adhyavasAnamev bandhahetu, na tu bAhyavastu, tasya bandhahetoradhyavasAnasya hetutvenaiv charitArthatvAt . tarhi kimartho bAhyavastupratiShedha ? adhyavasAnapratiShedhArtha . adhyavasAnasya hi bAhyavastu AshrayabhUtan; na hi bAhyavastvanAshritya adhyavasAnamAtmAnan labhate . yadi bAhyavastvanAshrityApi adhyavasAnan jAyet tadA, yathA vIrasUsutasyAshrayabhUtasya sadbhAve
aur bhI aisI shankA na karanI ki ‘bAhyavastu vah dUsarA bhI bandhakA kAraN hogA’ . (‘adhyavasAy bandhakA ek kAraN hogA aur bAhyavastu bandhakA dUsarA kAraN hogA’ aisI bhI shankA karane yogya nahIn hai; adhyavasAy hI ekamAtra bandhakA kAraN hai, bAhyavastu nahIn .) isI arthakI gAthA ab kahate hain : —
gAthArtha : — [puna ] aur, [jIvAnAm ] jIvonke [yat ] jo [adhyavasAnan tu ] adhyavasAn [bhavati ] hotA hai vah [vastu ] vastuko [pratItya ] avalambakar hotA hai, [cha tu ] tathApi [vastuta ] vastuse [na bandha ] bandha nahIn hotA, [adhyavasAnen ] adhyavasAnase hI [bandha asti ] bandha hotA hai .
TIkA : — adhyavasAn hI bandhakA kAraN hai; bAhya vastu nahIn, kyonki bandhakA kAraN jo adhyavasAn hai usake kAraNatvase hI bAhyavastukI charitArthatA hai (arthAt bandhake kAraNabhUt adhyavasAnakA kAraN honemen hI bAhyavastukA kAryakShetra pUrA ho jAtA hai, vah vastu bandhakA kAraN nahIn hotI) . yahAn prashna hotA hai ki — yadi bAhyavastu bandhakA kAraN nahIn hai to (‘bAhyavastukA prasang mat karo, kintu tyAg karo’ isaprakAr) bAhyavastukA niShedh kisaliye kiyA jAtA hai ? isakA samAdhAn isaprakAr hai : — adhyavasAnake niShedhake liye bAhyavastukA niShedh kiyA jAtA hai . adhyavasAnako bAhyavastu AshrayabhUt hai; bAhyavastukA Ashray kiye binA adhyavasAn apane
