sarvathā asatyārtha na mānā jāye; kyoṅki syādvādapramāṇase shuddhatā aur ashuddhatā — donon vastuke dharma hain aur vastudharma vastukā sattva hai; antar mātra itanā hī hai ki ashuddhatā paradravyake sanyogase hotī hai . ashuddhanayako yahān̐ hey kahā hai, kyoṅki ashuddhanayakā viṣhay sansār hai aur sansāramen ātmā klesh bhogatā hai; jab svayam paradravyase bhinna hotā hai tab sansār chhūṭatā hai aur klesh dūr hotā hai . isaprakār duḥkh miṭāneke liye shuddhanayakā upadesh pradhān hai . ashuddhanayako asatyārtha kahanese yah na samajhanā chāhie ki ākāshake phū lakī bhān̐ti vah vastudharma sarvathā hī nahīn hai . aisā sarvathā ekānta samajhanese mithyātva hotā hai; isaliye syādvādakī sharaṇ lekar shuddhanayakā ālamban lenā chāhiye . svarūpakī prāpti honeke bād shuddhanayakā bhī ālamban nahīn rahatā . jo vastusvarūp hai vah hai — yah pramāṇadr̥uṣhṭi hai . isakā phal vītarāgatā hai . isaprakār nishchay karanā yogya hai .
yahān̐, (gnāyakabhāv) pramatta-apramatta nahīn hai aisā kahā hai vahān̐ guṇasthānoṅkī paripāṭīmen chhaṭṭhe guṇasthān tak pramatta aur sātavense lekar apramatta kahalātā hai . kintu yah sab guṇasthān ashuddhanayakī kathanīmen hai; shuddhanayase to ātmā gnāyak hī hai ..6..
ab, prashna yah hotā hai ki darshan, gnān aur chāritrako ātmākā dharma kahā gayā hai, kintu yah to tīn bhed hue; aur in bhedarūp bhāvonse ātmāko ashuddhatā ātī hai ! isake uttarasvarūp gāthāsūtra kahate hain : —
gāthārtha : — [gnāninaḥ ] gnānīke [charitran darshanan gnānam ] chāritra, darshan, gnān — yah tīn bhāv [vyavahāreṇ ] vyavahārase [upadishyate ] kahe jāte hain; nishchayase [gnānan api na ] gnān bhī nahīn hai, [charitran na ] chāritra bhī nahīn hai aur [darshanan na ] darshan bhī nahīn hai; gnānī to ek [gnāyakaḥ shuddhaḥ ] shuddha gnāyak hī hai .
