vastumātra chhe. vaḷī kevun chhe? ‘‘विपदाम् अपदं’’ (विपदाम्) chaturgatisansārasambandhī nānā prakāranān duḥkhonā (अपदं) abhāvasvarūp chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — ātmā sukhasvarūp chhe, sātā-asātākarmanā udayanā sanyoge thāy chhe je sukh-duḥkh te jīvanun svarūp nathī, karmanī upādhi chhe. vaḷī kevun chhe? ‘‘यत्पुरः अन्यानि पदानि अपदानि एव भासन्ते’’ (यत्पुरः) je shuddha svarūpano anubhavarūp āsvād āvatān (अन्यानि पदानि) chār gatinā paryāy, rāg-dveṣh-moh, sukh-duḥkharūp ityādi jeṭalā avasthābhed chhe te (अपदानि एव भासन्ते) jīvanun svarūp nathī, upādhirūp chhe, vinashvar chhe, duḥkharūp chhe — evo svād svānubhavapratyakṣhapaṇe āve chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe — shuddha chidrūp upādey, anya samasta hey. 7 – 139.
स्वादं द्वन्द्वमयं विधातुमसहः स्वां वस्तुवृत्तिं विदन् ।
सामान्यं कलयन् किलैष सकलं ज्ञानं नयत्येकताम् ।।८-१४०।।
khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ‘‘एषः आत्मा सकलं ज्ञानं एकताम् नयति’’ (एषः आत्मा) vasturūp vidyamān ātmā arthāt chetanadravya, (सकलं ज्ञानं) jeṭalā paryāyorūp pariṇamyun chhe gnān — matignān, shrutagnān, avadhignān, manaḥparyayagnān, kevaḷagnān ityādi anek vikalparūp pariṇamyun chhe gnān — tene (एकताम्) nirvikalparūp (नयति) anubhave chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — jevī rīte uṣhṇatāmātra agni chhe, tethī dāhyavastune bāḷato thako dāhyanā ākāre pariṇame chhe; tethī lokone evī buddhi ūpaje chhe ke kāṣhṭhano agni, chhāṇānno agni, tr̥uṇano agni; parantu ā samasta vikalpa jūṭhā chhe, agninun svarūp vichāratān uṣhṇatāmātra agni chhe, ekarūp chhe, kāṣhṭha, chhāṇān, tr̥uṇ agninun svarūp nathī; tevī rīte gnān chetanāprakāshamātra chhe, samasta gneyavastune jāṇavāno svabhāv chhe tethī samasta gneyavastune jāṇe chhe, jāṇatun thakun gneyākār pariṇame chhe; tethī gnānī jīvane evī buddhi ūpaje chhe ke matignān,
