pragaṭ chhe (तत् अयं) te ā (शुद्धस्वभावोदयः) shuddha jīvavastunun svarūp chhe. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — jem agnino dāhakasvabhāv chhe, samasta dāhyavastune bāḷe chhe, bāḷato thako agni potānā shuddhasvarūpe chhe – agnino evo ja svabhāv chhe; tem jīv gnānasvarūp chhe, samasta gneyane jāṇe chhe, jāṇato thako potānā svarūpe chhe – evo vastuno svabhāv chhe. gneyanā jāṇapaṇāthī jīvane ashuddhapaṇun māne chhe te na māno, jīv shuddha chhe; [visheṣh samādhān kare chhe — ] kāraṇ ke ‘‘किम् अपि द्रव्यान्तरं एकद्रव्यगतं न चकास्ति’’ (किम् अपि द्रव्यान्तरं) koī gneyarūp pudgaladravya athavā dharma, adharma, ākāsh, kāḷadravya (एकद्रव्य) shuddha jīvavastumān (गतं) ekadravyarūpe pariṇame chhe em (न चकास्ति) shobhatun nathī. bhāvārtha ām chhe ke — jīv samasta gneyane jāṇe chhe, gnān gnānarūp chhe, gneyavastu gneyarūp chhe; koī dravya potānun dravyatva chhoḍīne anya dravyarūp to nathī thayun. evo anubhav kone chhe te kahe chhe — ‘‘शुद्धद्रव्यनिरूपणार्पितमतेः’’ (शुद्धद्रव्य) samasta vikalpathī rahit shuddha chetanāmātra jīvavastunā (निरूपण) pratyakṣha anubhavamān (अर्पितमतेः) sthāpyun chhe buddhinun sarvasva jeṇe evā jīvane. vaḷī kevā jīvane? ‘‘तत्त्वं समुत्पश्यतः’’ sattāmātra shuddha jīvavastune pratyakṣha āsvāde chhe evā jīvane. bhāvārtha ām chhe — ‘jīv samasta gneyane jāṇe chhe, samasta gneyathī bhinna chhe,’ evo svabhāv samyagdraṣhṭi jīv jāṇe chhe. 23-215.
मन्यद्द्रव्यं भवति यदि वा तस्य किं स्यात्स्वभावः ।
र्ज्ञानं ज्ञेयं कलयति सदा ज्ञेयमस्यास्ति नैव ।।२४-२१६।।
khaṇḍānvay sahit arthaḥ — ‘‘सदा ज्ञानं ज्ञेयं कलयति अस्य ज्ञेयं न अस्ति एव’’ (सदा) sarva kāḷ (ज्ञानं) gnān arthāt arthagrahaṇashakti (ज्ञेयं) svaparasambandhī samasta gneyavastune (कलयति) ek samayamān dravya-guṇ-paryāyabhed sahit jevī chhe tevī jāṇe chhe. ek visheṣh — (अस्य) gnānanā sambandhathī (ज्ञेयं न अस्ति) gneyavastu gnān
