arthaḥgnān chhe te gneyamān jatun nathī tathā gney paṇ gnānanā pradeshomān āvatān nathī; potapotānā pradeshomān rahe chhe, to paṇ gnān tathā gneyamān gney-gnāyak vyavahār chhe.

bhāvārthaḥjem darpaṇ potānā ṭhekāṇe chhe ane ghaṭādik vastu potānā ṭhekāṇe chhe, chhatān darpaṇanī svachchhatā evī chhe ke jāṇe ghaṭ darpaṇamān āvīne ja beṭho hoy! e ja pramāṇe gnān-gneyano vyavahār jāṇavo.

have manaḥparyay-avadhignān tathā mati-shrutagnānanun sāmarthya kahe chheḥ

मणपज्जयविण्णाणं ओहीणाणं च देसपच्चक्खं
मइसुयाणाणं कमसो विसदपरोक्खं परोक्खं च ।।२५७।।
मनःपर्ययविज्ञानं अवधिज्ञानं च देशप्रत्यक्षम्
मतिश्रुतज्ञानं क्रमशः विशदपरोक्षं परोक्षं च ।।२५७।।

arthaḥmanaḥparyayagnān tathā avadhignān e banne to deshapratyakṣha chhe; matignān chhe te vishad eṭale pratyakṣha paṇ chhe tathā parokṣha paṇ chhe, tathā shrutagnān chhe te parokṣha ja chhe.

bhāvārthaḥmanaḥparyayagnānavadhignān chhe te ekadeshapratyakṣha chhe, kāraṇ ke jeṭalo potāno viṣhay chhe teṭalāne to vishadspaṣhṭa jāṇe chhe; sarvane jāṇatun nathī māṭe tene ekadesh kahīe chhīe. matignān chhe te indriy-manathī ūpaje chhe māṭe vyavahārathī indriyanā sambandhathī tene vishad paṇ kahīe chhīe; e pramāṇe te pratyakṣha paṇ chhe; parantu paramārthathī to te parokṣha ja chhe. tathā shrutagnān chhe te parokṣha ja chhe, kāraṇ ke te vishadspaṣhṭa jāṇatun nathī.

arthaḥindriyothī utpanna je matignān chhe te potāne yogya viṣhay je pudgaladravya tene jāṇe chhe. je indriyano jevo viṣhay chhe tevo ja jāṇe chhe. manasambandhī gnān chhe te shrutaviṣhay (arthāt shāstra-vachanane sāmbhaḷe chhe, tenā arthane jāṇe chhe) tathā indriyathī jāṇavāmān āve tene paṇ jāṇe chhe.

have indriyagnānanā upayoganī pravr̥utti anukramathī chhe em kahe chheḥ

पंचेंदियणाणाणं मज्झे एगं च होदि उवजुत्तं
मणणाणे उवजुत्ते इंदियणाण ण जाएदि ।।२५९।।
पञ्चेन्द्रियज्ञानानां मध्ये एकं च भवति उपयुक्तम्
मनोज्ञाने उपयुक्ते इन्द्रियज्ञानं न जायते ।।२५९।।

arthaḥpāñche indriyothī gnān thāy chhe paṇ temānthī koī ek indriyadvārathī gnān upayukta (joḍāvun) thāy chhe, parantu pāñche ekasāth -ekakāḷamān upayukta thatān nathī. vaḷī manognānathī upayukta thāy tyāre indriyagnān ūpajatun nathī.

bhāvārthaḥindriy-man sambandhī gnānanī pravr̥utti yugapat (ekasāth) thatī nathī paṇ ek kāḷamān ek ja gnānathī upayukta thāy chhe. jyāre ā jīv ghaṭane jāṇato hoy tyāre te kāḷamān paṭane jāṇato nathī. e pramāṇe e gnān kramarūp chhe.

bhāvārthaḥbhāvaindriy be prakāranī kahī chheḥ ek labdhirūp tathā bījī upayogarūp. tyān gnānāvaraṇakarmanā kṣhayopashamathī ātmāmān jāṇavānī shakti thāy tene labdhi kahe chhe ane te to pāñch indriy tathā man dvārā jāṇavānī shakti ek kāḷamān ja rahe chhe, parantu temān upayoganī vyaktirūp pravr̥utti chhe te gney pratye upayukta thāy chhe tyāre ek kāḷamān ekathī ja thāy chhe. evī ja kṣhayopashamagnānanī yogyatā chhe.

have, vastune anekātmapaṇun chhe to paṇ apekṣhāthī ekātmapaṇun paṇ chhe em kahe chheḥ

जं वत्थु अणेयंतं एयंतं तं पि होदि सविपेक्खं
सुयणाणेण णएहिं य णिरवेक्खं दीसदे णेव ।।२६१।।
यत् वस्तु अनेकान्तं एकान्तं तदपि भवति सव्यपेक्षम्
श्रुतज्ञानेन नयैः च निरपेक्षं दृश्यते नैव ।।२६१।।

arthaḥje vastu anekānta chhe te apekṣhāsahit ekānta paṇ chhe. tyān shrutagnānapramāṇathī sādhavāmān āve to vastu anekānta ja chhe tathā shrutagnānapramāṇanā ansharūp nayathī sādhavāmān āve to vastu ekānta paṇ chhe ane te apekṣhārahit nathī. kāraṇ ke, nirapekṣha nay mithyā chhe arthāt nirapekṣhatāthī vastunun svarūp jovāmān āvatun nathī.

arthaḥje gnān sarva vastune anekāntasvarūp parokṣharūpe prakāshe jāṇekahe te shrutagnān chhe. te shrutagnān sanshay, viparītatā ane anadhyavasāyathī rahit chhe em siddhāntamān kahyun chhe.

bhāvārthaḥje sarva vastune anekāntarūp parokṣharūpe prakāshe te shrutagnān chhe. shāstranān vachan sāmbhaḷavāthī arthane jāṇe te parokṣha ja jāṇe chhe; tathā shāstramān badhīy vastunun svarūp anekāntātmak kahyun chhe em sarva vastune jāṇe vā gurujanonā upadeshapūrvak jāṇe to sanshayādik paṇ rahe nahi.

have shrutagnānanā vikalpa (bhed) chhe te nay chhe. temanun svarūp kahe chheḥ

लोयाणं ववहारं धम्मविवक्खाइ जो पसाहेदि
सुयणाणस्स वियप्पो सो वि णओ लिंगसंभूदो ।।२६३।।
लोकानां व्यवहारं धर्मविवक्षया यः प्रसाधयति
श्रुतज्ञानस्य विकल्पः सः अपि नयः लिङ्गसम्भूतः ।।२६३।।

arthaḥvastunā ek dharmanī vivakṣhāthī je lokonā vyavahārane sādhe te nay chhe ane te shrutagnānano vikalpa (bhed) chhe. vaḷī te, liṅg (chihna)thī ūpajyo chhe.

have, ek dharmane nay kevī rīte grahaṇ kare chhe te kahe chheḥ

णाणाधम्मजुदं पि य एयं धम्मं पि वुच्चदे अत्थं
तस्सेयविवक्खादो णत्थि विवक्खा हु सेसाणं ।।२६४।।
नानाधर्मयुतः अपि च एकं धर्मं अपि उच्यते अर्थः
तस्यैकविवक्षातः नास्ति विवक्षा स्फु टं शेषाणाम् ।।२६४।।

arthaḥpadārtha nānā dharmathī yukta chhe topaṇ tene koī ek dharmarūp kahevāmān āve chhe, kāraṇ ke ek dharmanī jyān vivakṣhā karavāmān āve tyān te ja dharmane kahevāmān āve chhe paṇ bākīnā sarva dharmanī vivakṣhā karavāmān āvatī nathī.

bhāvārthaḥjem jīvavastumān astitva, nāstitva, nityatva, anityatva, ekatva, anekatva, chetanatva, amūrtatva ādi anek dharma chhe; te badhāmānthī koī ek dharmanī vivakṣhāthī kahevāmān āve ke ‘jīv chetanasvarūp ja chhe’ ityādi. tyān anya dharmanī vivakṣhā nathī karī paṇ tethī em na jāṇavun ke anya dharmono abhāv chhe. parantu ahīn to prayojananā āshrayathī tenā koī ek dharmane mukhya karī kahe chheanyanī ahīn vivakṣhā nathī (em samajavun).

have vastunā dharmane, tenā vāchak shabdane tathā tenā gnānane nay kahe chheḥ

सो चिय एक्को धम्मो वाचयसद्दो वि तस्स धम्मस्स

bhāvārthaḥvastunun grahaṇ karavāvāḷun gnān, teno vāchak shabda tathā vastu, ene (e traṇene) jem pramāṇasvarūp kahevāmān āve chhe tem nay paṇ kahevāmān āve chhe.

have vastunā ek ja dharmane grahaṇ kare evā ek nay (gnān)ne mithyātva shā māṭe kahevāmān āve chhe? teno uttar kahe chheḥ

ते सावेक्खा सुणया णिरवेक्खा ते वि दुण्णया होंति
सयलववहारसिद्धी सुणयादो होदि णियमेण ।।२६६।।
ते सापेक्षाः सुनयाः निरपेक्षाः ते अपि दुर्णयाः भवन्ति
सकलव्यवहारसिद्धिः सुनयात् भवति नियमेन ।।२६६।।

arthaḥpratham kahelā traṇ prakāranā nay te jo paraspar apekṣhāsahit hoy to te sunay chhe; parantu e ja jyāre apekṣhā rahit sarvathā ek ek grahaṇ karavāmān āve tyāre te durnay (mithyānay) chhe. sunayothī sarva vyavahāranī (vastunā svarūpanī) siddhi thāy chhe.

bhāvārthaḥnay chhe te badhāy sāpekṣha hoy to sunay chhe ane nirapekṣha hoy to kunay chhe. sāpekṣhatāthī sarva vastuvyavahāranī siddhi chhe samyakgnān svarūp chhe tathā kunayothī sarva lokavyavahārano lop thāy chhe mithyāgnānarūp chhe.

have, parokṣhagnānamān anumānapramāṇ paṇ chhe, tenun draṣhṭāntapūrvak svarūp kahe chheḥ

जं जाणिज्जइ जीवो इंदियवावारकायचिट्ठाहिं

bhāvārthaḥpahelān shrutagnānanā vikalpone nay kahyā hatā, ahīn anumānanun svarūp kahyun ke, sharīramān rahelo jīv pratyakṣha grahaṇamān āvato nathī. tethī sparshan, svādan, vāṇī, sūṅghavun, sāmbhaḷavun, dekhavun vagere (indriyonā vyāpār) tathā gaman-āgamanādi kāyānī cheṣhṭāothī jāṇavāmān āve chhe ke ‘sharīramān jīv chhe’. ā anumānagnān chhe, kāraṇ ke sādhanathī sādhyanun gnān thāy tene anumān kahe chhe ane te paṇ nay ja chhe. tene parokṣhapramāṇanā bhedomān kahyun chhe paṇ te paramārthathī nay ja chhe. te anumān svārtha-paramārthanā bhedathī tathā hetu-chihnanā bhedathī anek prakāranun kahyun chhe.

have nayonā bhedone kahe chheḥ

सो संगहेण एक्को दुविहो वि य दव्वपज्जएहिंतो
तेसिं च विसेसादो णइगमपहुदी हवे णाणं ।।२६८।।
सः संग्रहेन एकः द्विविधः अपि च द्रव्यपर्यायाभ्याम्
तयोः च विशेषात् नैगमप्रभृतिः भवेत् ज्ञानं ।।२६८।।

arthaḥte nay saṅgrahapaṇāthī arthāt sāmānyapaṇe to ek chhe. dravyārthik ane paryāyārthik bhedathī be prakāranā chhe. tathā visheṣhatāthī e bannenā bhedothī naigamanay ādithī laīne chhe te nay chhe, ane te gnān ja chhe.

have dravyārthikanayanun svarūp kahe chheḥ

जो साहदि सामण्णं अविणाभूदं विसेसरूवेहिं

यः साधयति विशेषान् बहुविधसामान्यसंयुतान् सर्वान्
साधनलिङ्गवशात् पर्यायविषयः नयः भवति ।।२७०।।

arthaḥje nay anek prakāre sāmānyasahit sarva visheṣhane tenā sādhananun je liṅg (chihna) tenā vashathī sādhe te paryāyārthikanay chhe.

bhāvārthaḥsāmānya sahit tenā visheṣhone hetupūrvak sādhe te paryāyārthikanay chhe. jem sat sāmānyapaṇā sahit chetan-achetanapaṇun tenun visheṣh chhe, chit sāmānyapaṇā sahit sansārī-siddha jīvapaṇun tenun visheṣh chhe, sansārīpaṇā sāmānya sahit tras-sthāvar jīvapaṇun tenun visheṣh chhe, ityādi. vaḷī achetan sāmānyapaṇā sahit pudgalādi pāñch dravya tenān visheṣh chhe tathā pudgal sāmānyapaṇā sahit aṇu -skandh-ghaṭ-paṭ ādi tenān visheṣh chhe. ityādi paryāyārthikanay hetupūrvak sādhavāmān āve chhe.

bhāvārthaḥtraṇ kāḷanā paryāyomān anvayarūp chhe te dravya chhe. tene potānā viṣhayathī bhūtakāḷanī paryāyane paṇ vartamānavat saṅkalpamān le, bhāvikāḷanī paryāyane paṇ vartamānavat saṅkalpamān le tathā vartamānakāḷanī paryāyane te kiñchit niṣhpanna1 hoy vā aniṣhpanna2 hoy to paṇ niṣhpannarūp saṅkalpamān le evā gnān tathā vachanane naigamanay kahe chhe. tenā anek bhed chhe. sarva nayanā viṣhayane mukhyatā-gauṇatāthī potānā saṅkalparūpe viṣhay kare chhe. jem kemanuṣhya nāmanā jīvadravyane sansāraparyāy chhe, siddhaparyāy chhe tathā ā manuṣhyaparyāy chhe em kahe to tyān sansāraparyāy to atīt-anāgat-vartamān traṇ kāḷ sambandhī paṇ chhe, siddhapaṇun anāgat ja chhe tathā manuṣhyapaṇun vartamān ja chhe, chhatān ā nayanā vachanathī abhiprāyamān vartamān-vidyamānavat saṅkalpathī parokṣharūp anubhavamān laīne kahe ke ‘ā dravyamān, mārā gnānamān, hāl ā paryāy bhāse chhe’ evā saṅkalpane naigamanayano viṣhay kahe chhe. emānthī koīne mukhya tathā koīne gauṇarūp kahe chhe.

जो संगहेदि सव्वं देसं वा विविहदव्वपज्जायं
अणुगमलिंगविसिट्ठं सो वि णओ संगहो होदि ।।२७२।।
यः संगृह्णाति सर्वं देशं वा विविधद्रव्यपर्यायम्

bhāvārthaḥsarva vastu utpād-vyay-dhrauvyalakṣhaṇ satthīdravya paryāyothī anvayarūp ‘ek satmātra chhe’ em kahe, vā sāmānya satsvarūp dravyamātra chhe vā visheṣh satrūp paryāyamātra chhe, vā jīvavastu chitsāmānyathī ek chhe vā siddhatvasāmānyathī sarva siddho ek chhe, vā sansārītvasāmānyathī sarva sansārījīv ek chhe, ityādi. tathā ajīvasāmānyathī pudgalādi pāñche dravya ek ajīvadravya chhe vā pudgalatvasāmānyathī aṇuskandhghaṭpaṭādi ek pudgaladravya chhe, ityādi saṅgraharūp kahe te saṅgrahanay chhe.

जो संगहेण गहिदं विसेसरहिदं पि भेददे सददं
परमाणूपज्जंतं ववहारणओ हवे सो हु ।।२७३।।
यत् संग्रहेण गृहीतं विशेषरहितं अपि भेदयति सततम्
परमाणुपर्यन्तं व्यवहारनयः भवेत् सः खलु ।।२७३।।

arthaḥsaṅgrahanay dvārā vastune visheṣharahit grahaṇ karī hatī tene paramāṇu paryant nirantar je nay bhede te vyavahāranay chhe.

यः वर्त्तमानकाले अर्थपर्यायपरिणतं अर्थम्
सन्तं साधयति सर्वं तमपि नयः ऋजुनयं जानीहि ।।२७४।।

bhāvārthaḥvastu samaye samaye pariṇame chhe. vartamān ek samayanī paryāyane arthaparyāy kahe chhe ane te r̥̄ujusūtranayano viṣhay chhe; te vastune paryāyamātra ja kahe chhe. vaḷī ghaḍī, muhūrta ādi kāḷane paṇ vyavahāramān vartamān kahīe chhīe. te vartamānakāḷasthāyī paryāyane paṇ r̥̄ujusūtranay sādhe chhe tethī tenī sthūl r̥̄ujusūtra sañgnā chhe. e pramāṇe pratham kahelā dravyārthik traṇ nay ane ek ā r̥̄ujusūtranay maḷī chāre nayone arthanay kahevāmān āve chhe.

bhāvārthaḥsaṅkhyāekavachan-dvivachan-bahuvachan, liṅgstrī -puruṣh-napunsakadarshak vachan, ādi shabdathī kāḷ, kārak, puruṣh, upasarga levo. e vaḍe vyākaraṇanā prayojit padārthane bhedarūpathī kahe te shabdanay chhe. jem kepuṣhya-tārakā-nakṣhatrarūp ek jyotiṣhīnā vimānanā traṇe liṅg kahe, tyān vyavahāramān to virodh jaṇāy chhe, kāraṇ ke e ja puruṣh, e ja strīnapunsak shī rīte hoy? to paṇ shabdanayano ā ja viṣhay chhe ke jevo shabda kahe tevo ja arthane bhedarūp mānavo.

have samabhirūḍhanayane kahe chheḥ

जो एगेगं अत्थं परिणदिभेदेण साहदे णाणं
मुक्खत्थं वा भासदि अहिरूढं तं णयं जाण ।।२७६।।
यः एकैकं अर्थं परिणतिभेदेन साधयति ज्ञानम्
मुख्यार्थं वा भाषते अभिरूढं तत् नयं जानीहि ।।२७६।।

arthaḥje nay vastune pariṇāmanā bhedathī ek ek judā judā bhedarūp sādhe athavā temānā mukhya arthane grahaṇ karī sādhe tene samabhirūḍhanay jāṇavo.

bhāvārthaḥshabdanay vastunā paryāyanāmathī bhed karato nathī, tyāre ā samabhirūḍhanay chhe te ek vastunān paryāyanām chhe tene bhedarūp judā judā padārthapaṇe grahaṇ kare chhe; tyān jene mukhya karī pakaḍe tene sadā tevo ja kahe chhe. jem‘gau’ shabdanā ghaṇā artha chhe tathā ‘gau’ padārthanā ghaṇān nām chhe tene ā nay judā judā padārtha māne chhe. temānthī mukhyapaṇe ‘gau’ padārtha pakaḍyo tene chālatān-besatān-sūtān ‘gau’ ja kahyā kare chhe te samabhirūḍhanay chhe.

जेण सहावेण जदा परिणदरूवम्मि तम्मयत्तादो
तं परिणामं साहदि जो वि णओ सो हु परमत्थो ।।२७७।।
येन स्वभावेन यदा परिणतरूपे तन्मयत्वात्
तं परिणामं साधयति यः अपि नयः सः खलु परमार्थः ।।२७७।।

arthaḥvastu je kāḷe je svabhāve pariṇamanarūp hoy chhe te kāḷe te pariṇāmathī tanmay hoy chhe; tethī te ja pariṇāmarūp (vastune) sādhekahe te evambhūtanay chhe. ā nay paramārtharūp chhe.

bhāvārthaḥje dharmanī mukhyatāthī vastunun je nām hoy te ja arthanā pariṇamanarūp je kāḷe (vastu) pariṇame tene te ja nāmathī kahe te evambhūtanay chhe, tene nishchay (nay) paṇ kahevāmān āve chhe. jem ‘gau’ne chāle tyāre ja gāy kahe paṇ anya kāḷe na kahe.

एवं विविहणएहिं जो वत्थुं ववहरेदि लोयम्हि
दंसणणाणचरित्तं सो साहदि सग्गमोक्खं च ।।२७८।।

दर्शनज्ञानचरित्रं सः साधयति स्वर्गमोक्षौ च ।।२७८।।

सो ण वसो इत्थिजणे सो ण जिओ इंदिएहिं मोहेण
जो ण य गिह्णदि गंथं अब्भंतर-बाहिरं सव्वं ।।२८२।।
सः न वशः स्त्रीजने सः न जितः इन्द्रियैः मोहेन
यः न च गृह्णाति ग्रन्थं आभ्यन्तरबाह्यं सर्वम् ।।२८२।।

arthaḥje puruṣh tattvanun svarūp jāṇī bāhya-abhyantar sarva parigrahane grahaṇ karato nathī te puruṣh strījanane vash thato nathī, te ja puruṣh indriyothī jitāī jato nathī tathā te ja puruṣh mohakarma je mithyātvakarma tenāthī jitāto nathī.

bhāvārthaḥsansāranun bandhan parigrah chhe. je sarva parigrahane chhoḍe te ja strī-indriy-kaṣhāyādine vashībhūt thato nathī. sarvatyāgī thaī sharīranun paṇ mamatva na rākhe to te nijasvarūpamān ja līn thāy chhe.

have lokānuprekṣhānā chintavananun māhātmya pragaṭ kare chheḥ

एवं लोयसहावं जो झायदि उवसमेक्कसब्भावो
सो खविय कम्मपुंजं तस्सेव सिहामणी होदि ।।२८३।।
एवं लोकस्वभावं यः ध्यायति उपशमैकसद्भावः
सः क्षपयित्वा कर्मपुञ्जं तस्य एव शिखामणिः भवति ।।२८३।।

arthaḥje puruṣh upasham karī ek svabhāvarūp thayo thako ā pramāṇe lokasvarūpane dhyāve chhechintavan kare chhe te puruṣh kṣhapitnāsh karyo chhe. karmapuñj jeṇe evo, e lokano ja shikhāmaṇi (chūḍāmaṇi) thāy chhe.

bhāvārthaḥe pramāṇe (je puruṣh) sāmyabhāv karī lokānuprekṣhānun chintavan kare chhe te puruṣh karmano nāsh karī lokanā shikhare jaī virājamān thāy chhe. ane tyān anant, anupam, bādhārahit, svādhīn, gnānānandasvarūp sukhane anubhave chhe. ahīn lokabhāvanānun kathan vistārapūrvak karavāno āshay evo chhe ke anyamatī lokanun svarūp, jīvanun svarūp tathā hitāhitanun svarūp anek prakārathī anyathā, asatyārtha ane pramāṇaviruddha kahe chhe. tene sāmbhaḷī koī jīv to viparīt shraddhān kare chhe, koī sanshayarūp thāy chhe tathā koī anadhyavasāyarūp thāy chhe. ane evā viparītādi shraddhānathī chitta sthiratā pāmatun nathī, chitta sthir thayā vinā yathārtha dhyānanī siddhi thatī nathī ane dhyān vinā karmono nāsh thato nathī. tethī e viparītādi shraddhān dūr thavā māṭe lokanun ane jīvādi padārthonun yathārtha svarūp jāṇavā arthe ahīn vistārapūrvak kathan karyun chhe. tene jāṇī jīvādinun svarūp oḷakhī potānā svarūpamān chittane nishchal sthir karī, karmakalaṅk nāsh karī, bhavyajīv mokṣhane prāpta thāo! evo shrīguruono upadesh chhe.

lokākār vichārīne, siddhasvarūp chitār;
rāgavirodh viḍārīne, ātamarūp sambhāḷ.
ātamarūp sambhāḷ, mokṣhapur vaso sadāhī;
ādhivyādhijaramaraṇ, ādi duḥkh hvai na kadā hī.
shrīguru shikṣhā dhārī, ṭāḷī abhimān kushok;
manasthir kāraṇ ā vichār, ‘nijarūp sulok’.

11. bodhiādurlabh anuprekṣhā
जीवो अणंतकालं वसइ णिगोएसु आइपरिहीणो
तत्तो णीसरिदूणं पुढवीकायादिओ होदि ।।२८४।।
जीवः अनन्तकालं वसति निगोदेषु आदिपरिहीनः
ततः निःसृत्य पृथ्वीकायादिकः भवति ।।२८४।।

arthaḥā jīv, sansāramān anādikāḷathī māṇḍī anantakāḷ to nigodamān rahe chhe ane tyānthī nīkaḷī pr̥ithvīkāyādi paryāyane dhāraṇ kare chhe. anādithī anantakāḷ sudhī nityanigodamān jīvano vās chhe. tyān ek sharīramān anantānant jīvonā āhār, shvāsoshvās, jīvan-maraṇ samān chhe. ek shvāsanā aḍhāramā bhāg jeṭalun āyuṣhya chhe. tyānthī nīkaḷī kadāchit pr̥ithvī-ap-tej-vāyukāyaparyāy pāme chhe. e paryāyo pāmavī durlabh chhe.

तत्थ वि असंखकालं बायरसुहुमेसु कुणइ परियत्तं
चिंतामणि व्व दुलहं तसत्तण लहदि कट्ठेण ।।२८५।।
तत्र अपि असंख्यकालं बादरसूक्ष्मेसु करोति परिवर्त्तनम्
चिंतामणिवत् दुर्ल्लभं त्रसत्वं लभते कष्टेन ।।२८५।।

arthaḥtyān pr̥ithvīkāy ādi sūkṣhma tathā bādarakāyomān asaṅkhyāt kāḷ bhramaṇ kare chhe. tyānthī nīkaḷī trasapaṇun pāmavun ghaṇā kaṣhṭe paṇ durlabh chhe; jem chintāmaṇi pāmavo durlabh chhe tem.

विकलेन्द्रियेषु जायते तत्र अपि आस्ते पूर्वकोटयः
ततः निःसृत्य कथमपि पञ्चेन्द्रियः भवति ।।२८६।।

arthaḥsthāvaramānthī nīkaḷī tras thāy tyān paṇ be indriy, traṇ indriy, chār indriyarūp vikalatrayapaṇāne pāme. tyān (utkr̥uṣhṭa) karoḍo pūrva rahe chhe. tyānthī nīkaḷī mahākaṣhṭethī pañchendriyapaṇun pāme chhe.

bhāvārthaḥvikalatrayamānthī nīkaḷī pañchendriyapaṇun pāmavun durlabh chhe. jo vikalatrayamānthī pharī sthāvarakāyamān jaī utpanna thāy to tyān pharī ghaṇo kāḷ bhogave; eṭalā māṭe pañchendriyapaṇun pāmavun atishay durlabh chhe.

सो वि मणेण विहीणो ण य अप्पाणं परं पि जाणेदि
अह मणसहिदो होदि हु तह वि तिरिक्खो हवे रुद्दो ।।२८७।।
सः अपि मनसा विहीनः न च आत्मानं परं अपि जानाति
अथ मनःसहितः भवति स्फु टं तथा अपि तिर्यक् भवेत् रुद्रः ।।२८७।।

arthaḥvikalatrayamānthī nīkaḷī pañchendriy kadī thāy to asañgnī manarahit thāy chhe. tyān sva tathā parano bhed jāṇato nathī. kadāchit manasahit sañgnī paṇ thāy to rudra tiryañch thāy chhe arthāt billī, ghuvaḍ, sarpa, sinh ane machchhādi krūr tiryañch thāy chhe.

सः तीव्राशुभलेश्यः नरके निपतति दुःखदे भीमे
तत्र अपि दुःखं भुङ्क्ते शारीरं मानसं प्रचुरम् ।।२८८।।

arthaḥkrūr tiryañch thāy to te tīvra ashubhapariṇāmathī ashubh leshyā sahit marī narakamān paḍe chhe. kevun chhe narak? mahā duḥkhadāyak ane bhayānak chhe. tyān sharīrasambandhī tathā manasambandhī prachur (ghaṇān tīvra ākarān) duḥkh bhogave chhe.

have kahe chhe kee narakamānthī nīkaḷī tiryañch thāy to tyān paṇ duḥkh sahe chheḥ

तत्तो णीसरिदूणं पुणरवि तिरिएसु जायदे पावं
तत्थ वि दुक्खमणंतं विसहदि जीवो अणेयविहं ।।२८९।।
ततः निःसृत्य पुनरपि तिर्यक्षु जायते पापं
तत्र अपि दुःखं अनन्तं विषहते जीवः अनेकविधम् ।।२८९।।

arthaḥe narakamānthī nīkaḷī pharī tiryañchagatimān ūpaje chhe; tyān paṇ jem pāparūp thāy tem ā jīv anek prakāranān anant duḥkh visheṣhatā pūrvak sahe chhe.

have kahe chhe kemanuṣhyapaṇun pāmavun mahādurlabh chhe. tyān paṇ mithyādraṣhṭi banī pāp upajāve chheḥ

रयणं चउप्पहे पिव मणुयत्तं सुट्ठु दुल्लहं लहिय
मिच्छो हवेइ जीवो तत्थ वि पावं समज्जेदि ।।२९०।।

रत्नं चतुष्पथे इव मनुजत्वं सुष्ठु दुर्लभं लब्ध्वा
म्लेच्छः भवति जीवः तत्र अपि पापं समर्जयति ।।२९०।।

arthaḥtiryañchamānthī nīkaḷī manuṣhyagati pāmavī ati durlabh chhe. jem chār panth vachche ratna paḍī gayun hoy to te mahābhāgya hoy to ja hāthamān āve chhe tem (mānavapaṇun) durlabh chhe. vaḷī āvo durlabh manuṣhyadeh pāmīne paṇ jīv mithyādraṣhṭi banī pāp upajāve chhe.

bhāvārthaḥmanuṣhya paṇ kadāchit thāy to tyān mlechchhakhaṇḍ ādimān vā mithyādraṣhṭionī saṅgatimān ūpajī pāp ja upajāve chhe.

have kahe chhe kemanuṣhya paṇ thāy ane te āryakhaṇḍamān paṇ ūpaje topaṇ tyān uttam kuḷādi pāmavān ati durlabh chheḥ

अह लहदि अज्जवत्तं तह ण वि पावेइ उत्तमं गोत्तं
उत्तम कुले वि पत्ते धणहीणो जायदे जीवो ।।२९१।।
अथ लभते आर्यावर्तं तथा न अपि प्राप्नोति उत्तमं गोत्रम्
उत्तमकुले अपि प्राप्ते धनहीनः जायते जीवः ।।२९१।।

arthaḥmanuṣhyaparyāy pāmī kadāchit āryakhaṇḍamān paṇ janma pāme to tyān uchcha kuḷ pāmavun durlabh chhe. kadāchit uchcha kuḷamān paṇ janma pāme to tyān dhanahīn daridrī thāy ane tenāthī kāī sukr̥utya nahi banatān pāpamān ja līn rahe chhe.

अह धणसहिदो होदि हु इंदियपरिपुण्णदा तदो दुलहा
अह इंदियसंपुण्णो तह वि सरोओ हवे देहो ।।२९२।।
अथ धनसहितः भवति स्फु टं इन्द्रियपरिपूर्णता ततः दुर्ल्लभा
अथ इन्द्रियसम्पूर्णः तथापि सरोगः भवेत् देहः ।।२९२।।
