arthaḥ — je jīv doṣhosahit devone to dev māne chhe, jīvahinsā
sahitamān dharma māne chhe tathā parigrahāsaktane guru māne chhe te pragaṭapaṇe
mithyādraṣhṭi chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — bhāvamithyādraṣhṭi to adraṣhṭa – chhupo mithyādraṣhṭi chhe, parantu
je rāg-dveṣh-moh ādi aḍhār doṣhosahit kudevone dev mānī vande – pūje
chhe, hinsā – jīvaghātādimān dharma māne chhe tathā parigrahamān āsakta evā
veṣhadhārīne guru māne chhe te to pragaṭ – prasiddha mithyādraṣhṭi chhe.
have koī kahe chhe ke ‘‘vyantarādi dev lakṣhmī āpe chhe – upakār kare
chhe, to teonun pūjan – vandan karavun ke nahi?’ teno uttar kahe chheḥ –
ण य को वि देदि लच्छी ण को वि जीवस्स कुणदि उवयारं ।
उवयारं अवयारं कम्मं पि सुहासुहं कुणदि ।।३१९।।
न च कोऽपि ददाति लक्ष्मीं न कः अपि जीवस्य करोति उपकारम् ।
उपकारं अपकारं कर्म अपि शुभाशुभं करोति ।।३१९।।
arthaḥ — ā jīvane koī vyantarādi dev lakṣhmī āpato nathī,
koī anya upakār paṇ karato nathī, parantu mātra jīvanān pūrvasañchit
shubhāshubh karmo ja upakār ke apakār kare chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — koī em māne chhe ke — ‘‘vyantarādi dev amane
lakṣhmī āpe chhe – amāro upakār kare chhe tethī teonun ame pūjan – vandan
karīe chhīe,’’ paṇ e ja mithyābuddhi chhe. pratham to ā kāḷamān ‘koī
vyantarādi āpato hoy’ evun pratyakṣha pote dekhyun nathī – upakār karato
dekhāto nathī. jo em hoy to tene pūjavāvāḷā ja daridrī-duḥkhī – rogī
shā māṭe rahe? māṭe te vyartha kalpanā kare chhe. vaḷī parokṣharūp paṇ evo
niyamarūp sambandh dekhāto nathī ke je pūje temane avashya upakārādi thāy
ja chhe; mātra ā mohī jīv nirarthak ja vikalpa upajāve chhe. pūrvasañchit
shubhāshubhakarmo chhe te ja ā jīvane sukh, duḥkh, dhan, daridratā, jīvan,
maraṇ kare chhe.
