hī sevan karanā chāhie .15.
gāthārtha : — [sādhunā ] sādhu puruṣhako [darshanagnānachāritrāṇi ] darshan, gnān aur chāritra [nityam ] sadā [sevitavyāni ] sevan karane yogya hain; [punaḥ ] aur [tāni trīṇi api ] un tīnoṅko [nishchayataḥ ] nishchayanayase [ātmānan cha ev ] ek ātmā hī [jānīhi ] jāno .

vyavahāreṇ sādhunā darshanagnānachāritrāṇi nityamupāsyānīti pratipādyate . tāni punastrīṇyapi paramārthenātmaik ev, vastvantarābhāvāt . yathā devadattasya kasyachit gnānan shraddhānamanucharaṇan cha devadattasvabhāvānatikramāddevadatta ev, na vastvantaram; tathātmanyapyātmano gnānan shraddhānamanucharaṇan chātmasvabhāvānatikramādātmaiv, na vastvantaram . tat ātmā ek evopāsya iti svayamev pradyotate . sa kil —

shlokārtha : — [pramāṇataḥ ] pramāṇadr̥uṣhṭise dekhā jāye to [ātmā ] yah ātmā [samam mechakaḥ amechakaḥ cha api ] ek hī sāth anek avasthārūp (‘mechak’) bhī hai aur ek avasthārūp (‘amechak’) bhī hai, [darshan-gnān-chāritraiḥ tritvāt ] kyoṅki ise darshan-gnān- chāritrase to tritva (tīnapanā) hai aur [svayam ekatvataḥ ] apanese apaneko ekatva hai .
bhāvārtha : — pramāṇadr̥uṣhṭimen trikālasvarūp vastu dravyaparyāyarūp dekhī jātī hai, isaliye ātmāko bhī ek hī sāth ek-anekasvarūp dekhanā chāhie .16.
