nanu varṇādayo yadyamī na santi jīvasya tadā tantrāntare kathan santīti pragnāpyante iti chet —
ih hi vyavahāranayaḥ kil paryāyāshritatvājjīvasya pudgalasanyogavashādanādiprasiddha- bandhaparyāyasya kusumbharaktasya kārpāsikavāsas ivaupādhikan bhāvamavalambyotplavamānaḥ parabhāvan parasya detā hai — keval ek chaitanyabhāvasvarūp abhedarūp ātmā hī dikhāī detā hai .
bhāvārtha : — paramārthanay abhed hī hai, isaliye is dr̥uṣhṭise dekhane par bhed nahīn dikhāī detā; is nayakī dr̥uṣhṭimen puruṣh chaitanyamātra hī dikhāī detā hai . isaliye ve samasta hī varṇādik tathā rāgādik bhāv puruṣhase bhinna hī hain .
ye varṇase lekar guṇasthān paryanta jo bhāv hain unakā svarūp visheṣharūpase jānanā ho to gommaṭasār ādi granthonse jān lenā .37.
ab shiṣhya pūchhatā hai ki — yadi yah varṇādik bhāv jīvake nahīn haiain to anya siddhāntagranthommen aisā kaise kahā gayā hai ki ‘ve jīvake hain’ ? usakā uttar gāthāmen kahate hain : —
par koī bhī ye bhāv nahin hain jīvake nishchayaviṣhain ..56..
gāthārtha : — [ete ] yah [varṇādyāḥ guṇasthānāntāḥ bhāvāḥ ] varṇase lekar guṇasthānaparyanta jo bhāv kahe gaye ve [vyavahāreṇ tu ] vyavahāranayase to [jīvasya bhavanti ] jīvake hain (isaliye sūtramen kahe gaye hain), [tu ] kintu [nishchayanayasya ] nishchayanayake matamen [kechit na ] unamense koī bhī jīvake nahīn hain .
ṭīkā : — yahān̐, vyavahāranay paryāyāshrit honese, saphe da rūīse banā huā vastra jo ki kusumbī (lāl) raṅgase raṅgā huā hai aise vastrake aupādhik bhāv ( – lāl raṅga)kī bhānti, pudgalake sanyogavash anādi kālase jisakī bandhaparyāy prasiddha hai aise jīvake aupādhik bhāv

yathā khalu salilamishritasya kṣhīrasya salilen sah parasparāvagāhalakṣhaṇe sambandhe satyapi svalakṣhaṇabhūtakṣhīratvaguṇavyāpyatayā salilādadhikatven pratīyamānatvādagneruṣhṇaguṇenev sah ( – varṇādik)kā avalamban lekar pravartamān hotā huā, (vah vyavahāranay) dūsareke bhāvako dūsarekā kahatā hai; aur nishchayanay dravyāshrit honese, keval ek jīvake svābhāvik bhāvakā avalamban lekar pravartamān hotā huā, dūsareke bhāvako kiñchitmātra bhī dūsarekā nahīn kahatā, niṣhedh karatā hai . isaliye varṇase lekar guṇasthān paryanta jo bhāv hain ve vyavahāranayase jīvake hain aur nishchayanayase jīvake nahīn hain aisā (bhagavānakā syādvādayukta) kathan yogya hai ..56..
ab phi ra shiṣhya prashna pūchhatā hai ki varṇādik nishchayase jīvake kyon nahīn hain isakā kāraṇ kahiye . isakā uttar gāthārūpase kahate hain : —
gāthārtha : — [etaiḥ cha sambandhaḥ ] in varṇādik bhāvoṅke sāth jīvakā sambandha [kṣhīrodakan yathā ev ] dūdh aur pānīkā ekakṣhetrāvagāharūp sanyog sambandha hai aisā [gnātavyaḥ ] jānanā [cha ] aur [tāni ] ve [tasya tu na bhavanti ] us jīvake nahīn hain, [yasmāt ] kyoṅki jīv [upayogaguṇādhikaḥ ] unase upayogaguṇase adhik hai ( – vah upayog guṇake dvārā bhinna gnāt hotā hai) .
ṭīkā : — jaise — jalamishrit dūdhakā, jalake sāth paraspar avagāhasvarūp sambandha hone par bhī, svalakṣhaṇabhūt dugdhatva-guṇake dvārā vyāpta honese dūdh jalase adhikapanese pratīt hotā hai;

ab yahān̐ prashna hotā hai ki isaprakār to vyavahāranay aur nishchayanayakā virodh ātā hai, avirodh kaise kahā jā sakatā hai ? isakā uttar dr̥uṣhṭānta dvārā tīn gāthāommen kahate hain : —
jinavar kahe vyavahārase ‘yah varṇa hai is jīvakā’ ..59..

gāthārtha : — [pathi muṣhyamāṇan ] jaise mārgamen jāte huye vyaktiko luṭatā huā [dr̥uṣhṭavā ] dekhakar ‘[eṣhaḥ panthā ] yah mārga [muṣhyate ] luṭatā hai’ isaprakār [vyavahāriṇaḥ lokāḥ ] vyavahārījan [bhaṇanti ] kahate hain; kintu paramārthase vichār kiyā jāye to [kashchit panthā ] koī mārga to [na cha muṣhyate ] nahīn luṭatā, mārgamen jātā huā manuṣhya hī luṭatā hai; [tathā ] isaprakār [jīve ] jīvamen [karmaṇān nokarmaṇān cha ] karmoṅkā aur nokarmoṅkā [varṇam ] varṇa [dr̥uṣhṭavā ] dekhakar ‘[jīvasya ] jīvakā [eṣhaḥ varṇaḥ ] yah varṇa hai’ isaprakār [jinaiḥ ] jinendradevane [vyavahārataḥ ] vyavahārase [ukta : ] kahā hai . isīprakār [gandharasasparsharūpāṇi ] gandha, ras, sparsha, rūp, [dehaḥ sansthānādayaḥ ] deh, sansthān ādi [ye cha sarve ] jo sab hain, [vyavahārasya ] ve sab vyavahārase [nishchayadraṣhṭāraḥ ] nishchayake dekhanevāle [vyapadishanti ] kahate hain .
ṭīkā : — jaise vyavahārī jan, mārgamen jāte hue kisī sārtha(saṅgh)ko luṭatā huā dekhakar, saṅghakī mārgamen sthiti honese usakā upachār karake, ‘yah mārga luṭatā hai’ aisā kahate hain, tathāpi nishchayase dekhā jāye to, jo ākāshake amuk bhāgasvarūp hai aisā koī mārga to nahīn luṭatā; isīprakār bhagavān arahantadev, jīvamen bandhaparyāyase sthitiko prāpta (rahā huā) karma aur nokarmakā varṇa dekhakar, (karma-nokarmake) varṇakī (bandhaparyāyase) jīvamen sthiti honese usakā upachār karake, ‘jīvakā yah varṇa hai aisā vyavahārase pragaṭ karate hain, tathāpi nishchayase, sadā hī jisakā amūrta svabhāv hai aur jo upayogaguṇake dvārā anyadravyonse adhik

hai aise jīvakā koī bhī varṇa nahīn hai . isīprakār gandha, ras, sparsha, rūp, sharīr, sansthān, sanhanan, rāg, dveṣh, moh, pratyay, karma, nokarma, varga, vargaṇā, spardhak, adhyātmasthān, anubhāgasthān, yogasthān, bandhasthān, udayasthān, mārgaṇāsthān, sthitibandhasthān, saṅkleshasthān, vishuddhisthān, sanyamalabdhisthān, jīvasthān aur guṇasthān — yah sab hī (bhāv) vyavahārase arahantabhagavān jīvake kahate hain, tathāpi nishchayase, sadā hī jisakā amūrta svabhāv hai aur jo upayog guṇake dvārā anyase adhik hai aise jīvake ve sab nahīn hain, kyoṅki in varṇādi bhāvoṅke aur jīvake tādātmyalakṣhaṇ sambandhakā abhāv hai .
bhāvārtha : — ye varṇase lekar guṇasthān paryanta bhāv siddhāntamen jīvake kahe hain ve vyavahāranayase kahe hain; nishchayanayase ve jīvake nahīn hain, kyoṅki jīv to paramārthase upayogasvarūp hai .
yahān̐ aisā jānanā ki — pahale vyavahāranayako asatyārtha kahā thā so vahān̐ aisā na samajhanā ki yah sarvathā asatyārtha hai, kintu kathañchit asatyārtha jānanā; kyoṅki jab ek dravyako bhinna, paryāyonse abhedarūp, usake asādhāraṇ guṇamātrako pradhān karake kahā jātā hai tab paraspar dravyoṅkā nimitta-naimittikabhāv tathā nimittase honevālī paryāyen — ve sab gauṇ ho jāte hain, ve ek abhedadravyakī dr̥uṣhṭimen pratibhāsit nahīn hote . isaliye ve sab us dravyamen nahīn hai isaprakār kathañchit niṣhedh kiyā jātā hai . yadi un bhāvoṅko us dravyamen kahā jāye to vah vyavahāranayase kahā jā sakatā hai . aisā nayavibhāg hai .
yahān̐ shuddhanayakī dr̥uṣhṭise kathan hai, isaliye aisā siddha kiyā hai ki jo yah samasta bhāv siddhāntamen jīvake kahe gaye hain so vyavahārase kahe gaye hain . yadi nimitta-naimittikabhāvakī dr̥uṣhṭise dekhā jāye to vah vyavahār kathañchit satyārtha bhī kahā jā sakatā hai . yadi sarvathā asatyārtha hī kahā jāye to sarva vyavahārakā lop ho jāyegā aur sarva vyavahārakā lop honese paramārthakā bhī lop ho jāyegā . isaliye jinendradevakā upadesh syādvādarūp samajhanā hī samyaggnān hai, aur sarvathā ekānta vah mithyātva hai ..58* se 60..

gāthārtha : — [varṇādayaḥ ] jo varṇādik hain ve [sansārasthānān ] sansāramen sthit [jīvānān ] jīvoṅke [tatra bhave ] us sansāramen [bhavanti ] hote hain aur [sansārapramuktānān ] sansārase mukta hue jīvoṅke [khalu ] nishchayase [varṇādayaḥ ke chit ] varṇādik koī bhī (bhāv) [na santi ] nahīn hai; (isaliye tādātmyasambandha nahīn hai) .
ṭīkā : — jo nishchayase samasta hī avasthāommen yad-ātmakapanese arthāt jis -svarūpapanese vyāpta ho aur tad-ātmakapanekī arthāt us-svarūpapanekī vyāptise rahit na ho, usakā unake sāth tādātmyalakṣhaṇ sambandha hotā hai . (jo vastu sarva avasthāommen jis bhāvasvarūp ho aur kisī avasthāmen us bhāvasvarūpatāko na chhoṛe, us vastukā un bhāvoṅke sāth tādātmyasambandha hotā hai .) isaliye sabhī avasthāommen jo varṇādisvarūpatāse vyāpta hotā hai aur varṇādisvarūpatākī vyāptise rahit nahīn hotā aise pudgalakā varṇādibhāvoṅke sāth tādātmyalakṣhaṇ sambandha hai; aur yadyapi sansār-avasthāmen kathañchit varṇādisvarūpatāse vyāpta hotā hai tathā

bhāvārtha : — dravyakī sarva avasthāommen dravyamen jo bhāv vyāpta hote hain un bhāvoṅke sāth dravyakā tādātmyasambandha kahalātā hai . pudgalakī sarva avasthāommen pudgalamen varṇādibhāv vyāpta hain, isaliye varṇādibhāvoṅke sāth pudgalakā tādātmyasambandha hai . sansārāvasthāmen jīvamen varṇādibhāv kisī prakārase kahe jā sakate hain, kintu mokṣha-avasthāmen jīvamen varṇādibhāv sarvathā nahīn hain, isaliye jīvakā varṇādibhāvoṅke sāth tādātmyasambandha nahīn hai yah bāt nyāyaprāpta hai ..61..
ab, yadi koī aisā mithyā abhiprāy vyakta kare ki jīvakā varṇādike sāth tādātmya hai, to usamen yah doṣh ātā hai aisā is gāthā dvārā kahate hain : —
to jīv aur ajīvamen kuchh bhed tujh rahatā nahīn ! ..62..
gāthārtha : — varṇādik ke sāth jīvakā tādātmya mānanevāleko kahate hain ki — he mithyā abhiprāyavāle ! [yadi hi cha ] yadi tum [iti manyase ] aise mānoge ki [ete sarve bhāvāḥ ] yah varṇādik sarva bhāv [jīvaḥ ev hi ] jīv hī hain, [tu ] to [te ] tumhāre matamen [jīvasya cha ajīvasya ] jīv aur ajīvakā [kashchit ] koī [visheṣhaḥ ] bhed [nāsti ] nahīn rahatā .

prasiddha karate hain, vistārate hain — aisā jisakā abhiprāy hai usake matamen, anya sheṣh dravyonse
par, pudgalonse bhinna aisā koī jīvadravya na rahanese, jīvakā avashya abhāv hotā hai .
bhāvārtha : — jaise varṇādik bhāv pudgaladravyake sāth tādātmyasvarūp hain usī prakār jīvake sāth bhī tādātmyasvarūp hon to jīv-pudgalamen kuchh bhī bhed na rahe aur aisā honese jīvakā abhāv hī ho jāye yah mahādoṣh ātā hai ..62..
ab, ‘mātra sansār-avasthāmen hī jīvakā varṇādike sāth tādātmya hai is abhiprāyamen bhī yahī doṣh ātā hai so kahate hain : —
sansārasthit sab jīvagaṇ pāye tadā rūpitvako ..63..

ṭīkā : — phi ra jisakā yah abhiprāy hai ki — sansār-avasthāmen jīvakā varṇādibhāvoṅke sāth tādātmyasambandha hai, usake matamen sansār-avasthāke samay vah jīv avashya rūpitvako prāpta hotā hai; aur rūpitva to kisī dravyakā, sheṣh dravyonse asādhāraṇ aisā lakṣhaṇ hai . isaliye rūpitva(lakṣhaṇ)se lakṣhit (lakṣhyarūp honevālā) jo kuchh ho vahī jīv hai . rūpitvase lakṣhit to pudgaladravya hī hai . isaprakār pudgaladravya hī svayam jīv hai, kintu usake atirikta dūsarā koī jīv nahīn hai . aisā hone par, mokṣha-avasthāmen bhī pudgaladravya hī svayam jīv (siddha hotā) hai, kintu usake atirikta anya koī jīv (siddha hotā) nahīn; kyoṅki sadā apane svalakṣhaṇase lakṣhit aisā dravya sabhī avasthāommen hāni athavā hrāsako na prāpta honese anādi-ananta hotā hai . aisā honese, usake matamen bhī (sansār-avasthāmen hī jīvakā varṇādike sāth tādātya mānanevāleke matamen bhī), pudgalonse bhinna aisā koī jīvadravya na rahanese, jīvakā avashya abhāv hotā hai .

[karaṇabhūtābhiḥ ] karaṇasvarūp hokar [nirvr̥uttāni ] rachit [jīvasthānāni ] jo jīvasthān
(jīvasamās) hain ve [jīvaḥ ] jīv [kathan ] kaise [bhaṇyate ] kahe jā sakate hain ?
ṭīkā : — nishchayanayase karma aur karaṇakī abhinnatā honese, jo jisase kiyā jātā hai ( – hotā hai) vah vahī hai — yah samajhakar (nishchay karake), jaise suvarṇapatra suvarṇase kiyā jātā honese suvarṇa hī hai, anya kuchh nahīn hai, isīprakār jīvasthān bādar, sūkṣhma, ekendriy, dvīndriy, trīndriy, chaturindriy, pañchendriy, paryāpta aur aparyāpta nāmak pudgalamayī nāmakarmakī prakr̥itiyonse kiye jāte honese pudgal hī hain, jīv nahīn hain . aur nāmakarmakī prakr̥itiyoṅkī pudgalamayatā to āgamase prasiddha hai tathā anumānase bhī jānī jā sakatī hai, kyoṅki pratyakṣha dikhāī denevāle sharīr ādi to mūrtik bhāv hain ve karmaprakr̥itiyoṅke kārya hain, isaliye karmaprakr̥itiyān̐ pudgalamay hain aisā anumān ho sakatā hai .
isīprakār gandha, ras, sparsha, rūp, sharīr, sansthān aur sanhanan bhī pudgalamay nāmakarmakī prakr̥itiyoṅke dvārā rachit honese pudgalase abhinna hai; isaliye mātra jīvasthānoṅko pudgalamay kahane par, in sabako bhī pudgalamay hī kathit samajhanā chāhiye .

ab, yah kahate hain ki gnānaghan ātmāke atirikta jo kuchh hai use jīv kahanā so sab vyavahār mātra hai : —

[sūtre ] sūtramen [vyavahārataḥ ] vyavahārase [uktāḥ ] kahī hain .
ṭīkā : — bādar, sūkṣhma, ekendriy, dvīndriy, trīndriy, chaturindriy, pañchendriy, paryāpta, aparyāpta — in sharīrakī sañgnāoṅko (nāmoṅko) sūtramen jīvasañgnārūpase kahā hai, vah parakī prasiddhike kāraṇ, ‘ghīke ghaṛe’ kī bhān̐ti vyavahār hai — ki jo vyavahār aprayojanārtha hai (arthāt usamen prayojanabhūt vastu nahīn hai) . isī bātako spaṣhṭa kahate hain : —
jaise kisī puruṣhako janmase lekar mātra ‘ghīkā ghaṛā’ hī prasiddha (gnāt) ho, usake atirikta vah dūsare ghaṛeko na jānatā ho, use samajhāneke liye ‘‘jo yah ‘ghīkā ghaṛā’ hai so miṭṭīmay hai, ghīmay nahīn’’ isaprakār (samajhānevāleke dvārā) ghaṛemen ‘ghīkā ghaṛe’kā vyavahār kiyā jātā hai, kyoṅki us puruṣhako ‘ghīkā ghaṛā’ hī prasiddha (gnāt) hai; isīprakār is agnānī lokako anādi sansārase lekar ‘ashuddha jīv’ hī prasiddha (gnāt) hai, vah shuddha jīvako nahīn jānatā, use samajhāneke liye ( — shuddha jīvakā gnān karāneke liye) ‘‘jo yah ‘varṇādimān jīv’ hai so gnānamay hai , varṇādimay nahīn ’’ isaprakār (sūtramen) jīvamen varṇādi-mānapanekā vyavahār kiyā gayā hai, kyoṅki us agnānī lokako ‘varṇādimān jīv’ hī prasiddha (gnāt) hain ..67..

bhāvārtha : — ghīse bhare hue ghaṛeko vyavahārase ‘ghīkā ghaṛā’ kahā jātā hai tathāpi nishchayase ghaṛā ghī-svarūp nahīn hai; ghī ghī-svarūp hai, ghaṛā miṭṭī-svarūp hai; isīprakār varṇa, paryāpti, indriyān̐ ityādike sāth ekakṣhetrāvagāharūp sambandhavāle jīvako sūtramen vyavahārase ‘pañchendriy jīv, paryāpta jīv, bādar jīv, dev jīv, manuṣhya jīv’ ityādi kahā gayā hai tathāpi nishchayase jīv us-svarūp nahīn hai; varṇa, paryāpti, indriyān̐ ityādi pudgalasvarūp hain, jīv gnānasvarūp hai .40.
ab kahate hain ki (jaise varṇādi bhāv jīv nahīn hain yah siddha huā usīprakār) yah bhī siddha huā ki rāgādi bhāv bhī jīv nahīn hain : —
ve kyon bane ātmā, nirantar jo achetan jin kahe ? ..68..
gāthārtha : — [yāni imāni ] jo yah [guṇasthānāni ] guṇasthān hain ve [mohanakarmaṇaḥ udayāt tu ] mohakarmake udayase hote hain [varṇitāni ] aisā (sarvagnake āgamamen) varṇan kiyā gayā hai; [tāni ] ve [jīvāḥ ] jīv [kathan ] kaise [bhavanti ] ho sakate hain [yāni ] ki jo [nityan ] sadā [achetanāni ] achetan [uktāni ] kahe gaye hain ?
ṭīkā : — ye mithyādr̥uṣhṭi ādi guṇasthān paudgalik mohakarmakī prakr̥itike udayapūrvak hote honese, sadā hī achetan honese, kāraṇ jaise hī kārya hote hain aisā samajhakar (nishchayakar) jaupūrvak honevāle jo jau, ve jau hī hote hain isī nyāyase, ve pudgal hī hain — jīv nahīn . aur guṇasthānoṅkā sadā hī achetanatva to āgamase siddha hotā hai tathā chaitanyasvabhāvase vyāpta jo ātmā usase bhinnapanese ve guṇasthān bhedagnāniyoṅke dvārā svayam upalabhyamān hain, isaliye bhī unakā sadā hī achetanatva siddha hotā hai .

isīprakār rāg, dveṣh, moh, pratyay, karma, nokarma, varga, vargaṇā, spardhak, adhyātmasthān, anubhāgasthān, yogasthān, bandhasthān, udayasthān, mārgaṇāsthān, sthitibandhasthān, saṅkleshasthān, vishuddhisthān aur sanyamalabdhisthān bhī pudgalakarmapūrvak hote honese, sadā hī achetan honese, pudgal hī hain — jīv nahīn aisā svataḥ siddha ho gayā .
bhāvārtha : — shuddhadravyārthik nayakī dr̥uṣhṭimen chaitanya abhed hai aur usake pariṇām bhī svābhāvik shuddha gnān-darshan hain . paranimittase honevāle chaitanyake vikār, yadyapi chaitanya jaise dikhāī dete hain tathāpi, chaitanyakī sarva avasthāommen vyāpak na honese chaitanyashūnya hain — jaṛ hain . aur āgamamen bhī unhen achetan kahā hai . bhedagnānī bhī unhen chaitanyase bhinnarūp anubhav karate hain, isaliye bhī ve achetan hain, chetan nahīn .
jaisā hī kārya hotā hai .
isaprakār yah siddha kiyā ki pudgalakarmake udayake nimittase honevāle chaitanyake vikār bhī jīv nahīn, pudgal hain ..68..
ab yahān̐ prashna hotā hai ki varṇādik aur rāgādik jīv nahīn hain to jīv kaun hai ? usake uttararūp shlok kahate hain : —
shlokārtha : — [anādi ] jo anādi1 hai, [anantam ] ananta2 hai, [achalan ] 1. arthāt kisī kāl utpanna nahīn huā . 2. arthāt kisī kāl jisakā vināsh nahīn .

achal1 hai, [svasamvedyam ] svasamvedya2 hai [tu ] aur [sphu ṭam ] pragaṭ3 hai — aisā jo [idan chaitanyam ] yah chaitanya [uchchaiḥ ] atyanta [chakachakāyate ] chakachakit – prakāshit ho rahā hai, [svayam jīvaḥ ] vah svayam hī jīv hai .
bhāvārtha : — varṇādik aur rāgādik bhāv jīv nahīn hain, kintu jaisā ū par kahā vaisā chaitanyabhāv hī jīv hai .41.
shlokārtha : — [yataḥ ajīvaḥ asti dvedhā ] ajīv do prakārake hain — [varṇādyaiḥ sahitaḥ ] varṇādisahit [tathā virahitaḥ ] aur varṇādirahit; [tataḥ ] isaliye [amūrtatvam upāsya ] amūrtatvakā āshray lekar bhī (arthāt amūrtatvako jīvakā lakṣhaṇ mānakar bhī) [jīvasya tattvan ] jīvake yathārtha svarūpako [jagat na pashyati ] jagat nahīn dekh sakatā; — [iti ālochya ] isaprakār parīkṣhā karake [vivechakaiḥ ] bhedagnānī puruṣhonne [na avyāpi ativyāpi vā ] avyāpti aur ativyāpti dūṣhaṇonse rahit [chaitanyam ] chetanatvako jīvakā lakṣhaṇ kahā hai [samuchitan ] vah yogya hai . [vyaktan ] vah chaitanyalakṣhaṇ pragaṭ hai, [vyañjit-jīv-tattvam ] usane jīvake yathārtha svarūpako pragaṭ kiyā hai aur [achalan ] vah achal hai — chalāchalatā rahit, sadā vidyamān hai . [ālambyatām ] jagat usīkā avalamban karo ! (usase yathārtha jīvakā grahaṇ hotā hai .)
bhāvārtha : — nishchayase varṇādibhāv — varṇādibhāvommen rāgādibhāv antarhit hain — jīvamen kabhī vyāpti nahīn hote, isaliye ve nishchayase jīvake lakṣhaṇ hain hī nahīn; unhen vyavahārase jīvakā lakṣhaṇ mānane par bhī avyāpti nāmak doṣh ātā hai, kyoṅki siddha jīvommen ve bhāv vyavahārase bhī vyāpta nahīn hote . isaliye varṇādibhāvoṅkā āshray lenese jīvakā yathārthasvarūp jānā hī nahīn jātā .
yadyapi amūrtatva sarva jīvommen vyāpta hai tathāpi use jīvakā lakṣhaṇ mānane par ativyāptināmak doṣh ātā hai,kāraṇ ki pān̐ch ajīv dravyommense ek pudgaladravyake atirikta dharma, 1. arthāt jo kabhī chaitanyapanese anyarūp – chalāchal nahīn hotā . 2. arthāt jo svayam apane āpase hī jānā

chaitanyalakṣhaṇ sarva jīvommen vyāpatā honese avyāptidoṣhase rahit hai, aur jīvake atirikta kisī anya dravyamen vyāpatā na honese ativyāptidoṣhase rahit hai; aur vah pragaṭ hai; isaliye usīkā āshray grahaṇ karanese jīvake yathārtha svarūpakā grahaṇ ho sakatā hai .42.
ab, ‘jab ki aise lakṣhaṇase jīv pragaṭ hai tab bhī agnānī janoṅko usakā agnān kyon rahatā hai ? — isaprakār āchāryadev āshcharya tathā khed pragaṭ karate hain : —
shlokārtha : — [iti lakṣhaṇataḥ ] yon pūrvokta bhinna lakṣhaṇake kāraṇ [jīvāt ajīvam vibhinnan ] jīvase ajīv bhinna hai [svayam ullasantam ] use (ajīvako) apane āp hī (-svatantrapane, jīvase bhinnapane) vilasit huā — pariṇamit hotā huā [gnānī janaḥ ] gnānījan [anubhavati ] anubhav karate hain, [tat ] tathāpi [agnāninaḥ ] agnānīko [niravadhi-pravijr̥umbhitaḥ ayan mohaḥ tu ] amaryādarūpase phai lā huā yah moh (arthāt sva-parake ekatvakī bhrānti) [katham nānaṭīti ] kyon nāchatā hai — [aho bat ] yah hamen mahā āshcharya aur khed hai ! 43.
ab punaḥ mohakā pratiṣhedh karate hue kahate hain ki ‘yadi moh nāchatā hai to nācho ? tathāpi aisā hī hai’ : —

jīvājīvau sphu ṭavighaṭanan naiv yāvatprayātaḥ .
gnātr̥udravyan svayamatirasāttāvaduchchaishchakāshe ..45..
avivekake nāṭakamen athavā nāchamen [varṇādimān pudgalaḥ ev naṭati ] varṇādimān pudgal hī nāchatā hai, [na anyaḥ ] anya koī nahīn; (abhed gnānamen pudgal hī anek prakārakā dikhāī detā hai, jīv to anek prakārakā nahīn hai;) [cha ] aur [ayan jīvaḥ ] yah jīv to [rāgādi-pudgal-vikār- viruddha-shuddha-chaitanyadhātumay-mūrtiḥ ] rāgādik pudgal-vikāronse vilakṣhaṇ, shuddha chaitanyadhātumay mūrti hai .
bhāvārtha : — rāgādik chidvikāroṅko (-chaitanyavikāroṅko) dekhakar aisā bhram nahīn karanā ki ye bhī chaitanya hī hain, kyoṅki chaitanyakī sarvaavasthāommen vyāpta hon to chaitanyake kahalāyen . rāgādi vikār sarva avasthāommen vyāpta nahīn hote — mokṣhaavasthāmen unakā abhāv hai . aur unakā anubhav bhī ākulatāmay duḥkharūp hai . isaliye ve chetan nahīn, jaṛ hain . chaitanyakā anubhav nirākul hai, vahī jīvakā svabhāv hai aisā jānanā .44.
ab, bhedagnānakī pravr̥uttike dvārā yah gnātādravya svayam pragaṭ hotā hai isaprakār kalashamen mahimā pragaṭ karake adhikār pūrṇa karate hain : —
shlokārtha : — [itthan ] isaprakār [gnān-krakach-kalanā-pāṭanan ] gnānarūpī karavatakā jo bārambār abhyās hai use [nāṭayitvā ] nachākar [yāvat ] jahān̐ [jīvājīvau ] jīv aur ajīv donāen [sphu ṭa-vighaṭanan na ev prayātaḥ ] pragaṭarūpase alag nahīn hue, [tāvat ] vahān̐ to [gnātr̥udravya ] gnātādravya, [prasabh-vikasat-vyakta -chinmātrashaktyā ] atyanta vikāsarūp hotī huī apanī pragaṭ chinmātrashaktise [vishvan vyāpya ] vishvako vyāpta karake, [svayam ] apane āp hī [atirasāt ] ati vegase [uchchaiḥ ] ugratayā arthāt ātyantikarūpase [chakāshe ] prakāshit ho uṭhā .
uparokta gnānakā abhyās karate karate jahān̐ jīv aur ajīv donon spaṣhṭa bhinna samajhamen āye ki tatkāl hī ātmākā nirvikalpa anubhav huā — samyagdarshan huā . (samyagdr̥uṣhṭi ātmā shrutagnānase vishvake samasta bhāvoṅko saṅkṣhepase athavā vistārase jānatā hai aur nishchayase vishvako pratyakṣha jānanekā usakā svabhāv hai; isaliye yah kahā ki vah vishvako jānatā hai .) ek āshay to isaprakār hai .
