khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ‘‘सम्यग्द्रष्टेः नियतं ज्ञानवैराग्यशक्तिः भवति’’ (सम्यग्द्रष्टेः) dravyarūpe mithyātvakarma upashamyun chhe jene, bhāvarūpe shuddha samyaktvabhāvarūp pariṇamyo chhe je jīv, tene (ज्ञान) shuddhasvarūpanā anubhavarūp jāṇapaṇun ane (वैराग्य) jeṭalān paradravya — dravyakarmarūp, bhāvakarmarūp, nokarmarūp — gneyarūp chhe te samasta paradravyono sarva prakāre tyāg — (शक्तिः) evī be shaktio (नियतं भवति) avashya hoy chhe – sarvathā hoy chhe; [banne shaktio je rīte hoy chhe te kahe chhe — ] ‘‘यस्मात् अयं स्वस्मिन् आस्ते परात् सर्वतः रागयोगात् विरमति’’ (यस्मात्) kāraṇ ke (अयं) samyagdraṣhṭi (स्वस्मिन् आस्ते) sahaj ja shuddhasvarūpamān anubhavarūp hoy chhe tathā (परात् रागयोगात्) pudgaladravyanī upādhithī chhe jeṭalī rāgādi ashuddhapariṇati, tenāthī (सर्वतः विरमति) sarva prakāre rahit hoy chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — āvun lakṣhaṇ samyagdraṣhṭi jīvane avashya hoy chhe. āvun lakṣhaṇ hotān avashya vairāgya guṇ chhe. shun karīne evo hoy chhe? ‘‘स्वं परं च इदं व्यतिकरम् तत्त्वतः ज्ञात्वा’’ (स्वं) shuddha chaitanyamātra mārun svarūp chhe, (परं) dravyakarma-bhāvakarma-nokarmano vistār parāyo — pudgaladravyano chhe, (इदं व्यतिकरम्) evun vivaraṇ (तत्त्वतः ज्ञात्वा) kahevā māṭe nathī, vastusvarūp evun ja chhe em anubhavarūp jāṇe chhe samyagdraṣhṭi jīv, tethī gnānashakti chhe. have āṭalun kare chhe samyagdraṣhṭi jīv te shāne māṭe? uttar ām chhe — ‘‘स्वं वस्तुत्वं कलयितुम्’’ (स्वं वस्तुत्वं) potānun shuddhapaṇun, tenā (कलयितुम्) nirantar abhyās māṭe arthāt vastunī prāptine māṭe. te vastunī prāpti shānāthī thāy chhe?

khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ā prasaṅge em kahe chhe ke samyagdraṣhṭi jīvane viṣhay bhogavatān karmano bandh nathī; tyān kāraṇ em chhe ke samyagdraṣhṭinā pariṇām ghaṇā ja lūkhā chhe, tethī bhog evo lāge chhe jāṇe koī rogano upasarga thato hoy; tethī karmano bandh nathī, em ja chhe. je koī mithyādraṣhṭi jīv pāñch indriyonā viṣhayanā sukhane bhogave chhe teo pariṇāmothī chīkaṇā chhe, mithyātvabhāvanā evā ja pariṇām chhe, sahāro kono chhe? tyān te jīvo evun māne chhe ke ‘ame paṇ samyagdraṣhṭi chhīe, amāre paṇ viṣhayasukh bhogavatān karmano bandh nathī;’ parantu te jīvo bhrāntimān paḍyā chhe, temane karmano bandh avashya chhe, tethī te jīvo mithyādraṣhṭi avashya chhe. mithyātvabhāv vinā karmanī sāmagrīmān prīti ūpajatī nathī em kahe chhe — ‘‘ते रागिणः अद्यापि पापाः’’ (ते) mithyādraṣhṭi jīvarāshi (रागिणः) sharīr-pañchendriyanā bhogasukhamān avashya rañjit chhe, (अद्यापि) karoḍ upāy jo kare anant kāḷ paryant topaṇ (पापाः) pāpamay chhe, gnānāvaraṇādi karmabandhane kare chhe, mahānindya chhe. shā kāraṇathī evo chhe? ‘‘यतः सम्यक्त्वरिक्ताः सन्ति’’ (यतः) kāraṇ ke viṣhayasukharañjit chhe jeṭalo jīvarāshi te, (सम्यक्त्वरिक्ताः सन्ति) shuddhātmasvarūpanā anubhavathī shūnya chhe. shā kāraṇathī? ‘‘आत्मानात्मावगमविरहात्’’ (आत्म) shuddha chaitanya vastu, (अनात्म) dravyakarma-bhāvakarma-nokarma, temanun (अवगम) hey- upādeyarūpe bhinnapaṇārūp jāṇapaṇun, tenun (विरहात्) shūnyapaṇun hovāthī. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — mithyādraṣhṭi jīvane shuddha vastunā anubhavanī shakti hotī nathī evo niyam chhe, tethī mithyādraṣhṭi jīv karmano uday potārūp jāṇīne anubhave chhe, paryāyamātramān atyant rat chhe; te kāraṇe mithyādraṣhṭi sarvathā rāgī hoy chhe, rāgī hovāthī

karmabandhanā kartā chhe. kevā chhe mithyādraṣhṭi jīv? ‘‘अयम् अहं स्वयम् सम्यग्द्रष्टिः जातु मे बन्धः न स्यात्’’ ‘(अयम् अहं) ā je chhun hun, te (स्वयम् सम्यग्द्रष्टिः) svayam samyagdraṣhṭi chhun, tethī (जातु) traṇe kāḷ (मे बन्धः न स्यात्) anek prakāranun viṣhayasukh bhogavatān paṇ mane to karmano bandh nathī;’ — ‘‘इति आचरन्तु’’ evā jīv evun māne chhe to māno, tathāpi temane karmabandh chhe. vaḷī kevā chhe? ‘‘उत्तानोत्पुलकवदनाः’’ (उत्तान) ūñchā karī (उत्पुलक) phulāvyān chhe (वदनाः) gāl-mukh jemaṇe, evā chhe. ‘‘अपि’’ athavā kevā chhe? ‘‘समितिपरतां आलम्बन्तां’’ (समिति) maunapaṇun athavā thoḍun bolavun athavā potāne hīṇo karī bolavun, tenun (परतां) samānarūp sāvadhānapaṇun, tene (आलम्बन्तां) avalambe chhe arthāt sarvathā prakāre ā rūpe prakr̥itino svabhāv chhe jemano, evā chhe; tathāpi rāgī hovāthī mithyādraṣhṭi chhe, karmabandhane kare chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — je koī jīv paryāyamātramān rat hotān pragaṭ mithyādraṣhṭi chhe temanī prakr̥itino svabhāv chhe ke ‘ame samyagdraṣhṭi, amane karmabandh nathī’ evun mukhathī garaje chhe, keṭalāk prakr̥itinā svabhāvane līdhe maun jevā rahe chhe, keṭalāk thoḍun bole chhe; tyān ā pramāṇe rahe chhe te samasta prakr̥itino svabhāvabhed chhe, emān paramārtha to kāī nathī. jeṭalā kāḷ sudhī jīv paryāyamān potāpaṇun anubhave chhe teṭalā kāḷ sudhī mithyādraṣhṭi chhe, rāgī chhe, karmabandhane kare chhe. 5 – 137.
सुप्ता यस्मिन्नपदमपदं तद्विबुध्यध्वमन्धाः ।

khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ‘‘यदि ज्ञानिनः उपभोगः भवति तत् भवतु’’ (यदि) jo kadāchit (ज्ञानिनः) samyagdraṣhṭi jīvane (उपभोगः) sharīr ādi sampūrṇa bhogasāmagrī (भवति) hoy chhe, samyagdraṣhṭi jīv bhogave chhe, (तत्) to (भवतु) sāmagrī ho, sāmagrīno bhog paṇ ho, ‘‘नूनम् परिग्रहभावम् न एति’’ (नूनम्) nishchayathī (परिग्रहभावम्) viṣhayasāmagrīnā svīkārarūp abhiprāyane (न एति) pāmato nathī. shā kāraṇathī? ‘‘अथ च रागवियोगात्’’ (अथ च) jyārathī samyagdraṣhṭi thayo (रागवियोगात्) tyārathī māṇḍīne viṣhayasāmagrīmān rāg-dveṣh-mohathī rahit thayo, te kāraṇathī. koī prashna kare chhe ke āvā virāgīne — samyagdraṣhṭi jīvane viṣhayasāmagrī kem hoy chhe? uttar ām chhe ke — ‘‘पूर्वबद्धनिजकर्मविपाकात्’’ (पूर्वबद्ध) samyaktva ūpajatān pahelān mithyādraṣhṭi jīv hato, rāgī hato; tyān rāgabhāv dvārā bāndhī hatī je (निजकर्म) potānā pradeshomān gnānāvaraṇādirūp kārmaṇavargaṇā, tenā (विपाकात्) udayane līdhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — rāg-dveṣh-mohapariṇām maṭatān dravyarūp bāhya sāmagrīno bhog bandhanun kāraṇ nathī, nirjarānun kāraṇ chhe; tethī samyagdraṣhṭi jīv anek prakāranī viṣhayasāmagrī bhogave chhe, parantu rañjitapariṇām nathī tethī bandh nathī, pūrve bāndhyun hatun je karma tenī nirjarā chhe. 14 – 146.
वेद्यते न खलु कांक्षितमेव ।

khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ‘‘तेन विद्वान् किञ्चन न कांक्षति’’ (तेन) te kāraṇathī (विद्वान्) samyagdraṣhṭi jīv, (किञ्चन) karmanā udayathī chhe nānā prakāranī sāmagrī temān koī sāmagrī (न कांक्षति) — karmanī sāmagrīmān koī sāmagrī — jīvane sukhanun kāraṇ em mānato nathī, sarva sāmagrī duḥkhanun kāraṇ em māne chhe. vaḷī kevo chhe samyagdraṣhṭi jīv? ‘‘सर्वतः अतिविरक्तिम् उपैति’’ (सर्वतः) jeṭalī karmajanit sāmagrī chhe tenā pratye man, vachan, kāy — trishuddhi vaḍe (अतिविरक्तिम्) ati viraktapaṇe arthāt sarvathā tyāgarūp (उपैति) pariṇame chhe. shā kāraṇathī evo chhe? ‘‘यतः खलु कांक्षितम् न वेद्यते एव’’ (यतः) kāraṇ ke (खलु) nishchayathī (कांक्षितम्) je kāī chintavyun chhe te (न वेद्यते) prāpta thatun nathī, (एव) em ja chhe. shā kāraṇathī? ‘‘वेद्यवेदकविभावचलत्वात्’’ (वेद्य) vāñchhavāmān āve chhe je vastusāmagrī ane (वेदक) vāñchhārūp jīvano ashuddha pariṇām, teo chhe (विभाव) banne ashuddha, vinashvar, karmajanit, te kāraṇathī (चलत्वात्) kṣhaṇe kṣhaṇe anya anya thāy chhe. koī anya chintavāy chhe, koī anya thāy chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — ashuddha rāgādi pariṇām tathā viṣhayasāmagrī banne samaye samaye vinashvar chhe, māṭe jīvanun svarūp nathī. ā kāraṇathī samyagdraṣhṭine evā bhāvono sarvathā tyāg chhe. tethī samyagdraṣhṭine bandh nathī, nirjarā chhe. 15 – 147.
कर्म रागरसरिक्ततयैति ।
स्वीकृतैव हि बहिर्लुठतीह ।।१६-१४८।।

(रस) veg, tenāthī (रिक्ततया) khālī chhe, evo bhāv hovāthī. draṣhṭānta kahe chhe — ‘‘हि इह अकषायितवस्त्रे रङ्गयुक्तिः बहिः लुठति एव’’ (हि) jem (इह) sarva lokamān pragaṭ chhe ke (अकषायित) haraḍān, phaṭakaḍī, lodhar jene lāgyān nathī evā (वस्त्रे) kapaḍāmān (रङ्गयुक्तिः) raṅgayukti arthāt majīṭhanā raṅgano sanyog karavāmān āve chhe topaṇ (बहिः लुठति) kapaḍāne lāgato nathī, bahār ne bahār phare chhe, tevī rīte. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — samyagdraṣhṭi jīvane pañchendriyaviṣhayasāmagrī chhe, bhogave paṇ chhe; parantu antaraṅg rāg-dveṣh-mohabhāv nathī, tethī karmano bandh nathī, nirjarā chhe; kevī chhe raṅgayukti? ‘‘स्वीकृता’’ kapaḍun ane raṅg ekaṭhān karavāmān āvyān chhe evī. 16 – 148.
कर्ममध्यपतितोऽपि ततो न ।।१७-१४९।।
khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ‘‘यतः ज्ञानवान् स्वरसतः अपि सर्वरागरस- वर्जनशीलः स्यात्’’ (यतः) je kāraṇathī (ज्ञानवान्) shuddhasvarūp-anubhavashīl chhe je jīv te, (स्वरसतः) vibhāvapariṇaman maṭyun hovāthī shuddhatārūpe dravya pariṇamyun chhe tethī (सर्वराग) jeṭalā rāg-dveṣh-mohapariṇāmarūp (रस) anādinā sanskār tenāthī (वर्जनशीलः स्यात्) rahit chhe svabhāv jeno, evo chhe; ‘‘ततः एषः कर्ममध्यपतितः अपि सकलकर्मभिः न लिप्यते’’ (ततः) te kāraṇathī (एषः) samyagdraṣhṭi jīv (कर्म) karmanā udayajanit anek prakāranī bhogasāmagrīmān (र्मध्यपतितः अपिः) paḍyo chhe arthāt pañchendriyabhogasāmagrī bhogave chhe, sukh-duḥkhane pāme chhe, tathāpi (सकलकर्मभिः) āṭhe prakāranān chhe je gnānāvaraṇādi karma, temanā vaḍe (न लिप्यते) bandhāto nathī. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — antaraṅg chīkaṇāpaṇun nathī tethī bandh thato nathī, nirjarā thāy chhe. 17 – 149.
